Perhaps because it was the hot season, the Onsen was pleasantly uncrowded every time we went, which was wonderful! There were many types of baths, and we enjoyed them at a relaxed pace. The Room felt a bit dated and small, but we only needed it for sleeping. The staff were kind, and when we left we even received a handwritten thank-you letter—it truly warmed our hearts. Thank you very much.

With warm smiles and heartfelt hospitality, a beautiful space blending Japanese and Western styles, and gentle Japanese cuisine made with local ingredients, our stay was truly wonderful. The Room is comfortable, combining a Japanese-style room overlooking a beautiful Japanese garden with a cozy bedroom. Thank you for such an exceptionally relaxing time, as if wrapped in a soft, gentle atmosphere.

We were soothed by the attentive service, thoughtful hospitality, and relaxing atmosphere. We were also impressed by each dish and the flow of the course meal, all of which was truly delicious. My wife and I were deeply moved by the dedication of the manager, head chef, and staff, and we were thoroughly satisfied.

I was surprised to find someone else being guided to my seat when I returned after getting food during breakfast. Even though there was an "in use" sign on the table and I had left my salad bowl there.

This was my second stay since 2018. As always, every dish at dinner was delicious, and I was very satisfied. The hospitality was also wonderful, and I truly appreciated the advice for visiting Matsumoto Castle the next day. Thanks to your guidance, we were able to sightsee smoothly without feeling the heat too much. If I have the opportunity again, I would love to stay with you in a different season. We stayed at Kinugawa Onsen “Kizuna” from July 31 to August 2, 2026 (2 nights/3 days). We checked in with two adults, one child, and two Chihuahuas. I thought I had made a Reservation for a Room without an open-air bath, but due to what seemed to be a communication issue, we were instead shown to a Room with an open-air bath (a lucky surprise). Having an open-air bath in the Room meant we could enjoy the Onsen anytime, day or night, and our whole family had a truly happy time. For every meal (breakfast and dinner), we were able to dine in a private room (rather than the usual shared dining area). The menu changed each time, so we looked forward to every meal and headed there excitedly. Each dish was refined and absolutely delicious. With drinks as well, we felt completely satisfied after every meal. By chance, the Nikko Fireworks Festival was held on Saturday, August 8, and we were able to enjoy spectacular fireworks from our Room as well (another lucky moment). Above all else, what made our stay so comfortable was the attentive service from the manager and staff members—and their genuine hospitality in accommodating guests’ requests. That level of professionalism seemed to fill the entire Ryokan, allowing guests to relax completely and enjoy an exceptional experience. For three days, we fully enjoyed an extraordinary getaway both physically and mentally. It may sound childish, but it was such a wonderful Ryokan that I didn’t want to leave—I wanted to stay forever. Everyone in our family kept saying “Let’s come again,” so we will definitely return. My heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who took care of us at “Kizuna.” Thank you very much for everything.

The Room I had wanted to stay in for a long time was just as wonderful as I expected. This meal menu was very good!! If I may be picky, since there is plenty of hot pot, I personally think thinly sliced pork would be easier to eat. I was able to relax again this time. I will visit again.

I visit Karuizawa often, and this Harvest VIALA felt spacious and very comfortable. Both the Facility and the meals were satisfying, and the shop selection was excellent. The other guests were also well-mannered, so it was a place where I could relax and truly refresh. The bedding was comfortable as well, though I would appreciate having a light summer quilt available. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

It was a wonderful stay. It was a hot day, but we had fun exploring by cart even though we were sweating a lot. After that, we used the Onsen in the Hotel building. There were two types of baths, and we really enjoyed both the milky-white water and the other bath as well. The complimentary drinks after the Onsen were also delicious, which made us very happy. Dinner BBQ was tough because, as expected, there were lots of insects drawn to the lights and it was very hot. We cooked outside but ate indoors, which still felt like quite a challenge. However, the food quality and portion size were excellent! I would love it if you could consider offering catering dinner options other than BBQ. Breakfast was beautifully presented, and we enjoyed it both visually and taste-wise. The Room was well stocked with various insect sprays and repellents for bug prevention. The bath area, sink area, and toilet were all spacious and easy to use. Because the sofa is so large, it made the Room feel smaller—so I wondered if it might be unnecessary. That said, it is helpful when four people are staying together. It was a pleasant surprise that a bag with dog treats and dog supplies was provided and could be taken home. It has been extremely useful as our walking bag. With such a large garden and wide wooden deck, it was hard to relax outside during the hot season, so I’d like to visit again in a different season.

Visiting Sendai for the first time in 20 years, I chose to stay at Sakan again, a place full of fond memories.\nThe Onsen and Facility areas have been beautifully renovated, and amenities like ReFa hair dryers made the stay extremely comfortable. What impressed me most was the half-buffet. The beef tongue steak and sea urchin I selected as the main dishes were outstanding—being able to enjoy both meat and seafood so luxuriously left me completely satisfied. The buffet also offered a wide variety of options, with many live-kitchen stations, which made it wonderful to enjoy freshly prepared dishes. There was also an excellent selection of drinks and desserts, keeping me excited throughout.\nIt had been 20 years since my last visit, but it turned into an amazing experience that far exceeded my expectations. I would definitely love to return!

We stayed with a large group, gathering relatives from Ehime and the Kansai area. For our Konpira pilgrimage, the entrance had walking sticks, straw hats, chilled hand towels, and towels prepared, which was very helpful. It was also nice that our grandfather, who wasn’t going to Konpira-san, was allowed to use the lounge before check-in. The indoor bath also had a separate shower room, making it comfortable and relaxing even on rainy or cold days. The Room had a large window, a daybed, and two chairs, so we were able to unwind and relax. Breakfast was an irresistible selection for egg lovers—we really enjoyed it. The only disappointment was the dinner buffet selection. There were a lot of carbohydrates (maybe just local preference), but neither the meat nor fish dishes tasted particularly good, and there wasn’t much we wanted to eat. Still, we were able to relax with drinks again in the lounge afterward, so overall we were satisfied.

The entrance gate was impressive—I could really feel the history and prestige. Our guest Room was a Japanese-style Room, and it had plenty of space for a family of three. It was also nice that they provided a power strip to make up for the lack of outlets, which is common in Japanese-style Rooms. The service was polite, and the staff were attentive, which left a great impression. The bath was natural Onsen water and felt wonderful, but it did feel a bit limited with only one open-air bath in addition to the indoor bath and sauna. We only had breakfast; being able to choose what we liked from the buffet was great, but compared with other Accommodations, the selection felt somewhat limited. The food tasted good. Overall, I have no real complaints—just minor points—so I’m satisfied. I’d love to stay here again when I visit Kochi.

This was our second stay. All the staff provided very courteous service. The meals were delicious, and the Onsen and the entire property were impeccably clean. The views from the restaurant and the top-floor guest room were truly wonderful. There is also a day-use Onsen within easy walking distance, so we were able to enjoy a variety of experiences. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much for everything.

Both the building and the garden are beautifully maintained—truly an Accommodation worthy of its status as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property. At Tenpyo-no-Yu, we were able to relax and enjoy the Onsen while watching the carp. The cuisine may be creative, but in a way it felt fairly ordinary; despite the excellent wasabi served alongside, I didn’t feel the menu was designed to pair well with it. Perhaps because it had to be carried a long distance, some hot dishes arrived cooled, and there were so many items that we ended up leaving some, which was a bit disappointing. I thought it might be nice to have an upgraded course with smaller portions. There are many stairs, so it may be challenging for guests with limited mobility.

Right in front of the canal cruise boarding point. Right in front of the LeTAO shop. Located in the very heart of Otaru sightseeing, we also enjoyed seeing the Asuka III docked at the port—an excellent stay.

The station near Yuigahama is close behind the Hotel, and it’s within walking distance to the sea in the morning, so we were able to enjoy a quiet Yuigahama. The Hotel breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very kind. Hasedera Temple and the Great Buddha are also within walking distance, so I think it’s a great location. Next time I’ll come with friends. Thank you for your hospitality.

Because it’s a small Accommodation, you rarely run into other guests, which makes it excellent for privacy. The exterior is very old. The lobby and hallways have a charming, classic feel—like a traditional Ryokan. But the Room has been properly renovated and is clean. The twin Room even had Simmons reclining beds. The only downside was the token shower booth in the Room and the small toilet, but otherwise it felt perfect. The private open-air bath was also fantastic. Even as the summer heat started to ease, the breeze was wonderfully pleasant. Dinner was an abundant spread of seafood and mountain delicacies, and breakfast with dried horse mackerel was especially good. At the end, the proprietress took a couple’s photo for us. A truly wonderful Accommodation—perfect for a short trip to Izu from around Kanto.

This was our first visit for a birthday anniversary trip. Everything was outstanding. There are only 13 Rooms, and each is a separate, unique detached villa. The interior is thoughtfully designed down to every detail, spacious and comfortable, and the garden is beautifully maintained, making it a very relaxing stay. As Onsen lovers, we barely had time to rest—we fully enjoyed all seven private baths as well as the bath in our Room. There is no large public bath, but there are six private Onsen baths that you can use freely at any time. The water is free-flowing and feels wonderful. The meals were also beautifully presented with great attention to appearance as well as ingredients—decorated with orchids, stunning to look at, and very generous in portion size. From wagyu beef to lobster and shark fin, it was an incredibly luxurious and delicious dining experience. I recommend arriving with a big appetite. The staff’s hospitality and service were excellent too. We were truly glad we chose this place for our anniversary trip—it’s an Accommodation worth visiting even if you have to fly there. I’d love to come back in another season, and I’m also curious about other Rooms, so I’m sure we’ll return. If you’re unsure where to stay, I highly recommend this place.

We stayed here to celebrate our dog’s birthday. The Room was stylish, we could enjoy meals in the Room, the terrace was spacious enough for our dog to run around, and there was even a bath for dogs—best of all, we could stay together the whole time. The meals were surprisingly generous both dinner and breakfast. The staff were very attentive and also gave us sightseeing recommendations we could visit with our dog. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

Shizukatei True to its name, this Accommodation was wonderfully quiet and relaxing, far removed from any hustle and bustle, and surrounded by peaceful rural scenery. The road to the Accommodation was a narrow farm lane where passing other cars required care, but clear signs were placed at key points, and as we got closer, banners guided us along the route. Soba-an I had high expectations for the 80/20 soba served at dinner, but it easily surpassed them—it was exceptionally delicious. In addition, many dishes were prepared using plenty of seasonal vegetables, carefully cooked and beautifully presented. We enjoyed a wide variety of flavors and textures, as well as the visual appeal. Breakfast was also an excellent Japanese set meal with plenty of vegetables and a generous number of dishes. Oshu Hiraizumi Onsen The free-flowing natural Onsen water was a little hot, but we thoroughly enjoyed it together with the open-air bath. Finally, what impressed me most during this stay was the staff. From check-in to being shown to our Room; since dinner was served in-room, their smooth service and efficient delivery; after the meal, clearing everything away and then laying out the futons with equally outstanding efficiency; checkout was completed without any waiting time, and they even came outside to see us off afterward. This was our first visit during Golden Week as part of a family trip service day, and my family was truly happy and satisfied. We were deeply impressed by the professionalism of everyone involved.
