We stayed here on a family trip, and although we arrived too late for dinner, thank you for your kind and accommodating service. It was a shame I couldn’t try the wine. I bought some wine to take home on the way back, and it was delicious. I wish I could have tasted it before buying. Next time, I’d like to enjoy the wine while taking my time over the meal. The Onsen was also great. I would definitely like to visit again.

The meals were outstanding. Dinner met our expectations, and breakfast exceeded them. The vegetables in particular looked beautiful and tasted delicious. The Room was charming, and the bath was spacious and wonderful.

My wife and I stayed for one night shortly before Tanabata. We visited after seeing it featured on NHK’s “Bi no Tsubo,” because we wanted to try the irori hearth cuisine. The entrance is located within the large parking area of Shirayama Hime Shrine, and the Accommodation sits in a quiet setting between the shrine’s approach paths. Our Room was a Japanese-style tatami room, and the garden view from the engawa veranda—looking past the irori—was full of charm and very relaxing. There is no toilet in the Room, but one is very close by, so it wasn’t an issue. It felt like staying in a spacious traditional home. Also, in a reading room near the bath called Waraku-an, we could sit on chairs on the veranda and gaze at the greenery along the shrine approach, losing track of time. Dinner was served in another Japanese-style room with an irori. The appetizers presented in a bamboo basket were decorated with bamboo leaves and hydrangeas, giving a cool summer feel. After that, we enjoyed delicious dishes centered around ayu (sweetfish) grilled by the young proprietor over the irori in our room. The ayu rice was excellent as well. Including breakfast, everything was truly delicious, and the portions were just right—we were very satisfied. Before long we noticed handwritten messages from the proprietress throughout our Room and around the Accommodation. They are humorous and warm, and when you speak with her you can really feel her heartfelt hospitality and unhurried sense of time. She even said that when bears once appeared at the shrine, they had simply come to pay their respects—bravo. All in all, Wadayasan at Mt. Hakusan was an outstanding Accommodation for its setting, food, and wonderful proprietress—and it’s an Accommodation we would love to stay at again.

Two adults and two dogs stayed here. On the way, our navigation app guided us on a detour and we arrived via a very narrow road, but the staff told us that if you exit onto the road right in front, you’re immediately on a main road and it’s very close to the Awaji Interchange—an excellent location. Our dogs were thrilled and ran around excitedly in both the shared dog run Room and the run by our Room. We really appreciated the free drinks at the shared run. Dinner at Genpei was amazing—the conger eel hot pot, sashimi, and generous portions were all incredibly delicious (lol). In summer, most vacation rentals have lots of insects, but there were very few this time, which was great. Proper pest control measures are in place. The staff were also wonderful and kindly helped us throughout—thank you very much. We’ll definitely come back again.

The moment we arrived, my first thought was, “This is even more like a love hotel than I imagined!” When we entered the building, we didn’t understand the system, so we called a staff member using the phone at the front desk. That was the only person we met during our one-night stay. The bathroom has a jacuzzi and a spacious washing area, and you can even watch movies on the TV. I’m usually picky about pillows, but the bed was very comfortable. The drinks in the fridge were cheaper than at other Hotels. The amenities were surprisingly luxurious for these days—the body towel felt great to use, the toothbrushes were good quality, and there was even a ReFa hair dryer plus a hair iron! For breakfast I chose the BLT sandwich; it was delicious and came with coffee. It’s easy to access by car, and places like Toshodaiji Temple and Horyuji Temple were close by for sightseeing the next day. The price was low so I had no expectations at all, but it exceeded them in a great way!! It honestly felt more all-inclusive than the all-inclusive Accommodation we stayed at the next day (lol). Checkout is easy too. If I have another chance, I’d love to stay here again.

A very well-maintained Hotel. As soon as you enter the Room, the soothing scent of hinoki cypress welcomes you, and the natural sunlight feels gentle.

The service and hospitality were just right in every way, and I was very satisfied. It lived up to its reputation.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in our Room. The spacious, beautifully appointed Room, the open-air bath while listening to the gentle sound of the river, and the truly delicious cuisine supported by carefully prepared dashi made for an incredibly luxurious and unforgettable time. Although it was described as “quality over quantity,” we were more than satisfied with the generous portions as well—every dish, including crab and fish, was outstanding and deeply impressive. We visited to celebrate my mother’s retirement, and she was thrilled, saying she had never had such delicious food before. With a bath in the Room and in-room dining, our family was able to unwind at our own pace; we felt completely refreshed and ready to do our best again from tomorrow. The staff were efficient, cheerful, and welcoming, making our stay very comfortable. Thank you very much—we would love to visit again!

We stayed here as a family. Inami is known as a mecca for traditional woodcarving artisans, and this Accommodation—renovated from an old kimono shop—perfectly matches the unique atmosphere of the town. Only one group per day. As others have commented, the Room, garden, and bath were all truly impeccable. What stood out most was the chef, who also served as our concierge. He was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us so much about the ingredients, the town’s history, and more. I was deeply moved by how learning about the cuisine and ingredients while dining made the meal even more extraordinary—it reminded me that food is also an encounter in itself. Thank you very much. Hearing about their experience after the Noto earthquake was heartbreaking, but we could also feel how people in Hokuriku are moving forward with determination. We would love to stay again.

It was a wonderful, very cozy Accommodation. From the moment you step through the entrance, a beautiful world opens up. The Room, the main house, and all the interior decor were lovely—I found myself wishing I could live in a home like this. I will definitely come again. Thank you very much.

We stayed for three nights! The Room was spotless, with no noticeable odor from other dogs. The tableware, cookware, and appliances were well stocked, and there were plenty of pet amenities too—it honestly made us think, “We want to live in a place like this!” (lol) You can see the beach and ocean from the living room window—an absolutely amazing location. There are several Accommodations next door in a row, and the beach right in front seems to be a popular hidden spot, so it was often used by people other than guests. We had a truly luxurious stay and were very satisfied!

Based on the Reviews, we chose this property for our once-a-year family trip. Just as the Reviews said, every dish was truly delicious and carefully prepared, and we were very satisfied. The only regret is that we ate too much at lunch and couldn’t finish everything because we were so full. Next time, I’d like to come with a good appetite and enjoy every course from start to finish. The Room was new and spotless, and the view of Toyama Bay from the window was wonderful. We were able to relax and spend a peaceful time. We made great memories as a family. We would love to stay again.

I stayed here to watch the Gion Festival. It’s close to Kyoto Station, and even as a solo traveler, I was very comfortable. The Room was clean, just the right size, and well stocked with amenities. The bath area included a stone sauna, which I used. Since it’s rare to find a Hotel with a stone sauna, it was a great experience. Breakfast was also very delicious. In short, it was a very comfortable Hotel, and I would definitely like to stay here again. I’ll be happy to return on my next visit.

We visited to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday. We had dinner at arco on the 42nd floor. They prepared a dessert plate, and my father was very happy. The website said we could see fireworks from the 42nd floor, so we made a Reservation, but unfortunately they were not visible from the restaurant. (However, after leaving the restaurant, we were able to see them briefly from the lobby.) We also had breakfast at arco the next morning, and the Tsuno sparkling wine and cheese were delicious. My mother especially enjoyed the galette. The ocean view from our Room was wonderful, and I’m grateful that we could do something meaningful for my parents. We would love to visit again.

Although I live in Kyoto City, I chose this Hotel because I wanted to enjoy an Onsen and a delicious breakfast close by without traveling far. The result was a truly wonderful stay that left me completely satisfied and thinking, “I definitely want to come back!” The cute yet elegant, almost overseas-like atmosphere lifted my spirits the moment I arrived. The door leading to the guest Room floors requires you to tap your Room key card, which felt secure and luxurious. I also enjoyed the organic drip coffee in my Room as a welcome drink, and it instantly made me feel relaxed and happy. As for the Onsen—what a treat! I enjoyed it three times: in the evening, before bed, and again in the morning. I was especially delighted by the complimentary beer service at the spa lounge available with bathing until 6:00 p.m. I drank about half in the lounge and took the rest back to my Room; enjoying it while watching Kyoto’s cityscape shift from dusk into neon-lit night through the window was simply perfect. What impressed me most during this stay was breakfast! When entering the venue, as soon as the receptionist greeted me cheerfully, all of the staff inside welcomed me with “Good morning,” which instantly made me feel excited. Even though I was dining alone, their thoughtful hospitality felt warm, and I remained comfortable throughout. Every dish—Japanese and Western—was truly delicious. From freshly made dashimaki tamago prepared by the chef to Kyoto-style obanzai side dishes and detox water, I enjoyed sampling many different items little by little. Their smart service—quietly clearing empty plates each time I stood up—was also very pleasant, and before I knew it, an hour had passed as I savored breakfast. This may have been one of the most satisfying breakfasts I've ever had. Since checkout is at 11:00 a.m., it was also a great memory being able to visit nearby Rokkakudo Temple after breakfast. This is truly a treasure of a Hotel—easy to reach by public transportation, with high-quality Onsen facilities and an outstanding breakfast that leaves you feeling refreshed. I'd love to recommend it to friends around me, and I'll definitely be back myself! Thank you for such a lovely time.

I was able to enjoy another wonderful holiday. The balcony was even more beautifully maintained than last time, and I could relax while listening to the sound of the waves. It left me feeling refreshed and motivated to work hard again—and made me want to come back!

I stayed at this Hotel on a trip with my son’s family. It’s close to the park, and the Room is very cute. My grandchildren were excited and delighted from the moment we arrived, thanks to the adorable character statues at the entrance. Breakfast was delicious, and there was a great variety of desserts as well—we were very satisfied. I’d love to stay here again when we visit USJ.

My family stayed at The Gate Hotel when it first opened near Kaminarimon, and we became fans. After staying twice at The Gate Hotel Kaminarimon, time passed, and we were finally able to stay at the Takasegawa Gate Hotel, which we had long wanted to visit. Both my mother and I were deeply moved by the thoughtful hospitality; the high level of service was just as wonderful as when we stayed in Kaminarimon. Breakfast was even more delicious than expected, and we were also impressed by the attentiveness of the young staff.

It was my first visit in a while, and I was completely satisfied. I felt truly refreshed and relaxed. Thank you sincerely for checking the dinner menu with us in advance and for your thoughtful consideration. I was also impressed by how delicious the breakfast was. The table decorations in the lobby were very beautiful. I would like to visit again soon. Thank you very much.

We stayed for one night starting on 7/29! It was just my son and me, and right after we arrived there were kid-friendly activities prepared—shaved ice and stencil-cutting—so we really enjoyed them together. After that we moved to our Room, and both of us were impressed by how spacious and clean it was. We didn’t use the Onsen in the Room, but the semi-private open-air bath felt almost like having it to ourselves, so I ended up going in three times during our stay (lol). After arriving, we took our time relaxing while visiting the different lounges. Dinner had slightly different menus for adults and children, but they were mostly the same, which made my son very happy. All drinks in the Room were included in the price as well, so we enjoyed a relaxed evening drink together with the provided beer and juice. Breakfast had an amazing variety of sides to go with rice—I could have eaten endless bowls. It was also great that refills of miso soup were available. Since it’s located up in the mountains, the view is incredible. This was our last day after traveling around various Hotels, and we had such a wonderful time that I genuinely felt sad to leave. The staff were also exceptionally polite and attentive—truly excellent service. Next time I’d like to come back with my wife.
