Thank you very much for taking care of us during our 4-night Multiple Night Stay. This time, we stayed in the “Oryu” Room. First of all, every staff member was incredibly kind and clearly loves animals. Everyone greeted us with a smile, was gentle and attentive, brought anything we needed right away, and did their best to accommodate our requests. I’m truly grateful—your staff deserves more than five stars. Next, the meals. We were told they were prepared in a special-suite style, and both the taste and quality were excellent—high standard, delicious, and thoughtfully varied. Even over several days, we never got tired of them and enjoyed every meal. With longer stays, menus can sometimes become difficult for the kitchen side as well, but you handled everything so carefully. Since I’m also a small eater, you kindly let me choose from the menu and adjusted portion sizes accordingly. This also deserves more than five stars. As mentioned earlier, your care for animals was also very thoughtful and helpful. I visited with both a dog and a cat, and it seemed comfortable for both of them. The hot spring water quality was also wonderful. As for the guest room layout: there is a long corridor between the Room area and the bath area, which felt slightly inconvenient, so I deducted one star there. On the other hand, having an additional Room separate from the main living space made it easy to stay comfortably even when traveling with friends—an excellent design. Regarding amenities: there are no pet amenities provided (so bringing your own is necessary), but having at least a litter box available would be very helpful. The surroundings were also fantastic—like a hidden mountain hamlet. By chance we were able to see “Children’s Kagura,” which has deep history and is clearly cherished by the community. The performers practice extensively (twice a week), and while they are indeed children (apparently ranging from 3rd grade elementary school to 3rd year high school), their performance was outstanding and truly impressive. If your dates happen to coincide with it during your stay nearby, it’s absolutely worth seeing. (It seems Kagura is held several times a year; I’d love to see other performances as well.) I also felt that preserving traditional Japanese festivals like this is part of what makes this area so special—and I think it may become even more well-known in the future. It’s about 30 minutes by car to Yufuin Station, so even on an extended stay you can easily go shopping for necessities. Sightseeing around Yufuin should be convenient as well—and Beppu is also about 30 minutes away via expressway—so overall it feels like an excellent location for travelers who want to explore.

This was my first stay. With only three groups per day, it’s a private pet-friendly Accommodation with a gentle, welcoming atmosphere. The cuisine was excellent, as you’d expect from a Ryokan—especially the sesame tofu and soba. Meals were served in a private dining room. Our dog happily ate the dog pizza. We stayed in the “Kuu-chan” tatami Room on the first floor, which felt a bit too spacious, but it was comfortable with no odors. The bath was a private reservable bath assigned to each Room. Since we visited in August, it was too hot outside to do much. We heard bears may appear around places like Enakyo Gorge. One downside was that a belly band (manner belt) is required inside the Room.

Spotlessly clean and excellent value for money. With the Plan including parking, I was able to check in with peace of mind. There’s nothing that can be done about it, but everything was perfect except for the squat-style toilet. Sorry—I’m not comfortable with squat toilets. In particular, the young woman at reception was very pleasant and incredibly soothing. I had a great check-in and check-out experience. Thank you so much!!

Surrounded by delicious meals, a free-flowing natural hot spring bath, and adorable cats, I was able to spend a gentle, peaceful time. Thank you very much.

Last summer, we stayed here for the first time and our whole family was thrilled to enjoy such an extraordinary getaway, so this year we extended our stay to three nights. Since we thought we might not make it by check-in time, we let them know we would be late, and they responded very pleasantly. Check-in was until 6:00 PM, but when we arrived around 7:00 PM and went to reception, the staff greeted us with a wonderful smile and said “Welcome back,” providing truly perfect service. Right after checking in, as we drove out for dinner, we noticed that the decorative lights that had been on earlier were now off—and realized they had turned them on as a landmark to help us find reception. We felt sorry for the trouble and were impressed by how thoughtful the staff were. Because we have a dog, we chose a type with a large dog run and BBQ facilities, and it exceeded our expectations. The Room was spacious and spotless, amenities were well prepared, and it was so perfect it was hard to find anything to complain about. We’d love to keep using it like a vacation home in the future, and I think it’s also ideal for multiple families or three-generation trips.

Stayed with my Yorkshire Terrier and mother. The interior has a European feel down to the details, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The room is spacious enough, and there was no unpleasant smell. The onsen in the room allows for easy access to a relaxing bath, which was very enjoyable. We only had breakfast during our stay, but the meal on the second day was very delicious. For dinner, please note that you need to choose such a plan or make a reservation in advance; ordering after arriving at the hotel seems difficult. Dinner costs 10,000 yen per person, which felt a bit expensive. However, there are no nearby places within walking distance for dining out easily, so please keep this in mind.

This was our first trip with our Pacific parrotlet. After researching online, we found this Hotel recommended as a must-visit spot, so we decided to stay here. As this stay also celebrated our wedding anniversary, we arranged a cake, and we were pleasantly surprised when the Hotel provided sparkling wine. Thank you very much for your thoughtful hospitality. It became a truly memorable trip.

This is our third stay at this Accommodation since the beginning of the year. We are truly grateful that you welcomed us with our dog and provided such a clean Room. The meals were a full sea bream course, and we were completely satisfied with the local Naruto ingredients. As a bonus, even though our dog is very picky about food, he happily enjoys it when we share some slices of the sea bream shabu-shabu with him. With inflation driving up costs for ingredients as well as electricity and fuel, we hope you will continue operating while taking appropriate measures such as adjusting prices. Personally, I feel the current rates are almost too good to be true. It’s a wonderful Accommodation, and we will definitely stay again.

We had seen a Review saying the pool temperature was low, and since it was a chilly day we were worried, but it was comfortably warm. The first-floor flooring is also not slippery, so I think it’s dog-friendly. If possible, it would have been even better if the second-floor flooring were made of similarly non-slip materials. The quality of the free-flowing Onsen water was great as well, and it was a wonderful Accommodation that makes not only dogs but also people want to come back.

Our family of four stayed with two Chihuahuas. The Accommodation was very comfortable for traveling with pets, and the staff were all kind and helpful. The French dinner was beautifully presented, each dish carefully prepared, and everything was delicious. The Japanese breakfast also offered a wide variety of dishes, letting us enjoy local ingredients, and we were very satisfied from the morning. We were able to relax and enjoy the Onsen as well, making wonderful memories together as a family. We would love to stay again.

We stayed here for the first time just after New Year’s, and my spouse, our dog, and I were all very satisfied—so we came back again four months later. Everything was excellent: truly pet-first, wonderful staff hospitality, great meals, and relaxing baths. Modern stylish Accommodations are nice too, but we really love Kinugawa’s charming retro atmosphere… We’re already planning our third visit this year… We’ll be coming all the way from Izu (lol). I wasn’t sure if we would be able to come due to the typhoon, but they were very accommodating.\nThe Facility was well maintained, and the dog run was just the right size for our dog, who happily ran around.\nWe really appreciated being given rice for dinner.\nThe Room felt like a living room at home and had all the necessary appliances, such as a rice cooker and microwave, which we could use freely.\nThe owner was also very kind, and I’d like to stay here again when visiting Kumamoto.\nIt was a wonderful trip. The Room was spacious and clean. The free-flowing Onsen bath in the Room was incredibly relaxing. The meals were delicious, and we were completely satisfied and full. The staff’s service was excellent as well. We would definitely like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

We stayed at Kinugawa Onsen “Kizuna” from July 31 to August 2, 2026 (2 nights/3 days). We checked in with two adults, one child, and two Chihuahuas. I thought I had made a Reservation for a Room without an open-air bath, but due to what seemed to be a communication issue, we were instead shown to a Room with an open-air bath (a lucky surprise). Having an open-air bath in the Room meant we could enjoy the Onsen anytime, day or night, and our whole family had a truly happy time. For every meal (breakfast and dinner), we were able to dine in a private room (rather than the usual shared dining area). The menu changed each time, so we looked forward to every meal and headed there excitedly. Each dish was refined and absolutely delicious. With drinks as well, we felt completely satisfied after every meal. By chance, the Nikko Fireworks Festival was held on Saturday, August 8, and we were able to enjoy spectacular fireworks from our Room as well (another lucky moment). Above all else, what made our stay so comfortable was the attentive service from the manager and staff members—and their genuine hospitality in accommodating guests’ requests. That level of professionalism seemed to fill the entire Ryokan, allowing guests to relax completely and enjoy an exceptional experience. For three days, we fully enjoyed an extraordinary getaway both physically and mentally. It may sound childish, but it was such a wonderful Ryokan that I didn’t want to leave—I wanted to stay forever. Everyone in our family kept saying “Let’s come again,” so we will definitely return. My heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who took care of us at “Kizuna.” Thank you very much for everything.

My spouse and I stayed with our two dogs. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The dog meals also seemed tasty—our dogs finished them in no time. We were happy that the staff treated our very energetic dogs kindly. Everyone we interacted with—the front desk, the restaurant staff, and the Room service staff—was pleasant and welcoming. We stayed in a Room with a private garden, but unfortunately it rained, so we’d like to come again on a sunny day. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a family of three, and to our delight, we were upgraded to a higher-grade Room than the one we had reserved. It was truly a dog-first Accommodation. Dogs can share existing bedding with you, and you can dine together as well. The dining area has semi-private seating, so we could relax without worrying about other dogs, which was great. The price may be a bit high, but it was the best Accommodation we’ve stayed at with our dog so far (and this time felt like a bargain thanks to the upgrade!). It’s an Accommodation that makes us want to stay again.

While looking for an Accommodation where we could stay with our dog, we discovered “Wa no Ie” and stayed there as a family. Pet-friendly Hotels are surprisingly easy to find, but since we were going to Karuizawa, we wanted a place that truly felt luxurious and where we could enjoy time with our pet both indoors and outdoors. That’s when we found Wa no Ie—an outstanding piece of architecture surrounded by nature—and after seeing the photos, we decided almost immediately. When we arrived, the sense of unity between the building and the natural surroundings was even more impressive than in the pictures. The greenery visible through the windows and the light streaming in made it an incredibly comfortable space. Because we were traveling with a child and a dog, our only concern was the number of stairs. However, before our stay they had already set up baby gates in advance, so both our dog and child could relax safely without any worry of falling. We really appreciated this thoughtful attention to detail. The interior was spotless, and the area around it was truly quiet. Personally, I loved feeling removed from city noise—almost as if it were just us alone in the forest. In the morning, I woke up naturally with sunlight and found myself thinking, “How long has it been since I last woke up like this?” My wife and child baked sweets and played games while our dog relaxed with us—it’s a place where you end up wanting to enjoy simply spending time there rather than going out sightseeing. If possible, I honestly wished we could have stayed for several more days—living there while working remotely. It’s rare to find an entire-home rental that offers all three: nature, luxury, and an environment where you can stay together with your pet. We would absolutely love to stay here again whenever we visit Karuizawa. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

Due to Typhoon No. 9, our return was delayed by two days, so we urgently made a Reservation at this Ryokan. Since we have a large family and lots of luggage, it was a huge help that you allowed us to stay for a Multiple Night Stay without changing Rooms at our request. The Room was spacious with plenty of space even for five people, and it was a smoking Room, which made my husband very happy. We also appreciated that breakfast was included. Kokusai-dori and the supermarket are within walking distance, so we went shopping twice—during the day and at night—and were able to take our time. Next time we visit Okinawa, we will definitely stay here again. The typhoon had really brought our spirits down, but we were able to relax, and I’m glad we chose this place. Thank you very much.
