I had a very comfortable 3-day, 2-night stay in a quiet setting. The meals were delicious, and the nightly mini concerts in the lobby were truly relaxing. As I was traveling solo, it wasn’t cheap, but the Facility and the quality of the cuisine more than justified it. If I had to mention one thing, the toilet paper in the Room was thin and a bit inconvenient to use. It was a wonderful and comfortable Hotel that will likely make me want to return again in summer.

We stayed at Chalet Ivy Jozankei for our honeymoon. When we arrived, we were a little surprised by the steep downhill slope, but a staff member quickly came over and helped carry our luggage, which was a huge help. The mango tea served at check-in was delicious, and we felt warmly welcomed. All of the staff were kind and attentive, and together with the calm atmosphere throughout the Hotel, it made for a truly relaxing stay both physically and mentally. The lounge had a wonderful view, and since it was relatively quiet, we were able to enjoy window seats many times. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent and very satisfying. We used the bath in our Room about four or five times, and the public bath was often quiet as well, so we could take our time enjoying a relaxing soak on our own. Even after check-out, they drove us to the bus stop, and we were impressed by their thoughtful service down to every detail. Thanks to the heartfelt hospitality of the staff and the comfortable Facility environment, it was an exceptionally fulfilling stay. We would love to stay again.

With the heat being so intense, we decided to take it easy at our Accommodation on this trip and chose Fufu Kyoto, which we had wanted to stay at for a long time. Even though we arrived late, we truly appreciated you coming out to welcome us in the heat. Every staff member greeted us politely, and from start to finish we were able to spend our time in complete comfort. In the Room, cold tea was prepared for us, which was a relief after arriving. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided in just the right way, and we were able to stay without any inconvenience. The meals in particular were carefully crafted with seasonal dishes down to the smallest details; they were delicious, and both of my parents were very satisfied. We were also grateful to receive cold water when departing. We are glad we chose this Accommodation. Thank you very much.

I stayed for two nights starting July 22. This time, my Room faced the Nasu mountain range, so the view was wonderful. The meals were delicious again. Since this was my second stay in July, you kindly changed the menu for me. Next time, I’ll visit with my children and their family.

We had to cancel our Okinawa trip due to a typhoon. Then I remembered Iojima, which my husband’s mother had recommended, and looked it up. Because it was last-minute, the only availability was a BBQ Plan in a dog-friendly Room, but we made a Reservation anyway—and it turned out to be amazing! We don’t have pets, so I worried about odors or hearing dogs from other Rooms, but everything was spotless and we didn’t notice anything at all. The Room also had an ocean view and felt incredibly refreshing. For dinner, we thought two days of BBQ in the summer heat might be too much, so we asked the front desk—just in case—if we could change one day’s meal. They kindly accommodated us, and on the second night we were able to enjoy a course dinner. (This may have been because we originally booked an upgraded option above the standard BBQ.) The BBQ itself was delicious with plenty of variety, and eating while looking out at the sea was fantastic. For breakfast, we could choose from three different restaurants with different menus. Guests could also enjoy complimentary lemon water and chilled tea at various spots around the island. There were lots of activities: sports and games in the gym; ocean athletics and marine sports (extra charge) by the beach; a manga corner near the baths; an indoor pool; Onsen facilities; and even an open-air bath with ocean views. We truly had an incredible three days. Since each area is spread out, you can rent bicycles for free, and there is also a shuttle bus that circulates around the island. All of the Accommodation staff were kind and attentive, helping us create wonderful family memories. Thank you very much.

The service was very thoughtful. The Room was extremely clean, and the amenities were well stocked. It is also very close to Narita Airport, making it highly convenient. This time I used Narita for an early morning flight, so my stay was short, but I would like to relax and spend more time here next time.

The moment we entered the Hotel, it smelled wonderful. Although the Hotel is located in the city, the grounds were quiet. We could see squirrels and woodpeckers visiting the trees in the courtyard, which made our children very happy. Breakfast was great—the salad dressing was especially delicious. The Western-style set came with several kinds of bread, and we appreciated that paper bags were provided so we could take any leftovers with us.

The bright, clean Room was in an Onsen town surrounded by soothing greenery, and we were able to relax and take our time. We stay at various Hotels, but our stay here was truly relaxing both physically and mentally. Time for healing is precious, and we felt it was thanks to the staff’s careful and attentive work. The bath was wonderful, and the meals were absolutely delicious. Thank you for a lovely time.

Thank you very much for your thoughtful hospitality. You even prepared matcha for us, and we enjoyed it very much. The Room and bathroom were clean, and we had a very comfortable stay. The view from the Room was wonderful—we were moved to be able to take in the sea, mountains, and sunrise all at once, accompanied by birdsong. We usually travel to the Hakone area a few times a year as a couple, but this time we stayed one night at “Rinpo Kiryū” for our first family trip, including several celebrations. We have had the chance to visit many Accommodations, but we have never encountered one as outstanding as this—everything from start to finish was truly moving. We arrived about an hour before check-in, yet we were warmly welcomed without hesitation. From a wonderful commemorative photo for our celebration to a heartfelt message card with the photo attached, we were touched by the surprise hospitality and thoughtful care. We are sincerely grateful to have made so many unforgettable memories for our family trip. Thank you very much. Above all, what deserves special mention is the exceptional hospitality of the staff. From greeting us on arrival to seeing us off at the end, every moment was impeccable, allowing us to relax and enjoy unhurried time. Our assigned staff member was genuinely kind and always smiling; we enjoyed our conversations and were deeply impressed by their attentive care down to the smallest details—our whole family was moved. The guidance through the property—like a paradise filled with an extraordinary atmosphere—was also thorough, and everyone we met greeted us with smiles that put us at ease. Our Room was very spacious, beautifully maintained, and spotless. The bed was ideal for us—not too soft and not sinking in—so it was extremely comfortable. (My wife is quite particular about beds and rarely says this at other Accommodations, so I was surprised when she said she wanted to stay another night and didn’t want to go home yet.) During our stay, the Room included its own private open-air bath with free-flowing Onsen sourced directly from 100% natural spring water (no added water or heating)—a superb and rare Dōgashima Onsen often described as “legendary.” We could indulge in Onsen whenever we liked. In addition, there was an indoor hinoki Onsen bath, a private sauna, and even a pool, so our family could enjoy everything together. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious; each dish was beautifully presented with great care, filled with creative ideas and thoughtful touches from the chef. There were also many staff members on hand—the service felt perfect. Based on our past experiences, it’s rare to find an Accommodation where service is this attentive in every respect. More than anything else, being able to stay at “Rinpo Kiryū” became a wonderful experience for our family. Thank you again very much. We would love to visit again.

We stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary trip. The meals were simply outstanding. Not only the food but also the tableware was beautiful, and my wife—who loves dishes—was so inspired that she bought lots of Kutani ware during our sightseeing in Kanazawa the next day. It was my wife’s first time in Kanazawa, and she seems to have fallen in love with the city. With only four Rooms, it was quiet, and the bath was excellent as well. We truly enjoyed a relaxing adults-only getaway. We would love to return again, not just for anniversaries.

We had a very comfortable stay, including the Room, meals (featuring ingredients from Kochi), and the large public bath. The sweet yuzu tea in the post-bath lounge was especially delicious. (It would be even better if it were refilled a bit more often.) Also, when we asked where we could use handheld fireworks, the front desk staff immediately told us that it would be possible near Lawson in Josei Park, about a 5–10 minute walk from the Accommodation (on the concrete-paved area). This was extremely helpful, and our child was able to enjoy fireworks. (We asked at other hotels as well, but couldn’t find out where it was allowed.) Just one point: our child’s dinner was prepared as Western-style, although it seems Japanese-style could also be chosen. If it is selectable, we would appreciate being asked in advance (ideally at the time of Reservation). Since our child prefers Japanese food, we shared from our meal instead. (At check-in, we were told it had already been prepared and changing it would require remaking it with an additional charge.) Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and would definitely like to use this Accommodation again on our next visit to Kochi. (A small detail: the in-room refrigerator had a freezer function, which really helped us refreeze ice packs.)

Everything was excellent. The hostess’s hospitality was especially wonderful. The staff also kindly introduced us to local spots and were very helpful, so we were able to fully enjoy Nagano. The Onsen was very relaxing, and the meals were truly delicate, beautifully presented, and delicious throughout. There was no excessive service like at a luxury Ryokan, which made it very comfortable. We would love to stay again when we visit Matsumoto.

Thank you again for your gracious hospitality. We also truly appreciate the gift of rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles for our grandchild. We were able to relax at leisure in the natural hot spring waters of Harazuru Onsen, and the meals—especially breakfast—were excellent. If the rate were a little more affordable, this is an Accommodation we would love to visit more often. Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay.

My grandchild fell asleep during dinner, and the staff kindly prepared a chair that could also be used as a baby bed, which was very helpful. Thank you very much. The front desk staff were also courteous and made us feel welcome. If I had to mention anything, it might have been even better if there had been a pleasantly scented air freshener in the hallway leading to the pet rooms. Also, since we brought two Yorkshire Terriers, it would have been nice to have a few more pet amenities available.

After finally arriving through heavy rain on this trip, we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. The meals were served in a calm lounge, and we could really feel the care put into each dish. The Onsen was wonderful, but unfortunately, due to torrential rain severe enough to trigger warnings, the water temperature dropped on the morning of the second day. We were especially disappointed that we couldn’t use the bath in our Room. With expressways closed, sightseeing wasn’t possible at all, so we’d like to come back next time for a retry. The Accommodation is a pleasant, clean Hotel, and all of the staff were very kind.

This was my first visit. Perhaps due to the season, there were no guests with children, and the Accommodation was very quiet. When I stayed at other Kyukamura properties in the past, most guests were families, so I was used to a lively atmosphere; it made me wonder whether it is usually this quiet here. The calmness was truly pleasant. The staff’s hospitality was excellent, which also made my stay very comfortable. The meals were delicious, and I enjoyed them at a relaxed pace. I would also like to thank the staff member who kindly joined me on short notice and enthusiastically helped with my search for shimaenaga (long-tailed tits). I’m happy to have found another Accommodation I’d like to visit again. Thank you for a wonderful time.

The welcome herbal water drink was delicious—absolutely amazing!! This is truly a tropical paradise, a Resort Hotel. The view from the ocean-view Room was breathtaking—it really felt like “time, please stop!” As we left the Hotel from the parking lot, a handsome front desk staff member waved goodbye, which left a wonderful impression. It was an excellent Hotel that made us want to come back.

We stayed here on a trip with a family we know, and it was wonderful as always. We’ve stayed several times, so both my wife and I can relax with peace of mind—this is our favorite hot spring Accommodation. The family staying with us was also very satisfied, making it the perfect vacation. Since one of our group had difficulty walking, we truly appreciate you accommodating our various requests.
