The front desk staff were very helpful, and the Yakumo breakfast on the second floor was beautifully presented, delicious, and offered a wide variety of dishes—we were very satisfied. It was a lovely Hotel that made us feel at home.

We went car camping in West Izu to celebrate my retirement, and since my wife only eats dinner, we couldn’t visit local restaurants for fresh fish at lunchtime—so we made a Reservation here to enjoy a more luxurious dinner. I also had a faint memory that we may have stayed near Koibito Misaki about 30 years ago, and it seems the chef’s son has taken over. The meal began with a boat platter featuring splendid alfonsino, local fish, crab, and spiny lobster, followed by French cuisine—everything was delicious and we were completely satisfied. As this is a pension-style Accommodation, the Facility is not brand-new, but we could feel thoughtful attention to detail throughout and were able to spend a wonderful time here. We would love to stay again.

The amenities use high-quality materials, which truly impressed me. I hope you continue to preserve this Japanese character. It was the best Business Hotel I have ever stayed at.

The meals were delicious. Choosing abalone for dinner was the right decision. Breakfast was also great, with a wide variety of dishes. The front desk provided thorough explanations, and the dining staff responded quickly. It was also convenient that the bath, washbasin area, and toilet were separate. A small detail, but having three towels was a nice touch as well.

This ocean-view Hotel has two golf courses. Highlights include a clean, spacious sauna and a large, refreshingly cold plunge pool. I stayed for two nights and fully enjoyed the sauna on both days. The staff were warm and kind, which made for a wonderful Golden Week holiday. Thank you very much.

First, take the ferry from Toba to Toshi Island—an amazing, travel-filled experience. (Be sure to park your car in the First Parking Lot and bring the parking ticket to the Accommodation.) If you contact them in advance, they will provide Shuttle Service to Wagu Port. I wanted to buy chirimen, so I walked from Toshi Port; it’s also very close on foot from Toshi Port. The chirimen shop in front of Toshi Port is highly recommended. The Ryokan feels a bit inconvenient due to its older exterior and the lack of an elevator, but inside it is clean, and both the Room and the large public bath have been renovated, making for a very comfortable stay. From my Room, I enjoyed a luxurious time just gazing at the sea beyond the fishing port. The Onsen doesn’t have a view, but it’s clean; even after soaking for a long time I didn’t feel tired, and my skin felt wonderfully smooth afterward. I liked it so much that I ended up bathing four times during my stay. For dinner, I upgraded to include Matsusaka beef steak and shabu-shabu, and also ordered abalone sashimi as an extra dish. The spiny lobster and sashimi were fresh and springy; the extra abalone had a wonderful ocean aroma and was outstanding. Everything else was well seasoned and delicious too. Breakfast featured an incredibly rich spiny lobster miso soup—I ate far too much rice first thing in the morning. Excellent value for money—truly fantastic. The owner, his son, and all staff were very pleasant throughout my stay, making my island time comfortable from start to finish. Thank you very much. Next time I plan on bringing fishing gear for a Multiple Night Stay—thank you again in advance.

We stayed on the day of the summer fireworks festival. What we liked All of the staff were kind. They greeted us with warm smiles and calm, friendly service. Above all, the food was delicious! The “Koyoi Zen” dinner featured ingredients that make the most of this coastal area, along with local fruit—everything was very satisfying. You can order not only drinks but also additional dishes. The kids’ dinner was generous in portion size and packed with child-friendly favorites. Some Reviews mentioned that sweet shrimp wasn’t always available at the breakfast buffet, but it was there this time—unlimited fresh sweet shrimp was truly appreciated. Also, during the fireworks festival, they opened up the 7th floor for 500 yen including a drink, plus potato chips as a snack. We could watch the fireworks from great seats at a relaxed pace—it was fantastic! What could be improved The faucet in our Room had a crack, and water sprayed out from an unexpected place every time we turned it on, leaving everything around it soaked. In the large public bath, the partitions between washing stations were low, so you end up making eye contact with people next to you and water splashes over. Overall, there were so many positives that we could overlook these issues. Still, we would have been even more satisfied if the Facility had been a bit cleaner and better maintained. Highly recommended for visiting roadside stations in northern Hokkaido and for attending the Haboro fireworks festival!

Thank you for letting me stay for nearly 2,000 yen less by making a Reservation through Yahoo! online instead of by phone. I was a little confused about how to use the faucet in the unit bath, but I was able to rest well and was satisfied. There are no restaurants or convenience stores within easy walking distance, so you need to walk a bit. The mineral water and tea helped me relax. Thank you very much.

I forgot to submit the survey, so I’m leaving a comment here. I stayed this summer. The meals were excellent, especially the fish. The portions were generous and left me completely satisfied. The large public bath was spacious and very relaxing. Some parts of the Facility seem a bit old, but the location is convenient and it stays cool, so I was able to unwind. I’d like to stay again in summer.

I stayed here for a live concert trip. This was my second stay, and both the Room and the bathroom were clean and quiet. I would like to stay here again.

We chose the BBH Group for the first time based on our junior-high and high-school children’s wishes: they wanted a buffet-style meal and, if possible, karaoke or table tennis. The Reviews here were very helpful. We arrived around 2:30 p.m., and we were able to check in; Happy Hour had already started as well, which we appreciated. There was no explanation about karaoke, so we had to ask ourselves, but we were able to make a Reservation. Badminton and table tennis could be enjoyed without a Reservation. We brought our own badminton rackets. The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed BBH’s signature Happy Hour oden and drinks, the buffet meals, and the late-night soba served from 9:00 p.m. We also enjoyed items like minced tuna and salmon at breakfast, though I felt they could have been offered at dinner as well. Since everyone seems to have dinner at the same time, waiting for the only elevator took a while, so we used the stairs. Even if it’s not used often, there was far too much dust buildup. In the game corner as well, there were visible streaks of dust on top of surfaces. With 30% PayPay points applied, our out-of-pocket cost came to just under ¥10,000 per person, which felt reasonable.

When I arrived at the Hotel, I was surprised by how old the exterior looked, but I pulled myself together and checked in. The lobby was filled with all kinds of quirky decorations—toys, masks, stuffed animals, and countless clocks that were each slightly out of sync—making it feel like I had wandered into another dimension. The guest room also felt dated, but it was kept clean and tidy. Best of all, the Pacific Ocean stretched out right in front of me; with Inubosaki Lighthouse to the left and the sound of waves close by, it offered an outstanding ocean view. The baths also included an open-air bath that felt seamlessly connected to the sea, which was very relaxing. The meals were thoughtfully prepared and satisfying. There are several library rooms inside the Hotel, well stocked with a huge selection of manga magazines, collected volumes, and general books—I could even lose myself in reading while looking out at the ocean. “Chospo” (Choshi Sports) was also an entertaining newspaper. It’s not a place you’d call spotless or modern, but in its own way it feels stylish—a unique Hotel where you can enjoy something out of the ordinary.

The hospitality was exceptional. While the Facility is old and the bath lacks notable features, the outstanding customer service more than made up for it. The attentiveness and care during check-in, check-out, and meals were truly pleasant, allowing for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. This is professionalism at its finest—truly impressive.

Dinner was a course featuring pufferfish and a boat platter, and we enjoyed plenty of pufferfish. The local sake was also delicious, and we ended up drinking more than planned. Breakfast was Japanese-style as well, with side dishes that paired nicely with white rice. The homemade pickled plums were tasty too. We stayed in a detached room, but the stairs were steep, so going up and down with a suitcase felt a bit unsafe. The bath was small, but very relaxing. The bath mat was quite slippery, which concerned me, but overall the place was clean and the staff were sincere and attentive. It was a wonderful guesthouse—I’d like to bring my father next time.

I felt this Accommodation could be rated very differently depending on the purpose of your trip and the Room you choose. I stayed because I was interested in their guest Room with a semi-open-air bath. The exterior looks dated, and the front desk area doesn’t feel like a typical Hotel, which made me a bit uneasy at first. But once I entered the Room, it was very clean and instantly lifted my mood. The Facility also felt relatively new and well maintained. And of course, it has an ocean view. The refrigerator includes a freezer compartment, and there’s also a microwave and a washing machine (with dryer). Amenities such as skincare items and cleansing products are all provided individually packaged. There were two bath towels set out plus one spare in the drawer—three per person in total, which was more than enough. (Though I’m not sure if this applies only to Rooms with a semi-open-air bath.) Most importantly, the semi-open-air bath was truly wonderful. You can see the ocean at a glance through the large window, and the tub is spacious enough for what feels like four people. The Onsen in the Room is not free-flowing, but it’s easy to adjust the temperature so you can soak as long as you like at your preferred heat. Because there’s a glass partition between it and the living area, you can even watch TV (with subtitles) while bathing. The staff were pleasant and kind—they quickly helped me exchange my indoor sandal size and delivered them to my Room. It was No Meals Included, but it’s close to both the station and Atami Ginza, making dining out and shopping very convenient. It’s different from an ordinary Hotel, but as a condominium-style stay with an in-room Onsen, it was excellent. I highly recommend the Grand View Room. I’d love to visit again.

The staff's service was somewhat curt, but both dinner and breakfast were delicious! It would be even better if the dinner dishes were explained more thoroughly and the front desk had a brighter atmosphere.

We stayed here as a couple with our dog. Everyone was very kind and gentle with our dog as well, so we felt at ease throughout our stay. Thank you for your warm hospitality. The food was outstanding—well beyond five stars. It’s rare to be able to enjoy both dinner and breakfast in the Room with our dog, and we truly appreciated it. We sincerely hope Wakura Onsen will recover soon and regain its vibrant Onsen town atmosphere. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

I have stayed at many Ryokans and Hotels, but this was such a wonderful Ryokan that I wanted to write a Review for the first time. The Shuttle Service staff, front desk staff, dining service staff, and kitchen staff were all courteous, kind, and attentive. The property was also impeccably clean, so I felt comfortable and at ease throughout my stay. I would love to stay here again.

Because the bed was large, the Room felt a bit small for two people, but the bed was soft and comfortable and came with large pillows, so we slept well. I didn’t use the bath so I’m not sure, but shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were all provided. There were plenty of amenities such as toner, lotion, and a hair dryer, so it was fine even if you forgot something. The large TV could receive terrestrial channels and BS. Breakfast was buffet-style and everything was delicious; even if you don’t usually eat much in the morning, it’s nice that you can adjust the portion size. There was also a smaller TV in the dining area—when I stayed, a soccer match was on live broadcast, and everyone ended up watching it closely. The exterior and entrance had a refined atmosphere and looked very clean. Near the entrance/exit doors there was ice available, as well as vending machines for meals and cup noodles. Since the convenience store is a short walk away, buying items inside the Hotel is also a good option. It’s close to the station, but there aren’t many streetlights nearby and it gets dark at night—please be careful.

I had a very comfortable stay as I was provided with the best room despite booking at a very affordable price. The dinner at the restaurant was so delicious and generously portioned that I wondered if it was really okay to offer it at such a price—completely satisfying. Although I may not have the chance to revisit this remote island, it was a Hotel where I would love to enjoy a Multiple Night Stay and relax.
