The meals were delicious, and all the staff were cheerful and very kind. It wasn’t the strong sulfur scent I had imagined for Kusatsu Onsen, but the Onsen was great and left my skin feeling smooth. The bath area was a bit of a walk, and at night the motion-sensor lights turned on one by one along the way, which made me feel a little uneasy. The next day, you kindly allowed us to leave our car in the parking lot so we could enjoy exploring Kusatsu Onsen. Thank you very much.

This trip was with my parents and my son. Since one of my parents has difficulty walking, I chose this Accommodation hoping they could watch the Kamiyamada Fireworks Festival from the Room. We reserved the top-floor Room (5F Executive Floor Suite), convinced we would be able to see the fireworks. When we arrived, the front desk staff guided our car and prepared a wheelchair for my mother. Dinner was included; there was so much that we couldn’t finish it all, but everything was excellent and delicious. The baths were also wonderful, with great-quality water that everyone enjoyed—my son went in four times. As for the fireworks, they were absolutely perfect. We could see the launch site clearly, and it was truly beautiful. The only disappointment was that there were several steps inside the Room. I also thought handrails would have been helpful. Still, with such great food and a perfect fireworks view, I’m glad we stayed in this Room. Thank you to all the staff as well. I’d love to stay again.

We stayed for one night and two days with dinner and breakfast included for four people. The traditional house, delicious meals, and the warm hospitality of the proprietress were very soothing. The building is a bit old, but it made us feel like we were visiting a relative’s home. However, perhaps because some walls are thin, noise from upstairs and downstairs carries through, so it may bother some guests.

The meals are always delicious and home-style. Since I’m not good at exercise, I joined the after-dinner walk for the first time on this trip. It was a shame we couldn’t see fireflies because the typhoon brought strong winds, but I was surprised to hear there are fireflies right near the Accommodation. Apparently there are chances to see them until November, so I’d like to stay again.

The hot spring water is sourced directly from the spring, with both lukewarm and hot baths available, as well as an open-air bath. Visiting during a less crowded period allows for a relaxing soak to relieve fatigue. I look forward to visiting again.

This Accommodation is well known for its excellent cuisine. The dishes were beautifully presented and tasted outstanding. While primarily Japanese, they also incorporated Western elements, offering new flavors and textures that made every course memorable. The Onsen was neither too hot nor too cold—just the right temperature—and the water quality also felt very good. I was extremely satisfied with both the meals and the Onsen. The staff were polite and kind. If I had to mention areas for improvement, although it can’t be helped that the Facility is old overall, there was no air conditioning in the corridors, so I started sweating on the way back to my Room after bathing. Also, there was only one face towel in the Room, so I ended up drying and reusing the towel I took to the bath. I was also concerned that an emergency light in a corridor seemed close to burning out. Despite many wonderful points, a few things were disappointing.

We chose this Accommodation for our first stay after our baby was born. Since our baby is not yet three months old, we were concerned about crying, so we stayed in a private rental-style Accommodation. It was almost too spacious for just the two of us. We were able to relax without worrying about those around us. We also enjoyed playing table tennis for the first time in a while, and the meal portions were so generous we couldn’t finish everything. Everything was very delicious. Dinner required some cooking, which felt a bit challenging with a small child, but it was great that there were no time restrictions and we could eat whenever we wanted. There was also a sauna. The staff kindly brought welcome drinks and breakfast to our Room out of consideration for us. You can tell they are very particular about their food—it was excellent. Above all, the staff were wonderful, showing great care throughout our stay and even seeing us off until our car disappeared from view when we left. It was a lovely stay experience, and next time we’d like to come back with a larger group.

Thank you very much for your truly attentive support from the time of our Reservation. I had wanted to stay here ever since the Hotel opened at the Toy Museum, and not only could we enjoy playing a lot at the Toy Museum, but the Room was also excellent (spacious, with a tatami area, and separate bath and toilet). We also received complimentary tickets for Kin-sen and Gin-sen, and in the Arima Onsen area, it felt like an unbelievable value for this price. I would definitely like to stay again.

It was a wonderful Ryokan with a rich sense of history and charm. Everything was well explained and carefully maintained, and the private Onsen was excellent. I would definitely like to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

The building exudes a sense of history, though the stairs may not be ideal for those with mobility concerns, the atmosphere is exceptional. Located next to the public bath "Oyu," it is perfect for visiting all 13 public baths in the area. The meals were excellent, and the hospitality from the hostess and accommodation staff was kind and appreciated. This is an accommodation I would love to visit again during a different season.

I love Yuya Onsen and visit a few times a year, and this time I stayed at Ryokan Hisago. It’s a long-established Ryokan built along the river, and it seems the Rooms have been renovated, so I was really looking forward to it. From check-in, we received a warm welcome and were shown to our Room—and it was exactly as I had hoped! It was clean with a comfortable layout, and the size was more than sufficient. When you open the window, you can hear the murmur of the river and the calls of wildlife, which is incredibly soothing. The meals were very well seasoned, and freshly prepared dishes were brought out one after another, making everything even more enjoyable. The bath temperature was slightly on the lukewarm side, so you can relax while looking out at the river. If available, you can use the private open-air bath freely, so I was able to enjoy it in the evening, at night, and in the morning as well. It was also great that it could be used throughout the night. This is an Accommodation I’d love to visit again.

Our family of three, including our second-grade daughter, stayed here after a day at the beach. We really appreciated being able to use the washing machine and drying area. There’s a convenience store nearby, and Sunset Beach is just a short walk away—it was truly beautiful and moving. Kamo Aquarium is also close by, and it’s about a 40-minute drive to Dewa Sanzan, making the location very convenient. We were very satisfied with the meals as well, and would love to stay again.

I visited this auberge for the first time on a two-person trip with my daughter—I'm a serious Onsen lover, and she’s happy to come along as long as there’s great food. We were excited from the start. Since we’re the “stay-in and relax” type who don’t need sightseeing, this was the best Accommodation that met all my requirements, including an all-inclusive plan. The Room options by type matched our request perfectly, and I felt soothed in a space with a style I love. The food was, of course, outstanding—everything tasted new to me, and I was truly impressed! It exceeded my expectations so much that I was far too full to enjoy much of the after-dinner drinks in the lounge or the snacks and sweets, and I didn’t even make it to the cup noodles. I was also amazed by how many kinds of complimentary drinks were available, and there was plenty of beer and water stocked in the Room refrigerator as well. The amenities felt very luxurious. They were such good quality that there’s no need to bring your own. Because it was just us at breakfast, we were able to chat with one of the female staff members (I wish I had asked her name) and enjoy a wonderful time right up until close to checkout. They even had bread from my favorite bakery prepared for us—I was so happy. It’s a shame I can’t write about the Onsen experience, but instead we were able to enjoy another Onsen nearby, which I’ll take as good luck—and it also gave us a reason (and a promise) to come back for sure. I also feel sorry that you showed us such considerate care—it almost felt like too much. I’m grateful to have found an Accommodation in Yunogo that we’ll definitely return to. I recommend it for important anniversaries, and it has also become a special place as a reward for myself. Two wonderful staff members and an incredibly talented chef. I truly hope this place will be here for many years to come. Thank you so much!

I stayed here because I wanted to relax in Kurokawa Onsen. The Accommodation had a calm atmosphere and was very comfortable, so I was able to spend a peaceful time even on my own. The Onsen temperature was just right, and it truly soothed my travel fatigue. The Asuka hot pot I had for dinner was especially memorable. The gently flavored soup, like white miso, was absolutely delicious, and I enjoyed it all the way to the end without getting tired of it. Every dish made with local ingredients was also wonderful, and both my heart and stomach were completely satisfied. All of the staff were warm and welcoming, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. Thanks to them, I felt refreshed both physically and mentally, making it a memorable solo trip. I would love to come back in a different season. Thank you very much.

This time, I traveled to Oita with my daughter! She’s really into saunas and highly recommended Yorozuya. The Room, the Onsen, the food—and of course the sauna—were all excellent. We were able to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay together. Everyone at the Hotel was very kind, and we’d love to visit again. Thank you for taking such good care of us. A room with extraordinary spaciousness, high ceilings, and a private atmosphere as it is detached. The staff's hospitality was excellent, making it a facility I would recommend even to my most critical friends.

The Asama Onsen district spreads across the eastern part of Matsumoto City, climbing up the foothill slope. The Accommodation is built on the hillside, and the road in front of the entrance is only one lane wide. After leaving your luggage at the Accommodation, you move to the parking area via a narrow alley-like passage about 2 meters wide. If you have a larger car, it seems better to enter from another wider road, park there first, and then carry your luggage. This is an old Accommodation; the furniture and fittings are also old but of good quality, carefully maintained, and immaculately cleaned. The hospitality feels heartfelt; while some younger staff may seem a little awkward, they are poised and dignified. You can sense the refined quality of a prestigious Accommodation. The Room—created by combining two rooms into one—has well-chosen furniture and furnishings. It is calming and comfortable. In the in-room bath, hot natural spring water flows directly from the source; unless you truly love very hot baths, you will want to add cold water to adjust it. For smaller guests, it is deep enough to soak up to your shoulders and long enough to stretch out your legs. Opening the large window facing the garden lets in wonderfully refreshing air. The large public bath and private bath are spacious with a comfortable temperature. The lockers are solid as well. A table adapted from a lacquered low dining table is paired with chairs that are easy to sit on. The dishes brought to your Room one after another at just the right timing are genuine gourmet cuisine—anticipation and satisfaction continue throughout. Allergy accommodations and requests regarding disliked ingredients were handled perfectly. Interestingly—and elegantly—the menu does not list the head chef’s name. There is a separate bedroom with very comfortable beds. It is quiet.

We stayed in the detached Accommodation. When we called in advance to confirm, we were told it would be possible to add one more set of futons in addition to the 7 people on our online Reservation, so we stayed with 8 guests. Even with 8 people, it was spacious enough, and we had a very comfortable stay. There were notes indicating areas that still use items from the former Ito Ryokan, and there were small decorative touches on the walls like kumiko-style woodwork—overall, the interior was more stylish and beautiful than we expected. It’s only a short walk to the main building, but there is also a Shuttle Service, which we really appreciated. The meals were delicious, and drink orders and other requests were handled promptly and efficiently, which left a great impression. The large public bath and open-air bath in the main building were both wonderful on both the first and second floors—each had its own charm—and we enjoyed using both at night and again in the morning. After letting them know in advance that we would be traveling with an infant, they prepared a diaper trash bin and baby soap in our Room. Our three-generation family had a truly pleasant stay. It was a very clean and beautiful Room.

The renovated traditional building offers a modern Japanese-style Ryokan with friendly and helpful staff. The Onsen is available as a private bath, and you can use it anytime if it's vacant. There are three baths, each supposedly at different temperatures, but they all seemed to be the same temperature and quite hot. The much-talked-about breakfast was also delicious.
