The room was spacious, and having two free-flowing hot spring baths made for a truly luxurious stay. The amenities were well stocked, which I think many women will appreciate. We also enjoyed using the massage chair and were able to fully relax. This is an accommodation we would love to visit again.

It was my first stay in two months. Everything was clean, and I had a comfortable stay. The Room mirror had been changed to a different one than before, and it was very convenient for doing my makeup. Also, the gentleman at the front desk greeted me with a wonderful smile, which made me feel welcome. I’m planning to visit again in autumn.

The meals are very healthy, using locally sourced ingredients. However, many dishes require guests to cook for themselves, such as shabu-shabu and kushikatsu, and they also feel like dishes that even we homemakers could make. In other words, it seemed there were few dishes with a creative twist. Using freshly harvested vegetables and eggs, I would like the head chef to offer more elaborate dishes. The Room and bath were wonderful, and we were able to relax while fully enjoying nature. This time, when we asked, additional towels were brought free of charge; however, since we bathe in the Onsen multiple times, we would be happy if two towels per person could be provided from the start. Thank you very much.

I stayed here for a one-night trip home. 　Since it only opened in August, it’s no surprise that the facilities and rooms are spotless, but I can’t remember the last time I was able to relax this much at a city hotel. My family also said things like “I don’t want to go home yet” and “If we can stay in a room like this for this price, this can be our regular hotel,” so having a raised area where you can take off your shoes and unwind really makes a difference. 　The bathroom was spacious and relaxing, and breakfast was great too—I enjoyed being able to sample lots of different dishes in small bowls. It would be even more convenient if there were water dispensers and ice machines on higher floors as well. 　I have almost no complaints, but if I had to mention one, it’s that there aren’t many rooms like this, so they’re often fully booked. If more rooms with the raised shoe-free area could be added (though renovations may be difficult since it just opened), I think it would become an even more satisfying hotel for both business and leisure travelers. Also, the price differences depending on timing and dates can be quite large. This time, though, I was very satisfied to be able to relax in this room at this price. It’s likely to become my top choice as a regular place to stay when visiting home again. 　Thank you very much.

We stayed here as a couple to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. For us, having held our wedding reception here 30 years ago, the Imperial Hotel is a special place that has quietly witnessed the most important milestones of our lives. This time we stayed in the Tower Wing, and the view from our room was truly breathtaking. Simply spending time looking out over Tokyo felt wonderfully luxurious. What made us happiest most of all was that our room had been discreetly upgraded. We were deeply touched by this thoughtful gesture and felt the warmth that is so characteristic of the Imperial Hotel. We also visited the Old Imperial Bar in the evening, and it was absolutely wonderful. Enjoying drinks in a space filled with history made us feel as though we were savoring the very time and tradition the hotel has cherished. In the morning, we had breakfast at Les Saisons. Not only was each dish beautifully prepared with great care, but enjoying breakfast in such a calm setting was exceptional—a truly happy moment that let us slowly look back on these past 30 years together. During our stay, we were also able to see the banquet hall where we held our reception 30 years ago. To return to this same hotel 30 years later—standing there again and saying to each other, “A lot happened, but we were happy”—was more than enough to fill our hearts. Even after three decades, the Imperial Hotel remains unchanged in its presence, once again watching over another milestone in our lives. We were moved not only by the outstanding service and cuisine, but also by its accumulated history and genuine warmth toward people. We are truly glad we chose to stay here on such a special anniversary. We would love to return again for future milestones in life. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

I love this club lounge. No matter what time I visit, the food and drinks are always replenished and neatly arranged. The seating is well spaced, so it’s very comfortable. There are no loud guests, and even families with children are considerate of the time and those around them, so I can relax in peace. Above all, the staff’s professional service is outstanding. One of the experienced gentlemen even made cocktails for me. The Room was impeccably cleaned, and I was able to spend a quiet, relaxing time. I’m always impressed by how courteous the Room staff are on the phone. More Hotels have switched to self-service ice these days, but here a Hotel staff member in a crisp uniform delivers it on a tray with a silver ice bucket—just that alone feels wonderful. Since I need to take medication, having extra mineral water was also very helpful. I also accidentally dropped my hair treatment bottle and broke it, but they kindly replaced it for me. I’m sorry for the trouble during these times of limited supplies. I also appreciated being able to change my newspaper. Thank you for all your thoughtful care. I look forward to staying with you again.

We stayed here to celebrate my wife’s and our 1-year-old son’s birthdays, and we had a very comfortable stay. The Junior Suite we stayed in had a daybed, and the bedroom and living room could be separated by sliding doors, which made it ideal for staying with a 1-year-old child. It was also very helpful that we could leave our stroller in the entryway, and they offered rentals such as a baby crib, bed guard, diaper disposal bin, and bottle sterilizer. The jacuzzi on the balcony felt private and was something our family could enjoy together, and we were also happy to have Orion beer and sanpin tea replenished every day. All of the staff were polite and warm, which made it easy to ask for various requests. As for dining, we tried both the Japanese set breakfast and the buffet; there was a wide variety of options and we enjoyed them. Above all, the all-you-can-drink champagne was amazing. The champagne was such high quality that I wondered if it was really okay to offer it unlimited—and I ended up drinking too much in the morning. For dinner as well, we had steak at one of the on-site restaurants and also visited a soba restaurant and an izakaya within the resort; everything was delicious. We would love to stay here again when we visit Miyakojima next year.

All staff are kind and welcoming, and the “welcome home” atmosphere feels wonderfully comforting. Dinner and breakfast are both delicious. You can fully enjoy the luxury of having the view from the open-air bath in your Room all to yourself. I would love to visit again.

This was my first stay here. I had dinner at the restaurant on the first floor. The Yamayuri pork was tender and delicious, and everything else—like the rosemary-scented potatoes and the fresh fish carpaccio—was excellent as well. All of the staff were smiling, pleasant, and courteous, so I had a truly enjoyable time. They had heard from the front desk that it was my husband’s birthday, and I was happy they wrote a congratulatory message on the dessert plate. In the morning, we chose the bento-style breakfast on the 12th floor and were very satisfied. The fresh juice was delicious, and having breakfast while looking out at Yamashita Park and the Bay Bridge right in front of us was wonderful. The room also had chic interior decor that felt very relaxing. The TV was impressively large, which made it even more enjoyable. I’d like to come back from time to time to enjoy a special getaway.

The Room had a beautiful Tokyo Skytree view. The bathroom was separate from the toilet, so I could relax comfortably. Breakfast was delicious, especially the orange juice and omelet. Still, I was surprised that there were so many foreign guests.

We stayed one night in the Roman-style room. The room was spacious and very clean, and we were able to relax completely. The large public bath was also spacious. Having an open-air bath in the room was truly the best—I ended up soaking in it again and again. Every dish we tried was delicious, especially the simmered golden eye snapper and the fried chicken. All of the staff were very courteous. My husband surprised me with a spa treatment. Since I didn’t know in advance, I’m embarrassed to say my heels were quite rough, but a staff member noticed and kindly provided a thorough foot pack as well. It helped relieve all my fatigue, and we had a wonderful time. It seems there is also a pool, so next time I’d like to bring our grandchildren and visit again.

I stay here for about three nights around the same time every year, and the Hotel’s sincere hospitality never changes. They respond quickly even to minor issues, and their courteous service remains a consistent highlight. The well-rounded breakfast is another constant, as is the afternoon drink service—I'm impressed that they maintain such a high level of hospitality. I sometimes read Reviews of other hotels saying, “It wasn’t like this before,” but this Hotel never leaves me with that kind of disappointment. Overall, you can really feel the quality of this Hotel. It has everything that makes me want to choose it again for my next stay in Kobe.

We stayed here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. After letting the hotel know in advance, everyone was so kind, and they even prepared a celebratory card in our room. I was truly happy, and it became a wonderful birthday memory. The room was very clean, and above all, the runway view was amazing. My husband, who loves airplanes, of course enjoyed it, but I also loved spending relaxing time in the room watching planes. Being able to calmly watch aircraft take off and land from so close felt like a real luxury. The bathroom facilities were also easy to use, and having the sink area, toilet, and bath all separated was very comfortable. As I am pregnant, it made the stay especially easy for me as well, and I could rest properly at the hotel. The amenities were well stocked, and I was glad they provided bath salts. The separate pajama set was also convenient, and we could really feel the thoughtful touches that made everything comfortable. The entire hotel was quiet, so we slept well at night. Breakfast had a great variety and tasted delicious—especially fun was being able to make our own zenzai using Eitaro sweet red bean paste. It added a little special feeling to the morning. I think this is a great hotel not only for an overnight stay before or after using Haneda Airport or for aviation fans, but also for anyone who isn’t particularly knowledgeable about planes yet would enjoy relaxing while looking out over the runway. I’m truly glad we chose this hotel for such an important day—my husband’s birthday. Thanks to their warm hospitality, it became a wonderful stay. We would definitely love to visit again.

This was our fifth stay at UMI, and this time my spouse and I were able to relax and enjoy some delicious drinks on our own, without our children, who are now in their third year of working. Thank you for the towel with the Kaze no Kaori logo to commemorate our fifth visit. The dried horse mackerel for breakfast was as delicious as always, so we bought five to take home. Our children also said they would like to visit UMI again, so we plan to return next March as a family of four. We look forward to seeing all the staff again.

I gifted my mother a stay here for her 75th birthday. She’s a real foodie who’s always trying restaurants, and she came home excited, saying, “The restaurant was simply amazing!” and “Dinner was especially outstanding!” They even celebrated with a dessert plate, and I’m truly grateful to all the staff. She also thoroughly enjoyed the snacks placed around the property and the great variety of books—making it the perfect celebration. This isn’t the kind of place that serves flashy dishes or relies on lavish luxury ingredients, so I hesitated a bit about giving it to my elderly mother—but it turned out to be exactly right for her! She said, “I was tired of the typical meals you find everywhere, so this was really wonderful,” “I hope more people learn how special it is,” and “It makes total sense that there are many international guests. It’s a truly rare restaurant where you can genuinely experience Japanese culture.” Looks like my choice as her daughter was spot on (lol). *On the other hand, if it’s not your style, it really won’t be—so please keep that in mind if you’re giving this as a gift!!!

I loved everything—the location of the Accommodation, the beautiful and calming interior, the spacious and impeccably clean Room with a semi-open-air bath, and the lush Japanese-style garden full of greenery. We chose the “Izu Seasonal Kaiseki” Plan, and both dinner and breakfast were outstanding in quality and generous in portion size. The free-flowing Onsen water could be enjoyed at our leisure in the private open-air bath, the large public bath, and in our Room. The Onsen water—said to be 120°C just five minutes earlier—was carefully temperature-controlled so it reached the tub at a perfect temperature: neither too hot nor too lukewarm. I also appreciated the thoughtful services such as matcha tea and traditional sweets at check-in, a pot of iced water delivered to the Room during dinner, and sherbet or coffee served in the lobby after bathing—but above all, what impressed me most was the attentive hospitality of every staff member. With unstable weather and days of rain leading up to our stay—and rain forecast for our dates—I was worried at first. Fortunately, we had good weather for both days we were there, and staying at such a wonderful Accommodation with such high service standards made this trip truly relaxing. Thank you very much. Of course I would love to return here again, and I also feel like visiting “Izu Kawazu-hama Isoaruki no Yuyado Shiogumo” and “Omuro no Mori Gyokusui.”

I have stayed with the Hotel Mets brand several times, but this was my first time in Omori. Thanks to your efforts to accommodate my Room assignment request as much as possible before check-in, I had a comfortable stay. The front desk staff also kindly supported me during the check-in process, so everything went smoothly without any major issues. The Room cleanliness and Facilities were what I have come to expect from Mets, and overall I was satisfied. In particular, I needed to use the internet in my Room for an online interview this time, and it worked without any problems. However, I felt the carpet design in the guest Room was a bit busy, and I would have preferred calmer colors and a simpler design. For foreign tourists like me, the Omori area feels a little far out, but since I was satisfied overall, I would consider staying here first if I have another chance to visit Tokyo.

This Hotel made our stay in Shiretoko even more special. This time, we were kindly upgraded to a better Room, and we were truly moved by the unexpected thoughtfulness. The guest Room was spacious and comfortable, with a calm atmosphere that let us fully enjoy our time away. What left the strongest impression was the large public bath. It was roomy and very clean, and soaking at a relaxed pace was the perfect way to ease away the day’s fatigue. All of the staff were consistently kind, attentive, and professional while maintaining just the right sense of distance, which allowed us to feel at ease throughout our stay. The entire Accommodation had a serene ambiance, and we felt it enriched our time in Shiretoko even more. This is a Hotel we would definitely like to return to when we visit Shiretoko again. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

During our trip to explore Kumano, we stayed at Aoki Shima no Yado Kumano Bettei Nakanoshima. What impressed us first was how smoothly everything was handled from the moment we arrived. At the parking area by the port waiting lounge, we simply gave our name and a staff member guided our car for us, and we were able to complete check-in right there in the lounge. The sea viewed from the port was exactly as the inn’s name suggests—truly an “azure sea.” We were moved by its beauty as soon as we arrived. As explained in advance, it takes about five minutes to reach the property by private boat from the port. Even this short boat ride felt like a special touch that made it wonderfully out of the ordinary. Throughout our stay, what stood out most was the high level of hospitality from all staff members. Everyone seemed well trained, and their service was both polite and naturally warm. With the Kumano Kodo registered as a World Heritage site, it seems visitors come from all over the world, and it was impressive to see how confidently and appropriately they assisted international guests as well. What I had been looking forward to most on this trip was the open-air bath. Just as rumored, it’s an incredibly open and relaxing rotenburo with sweeping ocean views right in front of you. From 3:00 p.m., we took our time enjoying the hot springs while listening to the sound of waves—an indulgent experience indeed. Since the men’s and women’s baths alternate daily, we also enjoyed the other open-air bath starting at 6:00 a.m. The hot spring in crisp morning air felt especially refreshing. The meals were also excellent—many delicious dishes making great use of local ingredients—allowing us to fully enjoy flavors unique to Kumano. The staff member assigned to our table provided attentive service throughout, so we could relax and enjoy every moment of dinner. It takes about five hours by car from our home, so it isn’t easy for us to visit often—but even so, this is a wonderful place where we would love to stay again. This trip combined sightseeing at Seiganto-ji Temple, shrines in Kumano, Nachi Falls, and our stay on Nakanoshima into one truly memorable journey. We are grateful for the beautiful sea views, outstanding open-air baths, delicious cuisine—and above all—for everyone’s heartfelt hospitality. If you’re considering a trip to the Kumano area, I highly recommend this property.
