Everyone was delighted with the view of Mount Fuji right in front of us. The meat served during the meal was tender and satisfying at 200g. From the bath in the Room, a first-grader was overjoyed by the breathtaking view of Mount Fuji. The Hotel itself was quiet and peaceful.

This Accommodation is just a short walk from the Lake Towada sightseeing cruise pier. Dinner was robatayaki (traditional charcoal-grilled cuisine), expertly prepared by the cheerful staff, and we were very satisfied.

I stayed here while snow was gently falling. It was a huge help that they stored my luggage both before and after check-in. I stayed in Room 203. It’s a room with a balcony overlooking the garden. The room was very spacious, with a latest-model TV, a ReFa showerhead, a wide vanity, and a bathtub with a washing area. The toilet was fully automatic as well—everything was excellent. All amenities were MIKIMOTO. My hair usually feels rough when I use Hotel shampoo, but at this Accommodation it stayed smooth and silky. There is an guests-only lounge, and it was a lovely service that coffee, tea, and more were available freely until midnight. I also appreciated being able to take drinks back to my Room. I had coffee at check-in, and it matched my taste perfectly—really delicious. The breakfast I had been looking forward to was 100/100. I’ve eaten at luxury Hotels before, but this may have been the best I’ve ever had. Everything was wonderful, but what especially stood out were the yuzu-scented okara (unohana), fu dengaku, the white-dashi miso soup, and the dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet). When I mentioned it was my birthday this time, they decorated the guest room beautifully and even offered matcha—such thoughtful hospitality. All staff members were incredibly kind, with such a warm and homey atmosphere that made it easy to talk to them. Watching how warmly they treated other guests also made me feel happy. I think this is the best Accommodation—one that welcomes you warmly whether it’s for a special occasion or not. Next time I visit, I’ll come specifically to enjoy an unhurried Hotel stay. Thank you very much. I look forward to staying again.

Although I requested a non-smoking room, it smelled of cigarettes when I entered. I opened the window and turned on the ventilation fan and air purifier, and the smell eventually went away. Otherwise, everything was excellent. Check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM, so you can enjoy a relaxed stay. The Hotel in front of the station is easy to find, and there are many restaurants around it, which is very convenient. I would like to stay at this Hotel again.

This is my fourth visit. No matter when I come, I’m always completely satisfied with both the hot springs and the meals. I especially love the flounder sashimi.

This time, we stayed in a newly renovated room, and it was truly relaxing—we could even feel the changing seasons. From the staff who welcomed us, to those who guided us to our room, and the attentive hospitality at the dining area, everything was comfortable and wonderful. Since it was a weekday, we were also very satisfied to be able to use the open-air bath almost as if it were private. We hope more and more people will discover how great this inn is!

The facilities are a bit dated, but the warm hospitality more than makes up for it! They offer complimentary coffee and tea on the rooftop, and even provide popcorn in the lounge—such a kind place. Both breakfast and dinner are inexpensive yet very satisfying, offering excellent value for money. We’ll be back again—thank you in advance!

I booked Nanauraso after reading other guests’ reviews. My wife and daughter were very satisfied with how delicious the food was. The local fish was great, but the best part was the rice. Even though we live in Niigata Prefecture and buy Koshihikari directly from a farmer, the rice at Nanauraso was on another level. The staff and the proprietress were also very kind and warm. I would definitely like to stay again if I have the chance.

In addition to the splendid golden eye snapper, the sashimi and other dishes were also delicious and we really enjoyed them. The pudding was great too, but my personal favorite was the quiche. The owner, the hostess, and all the staff were kind and attentive. The Nekomatagi Championship was also fun. We were able to use the bath whenever we wanted for the most part. The guestbook mentioned facial lotion, but it wasn’t available in the bath area, so it would be even better if it were provided. With handmade town guides and other thoughtful touches, we felt a lot of warmth. It was a busy weekend trip, but a truly relaxing stay.

The Hotel itself is not particularly new, but it was clean and pleasant. The staff were also kind, courteous, and welcoming. With only five Rooms, we rarely encountered other guests and were able to enjoy a quiet stay. The Onsen left our skin smooth and was very relaxing.

I had never stayed in Matsushima before and wanted to relax, so I chose this property. The entrance view featuring a beautiful combination of the moon and pine trees was wonderful, and all the staff were polite and kind. The private bath was also lovely—carefully designed with attention to the scenery. The food, of course, was thoughtfully prepared and delicious, but I was also impressed that the staff uniforms used locally woven textiles, and even changed between morning and afternoon to match the atmosphere. It was an elegant property that beautifully incorporated local character and specialties. The hot spring water left my skin feeling incredibly smooth—you can truly feel it’s an onsen. I was able to spend a genuinely high-quality day here. The sake pairing with dinner was outstanding as well. As someone who loves sake, it was a wonderful option for me. This is a place I would definitely like to visit again.

It’s conveniently located for sightseeing, and the spacious Room is a real highlight. Even though it’s a tatami-style Room, the chairs and table are set at a comfortable height, making it perfect for getting work done on a business trip! The bath was wonderfully warming as well. Among the private baths available, the open-air bath with the best view is on the rooftop. Since there is no indoor bath, it may be quite challenging to use in winter—it takes some courage. That said, it offers a beautiful snowy-view bath experience. I think it has its own charm that’s different from summer scenery.

There were several bathtubs, and the open-air bath was especially relaxing. At dinner, we enjoyed Echizen grated soba, and the sweetfish tempura—leaving a slight bitterness of the innards—felt perfect for early summer. For dessert, we were even served delicious Fukuian Marseille melon. Breakfast also featured a variety of Fukui specialties and was very enjoyable, and the milk pudding dessert had a refreshing finish. At breakfast, milk, apple juice, iced coffee, hot coffee, and more were available to drink freely. Natto, nori seaweed sheets, and furikake were offered on an “only take what you want” basis. Since some people don’t eat these depending on their preferences—and at other places I’ve wondered what happens when individually wrapped items are served but left untouched—I thought this was a great way to avoid waste. I didn’t need them because there were plenty of side dishes to go with two bowls of white rice. I’d love to visit again in a different season.

We stayed at the villa for two nights with our Mameshiba and Chihuahua. The villa was new and very clean, and the bath in particular was amazing—we had a very comfortable stay. The meals were also delicious, with fresh sashimi and simmered golden eye snapper... we ended up eating too much. Thank you to all the staff for your courteous service.

We traveled with two dogs. Upon arrival, the staff warmly welcomed us and handled everything with great care, from showing us around the property to completing the check-in process. We chose a room-only plan, but we were still able to enjoy hands-on experiences such as using the kitchen equipment and the irori hearth. It was our first time staying in a traditional Japanese farmhouse, and it had been beautifully renovated—an amazing place that blends the comfort of a grandmother’s home with modern touches. The bathroom was my absolute favorite. The staff who assisted us by phone before our stay and at checkout were also extremely courteous; their service was outstanding, like that of a top-class hotel, which made us feel at ease throughout our trip. We’ve decided to make this our regular place to stay and will definitely return. Thank you very much.

As amazing as always! :) It would be great to have shoe polishing paper and a clothes brush available.

The guidance to the Room and the meal service were cheerful and courteous. The food was delicious, and the portions were just right.

This was my first stay. First of all, I can’t thank the staff enough for their kindness and attentive service, always with a warm smile. I didn’t know how to use the projector at first, so thank you for showing me how. The Onsen was absolutely wonderful. I especially loved the lukewarm bath—it left my skin feeling silky smooth.

Thank you very much for your exceptionally kind and attentive support.

We stayed here as a family. It was our first time staying on a remote island, but the owner welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived, so we were able to start our stay with peace of mind. The seafood shabu-shabu we had for dinner was truly outstanding, and we were impressed by how fresh everything was. It felt like an island-only luxury. They also kindly recommended places to buy groceries and some cafés, which made our stay even more fulfilling. Rather than simply staying overnight, we were able to truly enjoy our time on the island and in Ushimado. This trip meant a lot to our family, and we’re grateful to have made such wonderful memories. We’d love to visit again in a different season.
