There are large TVs in both the bedroom and the living room, and my mother was thrilled to be able to watch the Asian Games!! We were truly impressed by how thoughtfully everything was arranged—down to the TV placement and easy-to-use amenities—as if our movements had been anticipated in advance. After a 4-hour journey, staying at this Accommodation made all our fatigue disappear! Breakfast was also amazing—they cooked tamagoyaki fresh on the spot, and it was incredibly delicious. The bath was great too, so we slept soundly that night. We’ll be back.

On this occasion, in Yufuin, we are pleased to introduce a wonderful Accommodation where you can gracefully relax and rejuvenate both body and mind.

We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of four nights. Above all, this Accommodation is truly pet-friendly. We visited with both a dog and a cat, and they both seemed relaxed and happy. There were plenty of amenities for dogs and cats, plus facilities such as a dog run. We could stay with peace of mind, and all the staff clearly love animals, which made our time here even more special. The Japanese staff were wonderful as expected, and the international staff were also incredibly polite—so much so that we initially thought they were Japanese—always with warm smiles. It gave us the sense that the training and working environment here must be excellent. The staff deserve more than five stars. Meals are à la carte, so you can choose whatever you like each day in any amount you want. This was especially appreciated during our Multiple Night Stay, and everything was consistently above average in taste. They offer a great balance of both Japanese and Western dishes, so we never got bored. Every day was delicious. Alcohol at night at the bar, as well as drinks in the Room refrigerator, are included, which is very reassuring for those who enjoy drinking. In addition, 30 minutes of spa treatment per day was included; I even received a massage and felt truly healed. The Room was neither too large nor too small—just right for two people—and it was well designed and easy to use. The hot spring water left our skin smooth and glossy; it was excellent. Both the indoor bath and open-air bath are fed directly from the source (free-flowing), and we could adjust both volume and temperature using only the natural spring water. It’s pure luxury. These days many Hotels or Ryokan only allow smoking in designated areas, so being able to smoke on our private terrace attached to the Room is something smokers will really appreciate, especially if you want to have a drink on the terrace while enjoying a cigarette. Because the terrace is surrounded by high walls, our cat could also go for walks there safely. Cats tend to run off easily, so it’s rare to let them stroll freely—this was another great point. Our cat looked completely at ease. It was our first time visiting Kikuchi City. There are many wonderful places nearby including Kikuchi Gorge, and Aso is less than an hour away by car, making sightseeing very convenient. Since there is a university stable near this Accommodation, there may occasionally be a slight animal smell, but that isn’t an issue caused by this Accommodation itself. And since this is an Accommodation that pet lovers choose specifically because they travel with animals, I think it’s simply something not to worry about (it didn’t bother me). This is a fantastic Accommodation where you can truly relax with your pets. Thank you very much.

Located roughly across the river from the Nagatoro Iwadatami (not within walking distance). This is a small, well-serviced Hotel surrounded by quiet woods with an atmosphere reminiscent of Karuizawa; though compact, it is well equipped and stocked with amenities. Dinner and breakfast are Japanese-style creative full-course meals, better suited to adults. Some Rooms feature private open-air baths, and there are also free private reservable baths, making it a good choice for guests who value privacy. The building is old, but filled with tasteful furnishings that create a charming ambiance. With only a few Rooms, the staff can provide attentive service to each party. Nights are very quiet, accompanied by the sounds of insects. There are two EV chargers (6 kW TerraCharge) in the guest-only parking area; if you drive an electric vehicle, it’s best to let them know in advance.

I’ve stayed here several times, and the 1st Cottage is always amazing no matter when I visit. The weather wasn’t great this time, but I relaxed indoors with my dogs while enjoying delicious meals. The cottage’s interior is wonderful, so staying in is part of the fun. I’d love to come back once more before the end of the year—looking forward to the seasonal dishes.

It was a wonderful place with no boundaries between people and dogs, and my wife, our dog, and I all had an incredibly satisfying day. The joy of being able to run freely anywhere on the vast grounds, along with an environment that truly removes the distance between people and their dogs, is simply ideal. We were filled with a deep sense of happiness—almost as if we were getting a head start on experiencing our “ideal lifestyle.” We’ve become huge fans of VILLA SEDONA!, and we would love to make it an annual tradition for our family to return every year. Next time, we plan to stay for multiple nights at a more relaxed pace. I chose this hotel because I was drawn to its concept of embracing the whole town. By making great use of the compact townscape, it offers a stay you can’t experience anywhere else, which truly impressed me. The staff member who guided us around the parking area and facilities after check-in was genuinely warm and welcoming, making us feel very comfortable. I stayed here on a solo trip. The room was clean and spacious, and I was able to relax comfortably. The amenities included face masks and socks for the room. Since I don’t drink alcohol, they replaced the alcoholic drinks in the fridge with non-alcoholic options. Dinner was plentiful and delicious—I was very satisfied. Great value for money with excellent service, and I’d love to stay again. Thank you!

I have stayed here several times, and once again I had a wonderful experience. The room, service, and meals were all excellent. This was my first time staying in a room overlooking the Marunouchi Plaza, and I enjoyed a breathtaking view that was different from the Dome side. Each stay brings new discoveries, while the core service and hospitality remain consistently outstanding, which is always so relaxing. It’s the kind of hotel you’ll want to return to again and again after staying once.

The view from the room is simply spectacular! Suruga Bay, Mt. Fuji, and the night scenery are all breathtaking. I turned off the lights in the room and fully enjoyed the night view. The French dinner was outstanding—every dish was exquisite. Even though I was traveling solo, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. For breakfast, I had a Japanese set meal, which was also excellent. A perfect stay with nothing to complain about—I’d love to come back again.

Even on a rainy day, I was able to arrive without getting wet at all from Sakuragicho Station’s South New Ticket Gate. I had booked two rooms for one person and was a bit confused at check-in, but the staff helped me right away and the process went smoothly. There’s also a Seijo Ishii supermarket on the first floor, which made it incredibly convenient to pick up delicious drinks and snacks for an evening nightcap. Of course, the room was clean as well, and I appreciated the comfortable hospitality that was eco-conscious without being excessive.

It was my first stay in a while, and this time I booked a Multiple Night Stay. The Grace Suite Room was wonderful—spacious and comfortable. There were some issues at check-in with how our luggage was handled, but overall we were very satisfied. We also enjoyed dinner again at the teppanyaki restaurant “Shin,” where the chef who has been taking care of us for nearly 10 years made it a truly enjoyable evening. When we come to Kobe, we will stay with you again. Thank you to all the staff.

This was my first stay. All staff members welcomed me with a smile. The entire Accommodation was spotless, and the meals and service were excellent—everything was very satisfying. I’m tired from work every day, but this Accommodation was soothing, with greenery visible from the window, the gentle murmur of the Sai River, and the sounds of insects. Thank you very much.

We stayed here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. As soon as we drove up to the entrance, the staff—already waiting—welcomed us with amazingly smooth, attentive service. I was nervous in an unfamiliar place, but before I knew it I was in the lobby with Bach playing softly, looking out at the sea and enjoying a chilled glass of champagne, my excitement building. The space was spotless and warmly appointed, and the selection of sweets, drinks, and amenities showed impeccable taste. The toothbrush was the most comfortable I’ve ever used. Above all, the bath was outstanding. With the window open, listening to birdsong and gazing at the ocean—and because it’s free-flowing—I even tried skipping a rinse-off and body cream afterward, yet my skin stayed moisturized without drying out! At dusk, the view from the lounge was beautiful. The British ginger lemonade was delicious, and we’re especially grateful to the elegant and attentive female staff member who made the lounge so wonderfully comfortable—thank you as well for preparing an orange liqueur for us at the end. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent; not only did everything taste wonderful, but the ingredients and presentation were beautiful too. That said, I couldn’t stop eating bread and butter and ended up too full by the time we reached the main course! Even so, it was cooked perfectly and tasted superb—I finished it all. Next time I’ll pace myself so I can fully enjoy everything through to the main dish. The young service staff were also highly professional and impressive. Even without mentioning that it was an anniversary—and even as first-time guests simply dropping by—we received consistently thoughtful hospitality throughout. Thank you very much.

On a whim, we decided to take a refreshing getaway and made a same-day Reservation at Nampuro, which we’d been curious about for some time. It was our first trip in a while, and while we were excited, we tried not to set our expectations too high when we checked in—but the moment we stepped inside, our excitement just kept growing! We stayed in Grand Oceans, and from the instant we got off the elevator—seeing the wide selection of drinks and light snacks—and walked down the beautifully atmospheric hallway, then opened the door to our room… everything was amazing. One “This is incredible!” after another. A bath with an ocean view, delicious meals, relaxing in the room with drinks—it was exactly the refreshing trip we had been looking for. Since it was raining, it wasn’t quite a breathtaking view this time, but we found ourselves saying, “Next time let’s come when it’s sunny,” and ended up promising each other another stay! Thank you for such a wonderful time. We’ll be back!!

After something great happened at work, I wanted to celebrate by relaxing on my own at an Accommodation with a view of Mt. Fuji, so I decided to stay solo. The staff assigned to my Room took wonderful care of me throughout my stay, the food was delicious, and I was able to spend a truly relaxing time. Mt. Fuji can be unpredictable and I could only see it in the early morning, but it was so beautiful that waking up at 5 a.m. didn’t feel like a burden at all. When I consulted in advance about wanting to celebrate and have cake, they arranged one from a nearby cake shop, and I was able to enjoy it in my Room together with champagne as a welcome drink. The head chef was also very thoughtful, which made me very happy. Adjusting the temperature of the Onsen in the Room was a bit tricky, but other than that there were no issues and I was completely satisfied. You can clearly see Mt. Fuji even from the Room—this Accommodation’s location is truly incredible.

The Room was very clean, and I was able to stay comfortable throughout my entire visit. What I especially loved were the infinity pool and the sauna. With only seven Rooms available per day, it never felt crowded, and I could relax and enjoy them at a leisurely pace. The views were stunning, and you can truly experience an extraordinary escape from everyday life. The staff’s hospitality was also excellent, making my stay very pleasant. Breakfast was delicious, and the bar had a wonderful atmosphere as well. Being able to enjoy drinks slowly while taking in the view was particularly memorable. It’s not an inexpensive Accommodation, but considering the Facility offerings, meals, service, and views, I felt it was well worth the price. I would love to stay again.

This is an inn I had been curious about for about a year, and I was finally able to make my long-awaited stay. At check-in, you kindly explained the history and culture of Ise-Kawasaki in great detail, which truly moved me. The Ise tea and salted yokan served to us were delicious, and the warm, attentive hospitality of the staff member who assisted us left a lasting impression. The room was a charming space where you could feel the breath of history—spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The beautiful garden view beyond the room was so captivating that I found myself gazing at it for ages. The amenities were also wonderful, including VMG’s familiar rice bran series and the bath additive “Ise no Misogi-yu.” What impressed me most was breakfast. The dishes, inspired by the tradition of “Shinsen,” offerings presented to the deities at the Grand Shrine, had deep, comforting flavors that reflected time-honored skill and spirit. As I savored them while feeling the region’s climate and history, I felt a profound sense of peace and healing. I also appreciated being able to enjoy Ise udon at breakfast—something I had missed during my trip—which was such a thoughtful touch. At check-out, you gladly took commemorative photos for us in front of the main building and warmly saw us off until we were out of sight; that moment remains vividly in my heart even now. It was clear that everyone on staff truly cherishes Ise’s history and culture. This stay reminded me of Japan’s precious sense of beauty—something easily forgotten amid everyday busyness—and made it an unforgettable experience. I would love to return again. Top-rated in every aspect that defines a Ryokan—Onsen, dining, comfort, and views. Truly one of the very best Ryokan in Kyushu. Next time, I’d like to stay for two nights.

We visited to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday. It was a long drive from Yokohama to Nagano, but this was a wonderful Accommodation that truly made us glad we came. The in-room open-air bath was a little hot and needed some adjustment, but it was clean, spacious, and free of insects. The shampoo and conditioner also left our hair smooth and silky. (Some Ryokan at this level still leave your hair feeling rough.) All the staff who welcomed us were smiling, and during dinner the head chef served the main dish right at our table. Everything was delicious—made with local ingredients and carefully prepared with great attention to detail. On our way out, they even opened the souvenir shop in the main building earlier for us, so I was happy to be able to buy the souvenirs I wanted. My parents were very pleased as well, so we would love to visit again while they are still healthy.
