The staff’s calm, welcoming atmosphere created a truly relaxing space, and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. - They provided an aromatic hand towel and water on the Shuttle Service bus - They took us to the golf course restaurant in a lovely cart - When I asked the concierge in advance about sightseeing, they gave me lots of brochures and handwritten notes on the day Everyone—including the front desk and lounge staff as well as the souvenir shop team—was genuinely kind and wonderful. I was truly impressed. Everything was new and spotless, and the Room was spacious with an amazing view! The breakfast buffet was also outstanding: freshly baked brown sugar French toast, made-to-order Okinawa soba, dim sum, smoothies, plenty of fruit, and more—an incredible variety that was both luxurious and delicious. I’ve made a Reservation for December as well, and I’m really looking forward to it.

Once again, our whole family had a wonderful two-day stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive as always, and we truly appreciate it. A variety of food and drinks are also available in the lobby, which our children look forward to every time. This time as well, they were especially excited for the brown sugar buns and warabi mochi, and they were delighted. We were also very satisfied with the pool, including the slide. Both dinner and breakfast were very luxurious and made for a great time together. Thank you as always. We will definitely stay again.

Everything—from the Facility and hospitality to the dining—exceeded our expectations, and it was a stay that our whole family genuinely enjoyed. Our child liked it so much they said, “I want to come again,” and we felt it is a Hotel that’s perfect for a family trip. This time we stayed for one night and two days because we were also staying at another Hotel, but considering the well-equipped Facility and services, I think a Multiple Night Stay would let you appreciate this Hotel’s appeal even more. Next time, we would definitely like to stay for multiple nights. [Club Lounge] The staff at check-in were extremely courteous, and we were able to enjoy sweets and drinks while completing the procedures. They also prepared coloring sets for each child in our party, which left a great impression as our child was able to spend the time without getting bored. [Guest Room: Ryukyu Suite / Beach View] The in-room refrigerator was a large model with completely separate fridge and freezer compartments, making it very convenient even for families. The toilet was modern and very clean, so it was comfortable to use. Having an in-room drum-type washer/dryer is especially helpful for longer stays or trips with children. Also, because there is a tatami room, children can relax safely lying down; we felt it’s a guest room where families can truly unwind together. Since it’s on the 3rd floor, the view isn’t quite “breathtaking,” but we had no particular complaints and stayed comfortably. [Dinner: Roy’s] There was an excellent variety of sushi options, and the desserts were plentiful as well—everything was delicious. We were satisfied enough that we definitely want to dine here again next time, and I can strongly recommend it to future guests. [Breakfast: Four Seasons] As part of the club floor benefits, we could make a Reservation at check-in, which helped us avoid crowds and enter smoothly. All dishes were delicious—especially the pancakes. With seating overlooking the ocean and a great atmosphere overall, it made for a wonderful morning. [Large Public Bath] We used it around 9:00 PM. It was crowded inside, but there was always an available washing station. Towels were provided as well, which made everything comfortable. [Facilities & Amenities] While not large, there is an indoor pool; plus activities such as rock-paper-scissors stamp rallies are held too, so children won’t get bored even on rainy days. We spent comfortably everywhere—including the outdoor pool area and the beach. [What Was Disappointing] The club floor benefit “Dolphin Splash” and the suite benefit “Wake-Up Sailing” were fully booked so we couldn’t participate. Although this seems unavoidable since the website states they are first-come-first-served programs as well، I hope improvements can be made so guests are less likely to miss out on these benefits altogether.

The Okinawa Fair and the tuna carving show were amazing! This was our second visit during summer vacation, and it was so delicious that we’d love for you to hold it again next year. The open-air bath in the Room was also very comfortable, and no matter how many times we visit in a year, we never get tired of it. The warm smiles and attentive hospitality from the proprietress and all the staff are so comforting and relaxing that every time we come, we find ourselves wanting to return again soon. We’ll be back before the end of the year—thank you very much.

I was looking forward to the sauna, but the detached Onsen was only open until 9:00 PM, and we finished dinner after 8:00 PM, so I gave up. However, the Onsen in the Hotel was also great. I used the detached Onsen for a morning bath, and it was amazing! The food was very satisfying! Also, the smoking area on the 3rd floor is excellent!

I stayed here with my sister’s family. The gentleman at the front desk who guided us and the lady serving our meals were both refreshingly pleasant, which was wonderful. It really left me with a strong impression that people in Fukui are kind! The meals were generous and delicious, so I ate almost everything. I meant to finish it all, but I got too full and ended up leaving some rice in the cooker lol. The courtyard view was soothing, and the Accommodation felt very clean throughout, so I loved it and would like to stay again! I’m glad we found such a great Accommodation. Thank you!!

We stayed in March last time, and this time we stayed again in August for my wife’s birthday. Our 4-year-old daughter fell in love with Suginoi Hotel during our previous stay, so this time we chose the seasonal Aqua Beat (pool) and stayed in the same building, Nijikan, as before. She was thrilled with Aqua Beat. It was crowded because of summer vacation, but we still had plenty of fun. The Facility and meals were also very satisfying. If I could ask for one thing, I’d be happy if raw eggs were available as well as Onsen eggs (I love rice with egg). We’ll most likely stay again for our daughter’s birthday trip next time. The cost is not cheap, but it makes for the best trip for our family (especially our daughter). When she gets older, we’d like to stay in a different building instead of Nijikan.

This was my first time at Hawaiians, and I chose this Hotel because it is the closest to the pool. You can go in and out of the Hotel in your swimsuit, and it was convenient for getting anywhere within Hawaiians. They also replaced our towels a few times. The Room was very clean, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. Because there are only a small number of rooms, the front desk is also small, so there was a bit of a line for check-in and check-out procedures.

I was able to visit Ishigaki again this year. Whenever I come to Ishigaki, I stay at Fusaki every year. You can enjoy both the pool and the beach, and the atmosphere truly feels like a resort. Various activities are available at the beach, and at low tide there are spots where adults can stand in the water and still see clownfish and blue damselfish, so you can snorkel safely.

This was our second visit, and we had a wonderful, very satisfying 1-night, 2-day stay! We’ve stayed at many Hotels across Hokkaido, Kanto, and Kansai with children aged 0–5, and among family-friendly Accommodations, this is by far our favorite Hotel. We visit around our child’s birthday, and we really appreciate the many perks that make kids happy. The food is also delicious. The only minor concern is that when traveling with children, bath times tend to overlap with other families, so it can get crowded. We’d love to stay again next year.

The top-floor scenic bath was wonderful; the Onsen was very relaxing. It was great how the view changed between evening and morning. For dinner, since I’m not a fan of buffets, I chose the special kaiseki course. There were many dishes, and everything was delicious—from fresh fish to a tender filet steak. The Room was a modern twin, and the beds were spacious and comfortable. In the lobby there was a coffee machine, and it was nice that you could have as many cups as you liked during the available hours. If I visit Shodoshima again, I’d definitely like to stay here again.

Although it was a new Hotel, there was a corridor from the 2nd floor (the reception floor) to the neighboring “Hotel Shidotaira,” allowing guests to share Facilities. Hotel Shidotaira is a large-scale property with features children enjoy, such as a big water slide, and we were told it is run by the same management. This “Shidate” does not allow children under 12 to stay, so it offered a quiet environment. The Room felt a bit small, but the split-level layout helped make up for it. Recently, most Rooms with an open-air Onsen bath allow automatic temperature control, but this Hotel had true free-flowing hot-spring water at about 50°C, so adjusting the temperature was difficult. In that respect, the open-air public bath—along with the footbath—was very pleasant. The relaxation room also had amenities that younger women would appreciate, such as nail dryers. The after-bath lounge was better stocked than at other Hotels we have stayed at. After dinner, we could relax in the lounge at length; it felt like an adults-oriented Hotel completely different from the neighboring one.

When we were taking photos at the Hotel entrance, a staff member kindly approached us in a natural way and offered to take our picture, which made us feel truly welcomed. I was traveling alone with two children, so I was a bit anxious, but thanks to the staff’s kindness and the wonderful Hotel and pool, my children had an amazing time. The food was also delicious. We had such a great stay that we would love to come back again.

Thank you for taking care of us again this year, following last year. It’s a good Hotel. We stayed with three grandchildren on a two-meal plan. As we were leaving, they asked to come again next year. The only drawback is that it can be hard to make a Reservation.

We stayed to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday. We had dinner at arco on the 42nd floor. They prepared a dessert plate, and my father was very happy. The website said we could see fireworks from the 42nd floor, so we made a Reservation, but unfortunately they were not visible from the restaurant. (However, after leaving the restaurant, we were able to see them briefly from the lobby.) We also had breakfast at arco the next morning, and the Tsuno sparkling wine and cheese were delicious. My mother especially enjoyed the galette. The ocean view from our Room was wonderful, and I’m grateful that we could do something meaningful for my parents. We would love to visit again.

This was our second stay, as we stayed here last year as well. We loved the all-you-can-eat crab, so we came back again this year!! All the other food was also delicious, and I ended up having plenty of salmon roe even more than crab! The bath was wonderfully quiet when we went in early. I’m sure we’ll be back again next year.

We stayed here on our way to Osaka, and the lakefront was just a short walk away—our grandchildren were happier than we expected. The adults were also satisfied because the meals were delicious. However, there were only a few washing stations in the large public bath, and we were surprised to see so many people waiting. Perhaps it was because there were many families during summer vacation. It was not something we often see elsewhere.

The Room was very clean, and the bed was spacious. There was also a door that could partition the Room. Since some of us wanted to sleep early while others wanted to watch TV, we could close the door when needed. The TV showed how crowded the large public bath was; it said it was crowded, but when we went, the changing area was spacious and there were plenty of washing stations, so it didn’t feel crowded at all. The buffet food was delicious, but it was a bit too crowded and caused congestion. Unlimited alcohol with the welcome drinks is impressive, but I was surprised to learn that drinks were unlimited during meals as well! It’s a Hotel I’d definitely like to visit again.

The front desk staff welcomed us with exceptional kindness. The Room was spacious and spotless, with a breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Toya. In the private open-air bath, we could soak in the Onsen while fully enjoying the spectacular scenery of Lake Toya. The open-air bath in the large public bath on the top floor was at the perfect temperature—never too hot—so we could relax without having to step out repeatedly. Looking down over Lake Toya from the infinity bath, we felt completely refreshed in both body and mind; it was truly outstanding. The dining was also excellent. The dinner buffet featured an abundant selection of fresh sashimi and nigiri sushi, including scallops, sea urchin, and shrimp. There were also hot dishes such as grilled crab legs and steak—all you can eat. Breakfast offered a wide variety of seafood as well, including raw surf clams and sweet shrimp, and our whole family was thoroughly satisfied with the meals at “Kohan no Sumika.” I have stayed at more than 70 Japanese Onsen Ryokan so far, but “Kohan no Sumika” is one of the few Hotels that I can say I absolutely want to return to. Thanks to the warm hospitality of all the staff, our family enjoyed an unforgettable and perfect stay. Thank you very much. 2. Business Courtesy Version (more formal and polite tone) This is a flawless Onsen Resort Hotel. I stayed at “Kohan no Sumika” on August 30. The front desk service was extremely courteous, and the Room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well maintained. From the guest Room we could enjoy sweeping views of Lake Toya, and in the private open-air bath we were able to savor both the Onsen experience and the beautiful scenery of Lake Toya to our heart’s content. The top-floor open-air bath had a wonderfully comfortable temperature that allowed for a long soak without overheating. Relaxing while looking down over Lake Toya from the infinity Onsen made for an exceptionally luxurious moment of calm. Dinner was highly satisfying: along with plentiful fresh sashimi and nigiri sushi—such as scallops, sea urchin, and shrimp—there were also all-you-can-eat options like grilled crab and steak. Breakfast likewise included seafood such as raw surf clams and sweet shrimp, leaving our entire family very pleased with its quality. Although I have stayed at more than 70 Japanese Onsen Hotels to date, “Kohan no Sumika” is one of those rare outstanding Accommodations that I would very much like to visit again.
