There were four private Onsen baths, and each one was very clean and a pleasure to use—it really helped me unwind. I usually manage about three visits, but I wanted to try all four, so I pushed myself. The meals were truly delicious. They were mainly Japanese-style, with some Western-style dishes in between, so I enjoyed a great variety. The fish had absolutely no odor and was so fresh that I felt I had never tasted anything like it before—what a surprise. Dinner and breakfast rice and miso soup were also excellent, which I really appreciated. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

I stay here every year when I’m in town for work. The food is delicious, and the staff are always welcoming, so I keep coming back every time. I look forward to staying again next time. (I’ll be sure to visit even when it’s not for work!)

This Accommodation is a day-use Onsen Facility with lodging, overlooking the satoyama landscape of Okuizumo. Thank you for letting us stay at a very reasonable rate as part of the “Special Room Grand Reopening Commemorative” offer. The Room was clean and comfortable. The refrigerator was well stocked with complimentary drinks such as beer, chu-hi, sake, and tea. There was also a coffee machine with plenty of coffee beans provided—perfect for coffee lovers. The open-air bath is not very open, but it is free-flowing from the source. However, since the source temperature is low at 29°C, it was disappointing that hot water needs to be added. Because it was hot in July, we mostly bathed using the source water as-is. When I returned to the air-conditioned Room I felt chilly at first, but afterward my body warmed up from the core. The large public bath was far from the Special Room, but I still went three times. I noticed a slight chlorine smell, but it was nicely warm. It would be ideal if the in-room bath’s spring water could be heated. For dinner we had the top-tier “Matsu Kaiseki” at a table in the restaurant. At this great price (50,000 yen), we were fully satisfied; however, if it were priced at 70,000–80,000 yen or more for two people, I think more creativity would be needed both in the dining setting and in the meal content. As of writing this Review on IKYU.com , it seems that Special Rooms are not currently being sold there. We were glad to enjoy beautiful satoyama views with no solar panels or anything else in sight from this Accommodation. All staff served us with warm smiles and pleasant hospitality. I also appreciated that most staff were local Japanese rather than foreign workers. We support hardworking Japanese Ryokan like yours. If charging regular rates, we hope you will consider adding one more step of “specialness” worthy of a Special Room. We would love to stay again.

We stayed here this time because it was conveniently located about halfway between Hitoshi Honten for dinner and the ferry terminal for the next morning. What stood out most was Vessel’s highly rated breakfast buffet—an excellent spread with plenty of variety. The staff were also cheerful and kind, which made our stay very comfortable. The only downside was that there is no large public bath; however, the unit bath comes with bath salts, and the sink/vanity area is separate outside the bathroom, so it was acceptable. The rooms and amenities were cleaner than the exterior might suggest, and with larger windows and a layout that feels spacious. While in-room drink amenities are limited, detox water and mango-pine juice are available in the lobby for a relatively long time. There’s also a FamilyMart just a short walk away (and vending machines on-site), so we had no trouble at all. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Nice to meet you. This was our older siblings’ once-a-year trip to Tomakomai (meeting up with our cousins in Tomakomai), and we were very satisfied with the complimentary drinks and other services at the Hotel group’s izakaya. We stayed here on a trip with my parents-in-law. Our top priority was finding an Accommodation that could provide a low-sodium diet for my father-in-law, who became seriously ill last year. If possible, we also wanted to bring our dog along, since my parents-in-law adore him. Those two points are why we chose this Accommodation. From the parking guidance to our Room, we were warmly welcomed by staff with wonderful smiles. They also prepared chairs for my elderly father and even a chair for the in-room Onsen bath, so within 30 minutes of arriving at the Ryokan we already felt truly happy. What impressed us most was the meals. We were told they would “accommodate as much as possible,” and they really did—removing mentaiko, providing low-sodium soy sauce, and preparing dishes without salt or pepper. Thanks to all these adjustments, my father was able to finish almost everything. Since his illness, even eating out requires constant caution, so being able to enjoy a meal together at the Ryokan made us genuinely grateful. Some Reviews mentioned there were no dog amenities, but there were lint rollers and paw wipes available, so we had no issues. The usual overnight set you’d bring when leaving a dog at a pet hotel (pee pad tray, food bowl, water bowl) was enough. The in-room Onsen bath was very spacious, with perfect water temperature—I used it many times. All of the staff at this Accommodation were kind and pleasant throughout our stay; it was truly two days of happiness. We would love to visit again!

This is the most comfortable Hotel I’ve stayed at during business trips to Tokyo. Having a separate washing area in the bathroom is fantastic—no shower curtain sticking to you. The bath and toilet are also separate, and the Room feels very clean, making for a truly comfortable stay. I’d definitely like to stay here again on my next business trip to Tokyo.

In terms of the Facility, cleanliness, price, and everything else, this was a Hotel we were extremely satisfied with. Also, the young man who assisted us at check-in was kind and courteous, and his smile was wonderful. (Since we were coming and going early in the morning and late at night outside of check-in, we only had that one interaction, which was a shame.)
