Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, and we were very satisfied!! The baths are divided into a large public bath and a natural hot spring bath; both were very relaxing, and the kids loved them. We’d love to visit again if we have the chance!

I stayed for one night. Not only was the facility excellent, but the warm hospitality of the staff could be felt everywhere, making it a very pleasant stay. I enjoy hotel stays and often use accommodations, but this has become my favorite place in Tokyo so far. Chill time on the balcony might become addictive! I will definitely visit again!

I have stayed at other machiya-style Accommodations in Kyoto before, but this was my first time using this group. First, the space felt larger in person than it looked in the photos I checked when making the Reservation. It almost felt like too much space for one person. The location is also quiet and right by the Shirakawa River—an area I highly recommend. As for amenities, there was a rice cooker among the cooking tools. I didn’t use it this time, but it seems very convenient. The only disappointment was that there wasn’t a full-length mirror. Many long-stay Accommodations also don’t provide one, but being able to check your whole outfit before going out makes a big difference—so having one would be really helpful.

The host was very hospitable and took great care of us. We left our luggage, went out, and when we returned, they kindly sent it to our next accommodation. We are truly grateful for the help. Other rooms were occupied by foreign guests. It was so quiet that we found ourselves being extra cautious not to make noise. I thought there might not be pajamas provided, so I brought my own, but there were one-piece pajamas available. Bringing leggings might be a good idea as well. The bath set included Shiseido products, which made my hair silky smooth. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

I was looking for a Hotel near Farm Tomita for my trip to Furano and found this place. The owner couple was kind and attentive, the Room was clean and comfortable. The lighting was well-placed, making the Room bright and pleasant. Thank you very much!

Very satisfied! We stayed with children, and the property was thoroughly cleaned and had a sense of cleanliness. The kitchen utensils and tableware were well-equipped, so we could cook properly by just bringing ingredients. If I had to say, the bathroom and washroom felt a bit small (all amenities were provided). There were video games, board/card games, and even a hammock, which made the kids happy to play. The surrounding area seemed like a residential neighborhood, so it might be better to avoid being too noisy late at night. It was a cold snowy day, but the air conditioning was turned on at check-in time, so the room was warm and appreciated. The owners were very kind; they called us about parking and departure in the snow and even came to help us get out of the snow in our car the next morning so we could leave safely. We are very grateful for that. This was our first time renting an entire property like this one; we had some concerns but are really glad we chose this place. The interior is cute and well-equipped; it's also close to ski resorts as well as Lake Biwa (Biwako), making it great value for money. We created wonderful memories with our family here. The property was kept very clean, and the Room was spacious, making for a very comfortable stay. The bathroom was also large, with plenty of space for changing, which was great.

I booked this pension within walking distance because I had long dreamed of seeing the fresh green metasequoia-lined avenue in the morning and evening. I also used everyone’s Reviews as a reference. Luckily, we were blessed with great weather, and we fully enjoyed the vibrant new greenery along the metasequoia trees and felt refreshed by the clean air. Early in the morning there were hardly any tourists, and our walk became a truly wonderful time. Dinner was delicious from start to finish—from the main Omi beef to the apple sorbet—and we were completely satisfied. The recommended white wine was far better than its price suggested, making the meal even more enjoyable. Breakfast was also outstanding, especially the freshly baked bread and homemade strawberry sauce (jam). Above all, both our room and the large public bath were beautifully maintained and very clean, and in so many moments we felt warmed by the thoughtful hospitality of the owner and family—it became a soothing, heartwarming trip. When we left after check-out, the owner waved goodbye as we drove out of the parking lot, which deeply moved both my husband and me. We would love to visit again in a different season next time. I really enjoyed the walk from Taisho Pond to the Hotel. Dinner was very luxurious, and I was able to fully enjoy delicious Shinshu cuisine. Breakfast after an early-morning stroll to Myojin Pond was also luxurious and excellent. The service was attentive, and I was able to fully enjoy Kamikochi. Thank you very much.

This was my first time visiting Yoshino. The cherry blossoms had not yet started to bloom, but we were shown to a Room with a wonderful view of the Ryokan’s courtyard. I can imagine how spectacular it must be when the blossoms are in full bloom. The meals (dinner and breakfast) were very delicious. The Onsen was just right, and I could enjoy it as many times as I liked without feeling unwell from the hot water.

We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay, and the meals were completely different each night; both were very elaborate and delicious. Even though it was just the two of us on the second day, we were delighted by the generous dishes and desserts. If I had to mention one thing, since dinner lasts an hour, the wooden chairs—though beautiful—are a bit hard, so having seat cushions would be appreciated.

When visiting Hida Takayama, be sure to stay at Sumiya Hagakure! Enjoy a relaxing and private time with our whole-house rental. The old streets of Takayama are within walking distance, making the location perfect. The breakfast rice balls were also delicious. This is an accommodation you'll definitely want to revisit!

My siblings live in different prefectures, so we used this place as an opportunity for the whole family to get together. There were 12 of us—my sister’s family with two dogs, my brother’s family with children, my spouse and I, my parents, and my grandmother—so we booked two buildings. There was a large long table, and extra chairs were kept in the bedroom, so everyone could sit together in one building and enjoy meals as a group. (There was also a chair for small children.) The space is very spacious, so even when we all gathered it never felt cramped. There’s also a sofa area where everyone could relax however they liked. The warmth of the wood made it feel truly wonderful. We were also very grateful that we could message to arrange check-in this time. It was convenient to pay the Accommodation Tax and pet fee via PayPay using the provided QR code. Even though the kids got very excited and had lots of fun, it’s a private space so we felt comfortable staying there without worry. For bathing, we used the Onsen at a nearby Ryokan within walking distance. The Onsen lovers in our family even went again in the morning. If you bring your own ingredients, everything else is provided—tableware and appliances—so it was incredibly helpful. There was also a rice cooker so we could cook rice easily, which we really appreciated. Inside the Room there was also an iron plate and grill net for yakiniku-style BBQ, which made the meat taste even better. There is also a locked dog run on site, which is great for guests with pets. The price was very reasonable—thank you so much for letting us stay in such a wonderful place. We would love to stay again.

There were chain restaurants nearby, and a theme park was also close by, which made it convenient! The bathroom was clean and spacious, which was great. The Room was also spacious, which was great!

There is an accommodation nestled in a forested hill within walking distance from Nakatsugawa Station. The expansive grounds are lush with greenery and feature scattered traditional detached buildings, exuding the charm of a mountain retreat. Surrounded by garden stones, plants, and tea flowers, the landscaping is meticulously maintained. The historic buildings showcase aged materials and fittings that reflect their history and character but are kept impeccably clean. Each unit has been updated with a spacious unit bath equipped with a washing area and modern toilet facilities for convenient use at any time. One of the detached buildings houses large communal baths for men and women, each featuring rectangular stone bathtubs that can accommodate several people along with two washing areas. Large glass windows open fully to reveal views of the bright forest outside. While not an onsen, it offers an atmosphere reminiscent of one. The accommodation is conveniently located near Magome and Tsumago, attracting many international guests seeking its unique ambiance. Meals are served in private dining rooms within separate annexes where guests can enjoy dishes at tables with chairs. The cuisine features innovative rural delicacies inspired by tea kaiseki style, showcasing creativity and meticulous preparation in every dish. Pure rice sake available in the room's refrigerator pairs perfectly with these meals. Nights here are quiet, offering warmth despite being housed in old Japanese-style architecture known for its gaps between structures. The hospitality provided by the staff adds to this warm experience as well.

Wanting to show my support for Fukushima as it continues its recovery, I stayed at this Hotel as a base to visit the Nuclear Disaster Archive, Ukedo Elementary School, Futaba Super Zero Mill, and the Reconstruction Memorial Park. When I called in advance, perhaps because it is a new Hotel, I felt a bit uneasy about the phone response; however, once I arrived, aside from it being hard to tell from the main entrance that the front desk is on the second floor, all of the staff were very smooth and helpful, and my stay was extremely comfortable. The amenities are excellent—I was happy to find ReFa hair dryers and shampoo. And the bath towels were so light and comfortable! I’ve never been impressed by towels at any Hotel before. Once I realized they were Zero Mill towels, it made perfect sense. I bought some towels thinking they would be for guests, but I’m going to start using them myself right away! The restaurant meals were also delicious. Dinner was so good that my sister even said, “Breakfast should be great too,” and looked forward to it. There was an Akabeko displayed with the local ingredients—cute and easy to understand—and everything tasted great. The Futaba bookshelf had picture books organized by theme as well… My stay was too short to take my time browsing (and reading), but with features like this and the spa as well—and with pleasant breezes and the sound of waves—it seems like an Accommodation you could really enjoy staying at.

I stayed for one night and two days as a solo female guest. It was very comfortable. I felt the hospitality was truly heartfelt. I will visit again.
