With only up to seven Rooms, it wasn’t crowded, and I was able to relax and unwind in the Onsen in peace. The service was polite and very good. Please note that amenities are available for a fee (toothbrush: 100 yen, yukata: 500 yen, etc.). Meals are not included, but there is a kitchen space where you can cook freely. It would have been even better if the Room had something like Febreze.

This Accommodation was the main purpose of our trip. From the front desk, it’s a stylish space. There is a restroom and bath on the first floor, and a living room, kitchen, and bedroom on the second floor. When you enter the Room, the entryway is filled with a lovely aroma scent. The overall design—wood with gray, green, and navy tones—was very calming. The pillars, beams, and window glass make use of older materials while everything still feels beautifully designed! Thoughtful details like linen cloths, incredibly comfortable pajamas for sleeping, and delicious coffee were also outstanding. It seems difficult to cook elaborate meals in the kitchen, but you can prepare simple dishes. There is also a supermarket nearby. We went to a nearby Italian trattoria (Trattoria OB) on the first night, then made an easy meal on the second night and enjoyed wine at a relaxed pace. We had seen Reviews mentioning insects might appear, but perhaps because of the season we didn’t encounter any. You can also use the lounge at their affiliated Hotel “Toyooka 1925.” We used it three times; it wasn’t crowded and we could relax comfortably each time. “Toyooka 1925” is also a stylish space. We were able to spend slow time without using TV or internet—it was two very satisfying days for us.

We stayed here to celebrate her birthday. Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day of our stay. Even so, the location was beautiful, and we were very satisfied. The amenities were plentiful, and they kindly accommodated our requests. Thank you very much. It’s an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again. Perfect for spending a special day.

We were able to fully enjoy the quiet, slow passage of time in the forest. The ceramics displayed like art pieces can also be used to serve food! A cottage in the woods that offers an experience you rarely get elsewhere. Thank you for a luxurious, soothing stay by the wood-burning stove. We’d love to visit again in a different season.

This stylish, spotless, and truly wonderful entire-home Accommodation was amazing!!! Even with small children, you can relax without worrying about making noise. We stayed as three generations. There were kids’ cups and plates, and even toys, so we could unwind comfortably like at home. It’s also conveniently located for visiting Shikoku Aquarium, New Reoma World, and Kotohira Shrine, and you can enjoy a meal at a nearby honetsuki-dori restaurant. It turned into the best family trip. Thank you so much!

I stayed at an Accommodation in Dogo Onsen. It had a calm atmosphere, and I was able to relax and take my time. What I especially appreciated was the private bath. I could enjoy the Onsen without worrying about others, and it helped soothe my travel fatigue. In addition, pleasant music from analog records played in the hallways, and the refined scent of incense drifted through the building, making the entire property a wonderfully peaceful space. This is an Accommodation where you can enjoy not only the Onsen but also the sounds and aromas—showing great attention to detail. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Dogo Onsen. I stayed here because it was advertised as free-flowing hot spring water. On the day of arrival, the temperature was just right and very comfortable, but the next morning it was extremely cold. I waited until just before check-out for it to warm up, but it didn’t get hot and I had to bathe while it was still lukewarm. I wanted to enjoy it at a comfortable temperature. The Room was very stylish. Even though I arrived early, you allowed me to use the Room, which was a great help. Thank you very much.

The Japanese-style room was relaxing and pleasant.

The building itself shows signs of aging, but: * Unlimited access to natural Onsen with free-flowing hot spring water * Friendly and kind staff * Private rooms with futons already laid out, equipped with a TV, kettle, and sufficient amenities * Daily towel exchange even with eco-cleaning requests, plus complimentary water for choosing eco-cleaning * Convenient laundry facilities including washing machines and dryers * Excellent access from both the airport and tram If I visit Hakodate again, I would love to stay here. The Room and Onsen were flawless! The shower pressure is extremely weak, so it might be tough in midwinter. Since I visit Yufuin often, the location is convenient—no trouble whether you want to go out for meals or buy food to eat. You can even walk to Lake Kinrin as a nice stroll. The refrigerator and microwave are shared, so please keep that in mind when shopping or storing souvenirs. It’s an Accommodation I’d definitely like to stay at again!

Close to the business destination and the most affordable option in the area, I chose this accommodation for a rare opportunity to stay at Arima Onsen. Although I was slightly concerned due to unclear reviews and parking inquiries beforehand, the customer service was excellent—polite and kind. They also promptly issued a proof of stay upon request, which was very helpful. Guests staying at Hataya can use the onsen at Kamioobo, and their guidance regarding this was very thorough and pleasant. The onsen itself is old but atmospheric, located in an underground-like setting. Since it was late at night when I visited, there were few people (I had it all to myself), making it a relaxing experience. The guest room in the accommodation was clean and well-maintained. Being sensitive to smells, I appreciated that there were no unpleasant odors—just a traditional Japanese scent that added charm. The location is excellent: about a 3-minute walk from the famous Kin-no-Yu bathhouse, with convenience stores nearby as well as restaurants and souvenir shops within close proximity. As for drawbacks: - The smoking area is only available in a narrow space near the entrance, which could inconvenience those entering or exiting. - The walls are quite thin; sounds from neighboring rooms are noticeable, requiring extra consideration not to disturb others. - While there’s a desk and chair provided on wooden flooring near them (which amplifies noise), combined with limited space due to having a refrigerator nearby made working challenging—I ended up using the low table instead. This place may not be ideal for business purposes but poses no issues otherwise for leisure stays. Lastly—and not specific just here—accessing parking by car requires caution as roads in central Arima Onsen are narrow; pre-checking directions thoroughly is essential since some paths can make maneuvering difficult if you get lost. Despite listing several concerns above, my overall experience felt like an escape from daily life—it left me appreciating its charm even more after returning home!

The Room was spacious and comfortable even for a large group. It’s in a perfect location for strolling, right in front of Yumotozaka and Kin-no-Yu, and the service was excellent—we were very satisfied. However, we felt there weren’t enough places to hang the amenity towels. Also, since there are only sheer curtains, you may wake up early in the morning depending on the season.

The property faces Oyu Street in the heart of Nozawa Onsen, with the Accommodation entrance just steps away. It’s also conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the Nagasaka Gondola. The parking lot is about a 3-minute walk from the building, but for the Nozawa Onsen area it offers plenty of spaces. Depending on where you park, it may not be possible to pull your car out immediately, but if you share your schedule in advance they will accommodate you. Inside, there are two private baths: a free-flowing natural hot-spring Onsen (direct from the source) and an ion bath. The Onsen is just like the public baths in town, and because it’s private, it’s perfect for anyone who wants to soak and relax at their own pace. The ion bath has a generator in the tub that creates bubbling water; it feels refreshing after enjoying the Onsen and is also highly recommended. Both the common areas and guest rooms reflect the owner’s attention to detail, creating a fun space that feels different from a typical hot-spring Ryokan. You can also access the café and shop facing Oyu Street directly from inside, making it easy to stop for tea or do some shopping.

Although old, it was clean, and the service was excellent! There were other guests, but it was very quiet and comfortable accommodation. I was concerned about insects in the room, but considering the abundance of nature, it seemed unavoidable. The bath was just big enough for two people. (We knew in advance that it would be small, so there were no issues!) There was a self-service morning coffee available!

A one-night stay for a couple in their 60s. While we usually stay at hotels, this time we chose a vacation rental, which allowed us to act at our own pace without worrying about others. The property is located away from nearby houses, and the entire accommodation was clean and well-maintained. The parking space can accommodate two cars side by side or up to four standard-sized cars if parked in tandem. The place was very spacious and beautifully maintained—truly luxurious for just the two of us. Thank you so much! On the second floor, there are two Japanese-style rooms with mattresses that had just the right firmness and thickness for a comfortable sleep. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Lake Toya!
