All of the dishes were delicious, and the shabu-shabu and shellfish dishes in particular were outstanding! We could really taste the quality of the ingredients, and we were very satisfied. The service was also very attentive, making our stay truly comfortable. Both the food and service were excellent—this is a Ryokan we would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much!

As this was a “reasonably priced” Room, it was located directly beneath the restaurant. As expected, we didn’t hear chair-scraping or footsteps much, but the sound of people running around carried quite a bit. The chair noise in particular was really loud. However, this trip was just for two adults and we weren’t specifically looking for complete quiet—and since we also used that restaurant for meals, it was within an acceptable range. The Room was spacious and very clean, though it did feel a bit dated. We were told there would be no view, but given the location, it wasn’t like another building blocked everything or we couldn’t see outside at all. If you shifted your gaze slightly, you could enjoy a nature-filled view of Fukui’s wide-open fields, which we were very happy with. The restaurant buffet had a great variety and everything was delicious—I ate too much. It seemed seared bonito (tataki) was the featured item this time; I could only get it once, but it was excellent. The other seafood was also tasty, and there were grilled and fried dishes as well—an indulgent buffet that everyone from kids to seniors can enjoy. Above all else, the Onsen was wonderful. I didn’t realize Awara Onsen is not overly hot. There were also two open-air baths, so guests could take turns enjoying them without crowding—everyone’s good manners made us feel lucky. We stayed here because we had a memorial service in Fukui Prefecture, but there were so many things to enjoy inside the Accommodation—a table tennis area and manga corner—and there was even a morning market held in the lobby. One night wasn’t enough. Next time I’d love to come back for sightseeing at a more relaxed pace. Thank you as well for providing Shuttle Service to Awaraonsen Station.

Friends came from Mie and Nara and stayed here. Everyone was delighted with the shampoo bar when taking a bath, and they were impressed by how comfortable the bed was—they slept soundly and said their backs didn’t hurt. They left happily, saying they want to come again. This is my second stay, and I’d love to return again.

It was quiet and relaxing, and we could enjoy an ocean view from every Room. There were also sea-side seats during meals, so we were able to spend our time in a warm, peaceful mood. However, as West Izu is not very convenient for transportation, we would love to visit again and again if that could be improved.

It was absolutely wonderful. The Room was very clean, and it was perfect for staying with children. The washing machine and bathroom were also spotless, making the stay extremely comfortable and easy.

While Tokyo was experiencing relentless extreme heat every day, we thoroughly enjoyed the coolness of the highlands. Early in the morning, we could see Mt. Fuji from our Room. Perhaps because it is under the Tokyu Harvest brand, many guests were on the older side, and maybe by chance there were no inbound tour groups, so it was quiet and relaxing overall in both the restaurant and the baths. The front desk staff were also very friendly and pleasant, which we really appreciated. The Facility itself may not be new, but it has been renovated and felt clean, so there were no issues at all. Although it is located at an altitude of 700 m and takes a bit of time to reach from lower areas, we would definitely like to visit again.

We stayed with a total of seven guests—five adults and two young children—and everyone was able to relax comfortably throughout our stay. The luxurious, open layout was truly impressive, never once feeling cramped even with this many people. True to the “self auberge” concept, shopping for fresh local ingredients and taking our time cooking them over the lava stone hearth was an exceptional experience. It wasn’t just about cooking—we enjoyed a truly indulgent time gathered around the fire, relaxing and chatting at our own pace. The private sauna was also outstanding; after reaching peak relaxation, the panoramic view of the town from the elevated terrace was breathtaking. The interior design, amenities, and tableware were all thoughtfully curated down to the smallest details, making it feel like one night simply wasn’t enough. Both adults and children were completely satisfied, and we will definitely be back again.

This was my second stay. Last time I traveled solo and used a twin room as single occupancy, but this time I stayed with my partner (my wife) for 3 nights and 4 days. I booked a twin Western-style room for the first two nights, and a Japanese-Western style room for the third night because the twin was unavailable. However, thanks to the Hotel’s kindness, we were upgraded to a very spacious Japanese-Western style room for all three nights. Thank you very much. The main purpose of this trip was the Sapporo Snow Festival for the first time in six years. With hotel prices in central Sapporo rising sharply recently, we chose this Hotel again because we had a great experience before. When comparing rates, this Hotel with breakfast and dinner can sometimes be cheaper than central-area hotels with breakfast only (depending on when you make your Reservation). This time we rented a car from the airport, but if you are not used to driving on snowy roads, taking the bus is honestly recommended. Also, at this Hotel, if the schedule works out, using the free Shuttle Service bus is an excellent value. We used the Shuttle Service one-way from the Hotel to Sapporo Station on our second day (they were running five large buses). After enjoying the Snow Festival, we returned to the Hotel by taking Jotetsu Bus “Kappa Liner,” using its last service (departing 17:00 from in front of the station). On day three, we relaxed by visiting nearby Hoheikyo Onsen for a day trip bath and their famous curry, and took an easy stroll around town in the snowy hot-spring area. As for the Hotel itself, you can enjoy various baths at both an underground Onsen area and an observation bath & open-air bath on the top floor. That said—perhaps because there isn’t enough source water volume for baths of that size—the “Onsen feel” is slightly mild. Meals were buffet-style for both breakfast and dinner. Given that it was peak season at such a huge Resort Hotel, it gets extremely crowded in a massive dining venue, so it’s better to avoid peak times. The buffet selection may not match top-tier luxury resort standards, but it was satisfying—for example, breakfast included seafood bowls where you can add as much salmon roe as you like. If you’re visiting Sapporo for sightseeing, staying in central Sapporo is convenient; however, this Hotel offers great value with breakfast and dinner included plus Onsen access—and even free Shuttle Service buses from near Sapporo Station—so I may well return for a third stay. One extra note: the new wing has three glass elevators, and two regular elevators on the inner side of the building opposite them. The glass elevators have great views, but in midwinter (around -10°C), they are very cold inside, so we ended up using the inner ones most of the time.

The sound of the ocean waves is very soothing at this Hotel. The sea-facing Room offers an amazing view. There are four dog runs—indoor, rooftop, pool area, and next to the parking lot—allowing small dogs to play together a lot, which was very satisfying. The dinner kaiseki cuisine was incredibly delicious. Enjoying drinks and relaxing while our beloved dogs had their meals made for a truly happy time. This is definitely a place we would like to visit again. Thank you!

The meals were truly delicious! Dinner was especially great—I enjoyed plenty of sashimi, and the best dish of all was the steak. I’m really glad I tried it, and I’m grateful to the chef who prepared everything. Dessert was wonderful too—I left completely full and very satisfied!

This was my first stay, and I really enjoyed the beautiful views, the clean Room, and the delicious buffet. The paella was especially tasty. Since it was a weekday, the lounge wasn’t crowded, and I was able to enjoy plenty of alcoholic drinks. It was a very satisfying stay. Thank you very much. I would like to stay again.

I usually stay at health insurance association retreats or Tokyo ward-run resorts (paying the non-resident rate), but this place was available for about the same price, so I decided to try it. Since it was a weekday, only a few cars were in the parking lot, and it felt spacious and comfortable. In the lobby, there is a coffee machine that guests can use freely. The Room had been nicely renovated, was well cleaned, and provided a relaxing environment. There are three bathing areas that rotate between men and women by time slot. Perhaps out of consideration for nearby buildings, the women’s open-air bath is scheduled from nighttime to early morning, which felt reassuring. Compared with typical retreat facilities, the meals were far more upscale—generous portions and very tasty. The self-serve soy sauce soft-serve dessert is outstanding. Laying out futons in the Japanese-style Room is self-service, but if you don’t mind that, it offers great value for money. The staff were also polite and pleasant throughout. I’d like to stay again soon.

It was the season of fresh greenery, and the Accommodation was quiet and surrounded by nature. I had made a Reservation for a Room without a view, but they kindly upgraded me to a higher-floor Room with a better view. From the Room, I could see the river and mountains, and also look down on the courtyard with a pond—an open and relaxing Japanese-style room. It felt worth choosing even if it cost extra. The Onsen had an atmospheric bath with excellent water quality, and I could soak at ease. The outdoor bath lighting at night was beautiful. Dinner was half-buffet style, and I ate until I was full. I would definitely like to stay again—thank you very much.

Thank you for your hospitality the other day. Since champagne was available at the breakfast buffet, I was able to enjoy a relaxed morning and had the best holiday. Thank you very much. I’m giving the bath 4 stars because there’s no view, but I understand that, given the location, it can’t be helped—without frosted glass on the windows, it would be completely visible from outside. The entire property and guest room were thoroughly cleaned and very comfortable.

Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious, and we were very satisfied. The view from the Onsen was wonderful, and we were especially happy that there was a carbonated bath. The price was reasonable and made it easy to stay, which was very helpful. We would definitely like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

Staying at this price during the Obon holiday is wonderful. Although the exterior looks a bit worn, the inside has been nicely renovated and we were able to stay comfortably. The meals also offered sufficient quality and quantity for the price. However, perhaps because it was Obon, dinner felt drawn out as it took quite a long time for the next dishes to be served. That said, it was an Accommodation with excellent value for money and a high level of satisfaction.

The Onsen water quality was excellent in both the large public bath and the private reservable bath. I wished the bathing hours were extended until around 2:00 a.m., as I would have loved to soak one more time. The complimentary fondant chocolate and cold tea in the post-bath lounge were delicious. The brunch curry topped with roast beef was luxurious, beautifully presented, and very tasty. Being able to enjoy the perfect combination of Ureshino Onsen and Ureshino tea truly helped me recharge with nature’s energy. Thank you very much—I would love to stay again.

The Hotel is very close—once you reach the main road from the JR Kinshicho Station South Exit, you can see the building. It’s about a 5-minute walk including waiting at traffic lights, with excellent access. The 1F front desk is compact, but the staff were cheerful and very pleasant. It seemed like there were many international guests. The Room was much nicer than in the photos, and the bathroom area in particular felt spacious and luxurious. The number and placement of power outlets were also convenient. Amenities included four types of French Omnisens (30 ml each), prepared for each guest, and the scent and quality were soothing. The thick, fluffy towels and other linens—and even the bedding—were outstanding. The pajama-style nightwear and even a bathrobe left nothing to complain about. I was impressed by how delicious the complimentary red wine, premium juice, sparkling water, and snacks were; relaxing with Nespresso and tea was perfect, and having as many as eight bottles of mineral water was wonderful too. The Hotel itself is quite compact—there’s no lobby or lounge, and the elevator is small—but it has a European boutique-hotel feel. Relaxing in the Room made it perfect for a girls’ get-together. Breakfast also felt like just the right amount and variety for women. One small downside: I could only find an all-on/all-off light switch in the Room, which was a bit inconvenient. I’m amazed to find such a lovely Hotel at this price in Tokyo—very satisfied!

Our stay for three men, all turning 72 this year, was very enjoyable. - We could park right in front of the Hotel, and the lift ticket counter is connected to the front desk. The 1-day pass was inexpensive (about half the price of other ski resorts), and Accommodation guests also received a 500-yen discount. - Both the Room and the large public bath were spacious, so we could relax. The dinner buffet included 1 hour of all-you-can-drink, and although there was no all-you-can-eat crab option, dishes were replenished quickly when they ran out, which we enjoyed. - A few points to consider: the air conditioner in the Room was quite noisy, and there were no chairs in the ski locker room. Also, the shop’s refrigerator only had ice cream and no ice; unfortunately, a store diagonally across from the parking lot had sold out of ice as well. All of the Southeast Asian staff at both reception and the restaurant were very pleasant—thank you for a wonderful ski trip.

Tucked away a little off the prefectural road, this Accommodation is quietly situated—and truly wonderful. With only a small number of guest Rooms, they seem to focus on attentive hospitality. The meals were outstanding at both dinner and breakfast—so generous you’ll wonder if it’s really okay to eat that much. The price is a bit on the high side, but the value for money is excellent; everything was carefully prepared and genuinely delicious. We stayed as a couple, and the Room was quiet, spacious, and spotless. The Onsen was also fantastic and incredibly relaxing. The open-air bath is wide and spacious, and you can stretch out on a reclining chair in front of nature with nothing on—an amazing refresh that lets you forget everyday life for a while. There was complimentary summer mandarin juice at both the front desk and the large public bath area, and it was delicious too. Our Room had a semi-open-air bath, but that one felt fairly standard. I’m very disappointed that I slept in and missed going to the morning public bath. I’d love to stay again—the staff’s sincerity really came through.
