We had a very satisfying stay. The room was clean, the bath was wonderful, and the meals—featuring local ingredients—were all delicious. Everything was truly excellent. Every staff member who assisted us was pleasant and kind, and it was a really wonderful stay. I had thought Dogo Onsen would be quite far away, but I’m glad we decided to go. My mother in her 90s was also very happy. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

I chose this hotel because I was drawn to its concept of embracing the whole town. I was impressed by how well you make use of the compact streetscape to offer a stay that can’t be experienced anywhere else. The staff member who guided us around the parking area and facilities after check-in was truly friendly and welcoming, making us feel very comfortable. It was a wonderful hotel that made me want to visit again. Thank you very much.

Needless to say, the Facility, amenities, and meals were wonderful—but above all, the hospitality was outstanding! From arrival to check-out, we received truly exceptional service. We chose this Accommodation mainly to visit Inuyama Castle, but next time we want to stay here as the main purpose of our trip. Thank you very much for everything.

I think this Accommodation is very comfortable for solo travelers. I was worried about using the bath because I wanted to use it as many times as I liked whenever I wanted, but I was able to enjoy it to my full satisfaction. Breakfast also offered a generous variety. It’s an Accommodation that makes you want to come back anytime. The shakuhachi performance was also a refreshing experience.

I love traveling solo to Onsen and visit places all over the whole country. I’d heard of Umegashima Onsen, but for some reason it had never been on my list—what a loss, haha. Last month I stayed at Umegashima Onsen for the first time (at a different Accommodation), and it quickly became one of my favorite Onsen. This time as well, it was great that they only accept a small number of guests and offer private reserved baths. That said, I like to soak in the Onsen whenever I want as many times as I like, so I often choose an Accommodation with an in-Room bath or one that’s available 24 hours. Unfortunately, here it was only available until 11:00 p.m. Also, having to ask the staff each time to get the key made me feel hesitant. I wish I could use it more freely without worrying about bothering anyone. The meals were absolutely delicious. The ingredients were different from what I’m used to in the Izu Peninsula or Hakone, which made everything feel very fresh.

While waiting for the Shuttle Service to the station after check-out, they kindly offered cold drinks and showed thoughtful care in many ways, providing truly attentive hospitality. The meals were delicious, and the tableware was stylish—both the taste and presentation were very satisfying.

Located roughly across the river from the Nagatoro Iwadatami (not within walking distance). This is a small, well-serviced Hotel surrounded by quiet woods with an atmosphere reminiscent of Karuizawa; though compact, it is well equipped and stocked with amenities. Dinner and breakfast are Japanese-style creative full-course meals, better suited to adults. Some Rooms feature private open-air baths, and there are also free private reservable baths, making it a good choice for guests who value privacy. The building is old, but filled with tasteful furnishings that create a charming ambiance. With only a few Rooms, the staff can provide attentive service to each party. Nights are very quiet, accompanied by the sounds of insects. There are two EV chargers (6 kW TerraCharge) in the guest-only parking area; if you drive an electric vehicle, it’s best to let them know in advance.

The meals are such high quality you’d never guess they’re buffet-style. The menu changes with the seasons, so it never gets boring, and everything is consistently delicious every time we visit! The Rooms may seem similar at first, but the layouts and interiors vary, which makes it fun and interesting. The Surprise Plan is the best—guaranteed to become an unforgettable memory! It’s wonderful to receive, and just as fun to plan for someone else. A space where everyone is sure to feel happy! We’re truly grateful to all the staff who create this extraordinary and wonderful atmosphere.

The staff provided excellent service, and the amenities were well stocked. The bathroom also had a separate washing area, so we could relax and enjoy a comfortable soak. After watching Disney’s nighttime show, Maihama Station was extremely crowded, so staying at this Hotel near Maihama Station was very convenient.

It was rare for our whole family to be together, so we decided to stay on short notice. After check-in, we headed to our Room with a complimentary drink from the lobby (non-alcoholic) in hand. The Room was more spacious than expected, well stocked with amenities, and the view was wonderful. The bedside light brightness can’t be adjusted, but it wasn’t an issue. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style with a wide variety of dishes. The freshly grilled Wagyu steak made to order was delicious, but the best was the made-to-order tempura where you can choose the ingredients to be fried. There were also many types of all-you-can-drink alcohol options, which we enjoyed. For breakfast, you can choose the fillings for your omelet, and there were plenty of both Japanese and Western options as well. Towels were provided at the large public bath, and the free ice cream after bathing was great too! All staff provided polite service—especially the restaurant staff, who spoke gently and kindly—and it felt like they paid close attention to guests. After checkout, my daughter was touched by a woman who greeted us cheerfully at the car drop-off area and waved both hands as she saw us off until we left; it made for a very pleasant departure from the Hotel and a wonderful stay overall.

My mother and I stayed here together. It was our first visit in over a decade, since we came as a family of three with my late father. We were able to enjoy the delicious meals that impressed us so much back then, and simply soaking in the bath and relaxing brought such a wonderful sense of happiness. I also found it lovely to see the proprietress and everyone else working so briskly and efficiently. I shared how delighted my father had been at the time, and it became a meaningful holiday during Higan. Thank you very much.

We stayed here on the middle day of a three-day holiday weekend. This wonderful inn exceeded every “I wish it were like this” and “It would be nice if they had this,” and within minutes of arriving I was already thinking, “I want to come back!” [Service / Facilities / Baths] Everyone who assisted us was warm and courteous, and we were able to relax in a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The room and the entire property were very clean, with tasteful ornaments and seasonal decorations throughout—such a lovely space. The amenities provided in the room and baths also reflected thoughtful attention to detail; you could really feel the staff’s care in having things that make guests think, “This is exactly what I needed.” Both the indoor bath and open-air bath could be reserved for private use, so we were able to unwind completely. The changing area was spotless, and the water temperature was perfect. When I headed to the indoor bath right after check-in, I was impressed—the mirrors gleamed, the faucets gleamed; everything was impeccably cleaned. [Meals] Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. Highlights included a rich, velvety pumpkin potage; grated yam topped with soy-marinated egg yolk; whole char that was delicious down to the last bite; gently flavored vinegared dishes; chestnut rice with clear soup, and more. The yuba (tofu skin) and Japanese pepper were also excellent. We upgraded the main dish to wagyu beef—it was tender with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. For breakfast, the rice cooked in an earthenware pot was fluffy and glossy—I ended up having multiple refills. Everything—from teriyaki yellowtail to sesame tofu, miso soup, colorful vegetables with homemade dressing—was delicately seasoned with comforting flavors, and all of it was wonderful. This is a truly special inn where you can feel genuine hospitality everywhere. We’ve traveled to many places before, but this is somewhere we definitely want to return to—an inn that made me feel grateful to be Japanese. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

Ever since I happened to stay here on a trip to Wakayama, I’ve been coming back regularly. This is already my third stay. I get the sense it used to be a love hotel, but in any case, it’s extremely clean and comfortable. For this level of quality, the value for money is outstanding. Highlights: The Room is very spacious and spotless. The toilet and bathroom are separate, and the bath is large enough to soak properly in the tub. The bed is double-sized and roomy. Amenities are well stocked. I still haven’t found any downsides lol. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back in Wakayama.

We had a truly wonderful time. Thank you for celebrating my birthday as well—it made me very happy and became a great memory. All of the food was delicious, and my husband was impressed too. I’m glad we were able to use the Mirabelle and Repronizer amenities. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, making our stay comfortable and fun. This was my first stay. I visit Osaka every 2–3 months, and this hotel provided an outstanding experience in every way. Check-in was smooth, and the amenities were the most extensive I’ve ever seen. Since I take baths more than three times a day, the complimentary bath salts, bath towels, and hand towels were especially appreciated. The 24-hour free drink bar and complimentary alcohol meant there was no need to stop by a convenience store. The free popcorn, chocolate snacks, and candies were also a delightful touch. The room had a smart TV, delicious bottled water in the fridge, and even a microwave in each room. The bathroom and toilet are separate, making it very comfortable. There’s also a jet bath and a TV in the bathroom. There were plenty of amenities inside the room as well—ones I didn’t use myself but would be great for women. With complimentary breakfast service, late-night noodles in the evening, and afternoon tea in the afternoon, there were so many wonderful services included. With prices rising everywhere these days, I almost felt sorry paying this rate for such great value. Every staff member showed exceptional hospitality—I was completely satisfied. The location is excellent as well: Namba Station on the subway line(s), JR Namba Station, and Nankai Namba Station are all within about five minutes’ walk. This is a fantastic hotel that I can confidently recommend to others. It’s definitely a hotel I want to stay at again whenever I’m in Osaka. Thank you very much.

Although the building and Room are not the newest, the staff’s thoughtful hospitality—clearly reflecting excellent training—felt genuinely warm rather than scripted. The food was also stylish and delicious, and we had a very comfortable stay.

As soon as we passed through Hyakurakuso’s gate, a staff member came out to greet us with a warm, welcoming smile. I had been wanting to visit this ryokan for its cave bath for a long time, and I was finally able to make it. The bath we had been looking forward to was wonderful, and the meals were also outstanding—every dish was delicious and beautifully prepared. What made us especially glad we stayed here was the genuine care and attentiveness of the staff. We were able to enjoy a relaxing, unhurried time away from everyday life.\nWe would love to visit again.

This was our second stay in four months, and my husband and I stayed for one night. Just like the first time, we were able to relax completely. During our first visit, I wasn’t feeling well due to overwork, so I only managed to use the bath in our Room once and didn’t get many chances to talk with Madame. This time, I was in perfect condition, and I was truly happy to be able to visit again. As before, the cuisine was beautifully presented and of course tasted wonderful—we enjoyed everything all the way through dessert. We were genuinely moved by the chef’s uncompromising dedication. Also, on this second visit, we really realized just how high Madame’s level of hospitality is. She remembered exactly what drinks we had ordered last time, and we were impressed by her unwavering commitment to exceptional service. Next time, I’d love to visit with my sister as well—she loves traveling and good food. Thank you very much!

Right in front of the station, so you can get there without getting lost. The room was very clean, and the amenities included a choice of bath salts; the fridge had Chill Out and chocolate. Although the room was compact with a unit bath/toilet, I was able to relax and enjoy my stay. The front desk staff were also kind and helpful.

I’ve been coming here since I lived about 30 minutes away by train. Even after moving to a place about two hours away, I still visit from time to time specifically to stay at this Hotel and explore Takasaki. From the moment you step into the entrance with flowing water, you’re drawn into an extraordinary world. More than anything, I love the atmosphere of the large public bath. If you bathe before sunset, sunlight pours in and it’s bright and truly wonderful. Soaking in the open-air bath while listening to Shinkansen announcements as background music is pure bliss—I can forget everything. Both the guest rooms and the entire property are clean and comfortable. Since I’ve stayed many times, every visit feels like “I’m back.” The breakfast venue is very open and airy, and just as comfortable. The honey butter was so delicious that next time I plan to enjoy it generously again. Thank you always, and I look forward to staying with you again!
