I stayed here with my uncle and aunt for the first time in four years. We enjoyed table tennis inside the Accommodation, and were able to relax in the large public bath. Dinner was a buffet with fresh seafood, a wide variety of dishes, and excellent sushi. There was also a great selection of alcoholic drinks, which made both my uncle and my husband very happy. The rice balls at breakfast were outstanding as well. We’re already talking about coming back again soon. The staff were also very kind and helpful. Thank you very much.

I usually stay as a couple, but this time I stayed alone and have trouble with my legs. I was a little anxious, but thanks to your thoughtful support I was able to stay comfortably. I am truly grateful. The Grand Hotel is still the most relaxing and my favorite.

Located just a short distance from Horyu-ji Temple, the building was new and very clean. As there were few guests on the day of our stay, we were upgraded to the West Wing. The bath was at a perfect temperature, and breakfast the next morning was delicious—this was our favorite Accommodation of the trip. On the Horyu-ji tour, the guide’s explanations were excellent, and the two hours flew by. This is an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again. It truly became a valuable and memorable journey.

This was my second stay this year because I particularly enjoyed the food last time. Originally a bank's retreat, the compact front desk and building layout reflect its history. There is no greeting upon arrival, luggage assistance, or farewell service (you carry your luggage to the third-floor front desk yourself and leave on your own). However, I appreciate the stunning ocean view from the hilltop location and the cozy atmosphere with only 10 rooms. The Onsen features a 78-degree natural hot spring source, with a slightly small but pleasant open-air bath and high-quality massage chairs. This time, I stayed in a Western-style room near the elevator that was added later; it was spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds. The only downside was that the sink and toilet were adjacent without separation—though it did provide an open feel upon reflection. Dinner could only be enjoyed at the restaurant (unlike last time when in-room dining allowed for more relaxation), which was disappointing as wearing loungewear is not permitted—I would have preferred to dine in a relaxed atmosphere in loungewear. Starting February next year, dinner times will shift to two seatings; however, I hope they maintain flexibility like now where you can choose every 30 minutes. The food met expectations—delicious despite not using particularly expensive ingredients—with intricate sauces and beautiful presentation that truly felt like fine cuisine. Breakfast also offered plenty of variety and quality. Before dinner at the lounge, I ordered Royal Milk Tea which was so delicious that I ordered it again in the morning while enjoying an elegant atmosphere with ocean views through large windows. A staff member kindly offered to take my photo during this time while explaining distant scenery details—a friendly gesture that elevated my impression of this accommodation’s overall service level. Its convenient distance from Osaka makes me want to visit again!

My husband, his older sister, and her grandchild—three seniors—visited with our first-year junior high school son. My husband and I also stayed here seven years ago. The weather looked uncertain that day, so we moved our ropeway plans to the next day and arrived early. We were able to use the Onsen and relax until check-in, enjoying the Onsen at a leisurely pace. The food was beautifully prepared, and everyone was impressed. My koji class instructor uses the phrase “food that feels good on your stomach,” and this was exactly that. My sister-in-law is 83 and kept saying how delicious everything was; even though she said she couldn’t possibly eat that much, she finished it all. Breakfast was also enjoyable with both a bento option and a buffet. Our Room had been renovated and was very clean. All of the staff were young, energetic, and refreshing. Their language was polite as well, and we had a very pleasant two-day stay. I mentioned this while chatting with the staff—and then carelessly added that “everyone is cute,” which I now regret as an inappropriate comment about appearance.

Since it’s just one stop from Tokyo Station on the Sobu Rapid Line, I initially wondered if the access might be a bit inconvenient. However, after past experiences feeling overwhelmed by large groups of foreign tourists, I thought it might actually be quieter—and chose this hotel. It turned out to be absolutely the right choice. The Room was spacious enough for two people, and the large public bath was roomy and spotless. It was pleasantly uncrowded at just the right times, so we enjoyed it both at night and in the morning. At night, there was no noise from nearby rooms, and I was able to relax and sleep well. The standout feature was breakfast. These days it’s rare to see so many staff members on hand—everyone worked efficiently while greeting guests warmly. Both the side dishes and rice were delicious. A chef at the Japanese food station served corn takikomi rice and recommended their shaved ice as well, mentioning that even the syrups were homemade. I had matcha syrup with condensed milk, and my friend had Kaga roasted hojicha syrup with condensed milk. The ice was wonderfully fluffy, the syrups were rich in flavor, and the condensed milk had a clean sweetness—it was honestly the best shaved ice I’ve ever had. The front desk staff were also kind, efficient, and a pleasure to interact with. I’ll definitely stay here again when my friend visits Tokyo next time. Thank you very much.

This was my second stay. I thought it was amazing last time, but this time was even better!! The building is very clean, and everything is spotless wherever you look. The eggplant soup at dinner was shockingly delicious!! The crispy grilled tilefish is unbelievably good no matter how many times I have it. All the staff were smiling, kind, and attentive. We really appreciated all the thoughtful help during both dinner and breakfast. On our way out, a gentleman who seemed to be the manager was also very helpful—I can’t thank you enough. This is an Accommodation I can recommend to everyone. Thank you very much. We’ll be back again.

I’m a repeat guest who visits whenever the dining menu changes, and no matter how many times I stay, this Hotel always feels special—comfortable, never boring, and a perfect escape from everyday life. This time, just before the menu changed, I had the FIJI course at OYAMA. Every dish was outstanding: six beautifully crafted courses made with carefully selected ingredients and skillful techniques, plus dessert—all delicious. As always, the staff’s timing and attentive yet natural service made the meal truly enjoyable.

Soaking in the gentle hot water was truly soothing, and the delicious cuisine (the broth was exceptionally good) was a delight. The riverside scenery, including the sand bath, was beautiful as well—an outstanding Accommodation. Above all, the hostess’s hospitality was exceptional. This is an Accommodation I highly recommend and would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

Although it was a stay at the end of summer, it became the perfect finale to our summer vacation. The Accommodation was spotless, the Room was spacious and comfortable, and the view of the Tenryu River from the Room was outstanding. The meals were also highly refined: themed as “Tenryukyo Jukkyō” in connection with “Tenryukyo Tokachi,” they offered a richly satisfying course in both quality and quantity—from soba at the start to grilled eggplant, snow trout sashimi, broiled carp kabayaki, ayu sweetfish, filet meat, and shiso sorbet. It rained on the day we stayed, but by the next morning it somehow held up, so we took about an hour’s walk along the river before breakfast. The scenery from the suspension bridge is an irreplaceable beauty. I felt this is an Accommodation where everything—the Facility, service, food, and location—is exceptional. Next time I would like to visit during the autumn foliage season.

We had another wonderful stay. No matter which Fufu Accommodation we visit, we are always delighted by the consistently heartfelt hospitality and the truly careful, delicious cuisine. At Fufu Hakone this time as well, we were soothed by the warm welcome from all the staff and were able to enjoy a relaxing, luxurious time. An Accommodation that makes you want to come back—Fufu is still number one for me. This time, we also made use of a wonderful IKYU benefit, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I am truly grateful for this special opportunity. We will do our best in everyday life and look forward to coming back to Fufu again. Thank you very much.

We stayed here for my wife’s birthday trip. We’ve traveled to many places together, and honestly, this was the best so far. We’re both not good with the summer heat, so we were a little worried about traveling in midsummer, but it was truly comfortable, and my wife said for the first time that she wants to come back! It was a wonderful Accommodation that made me want to return as well. Thank you for your kind and attentive service from check-in to check-out.

I stayed for five nights and was able to relax in the Onsen. I love the atmosphere of Hakodate and visit a few times a year. I used to regularly stay at S or R near the warehouse district, but after trying this Hotel, I found it very reasonably priced and the breakfast (both Japanese and Western) was excellent. The staff were also very kind, which made me feel at ease. The large public bath has free-flowing natural hot spring water, and there is also a sauna—no wonder it’s becoming so popular. I will be staying again from October 4th to 8th.

My daughter and I stayed here together. We had a luggage issue before arriving at the Hotel and ended up arriving an hour late for dinner, but you kindly accommodated us, for which we are truly grateful. For the meal, although it was already past the time when it would normally have been served as a boxed meal, you were considerate enough to serve us as planned, and I was nearly moved to tears. Every dish was not only beautifully presented but also thoughtfully prepared with seasonal ingredients and flavors that guests of any age can enjoy. The seasoning and portions were just right, and everything was truly delicious. We chose the plan with breakfast included, and it was very lavish—yet never heavy—and before we knew it, we had finished everything. The rice was especially delicious; my daughter and I even said afterward that we should have asked for seconds. The Onsen bath was very clean, and it felt so wonderful that we forgot all about the day’s troubles. We also used the open-air bath; since it was a full moon that night, we enjoyed a blissful time soaking while looking at the moon peeking through the trees. The Room was very spacious, with a Japanese-style room plus a separate bedroom with beds. It’s a layout where you can relax in comfort in the Japanese-style room and then sleep soundly in bed afterward—something guests of any age can enjoy. Above all else, every member of staff provided outstanding service. When we arrived at Kinugawa Onsen Station there were hardly any taxis available, and we were worried about whether we could reach the Hotel on foot along dark roads. You picked us up by car from the station, which helped us tremendously. You also drove us to the station again the next day—thank you so much. Thanks to you, we made our scheduled train on time. Your kindness in every respect truly moved us. There are many Ryokan out there and we have stayed at several before, but this is a Hotel where we were satisfied with everything: staff service, cuisine, baths, and Rooms. This time it was only one night because there were other places we wanted to visit as well; however, if we travel to the Nikko area again next time, we will definitely choose this Hotel. And since we had your wonderful food rather hurriedly this time due to our late arrival (laugh), next time I’d like to arrive on schedule and savor each dish more slowly. Every year, we stay once in late August and once more at another time. My wife and I use this Accommodation mainly for golf, and we are extremely satisfied overall: we can enjoy a great round on an excellent course, the set-course dinners (Chinese and Japanese) at the Exiv main building are delicious, and all staff provide outstanding service. There are also Korean guests, but it is mainly Japanese guests, so it is very comfortable. We would like to keep staying here for many years to come.

I was happy to be able to celebrate my birthday here again this year. Not only was the Room wonderful, but the meals were delicious, and the staff’s hospitality was excellent—I’m always grateful. The towel cake in the Room and the mago chazuke I had been hoping to try made it even more special. I had a truly lovely time. Thank you very much.

I stayed here with my husband while I was pregnant. One morning, we woke up unusually early and took a walk together to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. The location is excellent, and I think it’s ideal for sightseeing. The lounge was also very comfortable. I recommend staying in a Room with a large bath!

Having visited Yoko no Kaze before, we stayed here this year. Our family has grown, and our daughter-in-law joined us as well. They kindly prepared Rooms next to each other for us. At Kumoba Terrace, we took our time enjoying alcohol and fresh juice, and the lit bonfire and birch forest were truly soothing. In the spacious, clean Room, we relaxed in the Onsen brought from Ueda City. The cuisine was outstanding—seasonal and beautifully presented. We enjoyed everything from the scallop takikomi rice to dessert, though the portions were a bit large for me. As it was our daughter-in-law’s birthday month, we requested a surprise message plate. She was very happy, which made us glad as well. Thanks to the thoughtful staff, we were able to add another precious family memory. Thank you very much.
