The food, the massage treatment, the Onsen, the clean Room, and the warm hospitality of the owner and his wife—everything was outstanding, and we were completely satisfied. I’ve had massages near my workplace before, but a professional treatment and technique are on a completely different level. Thank you very much. We will definitely come again.

As a reward for my eldest daughter’s junior high school entrance exams, I stayed with a mom friend and our children—five females in total. The view from the Accommodation was amazing, both the ocean during the day and the illuminated scenery at night—so open and refreshing. There were generous amounts of welcome snacks, mineral water, alcohol, and amenities provided—it was truly impressive!! The pool was a perfectly sufficient size for what felt like a private pool, and the kids had a great time. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days, but we left wishing we could have enjoyed it even more—it was hard to say goodbye. The staff who assisted us were incredibly quick to respond; it really surprised me. Thank you very much. It was a bit of a splurge for our family, but if we have another chance, we would love to stay again.

It was an absolutely amazing stay. I was truly impressed by the outstanding, well-equipped Facility that anticipated every need. The staff were very considerate with the luggage we sent in advance, prepared a pool for the children, and even when an accident happened, their first words were to check on us. Talking with friends around the barbecue, setting off fireworks with the kids under the sunset sky, and looking up at the stars late at night—every moment became a wonderful memory. My only regret is that because it was so hot, we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor facilities outside the cottage, such as basketball and the trampoline. We will definitely visit again next year. I had long wanted to visit Akazawa Guest House, and this time I was able to stay there with my son and his wife. The exterior is wonderful, but once inside, I was amazed to see platinum used throughout the walls and other details. It was a beautiful space with clear attention paid to every element. The pampas grass in the courtyard was especially memorable, and we were able to relax and enjoy a peaceful break from everyday life while feeling the charm of the season. Everything—the Room, the meals, and the atmosphere throughout the Accommodation—was of course excellent, but what stayed with me most was the warm hospitality of all the staff. My daughter-in-law is pregnant, and they kindly accommodated our requests in advance with great care. They prepared extra pillows in our Room and thoughtfully adjusted her meals as well, which we truly appreciated. In particular, the staff member who served our meals had such a lovely smile. Their service was both attentive and genuinely warm, which made us feel very at ease. The staff member who took photos for us also went beyond what we asked for, discreetly looking out for us so we could enjoy ourselves even more. Their thoughtfulness meant a lot to us. Of course it is an exceptional space with a sense of luxury, but even more than that, I felt that the detailed and heartfelt hospitality of everyone working there makes this Accommodation even more special. I am truly happy that we were able to spend such precious family time at Akazawa Guest House. On our way home, my son’s family and I said to each other, “Let’s come again.” Thank you very much for giving us such a memorable stay. We would love to visit again.

When you stay at this Hotel, you can use the adjacent Nara Kenko Land for two days: the day of your stay and the following day. On the night I stayed, I couldn’t fall asleep, so I spent time in the relaxation lounge with manga until 1:00 a.m. It was great that I could read manga late at night and, when I got sleepy, take the elevator back to my Room—it was so close and convenient. I also really enjoyed the baths and sauna!

We stayed to celebrate the youngest of our three sons’ birthday—this was about our fifth visit. The room has evolved into a family room, and with the slide, swing, and bouldering wall, they played nonstop. All three were very happy and said they want to come again and stay again. Thank you as well to K for taking such great care of us during our meals—it made the memories even more special. Next time, we’d love to visit for our second son’s birthday. Thank you in advance.

We stayed with one dog and a family of four. As soon as we entered the Room, everyone said, “So clean!” The bathroom, kitchen, toilet, and other water areas were spotless and wonderful. The living room, bedroom, and garden were also comfortable, all the Facility was well equipped, and the thoughtful touches were excellent. Time flew by so quickly that next time we’d like to stay for two nights. The person managing the property was very pleasant as well—it made for a great summer vacation!

It was a very clean and relaxing Hotel. The service was courteous, and it’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again. There are plenty of activities for children, so everyone from kids to adults will be very satisfied. Since there is a lot to explain at check-in, it’s understandable that it takes time for each guest, but there were only two staff members assisting, so a long line formed. I think it would be even better if this could be improved.

We stayed here on a couples’ trip. The welcome pizza was incredibly delicious, and even though we asked for seconds many times, the staff kindly baked fresh pizzas for us each time with a smile. Thank you very much. Perhaps because there were many families with children, our bathing times didn’t overlap, so even though we used the bath several times, we never shared it with anyone and were able to relax as if it were private. This was my fault, but the pizza was so good that I ate too much and ended up leaving some of my dinner, which I felt sorry about. I thought it would be nice to have an option with a smaller dinner portion. The dessert contained peaches, and when I declined due to my allergy, they offered to prepare an assortment of seasonal fruits instead. Since I’m allergic to fruit in general, I had to decline as well, but I truly appreciated their thoughtful consideration. Breakfast was also very delicious and satisfying. We would definitely like to stay again.

Unfortunately, due to cloudy and rainy weather, we couldn’t see the starry sky, but we’re already thinking about when to come back for another try. There was a warm, homey atmosphere among guests as well—people asked questions and helped each other out. The drink corner was a great idea, but even after trying many times, no ice came out, and there were a few things that were unclear. An elderly guest seemed troubled because the coffee wouldn’t stop dispensing. I think it would be helpful to post easy-to-understand instructions. At mealtimes, the staff serving us were all foreigners, but they were very polite. Their Japanese was quite limited at times so we didn’t always understand what they said, but we could generally guess from the context and had no issues. One thing that stood out compared with other hotels I’ve stayed at: since it’s a quiet Hotel I thought this might be normal here, but I was surprised that none of the staff said “good morning” to guests in the morning. When my husband passed by the front desk he greeted them first; they may not have heard him, but they were chatting among themselves and didn’t greet guests even as people walked right in front of them. In contrast, the foreign staff in the restaurant—even with limited Japanese—did say “good morning.” Also, the Onsen was wonderful, but there is no fan in the changing room. Having one would help guests cool down more easily and might reduce crowding there. The large public bath and open-air bath are very comfortable and warm you up well. The green view from the open-air bath—and in the morning, clouds or mist drifting over the mountains—felt truly unique. The meals were a good portion size and showed creativity within their price range. Dinner offered an enjoyable mix of Japanese- and Western-style dishes with plenty of variety. Breakfast was buffet-style with many options including both Western and Japanese items as well as desserts; everyone seemed to be enjoying it. The highland area is beautiful—it feels like it could even become a villa resort area someday. We also visited Relaxia Forest next to the Hotel (apparently used as a movie filming location). It’s a lovely forest where we could enjoy forest bathing too. There don’t seem to be any other Hotels around this area, so we’d like to stay again.

The property, amenities, and hospitality were all excellent, and we happened to be able to watch fireflies as well, making our stay extremely satisfying.

We stayed with three families and one dog. The place was spotless, the Facilities were well equipped, and we were extremely satisfied! The BBQ, pool, and sauna were all amazing. The high fence meant we didn’t have to worry about the surroundings at all. We’ve stayed at various dog-friendly villas before, but this one is the best.

We stayed as a family. We really appreciated being able to freely enjoy the welcome drinks and snacks, video games, massage chairs, and more without it feeling overcrowded. The table tennis and darts were also available 24 hours whenever they were open, and since no Reservation was required, it was easy to join in and we enjoyed them many times. It was also nice to have services like cooling sheets and face masks, and we were happy to find a ReFa hair dryer as well. Dinner was delicious—the half buffet and seafood barbecue were so good, with more than enough food. In the morning there was limited-time seafood that we could make into a rice bowl, plus the famous fried oysters, fruit, sweets—everything was excellent and we were extremely satisfied. The Room was lovely and comfortable, and this is a Hotel we would like to stay at again. Thanks to you, it became a truly memorable and fun trip. Thank you very much.

This large 11-story resort suddenly appeared as we drove along a rural mountain road. The building was clean and didn’t feel old at all. The Japanese-Western style Room was also very practical. The Onsen is a simple hot spring, but both the indoor and outdoor baths are spacious. At the back of the large open-air bath, there were various small tubs that looked like they had bath additives in them, which was fun in its own way. Meals were served buffet-style in a large restaurant. There was an incredible variety of dishes, and there was quite a long line in front of the Western food counter. It seems great for families with children to enjoy dining, but for older guests it’s hard to eat that much and tiring to walk around, so I wished there had been a set menu option. As a Diamond member benefit, we received a full-size bottle of sparkling wine and finished it, but it was too much for just the two of us as a couple. It would have been nice if we could choose something like two cans of beer instead.

We stayed as a family with children. The kids were thrilled with both the pool and the jacuzzi! Both were warm, so we could enjoy them comfortably even when it wasn’t midsummer. The BBQ area was also well equipped with plenty of amenities and supplies, so we had everything we needed to enjoy BBQ without any inconvenience. The optional BBQ set ingredients we ordered were very delicious. We woke up early in the morning and fully enjoyed the pool with the kids. They also happily played with the garden trampoline, balls, and other play equipment. The garden was spacious enough for the children to run around freely, and they played a lot and were completely satisfied. One night wasn’t enough to do everything, so next time we definitely want to stay for a Multiple Night Stay.

The front desk, the welcoming entrance, the views, the baths, and the staff were all wonderful. This was my first stay, but it’s a Ryokan I’d love to visit again. A few points I’d like to see improved: Regarding payment and the “Come Again Fukushima” Plan, I thought it would apply, but it turned out that only on-site payment was eligible and online payment was not. The application process is confusing, so it would be helpful if it were made clearer. There is no ramp at Fujita-no-Yu, so I would really appreciate it if one could be installed. I was truly comforted by the staff’s warm and natural greetings. I’m glad I could talk about local topics with the person who took care of our dinner. Thank you very much.

I found this site and, as a birthday gift for my wife, I splurged more than on our usual trips and made a Reservation for the “Shinshu Beef Tasting Kaiseki” on the Sky Comfort Floor. When we checked in, thanks to the Hotel’s consideration, we were upgraded to a Luxury Suite at no extra charge. It was truly eye-opening. That alone would have been more than enough, but dinner—the “Shinshu Beef Tasting Kaiseki”—was also outstanding: sweet and tender beef, a rich aroma, and exceptional hospitality. This has definitely become one of the Hotels we want to return to. Thank you very much. My wife was delighted as well. The open-air bath was also wonderful—just like in the photos on the site—and incredibly relaxing.

The necessary amenities were prepared in the room, which was reassuring. The location, twin room, service, Onsen, and breakfast were all comfortable at this Hotel. During our 4-night trip to Eastern Hokkaido, this was the most comfortable stay.

We stayed at the very end of summer vacation, and everything was wonderful—the meals, the baths, the renovated Room, and the excellent service from all staff. During meals, we often saw how thoughtfully they looked out for our young children, and the front desk staff were also very kind, making our stay truly pleasant. We had almost given up on using the pool because of the rain, but it cleared up on checkout day, so we were able to fully enjoy both the pool and the slide—our kids were thrilled. Thank you as well to the staff member watching over the pool for regularly skimming leaves and sharing helpful information. It was a perfect way to end summer vacation, and our whole family is very satisfied with these great memories. We will definitely visit again. Thank you for a wonderful time!

This time, I stayed two nights on the Mojiko side, then took the ferry across to the Shimonoseki side for one night. It was a very sunny and hot day, but Karato Market, the Karato Ferry Terminal, Kaikyokan (Shimonoseki Aquarium), Hai! Karatto Yokocho (a small amusement park), and RISONARE are all lined up in the same area, so it’s great that you can enjoy everything within walking distance. On top of that, the Hotel offers plenty of kid-friendly activities such as the pufferfish pool and pufferfish beach, and the little ones looked like they were having a wonderful time. I also saw families staying with three generations together—this seems like an excellent choice for family trips. As for me, it was a solo trip for one night, so I treated myself to a full pufferfish Italian course at Otto Sette in the dining room (the aperitif was served on the terrace at sunset before moving into the dining room!). I also enjoyed a relaxing resort stay in a new and comfortable Room while taking in views of the Kanmon Straits. In the morning, I started my walk before dawn along Arukaport Promenade by the sea in front of the Hotel. With cool sea breezes and gradually brightening skies over the Kanmon Straits, I walked past Karato Market to Sister City Plaza at the end of the promenade to watch sunrise. Then I returned along the same path back to the Hotel and joined “Sea Breeze Stretch” on Namunami Terrace with its beautifully kept lawn. After that came an incredible breakfast buffet with so many options it was hard to choose—I enjoyed it right up to my limit. At PUKU PUKU’s breakfast buffet, kawara soba, seafood marinated rice bowls, and French toast are must-haves—go hungry. Even though it was only one night, it felt incredibly fulfilling. I’d love to come back—and now I want to visit other RISONARE properties too. Also, even if you make a Reservation here, it’s convenient that you can log in on their official website using your Reservation Number and arrange meals and activities online in advance.
