Despite the very low open price, the meals—such as the pilgrim menu—were generous in portion, and every dish was carefully prepared and wonderfully delicious. Both the Room and the entire property were thoroughly cleaned, so we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

We avoid peak seasons and, every year in late August after the Obon holidays, my spouse and I visit a nearby Onsen to relax. We have stayed at this Accommodation once before, and the views from both the Room and the baths were excellent, and we were very satisfied with both breakfast and dinner. Dinner in particular was an abundant spread—crab, abalone, lobster, beef steak, simmered nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch), and sashimi including fatty tuna—so many dishes that we couldn’t finish them all.

Although I was traveling alone, I stayed in a twin Room! The moment I opened the door, I couldn’t help saying, “So spacious!” The high ceilings and many mirrors made it feel even larger. The two-seater sofa by the window also had plenty of space. Since it’s a long-established Hotel, the overall atmosphere is a bit retro, but that actually gave it a sense of elegance and calm that I really liked. I’d love to stay again.

Just as the title says. This was a family trip mainly for Kamogawa Sea World, and we were truly satisfied with everything—the service, the Onsen Facility, and the location. If I had to mention just one thing, the pool on the rooftop with an outstanding view would have been even better if it were a bit larger.

I stayed here last year and chose it for its convenient location right in front of the station for sightseeing in Toyama. It was great to have a bath, and the complimentary coffee service was a nice touch. Best of all was the excellent breakfast— I was impressed by the wide variety of freshly made sushi. Of course, everything else was delicious too, and I was completely satisfied! Done for my next stay as well.

I stayed here with my mother in her 80s. From the moment we arrived, we felt thoughtful attention to detail, and it left a wonderful impression. Enjoying a delicious cheesecake while looking out at the ocean was lovely, and we ended up relaxing in the lobby for quite a while. We stayed in two Japanese-style Rooms, which were spacious and comfortable, and the futons were exceptionally cozy. In the evening, there were unexpected activities like roasting marshmallows and watching fireworks, which became great memories. We only had breakfast, but it was elegantly seasoned with light flavors and generously featured ingredients from Mie Prefecture—everything was delicious. The portion size was just right. The baths were kept very clean, and all of them—including the open-air bath and pearl bath—were truly relaxing. The staff’s courteous service also made a great impression. We chose Shiojitei to celebrate my mother’s full recovery, and I’m glad she enjoyed it. I would definitely like to stay again!

It was my daughter’s first overnight stay, and seeing her eyes sparkle with excitement made it a wonderful memory for me as well. The amenities were well stocked, and the Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming, so we had a relaxing stay. We stayed with No Meals Included this time, but it was still more than satisfying. My daughter had a great time too, so I’m glad we chose this place for her first overnight stay. We’re considering staying again—she’d like to use the Onsen, and we’d love to stay in the princess-themed Room she mentioned.

I stayed at Shimoda Yamatokan again this time. I’ve visited many times, and every time I come, it reminds me, “I’m so glad I chose this place.” The view of Tatadohama Beach right in front of the Accommodation is always stunning, and simply gazing at the ocean from the Room is incredibly relaxing. The food is delicious every time, and I was able to enjoy the Onsen at a leisurely pace—another very satisfying stay. Above all, the warm hospitality from all the staff is truly wonderful. Some staff members even remember me, which gives me a comforting feeling like coming home. Thank you again for a wonderful time!

We stayed here to celebrate my mother’s 90th birthday. Thank you for all your thoughtful care—we had a wonderful time. It’s close to my family home, and the parking is easy to use, so I’d like to stay again. Next time, I’m thinking of choosing a Western-style Room for my mother, who has back problems. Having iced water already in the kettle in the Room was very helpful.

I was able to take a weekday off for my regular hospital visit, so I stayed at a great rate. The sashimi and beef at dinner were excellent. I had a wonderful time listening to the sound of the waves. I’ve stayed here so many times that I’ve lost count, but this time I visited with my parents for my birthday trip. No matter when I come, the food is always satisfying, the Room is wonderful, and the Onsen leaves your skin silky smooth—nothing to complain about. Also, the light snacks in the annex lounge are exquisite, which makes me want to stay here again. They even celebrated my birthday, and it was a fantastic trip right to the end. This is an Accommodation that never disappoints no matter how many times I visit, so I’d like to keep coming back. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay in August, and everything was outstanding! First, the food: starting with peach soup with lobster on the first day, followed by artistically beautiful and delicate dishes. On the second day as well, from the prosciutto and Shine Muscat appetizer to char, wood-fired lamb… everything was perfect through dessert—we truly enjoyed every bite. The garden is spacious and beautifully maintained, with wonderful views. The open-air rock bath was amazing. The Room was also spacious and spotless, allowing us to relax at our own pace—it was pure bliss. The staff’s greetings were warm and pleasant, and this is an Accommodation we definitely want to return to. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

We stayed here as a family during our summer vacation. The pancakes, pudding, and every meal were all very delicious. We felt a warmth in the staff’s hospitality that isn’t swayed by changing times, and it made us feel pleasantly nostalgic. The approach to the Hotel was a bit hard to find, and when I reached the lobby and saw the small front desk, I wondered if I had made a mistake with my Reservation. We stayed as a group of five and booked two Rooms—a triple and a twin—but the triple Room was especially small. Those were my only concerns. However, the Rooms were very clean—everything was spotless and well maintained. The small Room size was made up for by the large public bath, and above all, we were extremely satisfied with how delicious breakfast was! Beautiful presentation, great seasoning, and breakfast in a quiet space without any noise or bustle!! Everyone was very happy. If I have friends planning to visit Kanazawa next time, I will definitely recommend it. I think it’s a high-quality Hotel that exceeds its price. Please give it a try!

I understand you are now in your 18th generation—when it comes to Onsen Accommodations, nothing compares to a long-established inn. Of course, both the large public bath and the in-Room bath are fed directly from the source with free-flowing spring water. The staff were exceptionally attentive—so much so that we almost felt apologetic for receiving such kindness. Above all, the dining was outstanding, far beyond anything we had imagined. The tableware was also beautiful throughout, including pieces inspired by Rosanjin’s works, making each meal a delight not only for the palate but also for the eyes. The Kaga cuisine was delicately seasoned yet deeply flavorful. Everything was immaculately cleaned, and the view from the window was truly soothing. While preserving the charm of this historic inn, the property has been beautifully renewed with touches of contemporary art woven in seamlessly. Naturally, many Rosanjin works are displayed throughout the building as well, and they were well worth seeing. I also suspect many guests may not notice this—but in the lobby, Rooms, and bathing areas: there are countless chairs everywhere, and most appear to be high-end pieces. I can only imagine how much has been invested overall; especially the chair inside the elevator must be quite expensive. Even details like lighting and clocks have clearly been chosen with great care. We visited with very high expectations for an Onsen Accommodation, yet everything surpassed them by a wide margin—truly impressive. We would love to return again soon.

We visited on a family trip to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The parking lot in front of the main entrance was full, but we were able to park in the guest-only area as there was space available. The Onsen in the open-air bath was wonderful, and the meals were packed with delicious Niigata dishes and plenty of sashimi, which our whole family enjoyed. Unfortunately, it seemed there was no live piano performance that day, but another guest played beautifully, and we had a lovely time with coffee. We would like to visit again in a different season. All of the staff were very pleasant—thank you very much.

I stayed for two nights as a solo traveler. The Hotel and my Room were very clean, and I was able to enjoy the Onsen and large public bath comfortably. Although it was all-inclusive, I chose to add a luxurious dinner and breakfast on both nights, and I was truly impressed that the menus were changed each day. The locally sourced ingredients were delicious, and in particular the olive-fed beef was tender and easy to eat even when well done. Even as a solo guest, the staff treated me warmly. The restaurant staff especially spoke with me with genuine smiles, creating a relaxed atmosphere that left me with wonderful memories of my trip. Thank you very much. The lounge I used after dinner was also very spacious with a great ambiance, and I was surprised by the wide variety of drinks available. They even served udon as a late-night snack, which really gave me a taste of Kagawa. I sincerely appreciate everyone’s warm hospitality. This is a Hotel I would love to stay at again when I visit Kagawa.

I originally planned to stay for one night and then move to another Accommodation, but it was so comfortable that I extended my stay for a Multiple Night Stay. The property was very clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the view was beautiful. Breakfast was carefully prepared, and on the second day they changed the menu. They also provided options for children. During my stay, I enjoyed coffee, and in the evening I had a little alcohol as well. It was a wonderful stay. The view from the Room was great, and the Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Thank you very much.

The Room was clean, and the bath was unique with wonderful hot water. I was impressed by the thoughtful amenities, such as plastic bags for wet towels. The meals were delicious, and when I said I was full, they kindly prepared sasadango dessert and tea so I could enjoy them in my Room. The dashimaki tamago at breakfast was excellent, with many dishes, and the rice was also delicious. With Shuttle Service to the station and the warm hospitality of all the staff, it was a very pleasant Ryokan.
