You can see the ocean from the Hotel Room, and if you walk a little way down the slope, the sea is right in front of you—perfect for picking up a coffee at a convenience store and relaxing on the beach. Dinner was plentiful, featuring simmered golden eye snapper (a bit sweet for our taste), spiny lobster, abalone, and more. It was also nice that we could use a voucher to choose items such as tempura, seared bonito, or dessert. There was an Onsen as well as an open-air bath, and we enjoyed them many times. Breakfast was buffet-style; the freshly grilled dried horse mackerel was especially delicious. They also had organic coffee, which we enjoyed. Thanks to the staff’s thoughtful attention to detail, our stay was very comfortable.

I stayed on a Saturday night over the weekend, and perhaps because it operates as a Business Hotel, the pricing felt very affordable. I stayed in a twin Room; it was reasonably spacious and very well cleaned. However, there was no safe in the Room, which was slightly inconvenient. There is no shared bath inside the Hotel, but we were informed that it partners with a nearby Onsen Facility. I used the in-room unit bath, though the drainage felt a bit slow. The anago hitsumabushi for dinner was excellent and truly enjoyable. With its reasonable Accommodation Fee, this Hotel is recommended for sightseeing in Onomichi and enjoying Hiroshima’s famous conger eel.

We stayed in a detached guest room with an open-air bath, and the Facility, bath, hospitality, and meals were all excellent. The Japanese garden is also beautifully maintained—truly an outstanding Accommodation. It is well worth spending a little extra to stay here.

Staying at Kisshotei with my family this time was a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing, the room was clean and cozy, and the staff were all very kind. The meals and hot spring experience were excellent. My family had a wonderful stay, and it left us with great memories from this trip. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi and mobile signal were somewhat unstable, which made it a little inconvenient to use. If this can be improved in the future, the stay would be even more perfect. Overall, I highly recommend it. If I visit Yamanaka Onsen again, I would love to stay at Kisshotei again!

This was our first time staying here. I was a little surprised that the Hotel’s main entrance is accessed from beside Takubokutei, but once inside, a calm and welcoming atmosphere opened up, which I really appreciated. After taking the elevator up to the guest Room floor, I was first impressed by how spacious the elevator hall was. Then, upon entering the Room, I was even more surprised by its size and its refined, relaxing ambiance. We were able to unwind comfortably and had a very pleasant stay. As for the Onsen, we used Takubokutei’s bath on the first day and Kaikyo no Kaze’s bath the next morning. Takubokutei’s open-air bath felt wonderfully refreshing and open, but Kaikyo no Kaze’s large public bath was a serene space with just the right amount of natural light from outside, allowing us to relax at length—it quickly became my favorite. The seafood dishes were all delicious, and both my wife and I were very satisfied. Since it was buffet-style dining, I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, but both dinner and breakfast were high quality and exceeded our expectations. It was a wonderful Hotel that we would definitely like to stay at again when visiting Hakodate.

The pool in the courtyard had two shallow depth options, which were perfect for our 5- and 3-year-old children. They also lent out water guns, and having a swimsuit spin dryer was very helpful. At night, there was a free lottery next to the front desk and a small festival-style game area (paid, around 200 yen), and we felt they had really put thought into it. We were allowed to use our own handheld fireworks (not sold on-site) in the courtyard, and when we brought some, they kindly lent us a bucket filled with water and a lighter. Meals were served in the Room for both breakfast and dinner, with great portions and flavor—our whole family was very satisfied. The baths operated on a rotating schedule: the women’s bath was on the 4th floor at night and on the 3rd floor in the morning. The 4th floor did not have an open-air bath but did have a sauna. It was at a comfortable temperature that children could also use. The 3rd floor did not have a sauna, but it had an open-air bath, which we also enjoyed. The view from our Room was beautiful as well, and we were glad to be able to see the morning sunrise.

We stayed here with our children and grandchildren as three generations, and it was our first time. All the staff were kind, and the meals were excellent with plenty of fresh seafood. Above all, the view from the Hotel window was beautiful. You can clearly see the sun rising over the horizon right from your Room window. The Facility did not feel brand-new, as it seems to be a renovated older Hotel, but we felt it was well worth it because the accommodation rate was very reasonable. We also enjoyed using the large public bath and open-air bath comfortably. Thank you very much.

I stayed here before and thought it was a great Accommodation, and it feels like the services have become even more comprehensive. With Senso-ji right in front and Hanayashiki next door, plus plenty of entertainment spots and restaurants you can drop by casually, staying here helped me rediscover how fun Asakusa is. I’d love to stay again in the near future.

We stayed during the Obon holidays on a breakfast-only plan. The building is a bit old, but the Room had been renovated and was very clean, with stylish interiors and a great view—truly wonderful. The baths were also clean; they operate on an alternating schedule for men and women, and we were especially impressed by the panoramic bath on the 6th floor with its amazing views. Breakfast was very luxurious and satisfying, featuring simmered splendid alfonsino (kinmedai), horse mackerel namero, ara-jiru fish soup, plus a buffet. We would like to come again.

I traveled with my mother in her 80s. The staff, the meals, and the baths—everything exceeded our expectations. My mother was very happy too. We had a Multiple Night Stay, and they made sure the meals didn’t repeat, and everything was delicious. If I had one request, since it was a hot summer, I would have appreciated a refrigerator with a freezer compartment to freeze ice packs (it was refrigerator-only).

The all-inclusive plan even includes drinks like 100% orange juice and apple juice. The washing machine is free (the dryer costs 100 yen per 30 minutes), and the massage chair is also free. Overall, it was excellent value for money. There are only two elevators, so they get crowded. When it’s busy, you may have to wait around 30 minutes unless you ride all the way up first and then come back down. A capable staff member with glasses—like a chief—worked efficiently while keeping a warm smile the whole time, which made me feel that APA has secured great talent.

Although we try to take a couples’ Onsen trip at least once a month, we were busy this month and couldn’t easily find time—so, as usual, it was a last-minute Reservation. We decided to stay nearby and chose Aoni Onsen for its excellent water quality. Luckily, there was a Room available at just the right time. Best of all, we could use the private bath in the building where we stayed free of charge, so my wife and I enjoyed it before heading to the large public bath. The water was great, everything was clean, and the view was wonderful. Dinner was served at the counter with attentive service for each dish while watching the kitchen at work. There was also an impressive lineup of well-known Akita sake—including Aramasa, which I used to drink almost every night. I thought it might shake my resolve since I had only recently quit drinking, but surprisingly it didn’t. With kind encouragement like “Why not just have a little?”—and with my wife unable to drink—I gratefully accepted their thoughtfulness while focusing on the meal. Since sake had always been part of every Onsen trip until now… I expected to feel lonely about it—but I didn’t at all (even though I used to be a certified sake sommelier). We truly enjoyed the Onsen.

My parents stayed here because they had been interested in it for a while. Since it was a weekday, it was fairly quiet and they were able to relax. They were also happy that other older guests were using the pool too, so they felt comfortable using it without hesitation, and they said the food was beautifully presented and delicious!

On the day of our stay, unfortunately it was pouring rain, so we couldn’t go sightseeing. We were cold and soaked, but even though we arrived before check-in, they kindly let us wait in the lobby. They served us hot coffee, and soon after they prepared our Room early for us. Thanks to that, we could change out of our wet clothes and avoid getting sick. The proprietress and all the staff were very kind, and we had a truly comfortable stay. The food was delicious, the Onsen was wonderful—everything was perfect. We’d love to visit again.

Unfortunately, due to the weather I couldn’t see the starry sky or sunrise, which was disappointing, so I’d like to come again. I wish there had been a small tray in the Room for accessories. We enjoyed an extraordinary getaway to the fullest, watching the sun set into the sea from our Room and gazing at the starry sky while soaking in the in-room Onsen. The meals were delicious and we were able to enjoy them at a relaxed pace, and we could tell that great care was taken with Room cleaning and amenities. We would love to visit again.

We stayed as a family with breakfast included, and the Room was clean and well maintained. The bed was firm, and we slept very well. Breakfast offered a wide variety of side dishes, all of which were delicious. Thank you to the staff for their kind service with warm smiles. There was also a large public bath, which we enjoyed at a relaxing pace.

As it was just after the reopening, the Facility felt brand new, and we were able to spend our time comfortably in a clean environment. In the large public bath, the scent of wood instantly helped us unwind, and the ocean view through the full-height windows was breathtaking. Even though we were on the east side of the Boso Peninsula, we were surprised to be able to see the sun setting—and it was so beautiful that we couldn’t take our eyes off it. It truly deserves its place among “Japan’s 100 Best Accommodations with Sunset Views.” The rooftop open-air bath we used before bed was softly lit with indirect lighting and had a calm atmosphere. Soaking while listening to the sound of water flowing into the tub made all our everyday fatigue melt away, and we could relax from the bottom of our hearts. It was a wonderfully soothing moment. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. The new dining venue had a Japanese-inspired design, creating a lovely atmosphere and a comfortable space. Dinner was served half-buffet style. We were first served sashimi, beautifully presented with an impressively fresh taste. We were also surprised to be served abalone and splendid alfonsino (kinmedai). The abalone remained tender even when grilled, and the kinmedai had an elegant flavor. The buffet also featured an excellent live kitchen: tempura was freshly fried, and there was even Kazusa beef steak. Both were tender, making for a highly satisfying dinner. Breakfast was also buffet-style, and we were amazed by how extensive the selection was. In addition to standard items like salads, there were also sashimi and overnight-dried fish. The turban shell curry (sazae curry) left a lasting impression with its rich flavor, and the nikujaga comforted us with its gentle taste. At the live kitchen they made omelets for us—large portions with great volume—another very satisfying dish. Our Room was spacious and spotless. Above all, through wall-to-wall glass windows stretching across one entire side of the Room, there was nothing but ocean—so much so that we found ourselves sitting in chairs simply gazing outside for quite some time. Fireworks were launched from right in front of us at the fishing port as well—it was incredibly powerful up close. We had never seen fireworks from such close range before, making it an unforgettable experience. And most impressive of all was truly the service provided by your staff. We felt thoughtful attention everywhere throughout our stay; their hospitality was consistently attentive. It made for an extremely comfortable visit—a day we were completely satisfied with. When we visit Kamogawa again, we would love to stay here again.

Planning a trip to Mie with the hope of making a once-in-a-lifetime visit to Ise Shrine, we were drawn to how wonderful the VISON villas looked and decided to stay here. The Room was clean and refreshing, simple yet very functional, and I felt deeply soothed by the garden view from the bath. We stayed for three nights, and for breakfast we had: (1) the Nouniyell buffet, (2) takeout from Mariage de Farine (bread with soup, salad, and dessert), and (3) takeout from Ureshino Tofu Nose. Everything was excellent! In particular, Ureshino Tofu Nose’s takeout bento may have been the best takeout meal I’ve ever had. Relaxing in our Room, we enjoyed glossy freshly cooked rice and plenty of piping-hot side dishes rich with dashi—an incredible luxury first thing in the morning. For lunch and dinner as well, we tried various places within VISON—dining in or getting takeout—and everything was delicious. The lean tuna sashimi we had after the tuna-cutting show was outstanding. The villa also has a large sink in the Room, so eating in and cleaning up afterward felt easy and stress-free. We also ordered Nouniyell room service—the meat dish and Caesar salad were delivered freshly made and were truly delicious! Honso-yu was also wonderful; even though it was midsummer, a cool breeze blew through the outdoor bath area, allowing us to relax completely. It was easy to drive to both Ise Grand Shrine and Toba Aquarium, making this an amazing trip. We were grateful for all of the VISON staff’s thoughtful yet unobtrusive hospitality—it was a genuinely happy stay. We definitely want to come again. Thank you very much.

This is my go-to Accommodation for my annual trips to Sapporo! On the first night, I stayed in a Corner Twin for the first time. The windows were large, and I had a pleasant view with the Hokkaido Government Office building right in front of me—perfect for relaxing with drinks in the Room. On the second night, since my child was Child Sharing Existing Bedding, we chose a Superior Double. The window was smaller and it felt even more compact, but it was still very functional. There was also an ice machine on the top floor, and perhaps as part of Superior perks there were bath salts provided as well, which was a nice touch. At check-in, the male staff member at reception had no expression and his service was disappointing—neither good nor bad overall. However, the male staff member at check-out was very pleasant, so I’ll call it even (lol). And what I especially recommend is breakfast. There is a wide variety of dishes with many local items, and everything—Japanese or Western—is high quality. All of the staff are friendly and it feels great. The salted bread that wasn’t available last year was delicious, so I hope you keep offering it! The only disappointment was that the breakfast crowding status shown on the in-room TV didn’t match reality. It showed “not busy,” so we went then—but there were actually 30 groups waiting. After getting my young child excited and taking them there, having to bring them back to the Room and manage their bad mood was frustrating... Still, the large public bath is very clean; we received a full set of children’s amenities for Child Sharing Existing Bedding at the front desk; there are Sekkisei amenities; and needless to say, the location is excellent... Overall, this trip once again reminded me that in Sapporo it’s Solaria all the way for me. I’m looking forward to planning another trip so we can come again next year.
