The amenities are minimal, but it would be nice to have bath salts. The Room is spacious and clean, and I was satisfied with the well-stocked drinks in the refrigerator. The bath is also large, so you can relax and soak comfortably. The fish at breakfast was delicious. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit.

A peaceful Onsen Accommodation tucked away in the mountains. The silky-smooth hot spring water was wonderful. The old building has been renovated and feels clean, and the meals were delicious—I’d definitely like to visit again. However, the road to the Accommodation is a narrow single-lane route, so it may not be suitable for large vehicles or guests who are not confident drivers. There are also many stairs inside and outside the building, so it may not be ideal for elderly guests or anyone with mobility concerns.

Everyone was delighted with the view of Mount Fuji right in front of us. The meat served during the meal was tender and satisfying at 200g. From the bath in the Room, a first-grader was overjoyed by the breathtaking view of Mount Fuji. The Hotel itself was quiet and peaceful.

We came back for a second try to see the fireflies after missing them last year. Perhaps thanks to the good weather and temperature that day, we were able to enjoy a breathtaking display of fireflies like a sky full of stars—it was truly moving! Being welcomed by the cats was also very soothing. We’d love to visit again next year.

This Ryokan offers luxurious, delicious meals. Both dinner and breakfast are generous in portion size. The complimentary coffee service after breakfast is also a nice touch. It is popular with locals as well, and seems to host many group stays and memorial gatherings. The Facility is old, but the bathrooms have been renovated, and the baths are cleaned frequently and kept very clean. At check-in, you will receive a full set of basic amenities.

This was my third visit to Itoshima, the first in two years. Last time, after heavy rain the day before, it suddenly turned into a midsummer day, and the breathtaking sunset—changing moment by moment against the vast ocean—was truly moving. I enjoyed delicious food and the relaxed pace that only an all-inclusive stay can offer. This time had a different atmosphere and some changes. Arriving in a downpour with luggage, I climbed the stone steps to check in. What surprised me right away was “10:00 checkout”! I never expected it to be an hour earlier—maybe a pitfall of being a repeat guest? I was told it was changed because lunch service starts at 11:00 with reservations… but 10:00 still feels far too early. Since we spend about four hours round trip for an overnight stay, we want to relax as much as possible. If possible, I hope you will consider setting check-in to 16:00 and returning checkout to 11:00—I would be glad if this request from repeat guests reaches you. This time we dined while watching the post-rain evening scenery, and the food was just as delicious as ever—I was very satisfied. The soup course in particular had wonderful Japanese dashi flavor and was deeply comforting, and the tempura made from fresh squid (prepared after sashimi) was especially appreciated; as someone who loves cooking at home, having a professional fry dishes is a real treat. It was also disappointing not to see any of the staff members from previous visits. The photo shows “Itoshima Bay—an evening view after the rain.”

After deciding “This is the place!” on social media, I looked forward to my stay. Having the seafood grilled by an ama diver, I had never seen such a large abalone before. I tried abalone liver for the first time—it was delicious. The turban shell liver wasn’t bitter either, and everything was grilled to just the right doneness. The leftover sashimi was simmered for breakfast the next morning, which was also wonderful. A Ryokan packed with great flavors—I was completely satisfied. Thank you very much.

I stayed here during the Obon holiday. I came thinking, “The view looks nice, and as long as I can sleep well, that’s enough,” but in the best way possible, my expectations were completely exceeded. This time I stayed in a Japanese-style room before the renovation, and it felt very clean. The futon was fluffy, and above all, the view from the window was amazing. The Onsen wasn’t overly large and had a calm, relaxing atmosphere, so I was able to unwind at a leisurely pace. Most memorable of all was the warm hospitality from the wonderful owner couple and all of the staff. Of course the Accommodation itself is very comfortable, but I think what makes you want to come back is this kind of genuine warmth from people. On top of that, at check-out there was an exclusive service for guests: a photo shoot by the owner, who is also a professional photographer! The beautiful photo data were later sent by email as well—it became an unexpected and very happy memory. I also heard they are continuing to renovate parts of the building little by little even now, so it’s exciting to see how it changes with each visit. I’m really looking forward to seeing what kind of Accommodation it will become in the future. Even though I went planning “just to stay overnight,” I came home with wonderful memories—including the scenery, the Onsen, and meeting such kind people. I would definitely love to visit again. *This isn’t directly related to Hotel services, but please note that the entrance from the street can be a bit hard to find, and some parts of the road leading up to this Accommodation are narrow. If you’re coming by car, it may help to drive carefully on your way here.*

On my usual route through East Izu, this was the first time I stayed at this Accommodation. Located below the Usami Castle ruins, it was bright and very welcoming. There were many meal options to choose from, and the spiny lobster sashimi and simmered splendid alfonsino were exceptionally fresh—unique to Izu—and truly delicious. The Onsen and open-air bath were also spacious and wonderful! This is an Accommodation I’d like to visit every year.

This was my first stay here. The building itself had a charming sense of history, but everything inside was thoroughly cleaned, and the Onsen was incredibly relaxing. At another Onsen Ryokan where I stayed before, I noticed a musty smell in the hallways, so this level of cleanliness alone made me glad I chose this place. There was also coffee service, and it was delicious. There were plenty of restaurants toward the station within walking distance, so we were able to enjoy dinner without any trouble. We had breakfast at the Accommodation, and when I asked where to dispose of empty cans and plastic bottles from the Room, a breakfast staff member kindly took them for us. Their warm words made for a pleasant start to the day along with a great meal. When we checked out, they even took a commemorative photo for us at the entrance—every staff member was wonderful. Next time, I’d like to stay with dinner included. It was an Accommodation we were truly satisfied with.

We used the accommodation for sightseeing by car on three islands in Ehime. It was difficult to find an accommodation with meals included, especially the day before our stay, but we were lucky to secure a reservation. The price was very reasonable, and although we didn’t expect luxurious meals initially, the food provided exceeded our expectations and was incredibly satisfying. The dishes included sashimi, simmered sea bream head, fried sea bream, side dishes, and more. We were amazed that the sea bream rice was all-you-can-eat! Not only for dinner but also for breakfast, sea bream rice was served—such variety at such an affordable price is unbelievable. If we have another chance, we would love to stay again. Thank you very much!

All the Accommodations in Ueki Onsen have silky-smooth water and a gentle temperature, so I can soak slowly—it's my favorite. This time I stayed at Matsunoyu on an upgraded Plan; dinner was so plentiful I couldn’t finish it, but breakfast had a lot of tsukudani-style items and felt quite salty, which was a bit disappointing.

On our Atami trip with my mother, daughter, and six grandchildren, we chose this Accommodation hoping to relax here rather than focus on sightseeing. We were amazed at how much larger the Room was than it looked in the photos, and every dish was delicious—each one served with great care—so both our hearts and stomachs were completely satisfied. Above all, we were truly moved by the warm hospitality of the staff from arrival to departure, which made it a wonderful family trip. On the drive home, we all said together, “We want to come again!” Thank you very much.

I think it’s outstanding for relieving lower back pain and fatigue. I was traveling by public transportation and usually had to take breaks because of my back pain, but the day after soaking in the Onsen here, I was able to walk all day without any pain. It was very gentle, not strongly scented, and truly a wonderful bath. As for the Facility, it felt a little old. The meals were generous in portion and very delicious. Although the Facility felt a bit dated, I was still able to relax comfortably. In any case, the Onsen was great! I’d like to visit again in winter.

Amazed by how delicious the food was! Honestly, since it’s in the countryside I didn’t expect much, but dinner was surprisingly good. Everything was tasty with Kanto-style seasoning, and the simmered sea bream head was outstanding. In each appetizer, you could feel the chef’s love for cooking. The local specialty, Iwakuni sushi, also had a gentle flavor and was exquisite.\nFor the Room, we recommend the second-floor corner Room where Uno Chiyo’s father once indulged in lavish stays.

The authentic Japanese cuisine was excellent. I would love to stay here again when I visit. The bath was very relaxing, and I had a great night's sleep. As a side note, for those visiting Iwaki, I highly recommend seeing the "Hawaiians Show" and the "Iwaki Coal & Fossil Museum Horuru."

The locally caught fish dishes were very delicious. Since it wasn’t buffet-style, we were able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. The open-air bath had a milky white sulfur spring, with a great atmosphere, and it warmed us up thoroughly. It’s far even from Aomori, but it’s a hidden gem.

The meals were absolutely delicious. Among all the guesthouses we’ve stayed at so far, this one was outstanding by far! We were also surprised by the very reasonable prices for alcoholic drinks. We were moved by the silhouette of Mt. Fuji glowing in the sunset from our Room, and by the moon and stars in the night sky. Thank you for such a wonderful time!

What stood out most was how wonderful the guest Room (Kagegetsutei) was. Although it is a new Room with just over a year since opening, I was very satisfied with the spaciousness and feel, the furnishings, and the amenities. The stone-built in-room bath was also large, the water temperature was just right, and the shower pressure was strong and refreshing. If it had been an Onsen, there would have been nothing more to ask for, but even so it warmed me up well. On the other hand, LIBERTY RESORT’s Onsen Facility is very spacious and has many baths, but except for one of them, the water felt a little lukewarm to me. We also had our meal inside the bathing Facility, and all of the staff were kind, so we were able to spend our time comfortably. It was a course meal that included spiny lobster, but I especially remember how large the abalone was. Since we stayed on a weekday, the entire Facility was very quiet and relaxing, though it felt a bit lonely. I hope more guests will come to enjoy LIBERTY RESORT’s facilities.

It was a very beautiful place! We stayed in Villa 2, but we couldn’t figure out where it was even with the map… When we went to reception, a very kind woman helped us and showed us the way. We were looking forward to the private Onsen, but we were told that since the villa has its own bath, we couldn’t use the Onsen… We were very disappointed. I’m giving it 4 stars in hopes that they will clearly state that the entrance and parking lot are further inside so anyone can find them easily. The room was of course clean, and we were able to relax and enjoy our time. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance. Next time, I’d love to take a walk down to the sea too!
