The road leading to the Hotel was bumpy, but the front desk staff were kind and guided us. The bed was comfortable and the air was fresh, so I would like to stay again next time.

The Ryokan is old but very clean, and the Room has been renovated and is beautifully maintained. The futon is made up of multiple stacked mattresses, giving it a nice height and exceptional comfort. The black hot spring bath fits up to three people; it isn’t large, but the water is pleasantly lukewarm so we could soak and relax. Above all, the meal portions were outstanding—yuba (tofu skin), thick rolled omelet, salt-grilled ayu with roe, freshly fried tempura, a meat hot pot, rice, and much more—everything was plentiful and very satisfying. Everyone was very kind, and I would love to stay here again when visiting Yoro Valley.

It was a bit hard to find when driving to the Hotel, but it was reasonably priced, and Gin-no-Yu Onsen was right in front. It was perfect for a girls’ trip—four of us could stay together, and the Room was spacious. The air conditioning was already on when we entered the Room, which was amazing! We also enjoyed exploring the Onsen town and visiting Kin-no-Yu Onsen. The shops closed early so we had to hurry, but overall we were very satisfied. Thank you!

I stayed here after hiking Mt. Kisokoma. It’s a warm, family-run Accommodation, and I truly felt welcomed. They also responded kindly and thoroughly to my questions in advance, which I really appreciated. The simmered carp was carefully prepared so I could eat it without worrying about the bones, and I even had seconds of the barley rice—it was delicious. From the Room window, I could see the morning glow over the Southern Alps, and soaking in the Onsen was deeply relaxing. Next time, we’d like to visit during the autumn foliage season for another hike up Mt. Kisokoma—and to come back for the starry sky we didn’t get to see this time. Thank you very much.

Stayed here for the second night after spending the first night at a pension in Kurumayama. The lakeside Japanese-style room was clean and had everything we needed. The Onsen bath was truly amazing. Due to lack of prior checking, we found out that the attached restaurant was closed for dinner that evening. In the morning, we enjoyed a bakery breakfast box at a lakeside table. The bread and scones were delicious, and the honey was exceptional!

The meals were excellent, and I could tell they put effort into serving different dishes each day. The bath is quite hot, so you may want to add cold water as you soak, but it truly warms you to the core. Because it’s an Accommodation in a very rural area, there were few guests and I was able to relax completely. I would love to visit again.

The Facility is new, and the shower rooms were assigned by Room number and had locks, so it was very comfortable. However, one disappointing point was that there were two spots of dog poop in the dog run—probably left by a previous guest—and they were fairly large, so I wish more attention had been paid during cleaning. Also, since we are paying an accommodation fee, I think satisfaction would increase if items like diaper wraps (belly bands) and treats were provided. Also, when it rains you get wet walking from the Room to the tarp area, so I would be happy if there were a covered section along the way as well. In particular, it would be better if there were a roof at the entrance. I’ve written what I noticed, but overall the staff were pleasant, and it’s an Accommodation I’d like to stay at again. I stayed for one night and two days. The staff were very polite and kind, and their friendly conversation made my stay truly enjoyable. I also used the sauna, and the facilities were well equipped—I was very satisfied. My friend who stayed with me even said, “We want to stay one more night,” because we had such a meaningful time. It was a wonderful Accommodation that made me want to return every year. I will definitely be back!

We visited to see the moss phlox at Hitsujiyama Park. The Accommodation offered a free stargazing tour, and we had a wonderful time. Every staff member was truly hospitable. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

Stayed during a busy holiday period. It was likely fully booked and very busy, yet the staff provided excellent and attentive service. They kindly assisted with sightseeing advice and guidance. For dinner, we chose Izu beef and abalone as the main dishes. Although I usually prefer meat, the abalone with liver vinegar sauce was incredibly delicious! I’d love to have it again!! The staff also graciously accommodated our request to add an extra Izu beef steak—thank you for that. Of course, we also enjoyed the kinmedai (golden eye snapper) and spiny lobster; everything was delightful. Both dinner and breakfast were highly satisfying, with so many side dishes that it felt overwhelming in a good way! The private-use baths allowed us to relax at our own pace without any rush. This has become one of the ryokans I'd love to visit again!

A free gondola ticket was included, and although it was only operating in the morning, we managed to catch it just in time (we couldn't see the outside scenery due to rain and fog). I think it would be pleasant if it were sunny. I intended to just complete the check-in process, but they kindly allowed us into the Room quite early, which was very helpful! That alone lifted my spirits. During the check-in process, we were offered tea and a hand towel. The food might have mixed reviews, but it's similar to what you find at any Club Med. They cut dragon fruit for us and served it generously, making me feel like I was abroad. Unfortunately, the beer server closest to our table was broken.

We stayed here on our way to Kumamoto, visiting places like Hita and Yume Otsuribashi. Upon arrival, the staff promptly helped us with our luggage. Since there were few guests staying, we were allowed to use the men's onsen as a private family bath. The outdoor onsen had a silky texture that felt like applying lotion to the skin. As our room only had a shower, this was a very appreciated service. The room featured elegant furnishings that must have been impressive when first opened. While some signs of aging were noticeable (like loose closet knobs), everything was kept clean and tidy. The TV was quite small—less than 20 inches—and we found ourselves standing close to watch it at times. Normally, we don't watch much TV during trips, but since the weather was bad and there wasn't much else to do outside, it became a way to pass time indoors. On clear nights, I imagine the stars would be stunningly visible. Dinner consisted of course meals and everything tasted delicious! Although I knew this when making my reservation, breakfast offered only one option: Western-style with fried eggs as the main dish. Since this is not a large hotel catering to many guests, having no buffet is understandable (and I personally don’t prefer buffets). However, I would have loved an option for Japanese-style breakfast. On October 19th during our stay, there was one tree within the property showing autumn colors already turning red. By November, you can likely enjoy vibrant red and yellow foliage. This accommodation is perfect for those looking forward to enjoying onsen and meals here—thank you very much!

This was my first time staying here, and honestly, it was outstanding. The moment I walked up the hill and stepped onto the villa grounds, I was captivated by the unique look of each building and the wonderfully refreshing views. Inside the villa, everything was spotless. A welcome drink was prepared, and the refrigerator was packed with an overflowing selection of complimentary beverages. I couldn’t help but say out loud, “This is amazing…” We also got to let our children experience farming activities—they were thrilled to harvest eggplants and green peppers. Feeding the chickens and hearing about how they’re raised was also a valuable experience. A couple of notes: there are no convenience stores or supermarkets nearby, so I recommend buying what you need in advance. Also, there generally isn’t a microwave in the Room, but when we called the management building and asked, they brought one over and set it up for us. We will definitely stay again! It was so good that I want it to become popular—but at the same time, part of me doesn’t want it to get too popular (lol).

We chose to stay here as it was difficult to use a Ryokan due to our large family. The Facility and equipment were very well-maintained and clean. The children had a great time playing table tennis and basketball, but please note that the Room for these activities does not have air conditioning, so be cautious of heatstroke. For dinner, we purchased ingredients around Odawara and enjoyed a BBQ. It was a very enjoyable experience. There were two baths available; however, one of them did not provide Onsen water, so we deducted one star from our rating. Other than that, we had a very comfortable stay. Despite being in the mountains, Yamato Transport provided same-day delivery service for luggage like clothes, making everything smooth and convenient. Right in front of Lake Kussharo—an unbeatable location. Rera is built diagonally in front of Fre, so you may be a bit aware of each other’s presence, and I did wonder what it would feel like if someone walked by while I was in the bath. The view from the second floor is simply stunning. The ingredients for the meals are luxurious and delicious, but unfortunately the wine selection didn’t match our taste (it would have been nice if at least the grape varieties were listed). Despite the overall great sense of style, there were some everyday-looking items like hand soap placed in the washroom, which slightly took away from the atmosphere. There was a faint damp smell on the towels, and the indoor slippers felt too ordinary—disposable ones might actually be better.

Opening the front door reveals an ocean view, and the Room has been beautifully renovated—clean, spacious, and wonderful. However, there was a lot of dog hair from a previous guest on the floor and sofa. The stick vacuum was out of charge, so we used the provided lint roller to clean. There was no liquid left for the vape-type insect repellent. Also, since there is no night light on the second floor, a stand light had been provided as an alternative, but it was broken. The floors did not feel thoroughly cleaned, which was a bit disappointing. The BBQ grill didn’t seem to get hot enough—at first I thought it might be broken, though now I think it may have been due to how it’s operated. That said, the area is a quiet residential neighborhood with a supermarket nearby. The view from the windows is amazing—you can see the sea—and at night the stars are beautiful. Most cooking utensils and seasonings are provided. There’s no TV service, but Wi-Fi is available and you can project Netflix and other content onto the wall for a home-theater experience. The interior has been renovated; upstairs is set up as bedrooms; and both the toilet and bath are very clean. The air conditioning works well. The best part by far is the continuously flowing open-air bath: both the indoor bath and open-air bath are natural Onsen. The round open-air bath is about 160 cm in diameter and can fit three people comfortably. It helped us forget everyday life and truly relax. We also appreciated receiving a paella meal kit as a seasonal perk—thank you for your thoughtful hospitality. We booked again because we trust that making a Reservation through IKYU won’t disappoint. Overall, it was very good—a wonderful time—and our dog enjoyed it too.

An Onsen Hotel with the feel of a Resort Hotel in an unbeatable location. So comfortable you’ll want a Multiple Night Stay. The homemade touch at breakfast is outstanding. Once you stay, you’re sure to become a fan. I’d definitely like to stay again.

Your wife’s cooking was absolutely delicious. We stayed for two nights, and the beef stew on the second night was so tender it fell apart. You even added rice to the leftover stew, and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner. The breakfast bread was also excellent, and the homemade jam was fantastic. It seems some of the ingredients were freshly harvested from your field as well—thank you for all your hard work in the heat, including weeding. You also saw us off on our departure until our car turned the corner. Thank you very much!

We stayed here at short notice so my son could attend a rugby training camp. Even with rising prices and during summer vacation, we were able to stay at a great rate—with dinner and breakfast included. Dinner (including chicken hot pot) came with an all-you-can-drink option, and we left completely satisfied. Breakfast was also just the right amount. The Onsen temperature was perfect as well. One thing that concerned me was the surroundings—not the building itself, but the area around it. It’s a shame, because the food and Onsen are excellent. With a bit of tidying up, I think it would feel much nicer. The scenery really matters—atmosphere and charm, too. With hopes for improvement, I’d like to stay again. Thank you as well for accommodating my son when his plan suddenly changed to No Meals Included.

After climbing Mt. Inaboshi in Kuju as a couple, we stayed here. It rained throughout the hike and we got quite cold, but after coming down, soaking in the warm Onsen, enjoying our favorite beer, and having a delicious course meal was the best. We were comforted by the warm hospitality of the couple who run this Accommodation. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.
