As soon as you step into the lobby, a Nebuta display welcomes you overhead. The staff at both the front desk and the restaurant were kind and helpful, making my first stay here smooth and enjoyable. I will visit again in August and November.

This time we stayed at Willport, close to the pool. Dinner included a main dish of grilled tuna poke, fried chicken & fries, and desserts such as acai bowls and fruit. Soft drinks and the salad bar are included; alcohol is available for an additional order. Breakfast was also more than we could finish—plenty even for an adult man. You can also watch hula during dinner. The room was spacious enough for a family of four. This time it was just the two of us; my husband would have preferred a bed, but we slept well on futons. We also enjoyed the hot springs and the lazy river pool. The poolside burger was delicious—tasted like 100% beef! We wondered how it would be with a wheelchair, but there were elevators and we were able to get around by taking a longer route. On the second day it was rainy and windy due to a typhoon, but since everything is indoors it didn’t affect us at all. From late October to around November should be peak autumn foliage season—sounds wonderful. We also bought macadamia nut chocolates and had a great time overall. It’s nearby for us, so we’d love to come again. The staff were kind as well. P.S. They also provided kids’ body soap, shampoo & conditioner in the room.

I had a comfortable stay from check-in to check-out. The Room (single room) was clean. I was also able to relax in the shared cafe area. Everyone working at the Hotel was kind and courteous, so I felt at ease throughout my stay. On my way out, I met one of the housekeeping staff members, who saw me off with a smile—another happy memory added. I would be glad to stay again in the future.

This was my first stay in Oku-Biwako. I was looking for a relaxing getaway close to Osaka and found this inn. The scenery of Oku-Biwako, which I was seeing for the first time, was truly soothing. Every dish was delicious, and I also enjoyed the beautiful tableware. I asked in advance whether ayu (sweetfish) would be included in the meal and was told it wouldn’t be available, but on the day they kindly changed part of the menu to grilled salted ayu, so I was able to enjoy it during my stay. The large public bath had clean face towels provided, so there was no need to worry about towels. From parking guidance to the dining staff, everyone worked efficiently and left a great impression. I’d love to visit again in another season to enjoy more great food.

If you’re craving delicious fish, this is highly recommended! You can enjoy truly tasty fish until you’re completely satisfied. Of course, the Room is also comfortable, and it’s a nice bonus to have a view of Mt. Fuji! The horse mackerel at breakfast was so good that I bought some to take home on the way back. A wonderful Accommodation.

The staff provide courteous and kind service. The bath and in-room amenities are well stocked. As it was midwinter, a warming gel pack had been placed inside the bedding, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of a cozy, warm futon. The Room air conditioner kept us plenty warm, and a fan heater was also provided as a backup to further heat the room if needed. The meals were excellent in both taste and portion size. We were able to fully enjoy spiny lobster until we were completely satisfied. Overall, it is a wonderful Accommodation with an elegant atmosphere.

We chose this Room for our daughter and son-in-law and our 5-month-old grandchild. The baby bath, diaper disposal bin, and even a baby crib in the restaurant were very helpful. Thank you for your thoughtful care. The Onsen water was slightly greenish and pleasantly silky. Since day-use guests are also accepted, you may need to plan your time for the large public bath, but early in the morning it felt like we had it all to ourselves. We would like to visit again.

Even during the Obon season, we were able to stay at an affordable price regardless of booking last-minute, and the Room was spacious and clean. We also enjoyed drinks in the lounge, which was great. It is a very convenient Hotel close to the station, with easy access to both JR and the subway. I would like to stay again next time.

It is in a very convenient location near the Transportation Center. The surrounding area is a downtown entertainment district, which makes it convenient for going out for drinks, but at night it can feel quite crowded and chaotic. Women in particular may want to be cautious. As for the Hotel’s Facility, the Room is slightly spacious. The bathroom is separate from the toilet and also has a washing area, which was comfortable. However, I was a bit bothered by white limescale marks left on the black floor. Since it’s an entertainment district, I was slightly worried it might be noisy, but at least in the Room I stayed in, that wasn’t an issue. Also, having a 24-hour convenience store on the first floor is extremely convenient. Overall, I think my satisfaction level was high.

Because they cannot accommodate a large number of guests, they provided attentive service to each party. There were also guests who came just for meals, so they were busy, but it never felt hectic—truly a wonderful Accommodation. Every dish was delicious, but the portions were more than someone in their 50s could finish, so we left some. It’s best to arrive hungry.

We found this Hotel while looking for a pet-friendly place to stay near Okayama. After driving up a mountain road that felt a bit unsettling, we arrived at a Hotel with truly wonderful views. The meals were elegant and delicious. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t see the stars, but we had a sweeping view of the Seto Inland Sea and watching the sunrise was amazing.

A place I’d been wanting to visit for a long time. Our room was upgraded, and we were shown to a Japanese-style room with an adjoining sitting room—and that extra room was wonderful. My husband and I are both self-employed, so we work even while traveling. Having a separate space where we could set up a laptop and get things done was incredibly helpful; it’s often just a sofa, but this time my husband basically took over the adjoining room as his workspace. We were also shown a Western-style room, but we chose the Japanese-style one. The view felt more open from the Japanese-style room, and I was also a bit concerned that in the Western-style bedroom you could see into the open-air bath through glass. If I had been traveling alone, I think I would have chosen the Western-style room. When staying at an onsen ryokan, we bathe multiple times a day—so if you lower the roller screen you lose that sense of openness in the room, but having everything fully visible also felt uncomfortable. The pantry—something I haven’t seen at other accommodations—was extremely convenient. We like to tuck away empty bottles and used glasses, so being able to quickly rinse them at the pantry sink and leave them there kept the main room neat. As for the bath water: since we had stayed in Noboribetsu Onsen the night before, it initially felt a little mild by comparison. But little by little I came to love it—the water had a lovely woody scent. It feels light on the skin yet leaves it smooth. The bathroom amenities (shampoo etc.) were also excellent. My skin is often sensitive so I usually bring my own products, but these were comfortable for me to use. If anything, I would have liked to have had a bathrobe—though perhaps I simply missed it. The meals let us enjoy truly high-quality ingredients prepared deliciously. Nothing felt overdone; while it was slightly more than we usually eat, I think most guests would find it just right. There were many kinds of Hokkaido-specific ingredients as well as items we don’t normally get to try—very satisfying overall. All of the interior design throughout the property felt comfortable; even back in our own room there was an ease that somehow made us feel at home. The view through the windows was calming and refreshing as well. Most of all, every staff member was wonderful—warm and attentive while maintaining just the right amount of distance. It seemed occupancy wasn’t very high that day, which made our stay feel even more relaxed and enjoyable from start to finish. The birthday cake was delicious too. We will be back again.

I stayed at “Suzuya” at HOTEL KOU Otsu Hyakucho. It is located in Otsu’s traditional shopping arcade, and the room is a renovated space that used to be a shop. The renovation was beautifully done, and the facilities—such as the kitchenette, washbasin area, and bathroom—were all new. Although compact, everything was easy to use and very comfortable. I also loved the interior design featuring classic Scandinavian furniture. I joined the free guided tour of the shopping arcade as well. The guide introduced us to various well-known local shops, and I enjoyed shopping at a tea shop, a Japanese sweets shop, a butcher, and a pickle shop. For dinner, I bought small portions of roast beef, croquettes, pickles, deli items, and rice balls from the arcade and enjoyed them in my room with a half bottle of Shiga wine provided as a Diamond member benefit. Breakfast was served at the main building “Omiya,” where I had eel chazuke (tea poured over rice). It was delicious. The lounge’s complimentary drinks and sweets were also great. In terms of facilities and convenience alone, a modern business hotel might feel more comfortable in some ways. However, staying right in the shopping arcade and visiting local stores made Otsu feel much more familiar and close to me. It was a unique stay compared to an ordinary hotel experience—and it became a wonderful travel memory.

The other day, my daughter and I stayed for one night on a short trip. Thank you for upgrading our room; we had a very comfortable stay. We enjoyed breakfast only. The dining area was divided into private sections, so we could relax and talk while eating. Everything was carefully prepared, fresh, and truly delicious. Although the staff member who explained the dishes was not Japanese, they spoke clear Japanese and were very pleasant. Thank you very much. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Thank you for your hospitality the other day. Your attentive service was outstanding, and we were completely satisfied in every way. This is an Accommodation we would love to stay at again. The in-room Onsen was also excellent.

We stayed as a family of three. The Onsen was wonderful—smooth and silky, a truly great Onsen. The meals were also excellent. We chose the course with sukiyaki. Everything—sukiyaki, sashimi, tempura, miso-grilled chicken, and more—was carefully prepared and delicious. Breakfast was served in a different dining area filled with morning sunlight, and it was just as tasty. The building was very clean, the Room was spacious and spotless, hot water and cold water were provided, and the futon was very comfortable. Everyone at the Accommodation was kind and attentive, so we had a great time. It’s an Accommodation we would definitely like to stay at again.

The bath was very relaxing. The view was great. The food was also delicious. I had imagined traditional ryokan-style Japanese meals, but instead we enjoyed a delicious course-style dinner.

Both dinner and breakfast were excellent! Dinner was a set course meal, and everything tasted amazing. We were completely full. It was a refined, adult-style menu, but my daughter also found it delicious and ate everything. It was truly wonderful.

I never expected to find a sauna of this quality on Miyakojima. The owner must be a true sauna enthusiast. Everything, including the Room layout and flow, is designed to satisfy sauna lovers, and the settings were already prepared upon arrival so we could start enjoying the sauna right away. Fragrances are placed throughout the Room, and while there isn’t an outdoor relaxation area, the indoor environment is more than enough to fully unwind (setting the Dyson fan to level 2–3 makes it exceptionally relaxing). The amenities were all exactly to my taste, and it was a thoroughly satisfying stay. A must-see villa for sauna lovers.

I stayed here for two days while attending an event in Mitoyo. The location was close and convenient. There was a convenience store nearby, and the free, spacious ground-level parking lot was a big plus. I like Route Inn because you can enjoy a large public bath. Breakfast was also very tasty and satisfying. I would stay here again.
