After sightseeing in Kamikochi, we drove and enjoyed a relaxing Onsen as a couple. The open-air bath in the special Room was located in a spacious garden, allowing us to spend time at ease. The Room was also large with beautiful decor, providing a comfortable stay. We would love to visit again.

Dinner and breakfast were extremely delicious and satisfying! For breakfast, you can choose between Japanese and Western styles, and even select your preferred dining time. It was perfect!

The lodge was clean, and we were able to stay comfortably even with our dog. There were only two of us and one dog, so we didn’t use it, but there were futons laid out in the loft as well. However, those futons had some unexplained stains—maybe from a leak? I’m not sure if they can’t be removed, but it wasn’t pleasant. This time we stayed with a small dog, but I think we would use the lodge more often if guests could stay with dogs of any size. If it were possible to stay not only with one dog but also with multiple dogs, we would definitely like to stay again.

The building itself shows its age, but the Room and large public bath were well-cleaned, ensuring a comfortable stay. Additionally, the host's excellent hospitality made the experience very pleasant. The main building offers spacious Rooms, and being able to bring a road bike inside was an added bonus. I would love to stay here again.

This was my first stay! The biggest disappointment was the musty, moldy smell as soon as I entered the Room. There was also a dead cockroach in the indoor crate area, so I chose not to use it. Dinner was served as a course meal. It was very delicious! I felt sorry for the dog that joined us because it kept whining. With all those aromas, it must have wanted to eat too... Breakfast was also delicious! However, it was disappointing that coffee was served before the meal and didn’t seem to be offered afterward. I had been informed in advance about the scaffolding, so that couldn’t be helped. Having an Onsen in the Room is amazing! You can bathe whenever you like, and there was even a dedicated baby-bath-style “dog bath,” so our dog could try an Onsen for the first time! I just wish I had known about the scaffolding at the time of Reservation (tears).

I truly felt the warm hospitality of this wonderful family throughout my stay. I never expected they would host a mini concert or a stargazing event. A standalone Hotel with nothing around? Not at all—first, you’ll be amazed by the superb Onsen. The moment you stroke your left shoulder with your right hand and your right shoulder with your left, you can feel how pleasantly smooth the water is. Meals are served in a private dining room, so you can relax and take your time. If only the futon mattress were thicker and the TV one size larger, it would be absolutely perfect!

In the Golden Week peak season, we searched for a pension and ended up here. Our family always looks forward to dinner at a pension, and we chose Millefeuille because we wanted to enjoy a relaxed evening meal. The dining area had tables arranged in five sections, so each group could sit together. The meal was a thoughtfully prepared set course. The turnip mousse appetizer was elegant and delicious—our foodie daughter said it looked beautiful as well, and I completely agreed. The tuna sashimi also felt carefully prepared—was that an appetizer too? The course flowed nicely: two appetizers, soup, rice, main (meat), dessert, and coffee. Both the appetizers and the main dish felt especially elaborate, making for a well-balanced course. We were full and very satisfied. If there were a sprinkle of parsley on top of the corn soup, it might look even more vibrant. We ordered a bottle of wine; it was an easy-to-drink white that didn’t overpower the food, and it was priced as if there was almost no profit—really reflecting the owner’s kind hospitality. There is also a grand piano in the dining room, and we heard they used to hold small piano or string concerts. After dinner (with permission from other guests), I was allowed to play a little. Having a grand piano there creates such a wonderful atmosphere. Breakfast was also colorful on one plate, and we were full from the morning. For the bath, we were told to enter as our group in the women’s bath and lock it while using it; we did so. It is not a private family bath—it is separated by gender. It is not an Onsen, so there is no Hot Spring Tax. The Room was clean with thoughtful touches throughout, so nothing about its age bothered us at all. The TV wasn’t turned on at first; right after check-in I asked the owner about it and they switched it on for us. It was good that we tried turning it on early. We had an extremely satisfying stay that exceeded expectations for the price. Perhaps one owner focuses on conversation while another handles cooking—we were able to relax at our own pace. The chats were very enjoyable as well; we truly felt their hospitality. Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay.

Our family stayed here for two nights in August. It was our first time at an Accommodation with self check-in, so we were a bit nervous, but we received thorough support via SMS a few days before and again the day prior, which made us feel at ease. On the day, we entered by keying the passcode into the lock on the front door, and check-in was easy using the tablet inside! Perhaps because it’s still a new Facility, everything was very clean—and it felt more spacious than we expected, which surprised us. The kids immediately explored and found the loft; they played up there nonstop. The adults took a breather and then started preparing for a BBQ. We picked up some great-looking meat from the butcher right in front (we later learned it’s a well-known shop). With perfect weather, we enjoyed a family BBQ while watching the sunset. It became our best memory of this summer! The amenities were also excellent—high-end products like those used in salons—so my wife was especially happy. This may become everyone’s favorite Accommodation! We also requested breakfast bread vouchers; it seems to be a popular local bakery as well, and it was busy from early morning. We were very satisfied eating delicious bread on the deck while enjoying the view as a family. Next year, we’d love to come back for a Multiple Night Stay with an extra day or so. Thank you very much!

This dog-friendly accommodation made our trip very comfortable. The garden was spacious, and the dogs seemed to enjoy it! The flooring was non-slip, which gave us peace of mind. Everything we needed, including tableware, was provided, making two nights feel too short. However, there were no treats prepared for the dogs. Next time, we’d love to stay for about a week. We look forward to visiting again!

I stayed here for a Multiple Night Stay during my trip to Nagano. Even though I arrived much earlier than planned, the front desk staff kindly assisted me, which was very helpful. The Room was spacious enough for a family, and since it was just the two of us as a couple, we could really relax. Because the location is up in the mountains, it was quiet and cool at night, and I slept well. Breakfast was buffet-style with a sufficient variety. Since I stayed multiple nights, I had breakfast twice, and I appreciated that the selection changed slightly. There are vending machines for drinks and ice cream inside the building, as well as a small shop, but there are no convenience stores or restaurants nearby. If you choose a Plan without meals or plan to have light food and drinks in your Room, I recommend shopping before arriving at the Accommodation. I also had a Plan without dinner, so the front desk staff told me about “Madarao no Yu,” located a short way down the hill. Thank you to all the staff for their kind hospitality—this was my first Multiple Night Stay, and I had a very comfortable time.

You can really tell the meals are prepared with heartfelt care.

I had a relaxing and leisurely time. It was enjoyable. Having a rice cooker was very helpful.

Although it was slightly expensive due to the Obon season, it was still cheaper than nearby ryokans for a solo trip with two meals included. Being a public accommodation, I didn't have high expectations, but the onsen was flawless with natural flowing water, and all the staff provided warm and pleasant service. The room was a 6-tatami mat Japanese-style room where sounds from neighboring rooms could be heard, but the neighbors were quiet at night, allowing for a good night's sleep. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious even without using luxurious ingredients (perhaps there is also a plan with more luxurious ingredients).

Two 350ml cans of craft beer and a frozen pizza made with carefully selected ingredients from "Moriyama Napoli" were provided. The black beer, chosen by the staff, was refreshing, easy to drink, and delicious. The pizza was so tasty that it didn’t feel like it was frozen.

Everything was satisfactory except that the bath water was a little lukewarm. The building is old, but it is well cleaned and spotless. The meals were also good—especially the dried fish at breakfast, which was delicious.

The staff at the accommodation were incredibly helpful. We stayed during the year-end, and the interior of the yurt was so warm and comfortable that we couldn't feel the cold outside. The dinner options, including the hot pot course and barbecue course, were abundant with plenty of meat, vegetables, mushrooms, appetizers, and even ice cream for dessert. We were completely satisfied. One member of our group couldn't eat meat, so we requested in advance to substitute seafood for the hot pot meat. The staff handled this request kindly and attentively. Breakfast was served buffet-style with bread, soup, coffee/juice, fried rice (which was especially delicious), fresh vegetable salad—all of which were delightful and satisfying. We also received free tickets to a nearby onsen facility. Bringing along a towel set from our bungalow that could be returned at the onsen made it convenient to enjoy outdoor baths, löyly sessions, and saunas before heading back home. Every aspect of our stay was thoughtfully arranged for an exceptional experience. Highly recommended!
