Stayed in a smoking double room for a Multiple Night Stay in Iwaki City for work. Here’s my review from the perspective of a heavy smoker and drink enthusiast. Location: There is a parking lot right in front of the hotel with a maximum fee of ¥500 for 24 hours. A convenience store (Lawson), a day-use Onsen (Sahako no Yu), and Yumoto Station are all about a 5-minute walk away, making the location very convenient. However, there are very few dining options, even around the station, so it’s necessary to do some research in advance. I walked up and down the nearby streets twice and found only one izakaya where smoking was allowed ("Odoriba" near the station). The friendly hostess, affordable drinks, and smoking-friendly environment were great, but unfortunately, the place is set to close in a year due to station redevelopment. Many shops had their shutters down, possibly due to the off-season. The adjacent yakitori restaurant "Juhachiban" does not allow smoking but had pleasant service and reasonable prices for a tourist area, making it a recommended spot. Further down, the bar "Mai Tai" seemed to allow smoking at its outdoor sidewalk seating, but I didn’t try it as it looked stylish and seemed a bit pricey. Hotel Room: The glass-walled bathroom (frosted glass, but still) felt a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, there were no major issues. The room was clean and well-maintained. Unlike many hotels where removing the key card cuts off all electricity, this hotel allowed the refrigerator to stay on while I was out, which was convenient for keeping drinks cold during a Multiple Night Stay. The availability of an extension cord was also a nice touch. Other Notes: There is no ice machine or ice service at the front desk, so I had to buy ice from the convenience store for in-room drinks. There is a vending machine for beer and sours next to the front desk. A map of nearby restaurants is also available at the front desk, which was helpful for exploring the area. Considering the rising prices of hotels recently, this hotel offered excellent value for money. The room facilities and location made it a very cost-effective choice.

I stayed here for a Multiple Night Stay during my trip to Nagano. Even though I arrived much earlier than planned, the front desk staff kindly assisted me, which was very helpful. The Room was spacious enough for a family, and since it was just the two of us as a couple, we could really relax. Because the location is up in the mountains, it was quiet and cool at night, and I slept well. Breakfast was buffet-style with a sufficient variety. Since I stayed multiple nights, I had breakfast twice, and I appreciated that the selection changed slightly. There are vending machines for drinks and ice cream inside the building, as well as a small shop, but there are no convenience stores or restaurants nearby. If you choose a Plan without meals or plan to have light food and drinks in your Room, I recommend shopping before arriving at the Accommodation. I also had a Plan without dinner, so the front desk staff told me about “Madarao no Yu,” located a short way down the hill. Thank you to all the staff for their kind hospitality—this was my first Multiple Night Stay, and I had a very comfortable time.

It’s in a very convenient location close to the station. Key features are the spacious layout and a dining table, so you can throw a party with groceries you’ve bought. Everything you need for your stay is provided, including cups, plates, and knives. There’s also a drum-style washing machine. Excellent!

With the No Meals Included plan, all necessary Facilities are provided, and your privacy is well ensured. The location is also convenient, close to City Hall and the dining area. Free parking was a big help as well, and I would like to stay here again when visiting Hakodate.

It was a wonderful Ryokan. Our Room did not have a bath, but there were many private baths available, and we could use any open one without a Reservation, so it was not an issue at all. The meals were more than we could finish, and even my son—who eats a lot—was full and satisfied. Everyone welcomed us with warm smiles and excellent service, and we were able to spend a comfortable, lovely time.

We arrived empty-handed, but the staff kindly guided us to a nearby supermarket where we could shop for BBQ supplies. Although it was just the two of us, there were many children around on that day, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. After the BBQ, we relaxed in the Onsen with its clear and silky smooth water, which was incredibly soothing. The Room was in a log cabin style, allowing us to unwind while enjoying the warmth of natural wood. The breakfast was also delicious.

The twin room was spacious and comfortable, with an Onsen in the room's bathtub. Although I couldn't use the open-air bath due to light rain and chilly weather, the large public bath with natural hot spring water was excellent. The stay included breakfast, which was satisfying in both quality and quantity. However, the first-floor area felt dimly lit at night, creating a somewhat lonely atmosphere.

With a steak late-night snack included, I think this price is very reasonable. Traveling with my dog, it was a very satisfying trip. I’ve found an Accommodation I’d love to visit again!

It was so cool and refreshing that I almost forgot the summer heat of the city. I think I would have been even more satisfied if there had been a coffee service. I look forward to staying here again!

I stayed for 3 nights for skiing in Hakuba. The snow quality was terrible all 4 days, but I was very satisfied with the property overall. The ski locker in the drying room is spacious, easily accommodating boards and boots for 4 people, and it has a lock. The room is well soundproofed. There is a large public bath and an open-air bath. And above all, the food was extremely delicious. At first glance, I thought there might be a limited number of dishes, but the quantity was more than satisfying, and the seasoning was excellent. I will use it again if I have the opportunity.

My first trip to Atami. All the staff were very kind, and their smiles were wonderful. If I have the chance to visit Atami again, I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

It was the hot season, so we stayed here on our first trip to Kita-Karuizawa. Since it was raining, we quickly visited Shiraito Falls and checked in after 3:00 pm. They said they installed air conditioning for the first time last year, but the window screens and fan were enough for us. There are two baths, and families can reserve them for private use; I enjoyed soaking twice by myself. The water felt soft and very pleasant. The Room also had POLA amenities, which was a nice touch. The refrigerator is shared, so you write your name on your items. Dinner uses local and homegrown vegetables and fruit, and everything was delicious. For the main dish there is beef or pork; the barley-fed pork roast was outstanding. The sauce was great, but it was delicious even with just salt and pepper. The salad dressing at dinner was also excellent. There are about 50 kinds of wine, and both extra coffee and alcoholic drinks are very reasonably priced. The breakfast bread was placed in a bag with warmed stones (?) inside, so it stayed warm and crispy—really tasty. The owner’s wife shared lots of information about nearby farm stands and the area around here, so on our way back—once the weather cleared—we stopped again at Kubo Farm, Tsuruya Karuizawa store, and the outlet mall before heading home. Vegetables and fruit are inexpensive there, making shopping really fun. I’ve come to love Kita-Karuizawa, and I think we’ll be staying here again next year as well. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay. The Onsen water was wonderfully silky and felt amazing. The meals were delicious, and I enjoyed chatting with the staff. Thank you very much.

Usually, I stay at accommodations in the business hotel price range, but this time I splurged a little. The room was spacious, the bed was clean, and the room itself was tidy and comfortable. There were complimentary coffee and wine services, which I enjoyed. Located in a quiet area, it was relaxing and satisfying. Since my visit was during winter and there was no open-air bath available, I would like to visit again outside of the winter season.

At night, we could see a beautiful moon and stars from the open-air bath, and in the morning we enjoyed views of the Northern Alps mountain range—overall, we were able to fully enjoy the Onsen. With plenty of greenery around, it’s a place I’d like to visit during a long holiday. As for the Facility and breakfast, they felt average—neither particularly good nor bad.

I had reserved a non-smoking twin room, but was recommended an available semi-double room in the new building at the same price, so I stayed in the new building instead. In addition to the semi-double bed, a regular futon was also provided, so the two of us used the bed and the futon. As it was newly built and felt like a compact studio with a kitchen and separate bath and toilet, it was very comfortable—and it was great that we could watch YouTube as well. However, only one toothbrush amenity had been provided, and there was a wrinkled towel hanging in the bathroom that I couldn’t tell what it had been used for, which was puzzling. Overall, though, it was a pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

I had a very comfortable stay. The Facility and amenities were fully adequate, and I had no inconvenience at all. It was also great that the Room uses a PIN code instead of a key, so there was no worry about losing it.

I booked this Ryokan two days before my trip to Atami. It is located near Kinomiya Station, which is within walking distance from Atami. The location was excellent, especially being just a few minutes' walk to Kinomiya Shrine. The room was a typical Ryokan style, offering an authentic experience. Although the angle of the room was slightly awkward, I could still catch a glimpse of the sea. This Ryokan also has table tennis facilities, which provided some simple yet enjoyable entertainment. The onsen bath was small but gave a nice onsen experience. However, there were no facial cleansers available, which might be inconvenient for women. I added breakfast to my stay and enjoyed bread, bananas, boiled eggs, fruits, and drinks. While simple in variety, having breakfast at the Ryokan added to the travel atmosphere nicely.
