The Facility is clean and excellent. Being able to enjoy a barbecue with an ocean view is also fantastic. The value for money is outstanding. However, the number of insects is a bit concerning, and it would be greatly appreciated if there were an option to check in a little earlier.

The Hotel itself was very clean, and I felt that everything—from the appliances to the amenities—was thoughtfully provided. Above all, it was stylish and tasteful in every way. However, I rated it 4 stars because check-in took some time, the Room was a bit dark for eating meals, and the Wi‑Fi didn’t work. If I come to Mie again, I would definitely stay here!

We stayed for one night from August 8 with my children and grandchildren. The Facility and equipment were new and comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay. It also coincided with a fireworks event, which made the timing perfect. Although it was the start of the busy season and the staff seemed very busy, they responded to our inquiries promptly. As seniors, we found the digitized manual a bit difficult to use, but we managed. It was also a nice memory to have a brief exchange with a family from Germany staying in the neighboring building.

The location can be a bit tricky to find. First-time visitors might get confused using Google Maps. I ended up calling the Hotel for directions. A good landmark is the corner with a 7-Eleven, where you turn into a side street. The Hotel's location is excellent. It's slightly outside the busiest area of Gion-Shijo but still close enough to access easily. For me, it was an ideal spot with convenient access in all directions. The Facility shows slight signs of age, but the lobby beyond the front desk offers a relaxing space. I appreciated that you must pass through the front desk upon entering and that the elevator is directly in front of it—this added to my sense of security.

It was very luxurious to have the entire second floor to ourselves, but I felt the use of space was a bit wasteful. The room had the convenience of a business hotel, but with unlimited access to onsen with natural hot spring water, it could have been a luxury property with better use of space. There was supposed to be a drink service, so we didn't bring anything, but the fridge only had water as a non-alcoholic option. If I had known, I would have brought something. At least a vending machine would have been nice. They prepared plenty of bath towels for us, but since we wanted to soak in the onsen multiple times, it would have been nice to have a place in the room to hang the towels so we wouldn't have to use so many. The hot water and food were very good, so I found myself nitpicking on the finer details. That said, we were able to enjoy a luxurious time while maintaining the atmosphere of a pension or a guesthouse.

I enjoyed the view of the Tokyo Skytree from the rooftop. The staff were very attentive, making my stay comfortable and worry-free.

I stayed here on a business trip. The complimentary breakfast was more substantial than I expected, which was great (the Grab & Go option you can take back to your room is also nice). Instead of bottled water, there is a water dispenser in the hallway where you can refill your bottle, in line with recent trends. There’s no bathtub—only a shower booth—but it has three spray options (handheld, rain, and body). Once you read how to use it, it’s very user-friendly (it’s thoughtful that there’s a way to check the temperature so you don’t accidentally twist it and get blasted with cold water on your head). It’s compact but has all the essentials, so if you’re familiar with the Sapporo/Susukino area, you can stay comfortably without any issues. The staff are cheerful and friendly. (It isn’t directly connected underground, so please be careful in winter if you’re not comfortable walking on snowy/icy roads.)

The Facility is old but clean. I appreciated the thoughtful services, such as being able to borrow a shampoo I liked at the front desk and choosing an alcoholic option for the welcome drink. The free breakfast was a bit disappointing, as there wasn’t much I wanted to eat and the flavors didn’t suit my taste. That said, for this price it was more than sufficient.

This was my first time staying here. By making a Reservation more than 30 days in advance, I was able to stay at a very low price. It feels like an older Hotel, but the Room and hallways were kept very clean. My Room was on the second floor, and since it wasn’t worth taking the elevator, I wished I could have used the stairs instead (I felt bad for guests coming down from higher floors). The bidet toilet seat was also quite old. There were no tea bags or similar amenities in the Room, so I boiled water to drink; it would be nice if those were provided. The free breakfast was great for something complimentary, and the bread was delicious. I’d like to stay again if I have another opportunity.

A very warm family-run accommodation! The host, his wife, and their children were very friendly and approachable, leaving a great impression. Additionally, the bread baked by the wife was exceptional, making for a wonderfully tasteful breakfast. It was such a pleasant accommodation that I would love to stay here again if given the chance. Thank you!

I stayed at an Accommodation in Dogo Onsen. It had a calm atmosphere, and I was able to relax and take my time. What I especially appreciated was the private bath. I could enjoy the Onsen without worrying about others, and it helped soothe my travel fatigue. In addition, pleasant music from analog records played in the hallways, and the refined scent of incense drifted through the building, making the entire property a wonderfully peaceful space. This is an Accommodation where you can enjoy not only the Onsen but also the sounds and aromas—showing great attention to detail. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Dogo Onsen. Thank you very much!

We stayed during the New Year holidays and, although we didn’t have high expectations due to the reasonable price, the meals exceeded our expectations with luxurious ingredients like matsutake mushrooms, crab, and fugu. Everything was absolutely delicious. The front desk staff and serving staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bath facilities seemed a bit aged, but the showerhead appeared to be newly replaced as it worked well. The location is excellent as it’s close to Kyoto Station, making it very convenient—especially during the New Year holidays—and we felt it was worth more than what we paid. Complimentary coffee, water, and hot water are available next to the front desk. For smokers, there are chairs and an ashtray located by the entrance.

My family visiting from afar stayed at this accommodation. It is a rare and valuable place offering reasonable prices with one room per person. Although we only opted for breakfast, they were impressed by the delicious freshly cooked rice! While compact, the 24-hour flowing onsen and spacious rooms made their stay very comfortable. The presence of an elevator was also greatly appreciated by my elderly mother, who has difficulty with stairs. Thank you very much for your hospitality this time!

We checked in around 9 PM after watching the Tateshina Lake Fireworks Festival. The gracious master warmly welcomed us. Looking at the wall, there was a jazz live poster. It was a pity that we missed a major artist's live performance by just one day. It's wonderful to have such a big band come to a pension, which is quite charming given the location. We used a room for four people with just the two of us, so it was very spacious. The beds were two single-sized ones, very comfortable with excellent cushioning and performance. The bath was a unit bath like in a regular household, with water replaced for each user, and there were two of them. There was plenty of hot water, which was nice. The toilet was shared, but it had a washlet, so there was no inconvenience. For example, there was no trash can or tissue in the room, but there were high-quality paper towels in the washroom. There was also a free lounge with a refrigerator, microwave, and various tableware that could be used freely, making it a very convenient system once you got used to it. It was a cold night with temperatures dropping below 10°C, but the room heater quietly and comfortably warmed the space. Breakfast was served by the owner couple on a single plate, but the salad with plenty of local vegetables was very fresh and delicious. The bread was all-you-can-eat, so those who want to eat a lot are welcome. Considering the price, I think it's a property with excellent cost performance. Next time, I would love to stay for the live performance. I wish the owner couple continued health and success.

The Japanese-style room was relaxing and pleasant.

This is a Ryokan where you can fully enjoy a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere. Service was handled mainly by just two people: the proprietress and someone who seemed to be the manager. Aside from us as a couple, there was only one family of three, so we felt they probably accept only about four groups per day. The building is said to be nearly 100 years old, so some age is unavoidable, but the toilets had washlets and Wi‑Fi worked as well. We had no particular inconveniences. Both the kaiseki dinner and the Shokado bento breakfast were delicious, and since we had recently grown tired of large buffet halls, we were very satisfied. There are three Onsen baths including an open-air bath; we used two of them. At first the water was a bit too hot to get in right away, but we adjusted it by adding cold water. The water quality was good. It may not suit those who prioritize newness and convenience, but for those from the Showa generation it felt nostalgic and was more than satisfying as an Accommodation. We were a little worried because there are extremely few Reviews, but we’re glad we stayed here.
