It was a wonderful villa. Mount Fuji was right in front of us, and we could see it clearly thanks to the great weather! The meals were all delicious, and we were very satisfied! We brought our dog along, and they had so much fun playing around. We would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

We stayed again this year for my husband’s birthday. We were able to relax in the wonderful lounge and enjoy a luxurious time while taking in the beautiful view of the Imperial Palace Outer Gardens. Even though we hadn’t mentioned it this time, they celebrated his birthday, which made us very happy. This is a favorite Hotel we want to visit again and again, thanks to their thoughtful attention to detail.

We stayed here as a family of four during summer vacation. We chose the No Meals Included plan because we planned to enjoy street food along Dogo Onsen’s Haikara Street, and it turned out to be an outstanding stay: everything was spotless, the Onsen was excellent, the futons were very comfortable, and access to Haikara Street was great. Above all, the staff worked seamlessly as a team and responded quickly and courteously—it was truly impressive. Our whole family agreed we were lucky to find such a wonderful Accommodation. This time we booked No Meals Included, but the Ryokan meals also looked delicious, so next time we’d like to stay with meals included. It’s an Accommodation we would definitely love to visit again. Staying at the Tokyo Station Hotel had been a long-held dream, and it was even more wonderful than I imagined. From our Dome-side room, we could watch the flow of passengers coming and going through the ticket gates, and enjoy unique features of Tokyo Station such as the original brick walls preserved since its construction. Despite its rich history, not only the guest room but also the corridors and shared areas were impeccably cleaned—beautiful, spotless, and truly impressive. The staff’s service was also outstanding, allowing us to enjoy a flawless stay. The bathroom was spacious and relaxing, and breakfast was delicious as well. We stayed to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, and we were deeply touched by the warm hospitality—preparing a commemorative gift for us and taking photos to present as a keepsake. Thank you for giving us such wonderful memories.

Everything was spotless, and we had a very comfortable stay. The food was excellent—especially the sashimi, which was thick and delicious. It even included fugu sashimi, with my favorite skin served on the side, so I was completely satisfied. The bath was also thoroughly cleaned and truly pleasant to use. This time we couldn’t try the nearby Ryokan hot-spring tour, but we’d definitely like to do it next time.

It was two days full of surprise and inspiration. I only knew it was a museum Hotel, and to be honest, I came mainly for Briance—but it truly felt like an actual museum. Even while exploring the building, the staff kindly provided detailed explanations, which made it even more enjoyable. Every piece is one of a kind, and through the art tour program we also received in-depth commentary. I understood why so many guests return again and again, and it made me want to explore even more myself. The Room was very comfortable and easy to use, the lounge food was delicious, and even though we had dinner at Briance—the original purpose of our visit—we ended up fully enjoying the bar and lounge as well. The wonderful smiles and thoughtful hospitality from all the staff were outstanding, allowing us to spend a truly relaxing holiday. Thank you very much. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed Briance as well.

Once again, we had a wonderful time and were able to relax. We enjoyed the beautiful night view from the Aqua Lounge, and lunch at Rendez-Vous was also delicious. As always, all of the staff were very kind and friendly, and every time my mother and I say, “That’s the Imperial Hotel.” Ever since we held our wedding here 35 years ago, it has been our favorite Hotel. We will visit again.

This was our first time staying here as three generations, and we truly enjoyed it. We were impressed by the building, the location, and the furnishings inside. Everything was provided—kitchen equipment, amenities, and more—and we were amazed at how well-equipped the Facility was. Each Room was spacious and had its own toilet and shower, and even with a group of 10 people, we were able to relax comfortably in the kitchen and living area. The children also loved having a kids’ Room on the second floor, running around in the garden, catching insects, and playing by the shore. The BBQ ingredients you prepared for us were fresh, plentiful, and delicious. Breakfast was also well-balanced and very tasty. We stayed for only one night this time, but our whole family is already talking about coming back for a Multiple Night Stay next time. Thank you very much for your kindness!

This was my first stay since the COVID-19 pandemic. They upgraded our Room, and the service had improved wonderfully as well. I stay on the club floor every time, and I could feel the staff’s thoughtfulness in every detail, making my time comfortable both in the lounge and in the Room. The lounge food was delicious, and the Chinese cuisine at Hoshigaoka was also excellent. The Chinese tea in particular was outstanding—I wanted to buy some to take home, but it wasn’t available for sale, which was disappointing. I would like to stay again for next year’s vacation. This time I stayed without breakfast, but everything was truly excellent, from the Room cleaning to the amenities and the front desk service. Although more foreign-owned Hotels are increasing in Japan, JAL-affiliated Hotels are reasonably priced, and the food at most of their Hotels is very delicious, so I am satisfied. I quietly think their rival might be JR-affiliated Hotels.

This was my long-awaited trip to Huis Ten Bosch. I considered staying at one of the official Hotels inside the park, but chose this Hotel for its extensive Facilities, the large number of positive Reviews, and the reassurance of the Okura brand. Even before arriving at the main entrance by car, I was overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the building’s exterior. The stunning stepped atrium from the 1st to 3rd floors also set an exciting tone for a truly luxurious stay. The female bell staff member was exceptionally polite and kind, saying, “We’ll take your luggage up via a separate elevator, so please go ahead to your Room.” When I entered, there was an adorable teddy bear on the table by the window. The message card read, “Happy Birthday,” and since it was my birthday month, it was such a delightful surprise! She also wished me a happy birthday in person, which really moved me. From my Room we could see not only Huis Ten Bosch but also views out to open water—an amazing panorama. It was during the Obon holiday period so there must have been many guests staying, yet thanks to how spacious the Hotel is overall, it never felt crowded. Above all else, every staff member’s attentive service stood out. I’ve stayed at many Hotels and usually find something to complain about somewhere—but this time there wasn’t a single issue, and I enjoyed every moment in complete comfort. While this is clearly a Hotel designed with visits to Huis Ten Bosch in mind, once you cross the bridge there’s also a JR station (remarkably close to the waterfront), so on day two we took the train and went as far as Sasebo. It’s also very useful as a base for sightseeing in Nagasaki City or Sasebo. The breakfast buffet had an excellent variety with plenty of both Japanese and Western options—I ended up eating far too much. This was my first time visiting Nagasaki and Huis Ten Bosch, and it became an unforgettable trip full of wonderful memories. Next time I’d love to stay longer—this truly is an outstanding Hotel. I stayed one night in a Deluxe King room by myself. All of the hoteliers were very kind and happily responded to my questions and requests, so I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The view from the Room was so beautiful that I could have watched it forever, and I instantly changed my plans and decided to spend the day relaxing inside the Hotel. Since I live far away, if I ever need Accommodation in Tokyo again, I will choose this place. I can confidently recommend it to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful memory.

This time, I stayed in a Heritage balcony Room. I wondered if it might be too hot this season, but the evening breeze was pleasant, and I was able to relax with drinks from room service. For dinner, I dined at Toh-Ka-Lin, and the next morning I had breakfast at Nouvelle Epoque. Everything—from delicious dining to the gym, spa, and pool—was available within the Hotel, so I could truly unwind and enjoy a genuinely luxurious stay. The entire property was clean and quiet throughout, and the staff’s hospitality struck the perfect balance: not too close or too distant, yet always attentive with thoughtful care. An unexpected issue came up during my stay, but even then the Hotel team responded with kindness and meticulous consideration. It reminded me once again of how exceptional Japanese Hotels are—especially Okura. I would love to visit again.

This was our first stay on the Club Floor in two years, and thanks to your courteous and pleasant service from check-in onward, we had a very comfortable time. Maybe it’s Okinawa, maybe it’s The Terrace Hotels—either way, the juice in this lounge always tastes especially delicious. We also visited the newly introduced nightcap service, and it was wonderful to relax after dinner with coffee at Maroad. There were piano performances on both nights; each pianist arranged familiar tunes from Studio Ghibli and Disney that anyone can enjoy, and my wife and I had fun listening while guessing the song titles. A lounge staff member who assisted us two years ago even remembered us—just as my wife and I had hoped—and we truly enjoyed chatting together. This time we also used the gym and La Sima for the first time, and my wife was delighted, saying, “This was our most enjoyable stay at The Naha Terrace ever!” Thank you again to all of your staff. We look forward to seeing you again next year.

This was my third stay. They responded quickly even to sudden changes. The staff are always very kind, and both the Room and the entire building are thoroughly cleaned, so I was able to spend my time in a clean and comfortable environment. I also relaxed while enjoying the greenery in the park visible from the Room, as well as in the large public bath inside the Accommodation. Dinner was also very delicious. I was very satisfied again this time, and I was especially happy that my mother enjoyed it as well. I will stay again in winter. Thank you very much again.

I have been staying here for some time, and recently I always stay for three nights. Each time, the property is quiet and thoroughly cleaned throughout. The wonderful, delicious meals were excellent, and both the open-air bath and the large public bath were spotless. The background music was also pleasant. The Room has two rooms with a veranda, and it was the perfect size for just my spouse and me. The staff’s service was also good.

This is a well-established, reliable Hotel in Amami. There is an Onsen on the top floor, and soaking in the open-air bath while taking in a panoramic view of Naze Port washes away your fatigue. From your Room, the ocean is right in front of you. The sea below has coral reefs, and tropical fish—even Nemo and friends—swim by. The staff are kind and always make you feel comfortable, so it feels like coming home. Whenever I visit Amami, I spend one night here and have dinner at Yani. Resting while looking out over Amami’s sea from your Room feels wonderful, and in the morning you can relax over breakfast with views of the garden and ocean—this is a Hotel that leaves you feeling refreshed.

The staff were very kind. The Room was clean overall and very comfortable to stay in. When I asked for a soft drink, they prepared a different variety than expected, which surprised me—in a great way! I was really happy. There was a small kitchen, so it was convenient for light cooking. Also, there was an excellent selection of face wash and skincare items like toner, which was great. The bed was fluffy and the pillows were soft, making it very comfortable to sleep. I also appreciated having a Nintendo Switch available—it was really fun! There were so many services, and everything was fantastic. I’d definitely like to stay again!

The sea of clouds from the Room was truly magical and wonderful. Unfortunately, it rained, but it had a lovely atmosphere, which we also enjoyed. Not only was the hospitality excellent, but we were especially impressed by the size and comfort of the bath towels. We would love to visit again as an occasional treat. Thank you very much.

Obuse, the town of Hokusai and chestnuts, is known for its beautiful streetscape that feels almost like a theme park. We arrived a little early by car, so we visited Gansho-in Temple and Jokoji Temple before heading to Masuichi Kyakuden. The ceiling painting at Gansho-in—Katsushika Hokusai’s “Phoenix Glancing in All Directions”—was truly breathtaking. As soon as we pulled up in front of Masuichi Kyakuden, a staff member came right out and efficiently carried our luggage inside. The highly sought-after “Chestnut Dessert Suzaku,” which is notoriously difficult to secure, will be offered from 9/10 this year. Because guests staying at Masuichi Kyakuden receive priority guaranteed access, it becomes even harder to make an Accommodation Reservation for stays from 9/10 onward. Since our stay was before then, making a Reservation was easy. Stepping inside Masuichi Kyakuden, you’re immediately enveloped by the stately atmosphere of the kura storehouse building. Our Room was on the second floor; we chose the Relax Twin style. Despite being in a kura-style structure, it also has a terrace, with plenty of natural light and an open feel. There are also more traditional, calmer kura-style Rooms available; however, we were told they are designed with high ceilings to avoid any sense of confinement. Designed by architect John Morford, the Room is fully Western-style with extensive use of stainless steel—its glass-and-stainless bath is well worth seeing. Amenities are L’Occitane; the refrigerator includes complimentary drinks; plus coffee and tea—everything you’d expect from a high-end Ryokan-style stay is provided, making the Room very comfortable. For dinner, we walked about three minutes to Obusedo Honten (part of the same Masuichi group). Every dish showcased the head chef’s experience and refined sensibility. The soup course, simmered dishes, and grilled items had a Kyoto kaiseki influence—above all else, the dashi was exceptional. The sashimi was fresh and perfectly seasoned as well. Local ingredients were used throughout for very high satisfaction overall. One note: the first items served—lightly dressed Kurakake beans and Matsumae-zuke—are not part of the course menu itself (just so you know). They’re clearly intended as snacks with alcohol—especially sake brewed by Masuichi Ichimura Sake Brewery within the same group—and both paired beautifully with their sake: firm Kurakake beans soaked in elegant dashi alongside Matsumae-zuke packed with rich seafood umami made each sip even better than before. In autumn Obuse becomes all about chestnuts; while we couldn’t try “Chestnut Dessert Suzaku,” we did get to enjoy “Mont Blanc Suzaku,” a Western-inspired take on Suzaku. It’s available at their affiliated shop “Entotsu.” We nearly gave up due to long lines but learned that overnight guests can make Reservations—so we were able to enjoy it without waiting. If you stay at Masuichi Kyakuden, be sure to indulge in one of their “Suzaku”-style chestnut sweets if you can. Overall it was an outstanding stay—we thoroughly enjoyed Obuse from start to finish.
