This was my first time staying at a temple Accommodation, and it was comfortable with no inconveniences. The vegan meals were also very delicious (especially the sesame tofu). The Room was warm even in winter, and the bath warmed me up well; the changing area was warm too (I would appreciate signage for international guests asking them not to bring hair or towels into the bath). The morning service was easy to join, not too long, and never boring. Being shown the Buddha’s relics left a strong impression on me and made me feel the history. It would be even better if there were an opportunity to try zazen meditation.

We stayed for one night and two days as a family with our small dog. The Komamune accommodation offers a relaxing bedroom (grinding the provided coffee beans yourself is pure bliss!), a dining area for enjoyment (even though it rained slightly, the covered space was no issue, equipped with air conditioning and large windows offering stunning city and sky night views!), a sauna space, and separate toilet & bathroom facilities (the bath allowed for quiet relaxation without hearing family or surrounding noises. However, the dim lighting at the sink might make makeup application challenging for women). Due to allergies, we opted out of meals and rented a grill instead. The staff promptly assisted whenever contacted during its use—truly impressive service! While the microwave was located at the front desk, which made heating frozen food slightly inconvenient, any inquiries were met with immediate responses from their outstanding staff. Sitting on chairs in the garden while watching our dog explore, breathing in fresh air, reading books or enjoying drinks—it was an elegant and beautifully clean space filled with thoughtful design. This accommodation allowed each of us to spend time freely without being bound by schedules—a place where both body and mind were truly fulfilled.

The facility is well-equipped, and having a dryer was especially convenient. Detergent is also provided. I arrived by bus, and since it is located about 500m along a paved road from the Nagata terminal, it was easy to manage even with a suitcase. When I arrived early, the friendly staff with a wonderful smile kindly assisted me during the cleaning time. The area is quiet and offers a relaxing atmosphere.

The calm, sophisticated atmosphere was so stylish that it really lifted our spirits! The space was spacious, spotless, and comfortable—almost too nice for just two people. This time it was fully booked so we could only stay one night, but if we have the chance, we’d definitely love to book a Multiple Night Stay again. The kitchen is well equipped; we didn’t cook this time, but it seems perfect for preparing your own meals comfortably.

The food and the room were excellent. Also, having various conversations with the hostess made it a wonderful experience.

Close to the sea, a great place for walking your dog. This time, we stayed with our 1-year-old child. Since eating out can be challenging, we used the well-equipped facilities at Kokoyui, including a hot plate. The detailed amenities provided make it convenient for families as well. We heard that fireworks can be seen nearby in summer, so we would love to stay here again.

Snow-covered Mt. Ashibetsu right in front of you—and a vast, perfectly flat farm stretching out beyond. I was extremely satisfied with the spacious single-room, single-story layout with its wonderful view—ideal for solo travelers (and also suitable for a family trip of around six people or a stay with friends). It’s also well located for sightseeing in Furano. This is a detached house not in town, surrounded by wide farmland with no neighboring homes—perfect for those who want both privacy and easy access to Furano. This time, for the first time in decades, I enjoyed the nostalgic top bunk bed and took in the beautiful scenery while lying down. I heard the sofa can be converted into a double bed, so next time I’d love to enjoy the view from there as well. The contactless system is very convenient. If you have to worry about check-in time, your schedule before arrival becomes restricted. Here, you simply open the key locker using the PIN provided and take out the physical key. That means you can drive freely even on your arrival day. Not having to worry at all about being late due to an accident-related traffic jam is a big advantage for carefree travel. The easy-to-follow manual with color photos was also very helpful. The trash bins were separated for sorting, which made disposal easy and really appreciated. The sorting guide was clear as well, with specific examples that were useful. I would definitely like to stay again.

The interior was clean, and the atmosphere was great! There were plenty of entertainment options, so we were able to enjoy ourselves indoors all night even when it rained.

The rooms were all clean, and the futons were also spotless! The bathroom, kitchen, and toilet areas were free of mold and very comfortable. Having a shuttered garage for the car was reassuring from a security perspective. The living room, toilet, bathroom, and two bedrooms were on the second floor, with one bedroom on the first floor. Everything necessary was provided without any unnecessary items, making it safe even for families with children. There weren’t any decorative items like houseplants that could be accidentally damaged, which was helpful! Amenities such as dishes, towels, toothbrushes, coffee, etc., were available. No complaints at all—I’ll definitely use this place again when visiting Asahikawa. If I had to mention something... I would have liked a wall clock since I don’t watch TV and found it inconvenient to check the time quickly. Also, as this is a family-friendly place to stay with kids in mind—having acrylic tableware would be really helpful!

We stayed here for sightseeing in Biei, including the Blue Pond. This Accommodation uses one Room in an apartment. It is unmanned; after communicating by email, we were able to enter using a passcode. As a result, there is no staff service, but the Facility is new and the Room is spacious, so we had a comfortable stay. Considering there are no meals and no Onsen, it felt expensive, but it is very close to Biei Station, and even on Sunday night several restaurants were open nearby, so we had no trouble. We had heard that traffic jams can occur around the Blue Pond, so staying overnight was worthwhile for getting an early start in the morning.

The location is a bit hard to find, but since it’s surrounded by fields and local farmhouses, it was peaceful and relaxing. The parking space is in front of the house, but it’s narrow and felt a little intimidating to park. Inside, the house is very spacious with multiple bedrooms. The futons were about semi-double size each, and with two sets we had plenty of room for two adults and three children to sleep comfortably. There isn’t much nearby, but Asahikawa’s city center is only about 30 minutes away, so it wasn’t an issue at all. We were very satisfied.

Since you can rent the entire floor exclusively, it’s very convenient to use. The kitchen is well equipped so you can cook for yourself, though this time we mostly ate out. It was very comfortable.

We stayed with our children. The spacious living room, surrounded by precious art and collections, created an uplifting atmosphere for both kids and parents. The children enjoyed playing ball in the garden and with toys in the playroom, making it a fun stay without needing to go out. We also used the kitchen, allowing us to enjoy meals at our own pace without worrying about others. The large glass windows provided a connection to the outside, making every corner of the accommodation feel comfortable. As someone interested in home design, I was thrilled by the thoughtful and stylish interior details. The kind and friendly owner suggested places for activities, adding to our wonderful experience. It was truly wonderful. The facility was well-equipped, and cleaning was done meticulously. There were moments when the noise from neighboring or lower floors was slightly noticeable, but it seemed unavoidable. Within walking distance, there were supermarkets, bento shops, and some restaurants, so I didn't feel inconvenienced. I would love to use this place again in the future. The service was also excellent.

The accommodation was even more comfortable than I imagined from the photos. First, the room was stylish, spacious, and equipped with everything needed. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. One of my companions even said, "I can't believe they have every cooking utensil here! I wish we had booked a multiple night stay!" For me, everything seemed to feature the latest facilities, which left me amazed throughout my stay. On top of that, having a bed that is comfortable for someone with back pain was absolutely wonderful. I would love to stay here again. **Note:** The only thing I found confusing was the key app. If it doesn't work properly: - Check if you have received a spare key. - Restart the app. This worked for me—hope it helps!

I had business in Kure City, but there were no vacancies anywhere, so I stayed here for a Multiple Night Stay. I understood it was a dormitory-style accommodation, but it was beyond my expectations with mostly international guests. I also knew it was mixed-gender Rooms, but the ratio seemed to have more women, which made me feel a bit apologetic. If I were younger, I might have enjoyed some international exchange as well.

I stayed in a room with a double bed. It was very spacious! The TV was large, and I enjoyed watching Netflix. The room had a washer with a dryer, which was very convenient. For Multiple Night Stays, it seems cleaning is not provided, so guests need to take care of trash disposal and bath towels themselves.

The hostess and her daughter were very friendly, and it was a relaxing Accommodation. The Onsen was also free-flowing, and the open-air bath was wonderful. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

This was our first trip to Hakuba with my daughter, and we were very satisfied with this accommodation. With only four rooms, each uniquely designed, we chose the "Condo" room this time. The room featured beautiful interior design, offering a luxurious and private experience. My daughter was delighted as well. For us, the enjoyment of a trip heavily depends on the accommodation's room and meals, and Kunugi exceeded all expectations with its hospitality and cleanliness. One of the highlights was the bath facilities—three options including indoor baths and an outdoor Asian-style bath that required a reservation. The outdoor bath had a tropical resort vibe where we could relax while enjoying views of the garden. It was so pleasant that I ended up using it twice—once in the evening and again in the morning. Dinner consisted of a full-course menu featuring fish and meat dishes that were casual yet delicious. The French toast served at breakfast was also excellent, which made my daughter very happy once again. Having stayed at many hotels or ryokans before, I believe accommodations like Kunugi—with its originality and exceptional hospitality—are rare to find. While winter is likely their peak season due to increased demand, visiting during off-season periods like now through autumn offers more reasonable rates. Summer in Hakuba feels like experiencing Japan’s traditional landscapes—a truly unique region worth visiting. We will definitely return for another stay! The owner was incredibly kind—a wonderful host—and even provided shuttle service for us. Thank you so much for making this summer trip such an unforgettable experience!
