Stayed for one night with the dinner-included indulgent Plan before a hike. Dinner was a Japanese course meal, and each dish was meticulously prepared. The chef's dedication came through, and it was delicious. I finished everything, feeling completely full and satisfied. The Onsen water is clear but constantly flows into the bath, overflowing continuously—definitely great for the skin. Room amenities only included a toothbrush; the Onsen shampoo was 2-in-1 with conditioner, and the body soap seemed low-quality. While the food and Onsen were excellent, this part felt like a downside. Staff service was excellent.

I stayed for one night. The Room had an ocean view. Despite being November, it was warm thanks to the sunlight. The building might be old, but everything was thoroughly cleaned and felt very comfortable. The drink bar's used glasses were frequently collected, keeping it always clean. During the bath inspection time, the staff worked quickly without being intrusive and even asked about the water temperature, which was very soothing. The water temperature was perfect!

This time, I am using the accommodation for business purposes. It includes two meals. Dinner consists of various ingredients served in small portions on individual plates, each with excellent seasoning that enhances the dining experience. Unlike typical buffets where you serve yourself and may end up taking too much and leaving leftovers, here each plate is perfectly portioned, allowing you to choose your favorites and enjoy them fully. If you visit Ehime, I highly recommend staying at Uwajima Park Hotel with breakfast and dinner included. The hotel also features a clean public bath where you can stretch out and relax comfortably. It was my first time staying, and it was quiet with meals served in the Room, allowing for a relaxing experience. However, during my Multiple Night Stay, the service on the second day was not satisfactory, with insufficient replenishment of amenities. There were also times when no staff were available, which caused some concern. The semi-open-air bath was nice but not a free-flowing hot spring; it used a circulation system with low water volume and limited temperature control. Since there is no large public bath available, I think it would have been more enjoyable if the water level had been higher and at least partially free-flowing. It’s unfortunate because it’s such a great location where one can relax quietly.

There is an accommodation located just up the hill of Shiroyama at the eastern edge of the grid-like town. The narrow and steep approach road is one-way, so there’s no need to worry about oncoming traffic. Even large buses were able to make their way up. Although the entrance area of the accommodation is narrow, once you unload your luggage, valet service will take care of parking your car. Walking downhill from the accommodation leads to a main tourist spot, and it’s also conveniently close to the station, making it a great base for exploring. The interior is spacious with intricate design details. The staff are kind and attentive in their interactions. The room faces west with no tall trees obstructing the view, offering a wide panorama of the entire town that can be enjoyed both from inside and from the terrace with an open-air bath. (The view may vary depending on room orientation.) The private open-air bath in each room maintains an ideal temperature all day and night; it’s made of stone and spacious enough for a family to enjoy together. A shower room is conveniently adjacent. On our stay date, fireworks lit up Takayama city, which we watched for about an hour while leaning against the terrace railing. Meals are served in semi-private booth-style seating with sunken kotatsu tables. A quiet group of Western guests dined together in a large hall nearby.

What is glamping like? For us, long-time outdoor campers, it was our first time. It was affordable, the tent was warm, and ingredients were available for purchase at reasonable prices; bringing your own was also OK. If there’s one thing to say, it would be perfect if Kuju Onsen were on-site within the Facility. Thank you for the power of nature.

It’s about a 20-minute drive to Takachiho Gorge, but we chose Kijiya because it’s an onsen Accommodation. We had reserved the first boat ride at Takachiho Gorge the next morning, so we stayed with dinner only. Dinner was delicious, with salt-grilled yamame trout, sashimi, tempura, and more. As expected, the onsen was wonderful. We checked out early in the morning, but it’s a great Accommodation where you can truly relax.

The room was very clean, and the front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. However, there is no elevator, so you have to take the stairs to your room, which made carrying luggage difficult.

This is a truly wonderful Accommodation. It is decorated with many artistic handmade pieces that blend seamlessly with the furnishings, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The four indoor baths are set up so you can tell whether each one is “Available” or “In Use,” and they were never all occupied, so we could bathe freely. Two baths are sized for 1–2 people, and the other two are a bit larger with great views. The water feels fantastic. There is also an outdoor bath that you lock from the outside before entering. This open-air bath is simply excellent. You can spend unhurried time surrounded by nature, with plenty of mineral deposits in the water as well. The short walk to get there is lovely too, and various wildflowers welcome you along the way. The owner was very kind, and the hand-dripped coffee was delicious. It’s an Accommodation that makes you want to come back (and feels like coming home).

Stayed in a poolside room with breakfast included during the September holiday. Surrounded by hammocks, tropical flowers, and trees near the pool, we enjoyed even the night pool to our heart's content. Watching the evening sea and catching small waves for surfing early in the morning allowed us to leisurely enjoy breakfast afterward. After check-out, snorkeling at a nearby spot offered views of colorful fish and even an encounter with a long-awaited boxfish, leaving us fully satisfied and grateful to the owner. With an 11:00 AM check-out time, extended breakfast hours, and flexible pool usage times, it's perfect for busy guests as well. Additionally, convenient features like direct access from rooms to the pool and outdoor spaces with warm showers or drying racks for swimsuits made our stay all the more enjoyable.

A historic Ryokan... The front desk area is especially worth seeing. The Room, hallways, and toilets have been renovated. There are plenty of power outlets! Even if you stay as a group, you shouldn’t have any trouble charging various IT devices and other electronics. An affordable stay in a good old Ryokan—an experience you can’t get at a Hotel. Tatami mats and futons are the best! It would be perfect if the bath hours were a little longer. There was a sign saying, “Please ask us about extending bath hours.” If I go to Yokkaichi again, I’d like to stay here again.

I stay here every year. The staff are always kind and wonderful. Thank you as always!

It was conveniently located near Sano Station, convenience stores, and restaurants. The building is old, but it was clean. I had to leave early in the morning and couldn’t have breakfast, which was a shame, but it looked delicious.

The view from the Room was wonderful, with beautiful scenery such as Okazaki Castle and the river. The breakfast selection was extensive, with many healthy options that helped soothe my tired body. The bath also had a great view, and I was able to relax. I would love to stay again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

Although we stayed only one night, we had a very comfortable time. Even though we arrived a little early, the staff kindly accommodated us and lent us snorkeling gear and a pop-up tent free of charge. We enjoyed spending time until evening at the nearest beach, which was beautiful, quiet, and calm. The Facility was well cleaned, and thanks to the peaceful surroundings we were able to relax. The Ishigaki beef burger the next morning was also delicious—I’d like to try making it at home.

We checked in around 9 PM after watching the Tateshina Lake Fireworks Festival. The gracious master warmly welcomed us. Looking at the wall, there was a jazz live poster. It was a pity that we missed a major artist's live performance by just one day. It's wonderful to have such a big band come to a pension, which is quite charming given the location. We used a room for four people with just the two of us, so it was very spacious. The beds were two single-sized ones, very comfortable with excellent cushioning and performance. The bath was a unit bath like in a regular household, with water replaced for each user, and there were two of them. There was plenty of hot water, which was nice. The toilet was shared, but it had a washlet, so there was no inconvenience. For example, there was no trash can or tissue in the room, but there were high-quality paper towels in the washroom. There was also a free lounge with a refrigerator, microwave, and various tableware that could be used freely, making it a very convenient system once you got used to it. It was a cold night with temperatures dropping below 10°C, but the room heater quietly and comfortably warmed the space. Breakfast was served by the owner couple on a single plate, but the salad with plenty of local vegetables was very fresh and delicious. The bread was all-you-can-eat, so those who want to eat a lot are welcome. Considering the price, I think it's a property with excellent cost performance. Next time, I would love to stay for the live performance. I wish the owner couple continued health and success.

The Room size and Facility are very good. After check-in, you go to a separate building, so there is no contact with the staff at all. It seems to have been recently renovated, and there was a strong smell from building materials that made it hard to breathe.
