We stayed just after the Golden Week holidays. The front desk staff, restaurant team, and housekeeping staff we passed on our way out were all pleasant and handled everything smoothly. Our Room had an open-air bath; although it was listed as having no view at the time of Reservation, we were able to enjoy the mountains across the river, the lights of nearby Onsen Accommodations, and a sky full of stars. We had recently stayed at a related property in Yamashiro Onsen and expected similar meals, but the buffet selection was different here, and in particular the local Gero specialty “Kei-chan” chicken was delicious. The baths were used by quite a few guests, but they never felt crowded, and everything was well cleaned and easy to use. We were able to relax and enjoy a wonderful, unhurried stay. We would love to stay again.

Beautiful scenery, a resort-like atmosphere throughout the property, and carefully prepared seasonal dishes. The service was attentive, courteous, and truly pleasant. The cool natural air and enjoyable walks made me very glad I visited. Breakfast was also brought to our table, allowing us to relax and enjoy the meal at ease. I appreciated the Shuttle Service from Yudanaka Station, and taking a short break in the lounge was a wonderful time as well. Although it was a trip during the heat, I felt refreshed and ready to get through the summer with renewed energy. I am turning 77 this year. I want to continue enjoying wonderful trips—dressing up and savoring stays at Resort Hotels and Ryokans.

The main building's bath was spacious, and the annex's open-air baths were also large and numerous, which was amazing. I felt very relaxed. The meals were a luxurious buffet featuring plenty of local specialties, which left me completely satisfied. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

On my first trip to Toyama, I stayed here for two nights during a 4-night, 5-day visit. I chose this Hotel for its convenient access to the trolley train, the wide variety of Toyama local cuisine, the table tennis, and above all, the incredible view from the Room. The Room was even better than I imagined—wonderful and very comfortable. We were lucky with the weather, so we could clearly see the trolley train, and I was moved every day by the beautiful scenery outside the window. The Onsen was somewhat busy at times but still within an acceptable range. The water left my skin feeling smooth. A small issue came up at dinner, but the way it was handled was truly heartfelt. They even gave my son some fireworks, which added something special to our family time together. It’s impressive that their response made me feel not only that it canceled out any inconvenience, but that it almost happened for a reason. I have great respect for the manager who assisted us. Everyone at this Hotel was wonderful—even down to each greeting from staff members. Thank you to the Shuttle Service driver for taking us back and forth to Unazuki Station so many times! And thank you as well to the woman working at the bar counter in the buffet venue for teaching me how to make a recommended delicious drink! Also, thank you for writing a letter for my son—he was deeply touched. He brought it home as a keepsake and is treasuring it. Toyama Prefecture has so much depth—I found many more places I want to visit. After entrance exams are over, I’d like to come again in autumn. This time I debated between a Deluxe Japanese-Western style Room and a Western-style Room, and chose the Western-style one. The Room was amazing, but now I’m curious about the Japanese-Western style too—choosing next time will be exciting. Beyond just the view, as a woman I was also impressed by how high-quality the hair dryer in our Room was. Such great attention to service detail. Is it the same hair dryer in every Room? My hair felt so silky afterward. If there’s one request: I’d be happy if there were women’s amenities in each Room (or at least amenity sets in deluxe Rooms). Some guests may want light makeup after using the Onsen as well; having an amenity set would make an already perfect stay even better. We used this Hotel as our base while sightseeing around various places. Next time I'd like to stay three nights. Thank you very much for everything!

We stayed here to celebrate our dog’s 3rd birthday. Although the room was a bit old, there were no unpleasant odors and we were able to relax comfortably. The meals were buffet-style with a wide variety of dishes, including options for dogs, so both we and our pet were very satisfied. Best of all, every staff member clearly loves dogs and treated us with kindness and care. Thank you very much. We will stay again next time.

I felt you focus your time and budget on exactly the right things. I imagine the Room cleaning and maintenance, meals, and service are all thoughtfully managed with great care. I also really appreciated that the meal portions weren’t overly large. It doesn’t have everything like a luxury Ryokan, but if you simply want to relax at a slower pace, I don’t think you’ll find it lacking. This time I made a Reservation with a last-minute discount, but even without it, this is an Accommodation I’d like to visit again.

I usually stay at Itoen Group properties, but this time I tried staying here with a breakfast-included Plan! There are various shops nearby, so having no dinner included was not a problem at all. I came by motorcycle, and it rained quite a bit on the day of checkout, so when I told them I wanted to extend my stay, they looked into options and arranged it for me. The staff were very helpful, and I had a very satisfying stay. Next time, I’d like to try the Plan with dinner included.

I love Yugawara. Shiroyama’s radon Onsen is excellent, and if you’re traveling by train, it’s about a 3-minute walk from Yugawara Station. The convenient access is a plus, and I also like that the baths can be used for day trips. The meals are delicious, the staff are pleasant, and I enjoy the quiet atmosphere throughout the Hotel. I’d like to visit again.

We stayed here with my daughter’s family. The Onsen, the meals, and the service were all excellent. In particular, the staff’s kindness made us feel very at ease. The food was delicious and very generous in portion size—I ended up eating too much. It made for a wonderful Golden Week holiday. Thank you very much. Yubara Onsen is the best.

We stayed here for my mother’s birthday. I had arranged a fruit platter as an optional gift in advance, and there was also a thoughtful photo frame and message card in our Room, which made my mother very happy. Thank you for helping make it such a memorable birthday. Thanks to the proprietress’s many considerate touches, we had a comfortable and enjoyable trip. It was a truly wonderful Accommodation in every detail. The food and baths were excellent, and we were able to fully enjoy Shuzenji.

We have been staying at Inatori Ginsuiso for four generations, ever since my late mother. It is truly a wonderful Accommodation with exceptional charm. Above all, the hospitality of the staff is outstanding. From the time of our Reservation, they carefully accommodated my grandchild’s food allergies, the number of guests in our Room, dining table arrangements, and anniversary requests, which allowed us to visit with complete peace of mind. After arriving, we received a thorough explanation at the front desk and fully enjoyed the lounge, children’s stamp activities, and the pool and Onsen facilities. My grandchild especially loves feeding the many koi swimming energetically in the clear stream in the lobby, as well as enjoying delicious snacks and drinks in the scenic-view lounge. Since what’s offered changes by time slot, it always feels exciting. With long-standing services unchanged and new ones added over time, you can really feel Ginsuiso’s continuous efforts. As it was a family anniversary trip, we stayed for the first time in a premium suite Room with an open-air bath. The Room was beautifully prepared to perfection. With ample space and a thoughtfully designed layout, three generations were able to spend time together comfortably and happily without stress. They even delivered lounge snacks and drinks to our Room—such attentive service truly moved us. Soaking in the open-air bath while gazing at the moonlit sea view was an unforgettable luxury. At dinner, they connected tables so that all eight family members could sit together. We were able to celebrate milestones—70th birthday celebrations (Koki), a promotion, and Shichi-Go-San—with delicious cuisine and joyful conversation. When my grandchild spilled water, staff quickly wiped up the floor and brought a replacement yukata. Their warm consideration went far beyond simply serving food—we were impressed again. In addition, because it was an anniversary stay, Ginsuiso gave each of us a gift; we were filled with surprise and gratitude. After dinner came fireworks launched right in front of us on Level 6 along with a dessert buffet. From 10:00 p.m., there was night-time service with upgraded alcoholic beverages—truly impeccable hospitality from start to finish. The next morning we enjoyed an outstanding breakfast buffet with both incredible variety and flavor—we were completely satisfied. After that we continued to make full use of everything: our Room’s open-air bath, the pool(s), large public bath(s), and seaside pool(s), then checked out at 1:00 p.m. The moment we checked out we started thinking about when we could come back again. My grandchild was so sad about checking out that they cried... We will definitely be back again. Thank you very much to all of your staff.

The staff provided excellent service, from our arrival to meal service. The large public bath and the Room were very clean, and the food was delicious, making our stay very comfortable. It became a wonderful memory of our family trip. Thank you very much.

Although it is a large Hotel, it was very quiet. The Room was spacious, and the bathroom was also very large, with an open-air bath and a sauna, so the facilities were excellent. The service was great, and the free Shuttle Service was truly helpful. I would like to stay here again.

My family of three stayed in Sansuikaku’s Japanese-Western Room E. Since the Accommodation is located at the foot of a mountain, there are significant elevation changes throughout the property, including the parking area. They provided a Shuttle Service between the parking area and the Accommodation. The Room was new, and both the view and the open-air bath were wonderful. I also liked that the door closes slowly on its own. I felt so happy relaxing with a cup of coffee. The private open-air bath was clean and very nice as well. Dinner at the dining venue was delicious. The beef and matcha shiruko were especially good—I ate too much. Breakfast felt light, perhaps because it was summer; I wouldn’t have minded something a bit more classic. All staff members were pleasant, but after checkout I felt slightly rushed during the Shuttle Service to the parking area (perhaps they wanted to combine rides with other guests). We did want to leave promptly as well, so I would have appreciated being asked, “We can take you right now—what would you prefer?” As an aside, after returning home I learned that my favorite celebrity had stayed here too, which made it feel even more special. Thank you very much for taking care of us!

All of the meals were delicious. The Room had a wonderful view of the mountains and nature, which was very refreshing. All of the staff were kind and welcoming. The Room was thoroughly cleaned and very comfortable. The Onsen was great, but the changing area was hot because the air conditioning wasn’t working well. To get to the large public bath you need to go down a few stairs, so it would be nice if an elevator could take you right to the entrance. The welcome-drink coffee in the lobby was very tasty, but I would be even happier if it were free. The honey apple vinegar in front of the restaurant was freely available and very delicious. The ropeway is right in front of the Hotel, and there is also a Lawson convenience store and souvenir shops nearby, which made it very convenient. The hot spring water was excellent and offered great value for money—overall, it was a truly wonderful Hotel. Thank you very much!

Although the building is old, it is very well cleaned and the hospitality is excellent, so I think this is an Accommodation you can be truly satisfied with. It was also fun and nostalgic to be able to contact the front desk using a telephone you don’t see these days—perhaps making good use of the property’s vintage charm. One small thing: the yukata brought to me because the size didn’t fit had a slight odor that concerned me a bit. That said, I may simply be overly sensitive. In any case, the service is outstanding, and every staff member provided wonderful hospitality. I was deeply impressed by their thoughtful attention to detail. By chance there was a festival that day and we were able to watch fireworks; they even told us the best viewing spot, which made it a great memory. Thank you very much. As for the meals, the rice was cooked perfectly and delicious. The side dishes were excellent as well, but especially how good the rice was stood out. One suggestion: if the green onions in the breakfast miso soup could be lightly cooked in advance, then warming it at the table would make it even tastier—I felt they sometimes didn’t cook through enough with table heating alone. Still, overall everything was extremely delicious. This is an Accommodation I will definitely want to stay at again when I visit Kaminoyama Onsen.

All the staff were incredibly friendly, and they even saw us off at the end, which made us feel wonderful. At breakfast, we enjoyed local Shinshu flavors such as mushrooms and ended up eating a lot.

It was a Room with an open-air bath, looking up at Gifu Castle and gazing down at the gentle flow of the Nagara River. We didn’t use the rooftop open-air bath or the large public bath—the in-Room open-air bath alone was more than enough. We also got to experience cormorant fishing, which made it feel truly special. Breakfast seemed to be Japanese-style only (?), but that was absolutely the right choice—it was delicious. It made me think, “I want to live in this Room!”

I found this Accommodation while looking for a nearby place to stay on our way to Kamikochi. It’s a wonderful Accommodation in a quiet mountain village, and everything—the atmosphere, the meals, and the Onsen—was extremely satisfying. We visited with children, and I really appreciate their thoughtfulness, such as preparing the largest Room for us. Although it was near the end of the season, we were able to join the free firefly viewing event and saw about 10 fireflies—it was truly moving!! The Hida beef in the meal was tender, sweet, and absolutely delicious! The Onsen includes both simple spring water and mildly alkaline water; neither has a strong scent or feel, so it’s very refreshing. Some people might find it just slightly hot. The Room was spacious and relaxing, and even in late July it was cool at night—we could turn off the air conditioner, open the windows, and sleep comfortably. We will definitely be back!! *The only thing I noticed: I’m not sure whether it’s due to prefectural policy or the Accommodation’s policy, but there were many foreign staff members (Southeast Asian) working in the dining area. They were friendly and very kind so it didn’t bother us at all, but some guests may feel differently. If you’re concerned, you may want to contact them in advance.*

Sorry for the late review, but we had such a wonderful stay that I wanted to share it. The staff were incredibly kind, and that alone made us feel we chose the right Hotel. In particular, during meals (the buffet), the staff greeted us with warm smiles and made dining truly pleasant. Of course, the food was delicious as well. The shop staff were also very welcoming. Even though it was close to closing time, we never felt rushed, and I enjoyed shopping in a relaxed way while chatting with them. As for the Facility, there was a drink bar just outside the bath area, and it was great to be able to sample small amounts of various alcoholic drinks such as beer and shochu. Our family of five stayed here, and every one of us was satisfied. Thank you very much.
