Thank you always for your wonderful hospitality. While many Accommodations have changed before and after COVID, I can truly relax with peace of mind knowing the quality here is consistently the same whenever I visit. The cuisine delighted my eyes, satisfied my palate, and deeply moved me. The hot spring was excellent, and the Room was exceptionally comfortable. This time, for the first time, I encountered deer and wild boar and felt the mystical power of nature as well. Thank you for such a wonderful escape from everyday life. I look forward to visiting again.

Twelve of us gathered to celebrate my father’s 88th birthday. The Premium Suite Room was more than spacious enough for six people per Room, and we were completely satisfied. Drinks and snacks were free, and the service was exceptional. We also enjoyed table tennis and karaoke, and we owe this wonderful gathering to this Hotel. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a family. This was our first family trip with two boys. We contacted the Ryokan in advance to make sure we wouldn’t cause any trouble, and thanks to their support we had a wonderful time. The water in Yumura has truly excellent quality. It was a hot day and our child had heat rash, but after the Onsen the itching seemed to go away. We will visit again. Thank you very much.

I stayed here on the day of the Ito fireworks. Since I wanted to go swimming before check-in, they kindly stored my luggage and let me change clothes in advance. The meals were served in tiered boxes, and I could enjoy them at a relaxed pace in my Room—they were delicious! The Onsen had both a rock bath and a tatami bath, and with separate times for men and women, it was great that I could use them anytime during my stay. The Room was listed as having some limitations, but it had an ocean view.

The building is showing its age, but it is carefully cleaned, and the furniture and furnishings are well maintained. The ikebana arrangements are beautifully displayed and are said to be rearranged each time by the staff. The chef is from Nemuro and sources fresh seafood from there. The vegetables and meat are locally sourced from within Hokkaido. Every time, both the presentation and the flavor are excellent, and we enjoy our meal with genuine admiration. We plan to visit again next year to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

This Hotel feels like a private villa that always welcomes you home. There is no open-air bath, but the Onsen is quiet and relaxing. The tasteful design makes it easy to unwind. We’ve been having more meals and drinks in the living room, and it would be even more enjoyable with a bit more variety on the menu. The Shuttle Service from Odawara is very convenient.

I traveled solo as a woman and enjoyed both the Gold Bath and the Silver Bath. The hospitality was outstanding. Everyone greeted me warmly, and the younger staff and international staff were kind and welcoming with friendly smiles. Dinner was delicious—the seafood, mountain specialties, and sake were all excellent. I’d be happy if you could sell the pre-meal vinegar in the shop as well; I really liked it. Since I usually skip breakfast, I appreciated having a dinner-only Plan. I may visit again on another solo trip, and I also recommend it for family travel.

I’d heard the rumors, and they were true: the setting, hospitality, and cuisine were all outstanding. I’ve always felt that the Tokugawa family helped shape the foundations of Japanese culture, and Shiraisi-ya is said to be an even older establishment with over 300 years of history. I felt as though I experienced the secret to its longevity firsthand. I’d gladly recommend it to friends.

I booked this Accommodation for my parents, and they were very pleased. They loved how spacious and clean the Room was, and everything—from the bath and meals to the service—was excellent. We would be happy to stay again in the future.

Not only is it conveniently located for accessing Dogo Onsen, but it is also in an excellent location for exploring the town. The staff were also very helpful, so I recommended it to a friend who was planning a trip to Dogo Onsen, and they immediately made a Reservation.

We arrived by taxi from Hakodate Airport. There is also a bus stop within walking distance, which is convenient. The meals were plentiful, and the squid in particular was delicious. It’s best not to expect much in terms of the view from the Room. There are two convenience stores nearby, and the refrigerator was empty so we could use it freely. The Onsen was excellent, with smooth, light water. Everyone—from the front desk to meal service and futon setup—was friendly and always smiling, which was wonderful. We will stay here again when we visit Hakodate.

We drove from Chiba. As an older couple, we chose this Onsen Accommodation so we could leave at a relaxed pace and truly unwind. It was a wonderful place that exceeded our expectations. The detached Room, the bath, and the meals were all outstanding. The meal included an impressive number of dishes, but each portion was thoughtfully sized, so even we were able to finish everything. The next day, we enjoyed the gentle Onsen three times and headed home unhurriedly. This is now on our list of places we definitely want to visit again.

The welcome drink and free parking at Nao Resort Hotel were great, and the staff were absolutely amazing throughout our stay. The Naraya Group staff are consistently outstanding. We booked during a time sale at this price, and even breakfast was included—I almost felt bad. I was also happy that the card payment included the Hot Spring Tax. We had a wonderful time around Yubatake. Unfortunately, I couldn’t use the Onsen for personal reasons, but my sister and mother were truly impressed by Ichinoyu’s waters, several nearby baths they could enjoy many times, and Soan’s private bath. Thank you again—everything was perfect.

I visited Shibu Onsen during the quieter period just after the Obon holidays. It was a very clean Onsen Ryokan, with the Room, amenities, and baths all well maintained. The level of service was just right, and I had a comfortable stay. As for the meals, I thought the adult dishes were good, but I wish there had been more creativity in the children’s meals. They consisted of fried foods such as sausages, frozen chicken, and French fries, and my child hardly ate any of it.

We stayed here to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, and everything—from the building and location to the service and meals—was outstanding. They even took photos for her birthday celebration and handed us the developed prints at the end, which I’ve never experienced elsewhere and felt was an especially thoughtful touch. I love traveling and have stayed at many Hotels, including luxury properties such as The Ritz-Carlton, Hoshinoya, and Hotel The Mitsui Kyoto, but this was impressive enough to rank in my personal top five. I’d love to return again someday. Thank you very much.

We stayed again this year, following last year’s visit. This time, it was a 2-night, 3-day beach trip for three of us: an elderly couple and our granddaughter (first grade). Both on arrival and departure, the staff guided us in the parking lot, helped carry our luggage, and spoke to us kindly—this was extremely helpful. Working in this heat must be tough; thank you for all your hard work. The building was very clean, and the Room cleaning was thorough. The meals were delicious, and we enjoyed dinner both nights while watching beautiful sunsets. The dinner style differed between the first and second nights: on the first night we had a kaiseki course featuring Murakami beef shabu-shabu as the main dish, and on the second night we had a seafood kaiseki course. Both the Murakami beef on day one and the crab on day two were excellent—our granddaughter finished her crab within minutes of starting dinner. If I had to ask for one thing, I would have loved even a small portion of Murakami beef on the second night as well, since it’s something you can only eat when visiting this area (though we do make use of hometown tax donations). We were originally told that dinner would be at “Kaiou” on both nights, but about 15 minutes before dinner on the second night we suddenly received notice of a venue change. The staff member apologized repeatedly; however, in a Hotel that accommodates so many guests, it actually reassured me that careful checks are being done in advance. Buffet-style dining isn’t bad, but for an elderly couple like us, having kaiseki served at just the right timing is much easier. I sincerely hope you will continue offering it. It’s also wonderful that right behind the Hotel is a beach with excellent access: after leaving the beach we could rinse off sand at the outdoor showers and head straight to the Onsen. There was even a washing machine available to rinse swimsuits—truly convenient. After soaking in the Onsen, all three of us relaxed in the lobby while enjoying complimentary Momotaro ice pops. On day two, when we asked at reception for advice so we could enjoy swimming at Sasagawa Nagare Beachline area more fully—including which beach and where to park—they kindly helped us with great care. There was also plenty of information we couldn’t get from checking with AI beforehand; combining both made our trip even more enjoyable. Local knowledge really is invaluable. On our final day as well—at our granddaughter’s request—we enjoyed swimming until mid-afternoon before rinsing off sand in the shower and saltiness in the Onsen prior to heading home. Driving back to Tokyo after swimming was tiring, but it became a fulfilling trip full of wonderful memories. If my stamina holds up, I’d love to come again next year. Thank you very much.

From the moment I arrived at the Ryokan, the Hotel staff warmly welcomed me, and check-in was smooth. Everyone on the Hotel team was highly professional, and the property was spotless, making my stay very comfortable. The food had delicate flavors, and the portions were just right—neither too much nor too little. Both dinner and breakfast felt perfectly balanced. The baths are cleaned once between check-in and the next morning, with a men’s/women’s switch as well. I also appreciated being able to use them multiple times even late at night or early in the morning.

My daughter and I stayed here together. We had a luggage issue before arriving at the Hotel and ended up arriving an hour late for dinner, but you kindly accommodated us, for which we are truly grateful. For the meal, although it was already past the time when it would normally have been served as a boxed meal, you were considerate enough to serve us as planned, and I was nearly moved to tears. Every dish was not only beautifully presented but also thoughtfully prepared with seasonal ingredients and flavors that guests of any age can enjoy. The seasoning and portions were just right, and everything was truly delicious. We chose the plan with breakfast included, and it was very lavish—yet never heavy—and before we knew it, we had finished everything. The rice was especially delicious; my daughter and I even said afterward that we should have asked for seconds. The Onsen bath was very clean, and it felt so wonderful that we forgot all about the day’s troubles. We also used the open-air bath; since it was a full moon that night, we enjoyed a blissful time soaking while looking at the moon peeking through the trees. The Room was very spacious, with a Japanese-style room plus a separate bedroom with beds. It’s a layout where you can relax in comfort in the Japanese-style room and then sleep soundly in bed afterward—something guests of any age can enjoy. Above all else, every member of staff provided outstanding service. When we arrived at Kinugawa Onsen Station there were hardly any taxis available, and we were worried about whether we could reach the Hotel on foot along dark roads. You picked us up by car from the station, which helped us tremendously. You also drove us to the station again the next day—thank you so much. Thanks to you, we made our scheduled train on time. Your kindness in every respect truly moved us. There are many Ryokan out there and we have stayed at several before, but this is a Hotel where we were satisfied with everything: staff service, cuisine, baths, and Rooms. This time it was only one night because there were other places we wanted to visit as well; however, if we travel to the Nikko area again next time, we will definitely choose this Hotel. And since we had your wonderful food rather hurriedly this time due to our late arrival (laugh), next time I’d like to arrive on schedule and savor each dish more slowly. Above all, the milky-white free-flowing Onsen from the source was outstanding, and soaking at a leisurely pace felt truly luxurious. We chose this Accommodation because it had high ratings for its meals and service in Reviews. We were a little worried whether our growing children would be satisfied, but in the end we were extremely happy. The elaborate appetizers won over our whole family, and we were impressed by the careful craftsmanship that didn’t simply rely on the quality of the ingredients. We could feel the attentive care of the proprietress and all the staff throughout our stay, which made it very comfortable. It doesn’t have the kind of Facilities you’d find at a large Hotel, but when we visit Tottori again, I’m sure we’ll stay here again.
