We usually travel as a couple a few times a year, mainly to Hakone, but this time we stayed one night at “Rinpo Kiryū” for our first family trip, including several celebrations. We have had the chance to visit many Accommodations, but we have never encountered one as wonderful as this—everything from start to finish was truly moving. We arrived about an hour before check-in time, yet we were warmly welcomed without hesitation. From the lovely commemorative photos for our celebration to the heartfelt message card with a photo, we were touched by the surprise hospitality and thoughtful care. We are genuinely grateful to have made so many unforgettable memories for our family trip. Thank you very much. Above all, what deserves special mention is the exceptional hospitality of the staff. From greeting us on arrival to seeing us off at the end, every moment was outstanding, and we were able to spend a truly relaxing time. Our assigned staff member was incredibly kind and always smiling; we enjoyed chatting with them, and our whole family was impressed by their attentive care down to the smallest details. The guidance around the property—like a paradise far removed from everyday life—was also thorough and considerate, and everyone we met greeted us with warm smiles that put us at ease. The Room was very spacious and kept beautifully clean. The bed was also ideal for us—comfortable without sinking in or feeling overly soft. (My wife is quite particular about beds and rarely says this at other Accommodations; I was surprised when she said she wanted to stay another night and didn’t want to go home yet.) During our stay, there was a private open-air Onsen bath exclusively for our Room with free-flowing water from 100% natural source spring water—no added water or heating—from the rare Dogashima Onsen source said to be “legendary,” so we could enjoy an Onsen soak anytime we liked. In addition, there is an indoor hinoki Onsen bath, a private sauna, and even a pool, which allowed our family to enjoy many different experiences together. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious; each dish was beautifully presented with great care and full of creative ideas from the chef. There were also many staff members on hand—the service felt perfect. In my experience so far, it’s rare to find an Accommodation where service is this attentive in every respect. More than anything else, being able to stay at “Rinpo Kiryū” became a wonderful experience for our family. Thank you again very much. We would love to visit again.

Unfortunately, we had a thunderstorm on the day of our stay, but we truly appreciated your nighttime safety check and your thoughtful gesture the next day. We were able to fully enjoy the pool and sauna. We were very satisfied! The Room was very clean, and our family enjoyed watching a movie on the projector. We want to come every year! We were very satisfied with both the Room and the meals. We have stayed at various Ryokan and Hotels considered fairly upscale, but here we especially felt every staff member’s genuine care and dedication to ensuring guests are happy—it was a wonderful experience. My wife also said she would like to come again.

The Room was spacious and had a veranda-like deck called the Tsukimidai, with a nice view and the ocean visible in the distance. Meals were served in the Room, and every dish was delicious—we finished everything at both breakfast and dinner. However, it was disappointing that the drinks in the refrigerator were expensive. The Onsen also felt very open; while I did wonder if it might be visible from somewhere, I was still able to bathe comfortably. Another bath area was spacious, and the water in the roofed open-air bath left my skin feeling moisturized like lotion. Inside the building, it seems to have been expanded many times over the years, so some areas are a bit confusing, and many guests seemed to get lost. There were only a few souvenirs for sale, and there were no Facilities such as karaoke or table tennis, but it had an old-fashioned Ryokan atmosphere that we really enjoyed.

We had a wonderful time. Thank you very much. If I could suggest improvements: I would be happy if there were a water dispenser. The inside of the microwave was broken. The kitchen stove heat was weak. Other than that, both the kids and adults were very satisfied. The pool was just the right size and we enjoyed it, and the sauna and cold plunge were easy to use. The view was great, and we had a really good time! We would like to visit again!

Ayanna Miyako was the Hotel I had absolutely wanted to stay at when traveling to Miyakojima. Because it’s such a wonderful Hotel, it was fully booked during Golden Week, but I joined the waitlist and managed to stay!! A few days before my stay, they called to confirm my arrival time and kindly asked if we were celebrating anything—if so, they could prepare a cake (additional fee). My stay was just before the rainy season began, and the weather was great. When I opened the Room door, there was a stylish interior leading out to the pool—and beyond that, a beautiful ocean view. Relaxing on a poolside chair with an Orion beer they had stocked in the fridge was truly the best!! I’ve stayed in Rooms with private pools before—on Okinawa’s main island, on another date in Miyakojima this trip, and even in Hakone—but personally, Ayanna Miyako is my favorite. Breakfast was beautifully set up as well, and the Eggs Benedict was outstanding! One thing to note: check-in and everything else (including breakfast reservations) were all handled via smartphone. However, they support you if you have any questions, so I think even those who aren’t comfortable with smartphones can feel at ease. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

The Facility is comfortable, and the staff are very attentive. I’m especially grateful that when taxis were busy and we were told it would be 30 minutes past checkout, we were waiting outside in the heat, and they kindly invited us to rest inside until the taxi arrived. We had small children and an elderly family member with us, so we truly appreciated it.

Conveniently located for getting around, with a spacious and clean Room and just the right Facility for a relaxing family stay. There are no excessive services, and the Room’s balcony is properly separated from neighboring balconies by walls, ensuring privacy. Next time, I’d like to book a Multiple Night Stay. Our group of nine across three families stayed for three nights, and it was a clean, spacious Hotel that everyone—from adults to children—could enjoy. It was well stocked with amenities, from essentials to thoughtful extras. We’re planning to visit Miyakojima again next year and would love to stay here again.

We stayed here two years ago and returned this time with two dogs and three family members, and once again everything was outstanding. The Room, garden, and pool were as spotless as if they were brand new—just as beautifully maintained as before. We were allowed to enter before check-in time, and the owner welcomed us warmly with a smile, saying “Welcome back.” Our dogs were thrilled from the moment we arrived—running around the garden in excitement and jumping into the pool right away. Last time we requested a barbecue, which came with plenty of local vegetables and premium steak, and breakfast was a generous menu featuring delicious eggs. This time we chose not to order meals because we wanted to try different restaurants nearby, so we walked to a place close by for fresh oysters and seafood rice bowls. The rock oysters were especially delicious, and my husband and daughter loved them. We also visited dog-friendly cafés and a seafood grill restaurant. There are supermarkets and many dining options nearby, which is very convenient. In the mornings and evenings we walked with our dogs to Kujukuri Beach; the wide sky and shoreline felt incredibly refreshing. We have stayed at other villas and Hotels, but this place is still the best. Pools where you can swim together with your dogs are rare, so we truly appreciate it—and we’re very grateful to the owner. The amenities are well stocked (including a washing machine and cooking utensils), cleanliness is exceptional, and everything is well managed—so even guests without dogs should be able to enjoy a wonderful holiday here. While relaxing by the illuminated pool at night, we decided to have some wine from the wine cellar—it was excellent. We had such a comfortable stay with our dogs during these two fulfilling nights that left us feeling refreshed. Thank you very much.

We stayed for two nights. There were four adults in one Room (Garden Twin), but even with four beds it didn’t feel cramped, and we were able to relax comfortably. Since it was a family trip, the spacious open closet was also great for preventing forgotten items. Each bed had its own power outlets, which was extremely convenient. We expected a garden-side Room, but we could also see the ocean from the balcony, which was wonderful. I also personally liked that you can choose only the services you need at check-in. Since I usually carry a water bottle, I really appreciated the water dispenser service available in the Hotel. We were able to enjoy plenty of delicious water. It would have been nice if the provided pitcher were a bit larger, but there were two so it wasn’t inconvenient. They were acrylic, so there was no worry about breaking when carrying them around, and they looked stylish as well. It was also fun to boil water in the cute De’Longhi thermos kettle and enjoy tea. As is common at many Resort Hotels these days, the pajamas here were very comfortable and helped me sleep soundly. A small detail, but both the Room trash bin and the bathroom trash bin had liners properly fitted, which made them easy to use. Breakfast around 8:00 was slightly crowded and there was some waiting time, but once we were seated we could relax at ease. We chose Western-style breakfast on day one and Japanese-style on day two; both were delicious and very filling. For dinner we chose BBQ, and on the second night they changed up the ingredients so we could enjoy something different. The carefully selected seafood and meat were all delicious, and there was more than enough food including rice and dessert. On the second night it felt like we had a private setting, and we truly appreciated all of the staff’s help. There is also a large public bath; it wasn’t an Onsen, but it was clean and relaxing, so we were satisfied. All of the staff members were pleasant as well—they spoke to us thoughtfully when needed without being intrusive—so we had a very comfortable stay. The Facility offerings and services felt just right—not too much or too little—and it felt like a Hotel where you can relax at your own pace. It rained on our first day, but early on our second morning there was sunshower weather and we got to see a rainbow. We’d love to come back in another season to enjoy both morning and evening ocean views again.

A relaxing Accommodation in a quiet setting away from the city. The Room includes a kitchen and is highly recommended for long-term stays, but there are no convenience stores or restaurants nearby. It is essential to buy anything you need in advance in the city or around the airport. A short path near the Accommodation leads to a peaceful beach—better suited for walking than swimming. At night, there are no surrounding lights, so you can enjoy a breathtaking sky full of stars. Breakfast is a Western-style one-plate meal with the same menu every day, so guests on a Multiple Night Stay may want to supplement it with additional items.

It was our first time traveling as three households with a large group, so we chose the private option. We weren’t sure how much would be provided, but everything we could possibly need was there, and it was incredibly easy to use—so comfortable. The moment we arrived, everyone kept saying “Amazing,” and the kids were thrilled. The pool in summer was fantastic. For the night pool, some insects do come by—and even a rhinoceros beetle came for a swim. We’ll definitely be back.

We stayed with three families and one dog. The place was spotless, the Facilities were well equipped, and we were extremely satisfied! The BBQ, pool, and sauna were all amazing. The high fence meant we didn’t have to worry about the surroundings at all. We’ve stayed at various dog-friendly villas before, but this one is the best.

I stayed here two years ago and it was amazing. This time, even though it was raining due to back-to-back typhoons, it didn’t matter at all—our stay was wonderful again. I heard the interior was fully renovated about a year and a half ago, and the Room has been updated with a modern feel. It’s stairs up to around the 5th floor, but each step is low, so getting around isn’t difficult. Our two dogs get excited the moment they arrive when they like an Accommodation, and they were thrilled this time as well. They even used the provided toilet just like at home. Since they’re timid, we didn’t use the dog run. I tried three Onsen baths, and all of them were perfect—the temperature was just right. The food is simply outstanding. The sashimi is expertly prepared, and there’s more than enough overall—I couldn’t finish everything. I especially love how Shiki no Kura serves abalone, and it was truly delicious again this time. Even compared with top Hotels and Ryokan across The whole country, this place ranks among the best. Breakfast was also excellent: a selection of side dishes that anyone would enjoy paired with rice cooked in a clay pot. The staff’s guidance and conversation were great, as were their thoughtful touches in the Room. After breakfast I took a nap and checked out at 11:00—honestly, I relaxed even more than my dogs did. The building itself does feel old in places; when I wiped the floor it came up dirty. But everywhere has something these days due to staffing shortages, so it didn’t bother me. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that prices fluctuate quite a bit during Kawazu cherry blossom season and other peak times. If it were always reasonably priced, I’d make this my regular go-to (laugh). I will definitely be back again.

My first time in Beppu Onsen. Everyone provided courteous service, and I was completely satisfied with all the Onsen facilities. If I had to mention one thing, as an older man I couldn’t figure out how to use the hair dryer. All the meals were delicious, but I would have been happy if there were a few more Kyushu-style dishes. If I have a chance to visit Beppu again, I’d like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

We stayed for 2 nights. The villa was very comfortable, and everywhere you look is picture-perfect. I think many guests stay here aiming for a photogenic experience, and in that respect you’ll definitely be satisfied. It would be perfect if you could catch the sunset too. Also, the Accommodation is quite visible from the main island side, so it was exciting when we spotted it. On the downside, you can just barely see the pool from the neighboring villa, and it’s a bit of a walk from the pool area to the bathroom. However, there are thoughtful touches—like speakers installed both indoors and outdoors that play acoustic guitar tracks—and features like a large garden. There are many points that set it apart from the villas that have been popping up all over Okinawa lately. Some Reviews mentioned lots of insects, but we hardly had any bugs come inside. On the contrary, there was a stag beetle on our pool float and that really made my day. A cat also came by to visit at night. We arrived in an Alphard; while the road leading to the Accommodation was surprisingly wide and easy to drive, the road right in front of the villa was narrow, and we had to make several back-and-forth adjustments to park. For check-in, a QR code was sent to our designated email address, but separately (from a different sender) an email with our Room number arrived from a Gmail domain. It went to spam, so at first we didn’t realize which Room we were supposed to enter. I’d prefer if they unified the sending address. Still, being able to complete everything contactlessly is appreciated. Also, drinks in the fridge are free, but we were told there would be no replenishment during a Multiple Night Stay. There is a vending machine on-site as well, but it doesn’t have alcohol—so keep that in mind.

It was a wonderful Accommodation. We stayed with five women and four children. Everything felt very clean, and even the amenities were branded, which got everyone excited! Everywhere you look is photo-worthy, and best of all, the BBQ while watching the sunset was amazing. It was still a bit chilly for the season, so we couldn’t use the pool, but we’d love to come back when it’s warmer. The staff were also very kind—thank you so much. It was an excellent Hotel with nothing to complain about.

The Hotel was excellent—better than I imagined. Breakfast offered plenty of Okinawan dishes, and I was very satisfied. I also made a Reservation for dinner, and the Shuttle Service to the main building made everything effortless. I had a wonderful time, and I was amazed at how beautiful the stars in the night sky were. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.
