At first I wondered what I’d do if I forgot my key card when going to the restroom since there isn’t one in the room, but I got used to it quickly. As you’d expect in Hokkaido, the lobby, lounge, and restaurant have high ceilings and a spacious feel that makes it seem luxurious. The half-buffet with a choice of main dish was very filling and left me completely satisfied. It’s also very convenient, with a supermarket next door and a convenience store right across the street.

I’d been interested in this Hotel for a while, and this time I was able to make a Reservation at a great price. Check-in was at a different location, which was a bit confusing at first, but the Accommodation is up a steep staircase and the staff kindly helped support my mother, who has difficulty walking—it was a huge help. The Room was also larger than a typical Business Hotel, and the Facilities were as well equipped as an ordinary home, so it felt like staying at home. I’d like to choose it again if I have the chance next time.

The exterior looked like an ordinary Ryokan, but inside, the Rooms, baths, and dining area were all very clean. The meals were delicious Nikko-style dishes, carefully presented in thoughtfully chosen tableware and handmade. It was also very close to Nikko Edo Wonderland—about a 2–3 minute drive—so it’s a recommended Ryokan for those who are not particular about Onsen. To the proprietress: the washlet in Room 205 is broken. I think it would be best to have it repaired as soon as possible.

During Golden Week in Takeo Onsen, when many visitors come to the area, I stayed one night at this impressive property at the foot of the mountains. The facilities were very clean, and the baths were excellent. The sauna seemed to be out of order, but even with just the baths I was sweating nonstop. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and I could enjoy it at a relaxed pace. It was also reassuring that the staff made frequent rounds. I would like to stay again.

I stayed in a single Room while visiting my hometown. It was quiet, and I slept well. Amenities are available at the entrance, so you can take only what you need, which kept things uncluttered. I would like to stay here again.

The staff’s hospitality was truly pleasant. It wasn’t too mechanical or overly familiar—just the right level of attentiveness. Late at night, I read manga in the lounge, and nearby a family of guests was enjoying board games, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The Room was small but very clean, including the bathroom and toilet. The larger bed was a Sealy. It felt as if it gently conformed to my body, and I personally slept very comfortably. Breakfast was an ochazuke set meal. I added toppings like sakura shrimp (I think), tororo kombu (shredded kelp), and Nozawana pickles, then poured dashi over it. Everything—from grilled fish to simmered dishes, stir-fried items, miso soup, salad, and fruit—was well balanced and delicious. Although it was cloudy/rainy throughout my stay and we even had heavy rain on the second day, I still felt great. I’d love to visit again when the weather is clear. Thank you very much.

18:00 check-in and 9:00 check-out short Plan was used. (IKYU) There is a gym, and Nijo Market is within walking distance, making it very convenient. The Room is spacious and does not have the cramped feeling of a typical Business Hotel.

Dinner was enjoyed at the neighboring Hanamusubi, and we also used their baths in the evening, including both Kin-no-Yu and Gin-no-Yu. It was delightful to experience both types of hot springs in a single visit. Since it was just a short walk from Kotori, moving to Hanamusubi's main building was not inconvenient at all. The food was very delicious. Breakfast was served at Kotori, and we also used the private bath there. Despite the rain, we had a relaxing time until departure without any inconvenience. The tofu hot pot for breakfast was excellent. We would love to visit again!

The Asama Onsen district spreads across the eastern part of Matsumoto City, climbing up the foothill slope. The Accommodation is built on the hillside, and the road in front of the entrance is only one lane wide. After leaving your luggage at the Accommodation, you move to the parking area via a narrow alley-like passage about 2 meters wide. If you have a larger car, it seems better to enter from another wider road, park there first, and then carry your luggage. This is an old Accommodation; the furniture and fittings are also old but of good quality, carefully maintained, and immaculately cleaned. The hospitality feels heartfelt; while some younger staff may seem a little awkward, they are poised and dignified. You can sense the refined quality of a prestigious Accommodation. The Room—created by combining two rooms into one—has well-chosen furniture and furnishings. It is calming and comfortable. In the in-room bath, hot natural spring water flows directly from the source; unless you truly love very hot baths, you will want to add cold water to adjust it. For smaller guests, it is deep enough to soak up to your shoulders and long enough to stretch out your legs. Opening the large window facing the garden lets in wonderfully refreshing air. The large public bath and private bath are spacious with a comfortable temperature. The lockers are solid as well. A table adapted from a lacquered low dining table is paired with chairs that are easy to sit on. The dishes brought to your Room one after another at just the right timing are genuine gourmet cuisine—anticipation and satisfaction continue throughout. Allergy accommodations and requests regarding disliked ingredients were handled perfectly. Interestingly—and elegantly—the menu does not list the head chef’s name. There is a separate bedroom with very comfortable beds. It is quiet.

This was my third stay. In the super-hot sauna for 5 minutes, the freezing cold mineral spring for 5 minutes, then a 5-minute rest. Doing this for 3–5 sets feels amazing. After that, I enjoyed a delicious dinner and slept soundly. The next morning, I had breakfast and did the sauna, mineral spring, and rest again—perfectly refreshed. It was fantastic. The Accommodation had a strong retro Showa-era vibe. Don’t forget a thick sauna hat!

It was a quiet and relaxing accommodation. The lobby and terrace were also beautiful. In most hotels, the air conditioning doesn't work well, making it too cold or too hot at night, which often disrupts sleep, but this place was very comfortable.

Wonderful for young golf lovers. About a 1.5-hour drive from Aomori Airport by rental car; there is only a short stretch of expressway, but you have to make many left and right turns. Some sections are narrow two-lane or one-lane roads, and the narrow coastal road can feel a bit scary. You can’t drive fast. The lodge and dining area are connected to the clubhouse’s large public bath (very nice; Natsudomari Onsen until 10:00 p.m.) and the main dining room, where set meals are served (Japanese-style breakfast and dinner), all delicious. The lodge rooms are spacious for four guests and come with a bathtub and shower; having two sinks is great. Very comfortable. Since it’s inside the golf course, the views are outstanding, and both the lobby atmosphere and service are excellent. The only issue is access.

I often stay here when traveling to Kyoto. This time, it was a Multiple Night Stay, and I would have appreciated replenishment of amenities. I would be happy if at least the toothbrush could be replaced with a new one. The front desk staff were very pleasant, and they were especially helpful when I parked my car in the parking lot.

With high ceilings and full-length windows, the space feels open and relaxing. It’s functional and has almost everything you need. The tasteful design made it comfortable to stay. Support via LINE was also great, with quick responses. I’d like to stay again.

We stayed for two nights at the end of February and had a relaxing time. We traveled with our elderly parents and our dog, and the Room felt very Kyoto-like—neither overly modern nor too traditional, with just the right touch of Japanese style. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a toaster, coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator, and even the cutlery was perfect. We were also grateful for the generous complimentary drinks in the fridge (beer and cola), which almost felt too much to accept. The bathtub was extra-large for a home-style tub—big enough that it felt like a family of four could all relax comfortably. It made us so happy that such a wonderful Room is dog-friendly. We would love to stay again in a different Room next time. If I could make one request: having two toilets on each floor would make it even easier for families with small children or elderly guests to stay without hesitation. Please consider this when you expand or add new dog-friendly spaces in the future.

The location was excellent, and I had a comfortable stay. The room was stylish and serene with a great sense of design. Amenities were well-prepared. Breakfast was exquisite, making for a happy start to the day. The staff's attentive service was also outstanding. This is an accommodation I would love to use again.

It was a stay for a family of four (2 adults, 2 children). The room was simple but clean, with enough space to relax comfortably. There was no bathtub, only a shower, so I rated the bathroom 4 stars, but everything else was satisfactory considering the price.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve stayed here—at least four. As the title says, it’s five seconds to the beach. The ocean view from the living room is stunning. The sea was a bit rough this time, but the contrast between the white crests and the blue-green water made it even more striking. The Southeast Asian–style interior you can see in the photos is wonderful and exceptionally clean—nothing to complain about. It’s probably among the very best vacation rentals. Personally, I was a little disappointed that the BBQ Facility I’d enjoyed up until last year is no longer available.

We stayed for one night with our child (6 years old) and relatives. The moment we entered the Room, we were surrounded by the scent of hinoki cypress and instantly felt relaxed. The amenities and Facility were all stylish, and we were able to spend our time feeling truly pampered. I usually really dislike typical Hotel pajamas (the comfort...) and hair dryers (the airflow just isn’t enough for thick hair...), but at hon, both were not only fine—they were genuinely impressive! I even checked the price of the pajamas online to buy them for home, and it made perfect sense. We were told in advance that “due to the structure, sound can carry easily,” and I did notice some noise from upstairs as I was falling asleep. That said, it’s really just luck, so if you think it might bother you, bringing earplugs could be a good idea. Overall, I felt this Accommodation is more suited for adults, but surprisingly my 6-year-old son seemed to like it the most (lol). The staff were also very pleasant, and we had a comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

We used this accommodation for the first time during our annual three-generation trip and created wonderful memories in a fantastic room! Reason for choosing this room: - The photos of the room and location on IKYU.com were very beautiful. - The reviews had high ratings. Positive points: - Access to various modern appliances. - Spacious living room and bedrooms. - Air conditioning was already on at check-in. - Clean rooms. - Abundant amenities, including beauty face masks. - Three toilets, one on each floor. - Scenic ocean view. Areas for improvement: - The shower operation and bathtub buttons were difficult to understand; having instructions or guides would be helpful, especially for elderly guests or children unfamiliar with the equipment. - The refrigerator door was hard to open, and it didn’t cool well; while other appliances were modern, the refrigerator seemed like a basic model suitable for two-person households. It couldn’t chill beer properly, so we had to use the freezer. - When using the drying mode of the washer-dryer, a maintenance sign appeared, preventing it from drying clothes properly; as we left it running overnight in drying mode while sleeping, we found wet laundry in the morning which was disappointing. Maintenance seems necessary as cleaning access is not possible for guests. Overall impression: The spacious living area allowed all nine of us to dine together at a large table comfortably! With excellent facilities overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. There was also a guest notebook where everyone shared their delightful experiences! We look forward to staying here again!
