We decided to visit Arima Onsen on short notice and made a reservation here as it was available. The building might be old, but the guidance, car assistance, and customer service were very polite. It was nice to enjoy in-room dining after a long time. This accommodation serves delicious meals! Everything tasted great, likely because the dishes were served hot and the broth was flavorful. We enjoyed both gold and silver onsens, and perhaps due to good timing, we had them almost all to ourselves for a relaxing soak. The location is convenient for strolling around the onsen town, and we’re glad we chose this place.

The reason for choosing Tsuruyaryokan from among several properties was that the room had an open-air bath and it was right in front of the approach. My honest impression after actually staying there was that it was very good. The male staff who guided us were really pleasant and kind. Also, the food was very delicious, with a quantity so large that we couldn't finish it, which left us very satisfied. If I have the opportunity to visit again, I would definitely like to use your property.

From the moment we arrived at the parking lot, the staff kindly guided us, and throughout our stay—from check-in at the front desk to meal times—every staff member was cheerful and welcoming, making us feel great! We stayed with our dog, and they were very kind to him as well. The facility seemed old but was very well-maintained and spotless—no issues at all! The meals were exceptional, starting with Yamagata beef for dinner and various small dishes. The breakfast buffet was of high quality with just the right variety of options. The bathwater was hot, but the spring quality was excellent! We appreciated being able to bring our dog into the dining area. If we have another opportunity, we would love to stay here again!

The building is old, and the rooms are not very spacious, but the interior is clean and sufficient for a comfortable stay. Guests can use the large public bath at the neighboring Yurari facility. The pool is also available, so bringing swimwear could be a good idea. For dining, famous restaurants like Toyotsune and Ichiriki are located nearby. For Multiple Night Stays, cleaning service is provided every three days; however, towel replacement is available upon request. As a tip, you can access the neighboring public bath in loungewear provided by the Hotel. Since the Hotel slippers are thin, it might be helpful to bring your own from a 100-yen shop. The loungewear is well-made and warm enough even during winter. Parking is available at a paid parking lot right next to the Hotel for 600 yen per night. Please note that fees apply each time you enter or exit. The location of the Hotel may be slightly difficult to find; using Yakiniku Ichiriki as a landmark could help guide you there easily.

The location is easy to find and the parking lot is easy to park in. There are set hours when staff are present, but there is a proper explanation and emergency measures are also listed. The building is old, but it is clean, and the service is very polite and pleasant. The hairdryer was a bit difficult to turn on, and there were many remote controls, so it would be nice to have a little explanation. There is also a microwave, ABEMA, manga, and DVDs, and the Onsen that was recommended was great! There was a sign saying "With sincerity," and it really comes across. I think I will be using your services again.

Stayed one night at "Kikyo" with my spouse, no meals included. The atmosphere, service, and private Onsen were excellent. I would love to visit again. If I had to mention any drawbacks, there was only one vending machine on the premises that did not accept 500 yen coins or 1,000 yen bills, and the area around the Room building was completely dark at night.

I stayed on a weekday. There was no wait at reception, and I was able to go to my Room smoothly. The Room is old, but it was properly cleaned and tidy. Amenities in each Room were limited to a toothbrush, towels, and a yukata, but there seemed to be more available in the Onsen changing room. Wi-Fi works, but when I ran a speed test the download speed was around 8 Mbps. Since it was about this fast on a quiet day, I wouldn’t expect much on busy days. For dinner, I chose the charcoal-grilled seafood set. It included crab, scallops, salmon, squid, vegetables, and also sashimi. Since there was udon included I didn’t ask for it, but it seems rice is provided as well. You can also order additional dishes or sake tasting sets for an extra charge. The Onsen felt like it was privately reserved just for me. It’s a great Onsen, and being able to use one of that size alone might actually be a rare opportunity. I think I saw other Reviews mentioning cold shower water; if it’s nearly private-use only, the pipes may have cooled down due to low usage. For about one minute only cold water came out, but after that it worked normally. The sauna did not seem to be available due to COVID-19 prevention measures. Overall, considering the Accommodation Fee level (value for money), this Hotel offers high satisfaction with dinner, breakfast (included), and the Onsen—great cost performance/value for money overall. The Facilities are somewhat dated throughout which is slightly noticeable; aside from that point my satisfaction level was high.

We stayed at the accommodation to visit udon restaurants with our family. Despite being during the Obon holiday, it was more affordable compared to others, and we decided immediately because of the price and the open-air bath. At night, we enjoyed the open-air bath, and in the morning, we used the large public bath—it was very nice. It was great that all five family members could stay in one room.

A nostalgic Showa-style Ryokan where you take off your shoes at the entrance! I think just changing the carpet here would dramatically change the overall atmosphere. The bath is a natural hot spring with a high content of metasilicic acid, so your skin becomes smooth and moist even without soap - wonderful! The tsumire unkai nabe for dinner was exquisite, and I was completely absorbed in it. The tamago kake gohan and soba mizu kake for breakfast were also delicious, and I was impressed by the abundant use of local ingredients, including vegetables. Thank you very much.
