This was our second stay, following last year’s visit. The post-bath drinks were well stocked, and the indoor dog run and complimentary pet treats were even better than last year. Our pet could join us in the dining area, and it was convenient that pets can be walked on a leash inside the property without needing to stay in a carrier. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only drawback was that there were few outlets in the room and their locations weren’t very convenient, but we borrowed an extension cord from the front desk to manage. We would definitely like to stay again.

The moment I stepped from the entrance into the lobby, I was struck by the sense of openness and the deep blue sea stretching out beyond it, and I felt truly glad I came. The warm welcome, dinner, and breakfast—along with thoughtful touches you won’t find at other Hotels—made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. This has become a Hotel I’d love to stay at again. Please keep up the great work for Wakura Onsen’s recovery.

We stayed in one of the few Rooms with a private open-air Onsen bath. The interior was very stylish and lovely! Because it’s not a large Facility, we rarely ran into other guests. The staff were also very friendly and made us feel at home. The meals were more than satisfying for us as a couple, and hot dishes were served at just the right time so they wouldn’t cool down. We’ve visited many Onsens, but the milky Onsen here felt so wonderful that we’d love to soak in it again. We were truly impressed to have found such an excellent Accommodation where we could fully enjoy the Onsen!

The building is old, but thoughtful arrangements throughout make for a comfortable stay. A wide variety of meals are offered, including seafood dishes unique to Hakodate, which were very satisfying. The Onsen features a spacious area, with separate spaces for washing and bathing, ensuring comfort. Access is convenient as it’s about a 10-minute bus ride from the airport, making this Hotel easy to use.

I was finally able to visit “Ura-Kusatsu Tou,” a place I’d been curious about for a long time. Located in the Ura-Kusatsu area, just a short distance from the bustle of Yubatake, the moment you step inside you’ll find a beautifully curated space where traditional craftsmanship and modern design come together. Every corner of the Accommodation is picture-perfect. From interiors accented with traditional crafts to warm, inviting lighting, you can feel the attention to detail throughout. It was an Accommodation with a calm atmosphere—perfect for an adults-only getaway. Relax from the core with “Jizo Gensen” The greatest highlight here is, of course, the Onsen fed by “Jizo Gensen.” Among Kusatsu’s many hot spring sources, “Jizo-no-Yu” is said to be rare due to its low output. Its gentle feel on the skin and subtle milky hue were wonderfully soothing, and I could truly relax from deep within. Not only in the large public bath but throughout the building, there are thoughtful touches that create a sense of gentle “sway,” making it feel as if everyday fatigue simply melts away. Dinner and breakfast were served in a serene dining space. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious enough to make you happy with each bite. Breakfast also felt luxurious: colorful small plates lined up alongside freshly cooked rice. An Accommodation where you can fully enjoy both the Onsen and the cuisine—I left completely satisfied in both heart and stomach. The Room was spotless and comfortable—functional yet designed with a calming Japanese aesthetic. The staff maintained just the right level of attentiveness; thanks to their courteous service, my stay was pleasant from start to finish. It had been some time since my last visit to Kusatsu Onsen, but this trip helped me rediscover its charm all over again. This wonderful Accommodation lets you experience both the excellence of Jizo Gensen and modern comfort at once—somewhere I would love to return again.

This time, on my first visit to Beppu during Golden Week, I stayed in a non-smoking twin Room under the Standard Plan. The hotel is conveniently located near Beppu Station, with easy access. I arrived early due to my flight schedule, and it was a great place to leave my luggage and go sightseeing. On top of that, our Room was upgraded to a family Room! The two of us enjoyed the luxury of using a four-person Room. Both the property and the Room were kept very clean, and we were able to relax after sightseeing and drinks. The next morning the weather was bad so we couldn’t see the sunrise, but we fully enjoyed the bath and even the after-bath services. I’d definitely like to stay here again on my next trip back to Oita.

Stayed alone on Friday. The renovated Japanese-Western style room was very clean and provided a relaxing stay. Although the room was near the front desk, karaoke room, and kids' room, it was well soundproofed, and once the door was closed, it was perfectly quiet. The large public bath was conveniently close as well. At the dining area, staff members showed thoughtful consideration by arranging seating to ensure privacy whenever possible. The buffet offered an excellent variety of dishes with great flavors, allowing for a calm and satisfying meal experience. Most notably, while many large-scale hotels often have baths where it's unclear if they use Onsen water or regular heated water, this one had authentic Onsen water with a truly pleasant feel. The location is outstanding with breathtaking views of the sea up close—absolutely fantastic! Being a large chain hotel popular among families, I initially wondered how it would be for solo travelers like myself; however, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay thanks to their hospitality. Thank you very much!

We booked this Accommodation and Room fairly last-minute because everyone’s vacation dates finally lined up, and it turned into a comfortable, relaxing one-night, two-day stay. The in-room bath was clean and easy to use, and we all liked it so much that we used it several times. What really stood out this time was the food. Dinner was thoughtfully crafted, and the delicious flavors paired with the freshness of the theme made it truly enjoyable. The salt-grilled ayu was an unexpected highlight—fluffy, tender, and incredibly tasty. The junmai ginjo mentioned on the information card also paired perfectly with the meal. Breakfast was distinctive as well, starting with bonito dashi, which felt wonderfully fresh. The selection of dishes laid out—especially the Japanese options—was very satisfying and fun to try. In particular, the sea bream shabu-shabu was a favorite. To repeat myself, we thoroughly enjoyed a comfortable family one-night Onsen trip.

I’ve stayed here many times. This Hotel lets you feel the history of Yumoto, the town of hula. That’s also part of its charm, and it makes for a calm, relaxing stay. This time I stayed with my wife, but when I’m traveling for work I can also choose a budget-friendly Room with some limitations. Dinner is not provided, but you can get recommended local information along with a map. Above all, the proprietress’s breakfast is delicious and highly recommended. Of course, the Onsen is wonderful as well. I’ll be back!

We stayed in a Room with a slide! The moment we saw it, we got so excited, and our three kids kept climbing up and sliding down over and over—they looked like they were having fun the whole time. There were so many kid-friendly activities—shopping and post office role-play, candy fishing, and shaved ice spinning—that it was absolutely fantastic. It was a little disappointing that there wasn’t a teapot or Ureshino tea in the Room. We bought roasted Ureshino hojicha at the shop and enjoyed it. After dinner, one of the kind dining staff prepared a teapot with sencha for us, so we could drink it in our Room as well, which was wonderful. Thank you very much for your thoughtful care. It also happened to be firefly season, and we were able to join a bus tour from near the Accommodation, which was great. There were so many fireflies—it was truly moving! Even when we returned from the firefly tour around 9:00 p.m., there were plenty of staff around the front desk area, creating a bright atmosphere that made us feel safe and happy. The dining venue had many families with children as well, so we could relax and enjoy our meal without worrying. The sashimi and meat dishes were delicious, and we left completely full. We would love to stay again when traveling with children.

All the staff were kind, and the property was clean. The Hotel did feel a bit dated. Breakfast and dinner were both very delicious—much better than I expected for the price. The Niigata rice was especially good. The complimentary snacks and drinks in the lounge were also nice. Roasting marshmallows over the irori at night was fun. The large public bath and open-air bath, fed by a private hot spring source, were excellent as well. However, it seemed a little different from Tsukioka Onsen’s typical emerald-green water with a thin oily film on the surface. Maybe there is a lot of added water? I’m not sure. Even so, considering the value for money, meals, various services, and how kind the staff were, I think it’s a good Hotel. Thank you for taking care of us. The town area of Tsukioka Onsen is beautifully maintained and very pleasant. It’s an Onsen I would definitely like to visit again.

On my first trip to Yufuin, I visited on a solo journey. Both the head lady at the front desk and the lady at the restaurant were wonderful, and I was able to spend a very comfortable time. The Room was very clean and felt warm and welcoming. I was also able to relax and fully enjoy the bath. It was a lovely Accommodation where time passed gently and with care. I’m glad I decided to come. Thank you very much.

The Ryokan’s traditional atmosphere was wonderful, and because everything is compact and well organized, we were able to stay comfortably. Above all, the staff’s thoughtful and kind hospitality really came through, and our children liked it too. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

It started with the open-air bath in a separate annex, and the Onsen was wonderful. I left the Accommodation in a hurry because it looked like my return train might stop running due to the weather. Next time, I’d like to stay for two nights and relax—enjoying the Onsen and spending plenty of time reading.

I stayed here with the Zao Snow Monsters package in Shiroishi-Zao. The hot spring was excellent and very refreshing. The meals were very generous, and I ended up leaving a lot. I would like an option with smaller portions.

In its calm setting, this Accommodation had the quiet charm of Shimosuwa and gently helped me unwind from the fatigue of travel. The bath was “Wata no Yu.” The water felt soft and soothing on the skin, warming me through to the core. There is also a private open-air bath, and it was wonderfully relaxing to soak in silence without worrying about anyone around. Breakfast was unhurried as well, and I could enjoy it slowly in a peaceful atmosphere. Combined with Shimosuwa’s crisp morning air, it felt like a time that refreshed even my mind. It’s also conveniently located for visiting Suwa Taisha Shrine and exploring Shimosuwa on foot—an Accommodation I’d love to return to.

I finally got to experience this Accommodation I’d been curious about for a while, thanks to its appealing Instagram posts and high rankings online! In conclusion, it’s a wonderful Onsen Accommodation with a high level of satisfaction that truly lives up to the hype. The food is especially outstanding. At dinner—famous for its boat platter—you can enjoy Kishu-style whale dishes, along with a lineup of carefully prepared courses. As for the Onsen, it was a bit disappointing that every bath felt too hot to fully relax in, but you can still enjoy thoughtfully designed baths, including an open-air bath where you can feel the sea up close. I’m glad I found an Accommodation I’d love to return to in another season.

[Room] The Room was very spacious and clean. There were five of us (two adults and three children), and we stayed very comfortably. There were two beds, and we laid out three futons in the open space, but there was still plenty of room. Amenities were available in the lobby for guests to take what they needed, and it was nice that we could also take tea, coffee, and even snacks—not just toiletries. [Service] All staff members were friendly and helpful with a smile. We also appreciated them carrying our luggage from the car at the entrance. The dining staff were energetic and efficient, quickly clearing empty plates. [Baths] The large public bath and open-air bath were very spacious and relaxing. You could also choose from different shampoos. There were seven types of private family baths, and my wife and kids tried several of them. Best of all, all seven types can be used for free when available—amazing! It didn’t seem overly crowded either. The water in the cold-water dispenser in the public bath area didn’t feel very cold. I wanted to use the massage chairs, but they were often busy so it was hard to get a turn. Also, the foot area on the massage chairs was dirty and felt a bit unhygienic. It would be great if this could be checked regularly. [Meals] The buffet had a wide variety of options and everything was delicious. You could make your own seafood rice bowl with sashimi, which was especially tasty. Thoughtful touches like buffet carts and elastic bands to keep yukata sleeves out of the way were wonderful. [Facility & Equipment] The entire Facility was extremely clean. All floors are shoes-off areas, but walking barefoot never felt uncomfortable at all. We also appreciated that socks for indoor use were included in the Room towel set—a nice touch. You can choose between yukata or samue loungewear; many guests wore samue, including our family. Free welcome drinks and complimentary ice cream after bathing made everything feel wonderfully generous. There are plenty of kid-friendly areas such as a play space, a family game corner, table tennis, etc., so our children had an absolute blast.

We stayed just after the Golden Week holidays. With a private open-air bath in the Room, it was by far the most affordable Accommodation we’ve ever stayed at! The location is right in front of the ocean, and the view from the rooftop is amazing. Even though it’s a business hotel, the amenities were excellent, and the hot spring bath was free-flowing from the source—everything was great. It was May, but it was very hot, and we were able to use the rooftop pool too, so I wish I had brought a swimsuit!

We previously had an amazing time watching the Atami fireworks up close, so we came back with our dog. With its consistently great location, we were able to fully enjoy the fireworks festival again. Our family loves this place so much that we’d happily stay here again and again, but we would appreciate it even more if you could consider the following: For a Multiple Night Stay with takeout meals, there are clearly not enough dishes and utensils. It would be very helpful to have dish soap and a sponge, paper towels, and large trash bags. We also used the instant ramen vending machine on the 2nd floor, which our child loved. However, there are only a few topping options available compared to the number of ramen servings in stock. We would be happy if you could consider restocking more frequently or increasing the amount provided. That said, I think we’ll be back again. Next time, we’d love to enjoy the autumn/winter fireworks as well. Thank you very much.
