Convenient location and affordable rates for your stay in Takasaki.

Very convenient and close to the station.

I stayed for one night starting September 28. Since the accommodation offered rental bicycles, I walked from Karuizawa Station to the accommodation (about 10 minutes), left my luggage at the front desk, and rented a bicycle to go out. (The cost was 1,650 yen per day or 2,450 yen for an electric bike as I recall.) Renting a bicycle directly from the hotel made it very convenient as I didn’t have to walk back after returning it. Although the building felt a bit old, the room seemed renovated with new tatami mats and comfortable beds. It was refreshing to see beds placed on tatami mats, allowing me to relax both on the bed and on the tatami floor. I also felt secure placing my luggage directly on the tatami mats. Complimentary bottled water (one per person) and apple snacks were provided in the room. At reception, items like stick coffee packets, facial cleansers, and lotions were available for individual pickup. As there was no private bath in my room, I used the public bathhouse instead. The bathhouse was equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body soap—offered in about three varieties—which were quite sufficient. However, having makeup remover would have been even better. There were only two hair dryers available in total; they lacked power so drying long hair might take some time. A water dispenser was also provided near the bath area which allowed me to rehydrate after bathing—a nice touch. Breakfast included medicinal porridge dishes along with pork miso soup (tonjiru), grilled salmon, and various side dishes—all of which were satisfying! For those who don’t prefer porridge though white rice substitutions are possible upon request; coffee too could be self-served freely during breakfast hours! Overall experience staying here proved pleasant & enjoyable enough that I'd certainly consider returning again someday!

I stayed with my child who lives alone in Niigata, and our dogs. Since there was no fee for dogs, we were told to bring everything ourselves, so we prepared accordingly. As there was no extra charge, I won’t complain. The Room was spacious, and the dogs were thrilled to run around. Although it is an older Ryokan, it was kept very clean. The tea sweets were also delicious. The bath was spacious and relaxing. I was happy that it was available from 3:00 PM to 9:00 AM. The meals were delicious as well. The Uonuma rice came with free refills, so we had seconds at both dinner and breakfast. Great quality for this price—easy on the wallet and a wonderful memory.

It is just a short walk from Kataharamachi Station, and there is a supermarket nearby, making shopping convenient. I always stay here when I am in Takamatsu. Thank you as always.

I stayed in a Japanese-style room. There was a microwave and kettle, and I could relax as if I were at home since I could soak in the bathtub. It was very convenient with a convenience store next door where I could easily buy snacks. If I had to mention something, it would be that the hairdryer could have been more powerful. Check-out was easy as all I had to do was drop the key in the post box. I would love to stay here again if given the chance. Thank you!

The night before, after watching “Himitsu no Kenmin Show,” I made a Reservation right away so I could try Koran’s beef-bone ramen in Kudamatsu City. Both Koran and Business Hotel Kudamatsu are located in front of Kudamatsu Station. It felt like a regional city that doesn’t get many tourists, so I was able to secure a Room quickly. It’s right by the station, and the exterior is clean with a stylish fan-shaped cross-section. That said, the building seems old. However, there are no major Business Hotel chains nearby, so it feels like they have the area to themselves—probably because there aren’t many tourists staying overnight in Kudamatsu City. That makes sense: the nearest expressway interchange is Tokuyama-Higashi IC. There is also the Kudamatsu Service Area, but it’s far from Kudamatsu Station. If you mistake the service area for an exit, you’ll likely end up going even farther east to Kumage IC. If you’re heading to Kudamatsu City, be careful not to take the wrong interchange.

I found this Accommodation by searching on YouTube and stayed for one night during Golden Week in May. The price was reasonable for a one-night stay with two meals included. Although it had a new name after a change in management from the previous Hotel, it felt like an old-fashioned city Hotel with a Showa-era vibe. It’s within walking distance of Hitachi Station, and there is plenty of parking, making it ideal as an Accommodation mainly for road trips. I didn’t expect much from the meals given the price, but they were delicious and a drink was included, so it felt like a great deal. On the second day, we were also able to visit nearby Kamine Park and the zoo, which made for a fun trip. I’d like to use it again when traveling around the Hitachi area. The Room was on an upper floor just as I had hoped.

Thank you for your hospitality. Thanks to the thoughtful care and service of all the staff, we had a very comfortable stay. Although the Facility is located on Atami’s characteristically steep slope, it is close to the station, taxis arrived quickly, and access was very convenient. The Facility itself may not be brand-new, but the Room was spacious, easy to use, and had an ocean view. The raised-floor style layout and the larger mattress bed were also very comfortable. The large public bath could accommodate about 3–4 people in the tub and around 8–10 people in the washing area; the water was great, and we appreciated the strong shower pressure. One thing we noticed was that the curtains did not block much light, so it was bright early in the morning and woke us up. In any case, we will visit again soon. Thank you.

The building reflects its age. The open-air bath is slightly small, and the high walls reduce the sense of openness. However, the meals are delicious.

I was satisfied to stay near the station at this price.

A friend had made a Reservation for a single Room, so we changed our Reservation and stayed in the twin Room instead. The Room was a Deluxe Twin—spacious, clean, and very nice. If I have the chance, I would like to stay at APA Hotel again. All the front desk staff were very kind and helpful. Thank you very much.

The guidance to the Room and the meal service were cheerful and courteous. The food was delicious, and the portions were just right.

This was my first stay at AZ. I noticed a spider in the Room and some mold on the shower curtain, but otherwise I had a comfortable stay. The staff were also very friendly.

Located along National Route 8 heading from Omihachiman toward Hikone, this Hotel offers a spacious parking lot and is convenient for guests traveling by car. Although it is on a main road, it is relatively quiet, and there are convenience stores and dining options nearby. The seafood tempura restaurant “Tsumugiya” right in front is affiliated with this Hotel and is recommended. Rooms under the Plan without bath/toilet are in a separate annex building connected to the main building; both the bedroom and bath are commensurate with the price, with nothing particularly noteworthy. This Accommodation is recommended for those looking for a reasonably priced Hotel with good convenience.

Livemax provides reliable services, making it a comfortable and worry-free stay. This time, my main purpose was to visit the Autumn Fest held at Odori Park, and the location was perfect for that. It’s a bit of a walk from Susukino or Tanukikoji, but during this season, it’s not much of an issue. In winter, however, it might require some preparation. A convenience store is also nearby. The room was clean with a spacious and comfortable bed. The room size is slightly compact, so you may need to open your suitcase on the bed. Although I didn’t use it, having a microwave in the room seemed convenient (it seems Livemax hotels generally have this feature as I noticed the same in Yokohama). The deciding factor for me was the large public bath; apparently sourced from Onsen water and very relaxing. The changing area felt slightly cramped though. As for meals—this was unexpected—but they provide an onigiri bento box in the morning. While breakfast buffets at other hotels are nice too, I found this option ideal as it’s just enough in portion size, can be enjoyed in your room at your own pace—a great idea!
