I woke up around 3:00 a.m. and, lying down while looking at Kinko Bay and the crystal-clear starry sky, I saw shooting stars one after another—more than a dozen. It was the first time in my life I had ever seen so many. The walk to the Hotel, the atmosphere in the lobby, and the pool’s blue lighting all felt like being somewhere outside Japan. Since we stayed as a family of three, it became a wonderful memory and we were able to truly relax. Thank you very much.

I had always wanted to visit Himi, but I struggled to find the perfect accommodation that matched my ideal. After extensive research, I discovered this wonderful accommodation. This small luxury retreat accommodates only two groups per day, but on the day of our stay, we were fortunate to have it all to ourselves. It felt like having a private villa—a truly luxurious experience. The meals exceeded all expectations. The creative dishes featuring Toyama's seafood were absolutely exquisite. What elevated this culinary experience even further was the sake pairing selected by the proprietress, who is a certified sake sommelier. Each pairing perfectly complemented each dish and brought out the full flavors of Toyama's seafood. Conversations with all the staff were also incredibly enjoyable. This is an accommodation that makes you want to return again and again. Wishing you continued success in your endeavors! Thank you very much!

We stay here every summer. The Tsumagoi pool isn’t overly large, and there are several types of water slides, so there’s almost no waiting time and you can really enjoy it. There’s a wide variety of food options that both kids and adults will be satisfied with, and the eel was delicious as well. It’s a very spacious Facility where you can relax and enjoy many different activities. If I could add one thing, I think we’d be even more satisfied if there were a lounge or other place to unwind, even if it required an additional fee. We’d like to come again next year.

This was our third stay. There is a dedicated entrance for dogs, so we were able to relax without worrying about other guests. Since it was the Obon holiday, there were events, and perhaps some guests went out leaving their dogs behind, so we were slightly bothered by a neighboring dog barking. We also noticed some footsteps from small children, but our timid dog didn’t seem too concerned and appeared to relax comfortably. Fireworks went up close to the window, and being able to watch them with our dog from a cool room felt like a dream. The meals were delicious and generously portioned—we were very satisfied. Thank you very much. We’re looking forward to coming again.

The meal, made with plenty of local ingredients, was satisfying in both quality and quantity. It paired very well with the local sake we received as a perk. The Room was flawless, including the open-air bath. The large public bath at the sister property across the road (seaside) was also excellent, but since it was rainy that day, it felt a bit inconvenient to use. The large public bath at SAZANA was also a little small, which was the only disappointment. The service was friendly and attentive, and we were truly able to relax. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

The contrast between the lingering snow on Mt. Tateyama and Toyama Bay is outstanding. The hot water was comfortable, and the meals were just the right amount for me. If I had to suggest improvements: one bath’s changing room is small, and a long bench takes up too much space. It’s hard to tell the yukata sizes. The dining room is cramped and nearby conversations can be distracting, so some background music might help. It was an Accommodation I’d like to use again.

I’d been wanting to go fishing and had been curious about this Accommodation for a while, so I was finally able to stay here. The building and facilities felt a bit aged overall, but that created a calm atmosphere where I could relax without any pretense. There was tea-scented incense in the room, which really impressed me. I thoroughly enjoyed fishing, and at both dinner and breakfast the staff kindly explained everything in detail—their thoughtful hospitality made it a warm and comfortable stay. The meals were excellent in both quantity and quality. I’d love to come back in another season to enjoy fishing, the Onsen, and the food again.

As I was pregnant, we stayed here for what would be our last trip as a family of three. The staff were very polite and attentive. They explained the Room thoroughly, and since it came with an open-air bath, we were able to relax and enjoy bathing privately as a family. The meals were delicious, and at check-out they even took a photo of us at the entrance, leaving us with wonderful memories.

Close to Chikura Beach, we went surfing in the morning, then after checking in at 3:00 PM, we enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi. In the evening, we took our time with a BBQ—it was a truly fulfilling stay.

Although I had heard about the baths through Reviews, they were far more wonderful than I ever imagined. I was also very satisfied with the amenities, and the meals were delicious. I was delighted to see thoughtful touches everywhere—such as spare towels in the bath area and plastic bags for wet items. The staff were excellent as well; at breakfast, when I was about to eat an egg, they quickly brought me salt and pepper, and even the housekeeping staff I met on my way out spoke to me kindly. I was truly satisfied until the very end. I will definitely visit again.

I visited after a mountain hike. At check-in, we were offered only a cold hand towel, with no tea or sweets, and were shown to our Room. The Accommodation is small, but it felt clean throughout, including the Room, so we were able to stay comfortably in that respect. There was also complimentary beer service, but it was a bit disappointing that it was served in a cup rather than a mug or glass. The bath uses mineral spring water and has no taste or smell. I didn’t notice anything in particular while soaking, but after a while my skin felt smooth. Also, as time passed my body warmed up nicely, so it’s a good bath. As the Reviews said, the meals featured plenty of Toyama ingredients. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, but I think the dining experience would be even better with some explanation of the dishes. That said, during the meal the staff member in charge only said things like “Here you are” and “I’ll clear these,” which felt a little impersonal. I could hear another staff member serving the table behind us saying things like “Would you like more rice?” and “Would you like seconds?”, so it may depend on each person’s approach—but I wished for slightly more guest-focused service from our attendant. I was also concerned about there being cameras installed in several places; it felt somewhat like being watched. If they were placed more discreetly or with more consideration, it might feel less uncomfortable. Overall though, I think it was a good Accommodation.

Unfortunately, it rained with occasional cloudy skies, so it was a shame we couldn’t enjoy the spacious garden terrace in sunny weather. Going down the stairs without a handrail felt a bit scary because it seemed slippery, but overall we were satisfied.

We appreciate your flexibility in adjusting the meal time even when we couldn’t arrive as scheduled due to traffic. Regarding the large public bath, it closes at 9:30 a.m., so we would be grateful if it could stay open a little longer in the morning. Thank you for your courteous service.

I stayed here for a friend’s birthday. The food was delicious, and the place was spacious and wonderful! Above all, the Onsen had a great variety, was clean, and helped me feel refreshed! However, it was a bit disappointing to find some hair in the Room and one of the lights wasn’t working. Other than that, I had a really great stay! Thank you very much! Next time I come back, I’d like to stay in a larger Room!

We stayed here for a family trip for the first time in a while. It was a wonderful Accommodation, just as friends had recommended if we were staying in Dogo. As many Reviews mention, the location is truly excellent. It’s close to Dogo Onsen Honkan, and it was an easy walk—enjoying shopping along the arcade—to Dogo Onsen Station and the Karakuri Clock. We had informed them in advance that we would use the parking lot, and upon arrival they kindly guided us there, which made it very easy to understand. Our Room was on the 7th floor with a great view over Dogo town; our son relaxed while looking out at the scenery the whole time. Thank you for arranging such a nice view. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, and everything was delicious. A staff member in training quickly noticed and cleared empty plates, so even with four of us we could keep plenty of space on the table. We were especially happy to be able to try tai-meshi. The bath—praised by my family as well (“I’m glad you chose an Accommodation with an open-air bath!”)—was a comfortable size. The open-air bath felt wonderful with the night breeze; we could look up at the sky and unwind, which really eased our daily fatigue. In the morning there were fewer people as well, so we could soak slowly. The relaxation area prepared outside the bath (the water was delicious) also had chairs by the window with a panoramic view. It was great being able to enjoy both nighttime and morning views of Dogo. Before our stay I emailed some questions; they replied quickly and explained everything carefully, which helped us feel at ease. If I had one small suggestion, it would be that an exhaust fan in the toilet inside the guest Room would have been nice. Overall, everyone on staff was very pleasant and we were very satisfied. Our trip to Dogo Onsen became a wonderful memory thanks to choosing Chaharu. Thank you very much.

I was able to relax and take it easy. Sitting by the fireplace, I enjoyed the nostalgic scent, sound, and flames of the burning firewood. The free-flow alcohol and drinks were wonderful—I was pleasantly surprised. It was perfect for a quick drink after a bath. The snacks were delicious as well; it felt like you really let the quality of the ingredients speak for itself. The evening buffet also had a handmade feel and was very tasty. Breakfast offered so many options that I couldn’t try everything. If I have the chance, I’d love to stay again.

This was my first time staying here. It felt like a traditional Onsen Accommodation, and I had a very comfortable stay. I was able to relax in the Onsen, and I also really enjoyed the dinosaur-themed bath. The amenities were well stocked, and although I checked in late, I appreciated that the futon had already been laid out for me. Just one thing… when I tried to put something in the refrigerator—“!!”. Maybe it was left by a previous guest? There was ice cream inside, and it surprised me. Since it was tucked away in the back, it probably went unnoticed. It became a funny travel story for me, but I worried that others might not feel the same. Overall, though, I’m very satisfied. I’d love to stay again if I have the chance.

I was a little worried because I had seen a Review saying it was old, but everything had been renovated and I was very satisfied! The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and I left completely full. There was also a dessert buffet and ochazuke as a late-night snack, so you will definitely be full! Our Room had a wonderful view of Angel Road. The bath area was clean and relaxing. I was also happy to receive amenities for women only. Access involves walking up a hill, but it’s close to sightseeing spots and worked perfectly as a base for exploring. We also played table tennis and had a great time. I couldn’t be happier—I spent my stay feeling truly happy. Thank you very much.

All the staff were extremely courteous, and we had a very comfortable stay. The meals were delicious, and the private open-air bath was especially relaxing and wonderful. The complimentary services were also excellent, so we enjoyed our time in the property as well. They kindly recommended places to visit for our planned Kanazawa sightseeing the next day, which made it even more enjoyable.

Although it was during the summer vacation season, it wasn’t overly crowded, and we fully enjoyed the delicious meals and the Onsen. I quickly finished breakfast and went to work, and since I returned in the evening, I only had breakfast and dinner, but they also had Häagen-Dazs ice cream, so I was very satisfied with what was offered. If I come back to this area again, I would like to stay here again.
