Thank you very much for August 14. The Room was clean, and I felt comfortable staying there with peace of mind. The cleaning was thorough down to every corner, which made it very pleasant. Please extend my appreciation to the housekeeping staff for their hard work. I think the front desk staff do an excellent job. Their explanations were polite and easy to understand. They also took great care of my luggage, which made me feel very reassured. Thank you as always. I look forward to staying again next time. Thank you very much for today.

The female staff member at check-in was very pleasant. Since I only came back to the Hotel to sleep, I honestly wasn’t expecting much, but the Room was clean, and although the bath was small, the temperature was just right. The kamameshi for breakfast was also delicious. Overall, it was very good for me. I’d like to stay here again when I travel to Suwa. Thank you for your hospitality.

This is the best Accommodation in the Okuhida Onsen area. The value for money is outstanding. We really enjoyed the open-air bath in the Room, the private open-air bath, and the lounge area after bathing. This was our second stay.

Thank you always for your wonderful hospitality. While many Accommodations have changed before and after COVID, I can truly relax with peace of mind knowing the quality here is consistently the same whenever I visit. The cuisine delighted my eyes, satisfied my palate, and deeply moved me. The hot spring was excellent, and the Room was exceptionally comfortable. This time, for the first time, I encountered deer and wild boar and felt the mystical power of nature as well. Thank you for such a wonderful escape from everyday life. I look forward to visiting again.

I stayed in a newly renovated Room with an open-air bath. The Room was spacious, and the open-air bath was large enough to relax in comfortably, which was great. The food was carefully prepared and very delicious.

I stay here almost every year. Part of the lobby floor has been renovated and now features a dark-brown themed space. It gives a great impression as well, but personally I also liked the pre-renovation atmosphere that felt like a long-established Hotel. The souvenir shop has been downsized, and it seems the number of items for sale has decreased, which was a little disappointing. I hope you will bring back the zodiac “Okiagari Koboshi” dolls for sale again. (Buying that year’s zodiac doll here was one of my annual highlights.) As always, the staff were wonderful—efficient and consistently attentive—and I truly wish staff at other Hotel brands would learn from their professionalism. This time I stayed in the Rainbow Wing. With large windows letting in plenty of light, the room was very bright, and the evening view of Hakone-Yumoto Station from the window was beautiful. The Onsen felt like proof that Yumoto Fujiya Hotel remains an authentic Onsen Ryokan, and I was able to relax deeply. I hope the outdoor corridor leading to the Onsen will return as part of the main route again, like it was a few years ago. The day’s humidity in Yumoto and the sound of insects coming from among the trees make it feel like a truly special corridor. The post-bath lounge was very comfortable (including air conditioning), and I ended up staying there for quite a while. It might be convenient to have a change machine near the paid massage chairs. Once again, everything—from check-in until leaving this Accommodation—was extremely comfortable.

A last-minute trip to Izu came up, and we stayed for two nights. We were extremely satisfied with the hospitality that far exceeded our expectations, the well-trained staff, the clean Room, and the delicious meals. Since we stayed in a Room with an open-air Onsen bath, we did not use the public bath, but everything was well maintained and it was a very satisfying trip. We will visit again.

Because our Room was on the 2nd floor, we were disappointed that we couldn’t see the koi in the pond. My wife is pregnant, and it was difficult because it was a long walk to the elevator. Not only in the garden but also around the open-air bath in the large public bath, many decorative stones were placed throughout, which made it very relaxing. I thought it was very rare to have an outdoor cold plunge bath for the sauna. Next time, we’d like to stay at the Ryokan longer and relax in the open-air bath.

We enjoyed a Multiple Night Stay in the Sukiya-style Room, Futaba Aoi. It was a wonderful Room, filled with the owner’s and Nakamura Sotoji Komuten’s attention to detail in every corner. Both the Western-style room and the in-room bath were very comfortable, and we were able to relax completely. Since Arima’s Onsen town is compact, we took a walk in the morning and then fully enjoyed the Onsen at our Accommodation from the afternoon onward. Even though it was a leisurely trip, time flew by.

This was our first trip to Shuzenji, and staying at Goyokan made it a truly wonderful journey. Thank you very much to all the staff. The building has a charming Showa-retro atmosphere, and the stairways are decorated with goldfish paintings throughout. A staff member told us about the fun of spotting hidden telescope-eye goldfish, so we enjoyed exploring as we walked around the property. The Room was also spacious, and we were able to relax from the moment we arrived. Since our Room faced the road, next time we would love to stay in a river-side Room. We used two of the three types of baths. The open-air bath felt great in the nice weather, and the rock bath was spacious and very relaxing. The meals were delicious as well—sukiyaki for dinner, and dried fish and black rice porridge for breakfast. However, since we both have small appetites, we feel sorry that we couldn’t finish everything. Everyone on staff was truly pleasant, and they chatted with us in such an enjoyable way that it made our time even more special. Thank you very much.

We stayed for one night with breakfast and dinner included. We originally planned to stay with No Meals Included, but after reading the Reviews we changed to the two-meal plan. Just as the Reviews said, the crab, Korean dishes, and breakfast were all amazing. The portions were more than generous, everything was delicious, and we were very satisfied. The owner told us what time the sun would set, and we were able to watch it from a spot just a short walk from the Hotel. The washing area in the bath was tatami-matted, which felt surprisingly comfortable. The Hotel itself may be a bit old-fashioned, but our Room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Music that people in their 40s and 50s likely listened to when they were younger was playing throughout the building, which I personally really enjoyed as well. As mentioned in other Reviews, the owner was very friendly and easygoing, so we had a great time. Using points let us stay at a great price—excellent value for money. This is an Accommodation I’d love to stay at again with breakfast and dinner included when visiting Yamagata.

The staff greeted us with warm smiles. They informed us about the chance to see fireflies at night, and when we went to check it out after our bath, we were amazed by the numerous fireflies. We also appreciated that the lighting was dimmed for better viewing. The Room was spacious, and both the private bath and large public bath were excellent.

Everything—from the service and the Hotel’s interior design to the teppanyaki and even the smallest details in the guest room—was perfect. It was a truly moving and wonderful stay.

We stayed here for the first time just after New Year’s, and my spouse, our dog, and I were all very satisfied—so we came back again four months later. Everything was excellent: truly pet-first, wonderful staff hospitality, great meals, and relaxing baths. Modern stylish Accommodations are nice too, but we really love Kinugawa’s charming retro atmosphere… We’re already planning our third visit this year… We’ll be coming all the way from Izu (lol). I stayed here with my parents and cousin. It was my first time in Kurokawa Onsen, and it’s a truly wonderful place. Among the many Accommodations, “Yamamizuki” was a Ryokan that left us extremely satisfied. [Setting & Baths] The rain we had been worried about never came, so we were able to relax and take our time. Since it was the perfect season, we were moved to be able to watch fireflies from the bath. I also recommend visiting in June. [Meals] Both the portion size and taste were ideal. Rather than the over-the-top extravagance that can be common at a Ryokan, the dishes felt genuinely “just right,” with thoughtful attention throughout. [Hospitality & Service] There seemed to be many international staff members, but their sincerity really came through, and their service was pleasant. With a comfortable sense of distance—not too close, not too far—the hospitality was also exactly “just right.” My parents and cousin were delighted as well, which I think says it all. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

Because I rarely have the chance to travel with family or close friends, I usually travel alone. Soaking in the Onsen helps me clear my mind. Enjoying delicious food is a true happiness. What’s more, Shin Tsuta brings me peace, so I return again and again. This is very important to me. The sense of calm and fulfillment I feel is thanks to the warmth and character of each and every member of your staff. That calm and fulfillment also makes me feel as if it restores my purity. When I get home, I already want to go back to Shin Tsuta—like when I was young, after seeing my sweetheart and returning to the dormitory, I immediately wanted to see them again.

My monthly staycation is usually at a Hotel in my local Minato Mirai area, but this time I went a bit farther to Hotel Indigo Gora. I drove there alone, and the winding mountain roads in Hakone were a little tiring. I arrived before check-in and planned to relax at the footbath, but as soon as I parked in the outdoor lot in front of the Hotel, a staff member came right away and helped with my luggage. The welcome drink and Umaibo snack were a nice touch, and being able to check in comfortably while seated is one of those pleasures you expect from a Hotel of this class. When I entered my Room with the staff’s guidance, I couldn’t help saying, “Beautiful!” out loud. It’s a compact Hotel with around 100 rooms, but the Japanese-modern design—combining a raised tatami area with beds—was truly charming. I usually prefer modern Hotels, but this stay reminded me how calming and appealing Japanese-modern style can be. For dinner, I ordered à la carte at the on-site restaurant. The shrimp, scallops, and abalone in the bouillabaisse were surprisingly tender; the burrata was rich and paired perfectly with tomato and basil. The white wine went down easily. Since I don’t eat much, I also appreciated having à la carte options instead of only set courses. The bath in my Room was spacious, and I was able to fully enjoy the Onsen at leisure. The breakfast buffet also impressed me in both variety and quality—especially the green beans dressed with sesame sauce, which tasted far better than anything I could make at home. Even as someone who eats lightly (and can be picky), it was more than satisfying. The hospitality from everyone on staff was excellent, and the entire property was beautiful and comfortable. It was a wonderful Hotel that made me want to return again.

The Room, the bath, and the private bath were all great. The food was also excellent. There was a fireworks festival, and it was close to the venue so we could see it well. We will stay again.

The services were excellent, but what impressed us even more was the warm hospitality and thoughtful care throughout our stay! Every staff member we met was kind and welcoming, and we truly had a heartwarming time. There were plenty of complimentary drinks and snacks (the summer water service was especially appreciated). We stayed with three preschool-aged children, and even when they got excited, a bit noisy, or fussy, the staff never showed any displeasure—always smiling, speaking gently to them, and offering help whenever they noticed we might be struggling. The team at the front desk, dining area, Onsen area—everyone was wonderful. They were also very courteous when I called in advance with several questions. We chose this Accommodation to visit LEGOLAND Japan and Oyatsu Town, and we definitely want to stay again! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious! It’s located in a place where you can really feel nature, and the Onsen with scenic views made for a relaxing time. This trip reminded me that meeting kind people makes travel so much more fulfilling.

A friend recommended this place for its Yumoto free-flowing hot spring water, and choosing it was absolutely the right decision. There was a small mix-up at check-in, but the staff handled it so graciously that I truly appreciate it. From our Room, we could see the entire Onsen Shrine across the way. The hot spring water was flawless—it warmed me to the core, and my skin feels great as well. The lobby had plenty of books, and by chance we were even able to enjoy a live performance—nothing but good things. I’d love to visit again if I have the opportunity. Thank you for your hospitality.
