The Room size and Facility are very good. After check-in, you go to a separate building, so there is no contact with the staff at all. It seems to have been recently renovated, and there was a strong smell from building materials that made it hard to breathe.

The elaborate and heartfelt dishes were both visually appealing and delicious. Both the host and hostess were friendly, allowing us to have a very peaceful stay. The exterior and interior are both very charming and lovely, making it a delightful pension.

A solo trip without a car. Although the accommodation is a bit far from the station, the distance was manageable while strolling along Yufuin's Yunotsubo Street. However, the uphill path from the main bus road to the accommodation was steeper and more mountainous than expected, so it might be challenging with large luggage. Since this is a no meals included accommodation, I had pre-booked a nice-looking restaurant within walking distance, which worked out well. Be aware that other restaurants in the area tend to close early. The walk back at night was quite dark and slightly scary. The bath was spacious with an excellent view—truly wonderful! However, as there is no indoor bath, it might be tough during winter. The room itself was in an old building but clean and had a charming atmosphere. If you don’t mind uphill paths, Lake Kinrin is nearby and perfect for a morning stroll. Overall, I think this was a great accommodation!

Stayed as a couple with a small dog. This accommodation felt more like a pension than a hotel. It was like visiting a seaside villa, with great ocean views from the accommodation and a relaxing stay. The meals were full of Ibaraki specialties, including natto, seafood, beef, and melon—plentiful and satisfying. It was slightly disappointing that access to the beach from the accommodation was far, as the direct stairs seemed to be deteriorating and unusable. The owner had a wonderful personality and their love for dogs made our stay enjoyable.

The Room was clean, and the front desk staff were friendly. However, the toilet and washbasin felt uncomfortably close—like in a studio apartment. That said, dinner was excellent, so overall it was a satisfying stay. The portion size, quality, and atmosphere were all great.

Stayed for one night over the weekend during the Tour de Okinawa. Since the race starts early Sunday morning, I was looking for accommodation close to Yona, a cheering spot, and found this place. It was so great that I'm considering staying here again next year. The free rental electric assist bicycle (MTB) provided by the accommodation was incredibly useful! After checking in at 3 PM, I scouted out cheering spots and enjoyed riding through Kijoka where the accommodation is located, along Route 58 by the sea towards Kunigami and Ogimi Village. There was a kettle available for borrowing, but I didn't notice it and used the hot/cold water dispenser in the shared space instead. However, there were no mugs in my room—only paper cups from the dispenser—which made it slightly inconvenient. The room was minimalistic and simple but had plenty of power outlets and strong WiFi connectivity, so there were no inconveniences at all. At night, I went out to enjoy stargazing under a quiet sky full of stars on an open field. There were many shooting stars visible. Some lighting adjustments had been made to reduce "light pollution," which I appreciated; however, it could be even darker for better stargazing. I felt that this peaceful natural environment with sounds of insects chirping or birds singing created a relaxing atmosphere while reflecting an eco-friendly policy. However, there's one point I'd like to suggest improving: In an adjacent gallery workshop area nearby where someone young worked solo without headphones playing music quite loudly—it slightly leaked into buildings containing rooms (though once inside my room itself remained quiet). Considering diverse musical tastes nowadays plus how fewer universally loved songs exist across society today compared against past decades alongside growing trends ignoring headphone etiquette altogether publicly broadcasting tunes instead—this being both accommodations' location & guests seeking tranquil nature surroundings perhaps future consideration addressing such matters might enhance experiences further overall? Lastly regarding bedding warmth levels thin futons felt somewhat chilly potentially needing improvement too meanwhile directional clarity surrounding convenience store access ("10 minutes drive" vague north/south?) gas stations absent locally likewise clearer maps highlighting unique regional attractions helpful supplementing mascots/lamp-shade creator details already present within guest guides themselves? Staff interactions friendly approachable throughout stay much appreciated!

During a Multiple Night Stay, everything is perfect, from Room cleaning to Wi-Fi. The Room being old can’t really be helped. All the staff are kind and very friendly, so you never feel uncomfortable. The free parking is also appreciated. The location is ideal—there’s a supermarket, convenience store, Chinese restaurant, and izakaya nearby.

The front desk staff made a great impression. The Room is old but clean, and the mini-kitchen and ample storage—making good use of its former studio layout—are very convenient. Also, the coin laundry on the first floor is inexpensive, and the gas dryers finish quickly; with plenty of machines available, it was really helpful.

I made a last-minute Reservation an hour before check-in and stayed for one night. I booked knowing in advance that the building seemed old, but with breakfast included at this price, I was more than satisfied—who could complain? The building is old, and the in-room bathroom and toilet are small; it really feels like an older property. The front desk staff were very polite, there was a welcome drink (one time), parking was 300 yen, and it’s about a 10-minute walk from the station—you can take a shortcut by crossing the nearby bridge. I didn’t expect much, but breakfast was properly done as well. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.

This was our second stay, and we were able to relax in the very spacious room. The bath was also very pleasant and helped relieve our fatigue.

I stayed here while snow was gently falling. It was a huge help that they stored my luggage both before and after check-in. I stayed in Room 203. It’s a room with a balcony overlooking the garden. The room was very spacious, with a latest-model TV, a ReFa showerhead, a wide vanity, and a bathtub with a washing area. The toilet was fully automatic as well—everything was excellent. All amenities were MIKIMOTO. My hair usually feels rough when I use Hotel shampoo, but at this Accommodation it stayed smooth and silky. There is an guests-only lounge, and it was a lovely service that coffee, tea, and more were available freely until midnight. I also appreciated being able to take drinks back to my Room. I had coffee at check-in, and it matched my taste perfectly—really delicious. The breakfast I had been looking forward to was 100/100. I’ve eaten at luxury Hotels before, but this may have been the best I’ve ever had. Everything was wonderful, but what especially stood out were the yuzu-scented okara (unohana), fu dengaku, the white-dashi miso soup, and the dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet). When I mentioned it was my birthday this time, they decorated the guest room beautifully and even offered matcha—such thoughtful hospitality. All staff members were incredibly kind, with such a warm and homey atmosphere that made it easy to talk to them. Watching how warmly they treated other guests also made me feel happy. I think this is the best Accommodation—one that welcomes you warmly whether it’s for a special occasion or not. Next time I visit, I’ll come specifically to enjoy an unhurried Hotel stay. The front desk staff were very helpful. The Room and bathtub were both spacious, and I was able to relax a lot. It was very convenient since the adjacent shopping center has most of what you need. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. It would have been even better if tea had been available instead of water, and if there had been dessert. Breakfast was also good.

The 200g portion of Okuizumo Wagyu—crowned Japan’s best—was absolutely delicious.

Rather than a Hotel, it was an Accommodation. The Facility is simple and unadorned. However, the Room was clean and very comfortable. The menu at the on-site restaurant featured carefully prepared, home-style dishes. We ate there for both breakfast and dinner, and everything was delicious. Both the front desk and restaurant staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The only downside was that the bathroom and toilet were small (but they were clean!). It’s a comfortable Hotel, and I’d like to stay again.

This was my second visit, and the meals were still delicious. The Onsen was clean, and I could relax and enjoy it at my own pace.
