This was my first stay, and the Hotel is close to downtown, easy to find, and convenient for going out. The check-in explanation was polite and easy to understand. I also received a complimentary sweet bread, which made me feel lucky. After 8:00 p.m., there was a free service of spicy Hotel curry, and it was convenient to be able to serve myself the amount I wanted depending on how hungry I was. Next to the front desk on the first floor, there were a coffee server, a miso soup server (?), tea bags, and more available 24 hours a day. I stayed in a single Room; it was clean inside and spacious enough. However, I couldn’t tell whether the air conditioner adjustment display indicated temperature up/down or fan strength/power level. When I asked about the bus stop at check-out, they explained it clearly and even gave me a timetable with the relevant times marked, which was very helpful. I would like to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you for your hospitality.

First of all, the staff were wonderful. Many international team members were working there, and they were well trained and welcomed us with warm smiles. I misunderstood the breakfast time and arrived late to my set meal seat, but I was not rushed at all and was able to enjoy a delicious meal. Everything was very clean, including the bedding sheets. This time I used the Yugawara Smile Coupon and got a great deal on my stay, but even without the coupon I felt it offers excellent value for money. It was only one night, but I was able to relax. Thank you!

This auberge is located in a small, quiet cove. You can step out to the shore right away, and the view from the dining area is beautiful and soothing. The owner’s home-cooked dishes are delicious—especially the simmered fish and octopus rice, which were outstanding. The water is also excellent; we were told it is tap water. A staff member mentioned that Obama’s water is said to be even better than sake.

We stayed as a group of four, with two Twin Rooms. The rooms were clean, charming, and very comfortable. We were especially surprised by the excellent value for the meals. Both the meat and sashimi were incredibly delicious. We would definitely love to stay here again!

We stayed as three generations and booked two Rooms (a barrier-free Japanese-Western Room and a Japanese-Western Room for four). ■Room Barrier-free Japanese-Western Room It felt a bit dated, but it was very clean and comfortable even with a wheelchair. That said, the view from the window was mostly the garden hillside, so the scenery was a little underwhelming, and the Room felt slightly dark at times. Japanese-Western Room (for four) A beautifully renovated, stylish space! With an amazing view of the pond right in front of us, our daughters were thrilled. ■Onsen・Facility / Inside the Accommodation The tatami hallways meant no slippers were needed—such a relaxing atmosphere. There was also a footbath area where we could unwind. The private bath in particular was spacious, so my mother could use it with peace of mind. The Onsen water quality was surprisingly rich and moisturizing—truly wonderful. ■Meals・Service The food portions were generous and everything tasted excellent. The extra-ordered horse sashimi was also very satisfying. When they prepared a cake for us, they kindly helped set things up so we could enjoy it in our Room, which we really appreciated. The free drinks after viewing hanamomo blossoms (including draft beer) were also fantastic. ■Overall The Rooms, Onsen, and meals were all outstanding—we had such a fulfilling stay. We would definitely like to return to this Accommodation.

I stayed with a motorcycle, and they kindly let me park under the eaves by the entrance. Also, I was truly happy that I could use the 8th-floor panoramic bath and the attached bathing Facility for free! However, my room was on the east side of the 7th floor, so it got strong morning sun and was scorching hot from early on even with the air conditioner set to high.

A new, beautiful, and very clean Hotel. The front desk and staff are efficient and pleasant. There is no bathtub in the Room—only a shower. This is a popular style these days, and personally I support it. As Japanese travelers are getting older, there are many cases of people falling asleep in the tub, so I often hear from Hotel staff that showers are best for preventing accidents. Also, I’ve heard that some international visitors may overflow the bathtub as well. That said, I would like to see a large public bath added as an alternative. In Beppu City, with so many public baths around town, it’s not essential—but in Miyazaki City it’s an area where you have to go as far as Seagaia or Shintomi Town to enjoy a natural Onsen. The free onigiri breakfast set is also very delicious, and I will definitely become a repeat guest—but I really hope for a large public bath.

Because it is close to the company I visit on business, I stay here when traveling to Okayama for work. Although the Hotel is old, it is well cleaned, and the complimentary drinks, services, and amenities are excellent. The staff are helpful, making it a reliable choice.

We stayed at this Accommodation after spending the day at Shibamasa World. Most other Accommodations require check-in by 18:00–18:30 if you have meals included, but this one allowed check-in until 19:00, which gave us more flexibility, so we chose it. We were happy that we could choose the main dish and each of us could pick what we liked. The food was luxurious and delicious, and we were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. Our children were also pleased to have a kaiseki meal instead of a buffet, and everything was delicious. They also happily ate the kids’ menu. The Room was spacious, with plenty of space even for our family of five. The bedding was mattresses rather than futons; I usually wake up with body aches, but perhaps because it distributed pressure well, I woke up without pain—actually better than usual. The bath wasn’t very large, with one indoor bath and one open-air bath, but it was relaxing and felt great. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

I felt this Accommodation could be rated very differently depending on the purpose of your trip and the Room you choose. I stayed because I was interested in their guest Room with a semi-open-air bath. The exterior looks dated, and the front desk area doesn’t feel like a typical Hotel, which made me a bit uneasy at first. But once I entered the Room, it was very clean and instantly lifted my mood. The Facility also felt relatively new and well maintained. And of course, it has an ocean view. The refrigerator includes a freezer compartment, and there’s also a microwave and a washing machine (with dryer). Amenities such as skincare items and cleansing products are all provided individually packaged. There were two bath towels set out plus one spare in the drawer—three per person in total, which was more than enough. (Though I’m not sure if this applies only to Rooms with a semi-open-air bath.) Most importantly, the semi-open-air bath was truly wonderful. You can see the ocean at a glance through the large window, and the tub is spacious enough for what feels like four people. The Onsen in the Room is not free-flowing, but it’s easy to adjust the temperature so you can soak as long as you like at your preferred heat. Because there’s a glass partition between it and the living area, you can even watch TV (with subtitles) while bathing. The staff were pleasant and kind—they quickly helped me exchange my indoor sandal size and delivered them to my Room. It was No Meals Included, but it’s close to both the station and Atami Ginza, making dining out and shopping very convenient. It’s different from an ordinary Hotel, but as a condominium-style stay with an in-room Onsen, it was excellent. I highly recommend the Grand View Room. I’d love to visit again.

I stayed here for a live concert trip. If you just need a place to sleep, it was completely satisfactory. I bought food at a nearby convenience store and ate it here. I thought it would be nice to have a table for eating. All the staff were very kind. It was my first time in Fuchu City, and I enjoyed it. Thank you very much.

I frequently use many AZ Hotels in Kyushu. The reception staff are usually very friendly and welcoming, but this time the atmosphere felt more like a high-end hotel, which was also nice. The price has increased, but dinner has become more luxurious. They promptly replenish items when they run out. Chicken nanban is particularly popular. On Friday, there seemed to be fewer guests, so I enjoyed dinner and alcohol at a leisurely pace. Breakfast has also become more luxurious and included chicken tempura. Personally, as someone of my age, fried food in the morning can be a bit much; it would be appreciated if meatballs or hamburg steaks from before could occasionally make a return on some days.

Surrounded by nature, it was a very quiet and pleasant place. However, as there are no shops nearby, we recommend doing your shopping in advance.

I stayed with breakfast and dinner included, and was able to stay at a reasonable price as a stopover during my trip. I was satisfied with the meals as well. The amenities were the bare essentials, which was enough. I rated the bath 4 stars only because it was a unit bath with the toilet, but there were no particular issues. I brought my own drinks, but before check-in there were tea bags and coffee available for use with the in-room kettle. I ended up having about four cups in one night by myself, so when they told me at reception to “help yourself,” I was tired and it made me really happy! The staff member who assisted at dinner served us with a warm smile, which made me feel relaxed. For checkout, you return the card key by putting it into a box system—very smooth for business travelers. Since I’m not used to staying overnight often, I did say thank you, but I found myself thinking how modern (or maybe it’s always been this way?) it is. Thank you very much.

I stayed here for a live concert trip.\n With the Hotel just a 3-minute walk from the station, it’s in a fantastic location—close to izakaya and also right near the popular Hamamatsu gyoza restaurant “Mutsugiku.”\n It’s 3 minutes from the station, and you can arrive in about 5 minutes even from the platform.\n They also offer welcome drinks, the Room was clean, and the female front desk staff were very kind, so I had a comfortable stay.\n \n Drinks are available near the front desk, but I would have been even happier if there had been drip coffee in the Room.\n \n There is no ice machine, but they will prepare ice if you ask at the front desk.\n \n The Room we stayed in this time was an EN Twin (twin). It was reasonably priced, and one of the two beds was a sofa converted into a bed.\n \n It felt a bit compact, but it was more than enough for two women. Great quality for the price—a Hotel I’d like to use again.

When I entered the Room, it felt small, but I was impressed that there was a refrigerator and microwave under the bed. The sink area and toilet were also small, and I was impressed by space-saving touches like the efficient trash bin. It was good value for money. I’m satisfied. However, the sink stopper didn’t work, so it was difficult to wash my contact lenses. That was the only downside. To go to the Sky Spa, you borrow a swimsuit at the front desk before heading up. Some tubs are out of service, but two were available, and I enjoyed the jacuzzi as well—it was a great experience. Recommended. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.

The quiet atmosphere allowed me to relax. Since I was staying for work, I booked a single room, and the large desk was very helpful. I also appreciated being able to watch subscription services on the TV. However, I noticed there might not have been a clock in the room; if that's the case, having one would be convenient. The breakfast buffet seemed tailored for international guests, so it would be nice to have more Japanese-style dishes available. Unfortunately, I couldn't take advantage of the late check-out this time due to my schedule. Next time, I'd love to take my time and enjoy the art pieces displayed within the accommodation. Stayed for a family birthday trip. The accommodation had a charming, retro atmosphere that felt like stepping back into the Showa era. There were various rest areas throughout the accommodation, perfect for relaxing with a book or simply unwinding. The retro-style chairs were very comfortable, and even the scent carried an old-fashioned charm reminiscent of the past. Some rooms were located quite far from the bath area, making it feel like navigating a maze at times. In winter, the hallways seemed like they could get very cold. A few minutes' walk from the accommodation was an exclusive bathing area for guests featuring five private semi-open-air baths and one non-private semi-open-air bath. It might be challenging to visit in bad weather, but we went both in the evening and morning to enjoy 100% natural hot spring water that kept our bodies warm—truly excellent Onsen water! However, some parts of the bathtubs and floors had sharp textures due to mineral deposits from the Onsen water, so caution was needed (laughs). The large open-air baths offered three temperature options: cold-feeling lukewarm, very lukewarm, and very hot—but unfortunately none at just-right temperatures. Dinner by an irori hearth was delicious; however, it could get smoky so clothing care is advised. All staff members were warm and provided excellent hospitality throughout our stay!
