We were very satisfied with both the Room and the meals. We have stayed at various Ryokan and Hotels considered fairly upscale, but here we especially felt every staff member’s genuine care and dedication to ensuring guests are happy—it was a wonderful experience. My wife also said she would like to come again.

We stayed for one night on a Kyoto trip while it was still quite hot, also to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was our first visit to Sumiyasan in more than ten years, and we were welcomed with genuine warmth. The renovated room was spacious, and the bath was wonderfully relaxing—so we were able to take a soak soon after arriving and unwind. Every dish was outstanding and beautifully presented; we truly enjoyed the meal. By chance, on the day we stayed there was a tea gathering, and we were even treated to tea. This is an inn we would love to stay at again.

We used this place for camping. All of the staff were wonderful. We also really enjoyed the hot springs and were truly satisfied. The campsite was clean and had everything we needed. We were a bit worried about animals because the forest is nearby, but it was fine. If we have the chance, we would like to visit again. Thank you very much.

Although the building and Room are not the newest, the staff’s thoughtful hospitality—clearly reflecting excellent training—felt genuinely warm rather than scripted. The food was also stylish and delicious, and we had a very comfortable stay.

The Facility and service were excellent, and it’s a place where I’d like to stay one more night or visit again. This is a recommended Accommodation. Unfortunately, there were two issues: 1. The shower in Room 106 had almost no water pressure, so I couldn’t wash my hair. I went somewhere else in the middle of the night to wash my hair. I would like enough water pressure in the Room shower to be able to wash my hair. 2. There was no lobby with staff on site at the Accommodation; if anything happened, I was told to scan a QR code and talk via smartphone. However, I could not access the system from my phone no matter how many times I tried. Even though I went there to relax, I had to struggle for a long time with setting up a smartphone system that didn’t work. Please place a telephone in the Room.

I recently stayed at Hisakata-no. They thoughtfully accommodated everything we discussed in advance, including ingredients I cannot eat and assistive tools for an elderly companion, which made our stay very comfortable. Since the forecast said the temperature would drop the next day, I asked whether there was something to wear over loungewear, and they kindly helped right away. They also prepared birthday celebration items as a surprise, and I’m truly grateful for such a memorable time. The room, hot spring bath, and facilities were all very comfortable. The only slight disappointment was that the amenities felt fairly standard in quality. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay in one of the other rooms as well. Thank you very much.

Upon arrival, we were given an oshibori towel, and we could choose between a warm or cold one. The room was clean, the bathtub was large, and it was an excellent value for money. It’s rare to get this level of service at this price! It ranks in my personal top three so far. There’s a convenience store right next door, and it seems there are microwaves installed in front of each elevator. I’d like to stay here again next time.

We stayed for two nights with two young children and loved it. Check-in via the machine was smooth, the room was spacious, and we could relax comfortably on the sofa. The bathroom was also very large, and the big mirror at the sink was very convenient. The staff were kind as well. We will stay here again next time we visit Disney.

I attended a concert at K-Arena and stayed at Hilton Yokohama. Since it’s right next door, it was incredibly convenient, and I was glad I could quickly get in line for the merchandise sales starting at 10:00 the next day. I also had dinner at Ocean Milano in the Hotel. The food was excellent, and all of the staff were wonderful.

I had been looking forward to my stay at Manpei Hotel, but after arriving I became unwell and developed a fever over 38°C. Even so, the staff were incredibly kind—lending me a thermometer and promptly bringing an ice pack and ice. They also kindly changed all of my meals to room service, allowing me to rest and eat comfortably in my room. Although my long-awaited stay turned out differently than expected, I truly appreciated the thoughtful care and warm hospitality, especially while I wasn’t feeling well. Unfortunately, I ended up spending most of the time in the room this visit, but my husband was very pleased and said the in-room hot spring bath was wonderful. While I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the hotel in perfect health, the kindness of the staff is what stayed with me most. Next time, I would love to return when I’m feeling well and take my time enjoying this historic hotel and its dining. Thank you very much for everything.

As we did last year, four of us stayed again for a birthday sleepover. The Facility was well designed with no unnecessary extras, and having a large public bath was fantastic. Because of light rain, we took taxis to and from Chinatown, which was very convenient. We also really enjoyed using screen mirroring on the TV. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and all four of us were completely satisfied.

We stayed again this time with my elderly parents. They are both big fans of Zabo, and had been looking forward to the trip from the moment we booked. We truly had a wonderful time, including the shuttle service, and we sincerely thank you. The comfort of the room, the delicious meals, the hot spring that left our skin silky smooth, and above all the exceptional thoughtfulness of the staff made my parents extremely happy. We would love to visit again.

Due to a typhoon, my flight was canceled, so I made a last-minute Reservation. Since the Room I reserved was fully booked, they upgraded me, and I was able to stay in a comfortable space. They also recommended nearby Italian restaurants and bars, and I truly felt their thoughtful hospitality. Kumamoto Castle is within walking distance, and my unexpected extended stay actually allowed me to enjoy Kumamoto’s local food and sightseeing. I would love to stay here again.

I stayed for three nights and was completely satisfied!! The Hotel was spotless throughout—bright, clean, and beautifully maintained. The front desk staff and housekeeping team were friendly and welcoming, which created a great atmosphere. The amenities were refined, and I was especially happy to have organic coffee. One small note: the complimentary mineral water in the Room refrigerator had to be picked up at the front desk from the second night onward. It would be even better if it could be placed in the Room during cleaning. The Room was bright and clean, with no odors in the bedding. I’m a bit particular about cleanliness, but there was nothing that bothered me here—I felt very comfortable. The bath area and changing room were also very clean, and the open-air bath was wonderful. The ReFa hair dryer and other amenities such as shampoo were great as well. I especially loved the post-bath lounge and terrace. I think this is one of the best Hotels in this price range. I already have a Reservation for next month. This time I had a Room with a view of Mt. Asama, and the sunrise was beautiful. I’d be happy if I could have a mountain-view Room again next month—can I request that? Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Dear Kamon Team, To celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary, we stayed here for the first time, choosing your Accommodation based on Reviews around the Hakone area—and it turned into the best anniversary we could have hoped for. My wife and I are truly grateful. From check-in to check-out, we received impeccable hospitality in every way. Starting with the attendant whose wonderful smile looked after us, every member of staff was exactly as described in the Reviews—flawless in their manners and attentive to even the smallest details. The beautifully renewed design blending Japanese and Western styles was delightful, and everything throughout the Facility was thoroughly cleaned and well maintained, creating an exceptional sense of freshness and comfort. As lovers of traditional Ryokan stays, both my wife and I were completely satisfied. We were also impressed by the wide selection of stylish women’s yukata—and it felt almost too wonderful to receive a cute drawstring pouch filled with amenities as well. When we mentioned in advance that we were visiting for our anniversary, thoughtful touches awaited us at dinner: a framed red-and-white crane mizuhiki decoration, chopstick rests marked with celebratory characters, sekihan served in an adorable bowl with “good fortune” written on it—and even a commemorative gift of a ceramic tumbler set. The dinner course itself was outstanding: exquisite ingredients beautifully presented on elegant tableware, with staging that delighted all five senses. We could truly feel the aesthetic sense and craftsmanship of everyone in the kitchen team throughout. Of course, there was nothing to fault—the taste, portions, hot/cold balance, and perfectly timed serving and clearing were all impeccable. We have stayed at many luxury Ryokan and heritage Hotels every year for our anniversary, but there is no doubt that Kamon has become an unforgettable Accommodation for us. Even on our way home we couldn’t stop talking about your hospitality together. We would love to return again—thank you very much in advance when we do. We sincerely wish you continued prosperity going forward.

This was my long-awaited trip to Huis Ten Bosch. I considered staying at one of the official Hotels inside the park, but chose this Hotel for its extensive Facilities, the large number of positive Reviews, and the reassurance of the Okura brand. Even before arriving at the main entrance by car, I was overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the building’s exterior. The stunning stepped atrium from the 1st to 3rd floors also set an exciting tone for a truly luxurious stay. The female bell staff member was exceptionally polite and kind, saying, “We’ll take your luggage up via a separate elevator, so please go ahead to your Room.” When I entered, there was an adorable teddy bear on the table by the window. The message card read, “Happy Birthday,” and since it was my birthday month, it was such a delightful surprise! She also wished me a happy birthday in person, which really moved me. From my Room we could see not only Huis Ten Bosch but also views out to open water—an amazing panorama. It was during the Obon holiday period so there must have been many guests staying, yet thanks to how spacious the Hotel is overall, it never felt crowded. Above all else, every staff member’s attentive service stood out. I’ve stayed at many Hotels and usually find something to complain about somewhere—but this time there wasn’t a single issue, and I enjoyed every moment in complete comfort. While this is clearly a Hotel designed with visits to Huis Ten Bosch in mind, once you cross the bridge there’s also a JR station (remarkably close to the waterfront), so on day two we took the train and went as far as Sasebo. It’s also very useful as a base for sightseeing in Nagasaki City or Sasebo. The breakfast buffet had an excellent variety with plenty of both Japanese and Western options—I ended up eating far too much. This was my first time visiting Nagasaki and Huis Ten Bosch, and it became an unforgettable trip full of wonderful memories. Next time I’d love to stay longer—this truly is an outstanding Hotel. I was able to stay at a very reasonable price. I also stayed on June 26 with a breakfast-included Plan, but it ended up being No Meals Included; this time it was ¥4,000 cheaper than then. The Room had a separate bath and toilet. I checked in at 3:00 PM and was able to relax until 10:30 AM. Since I knew the area from my previous stay, I had breakfast at Akita Citizens’ Market and then headed to my next destination.

Before booking, I had a few questions, so I called the hotel and then made my reservation. The staff member on the phone was very polite and accurate, which gave me confidence to book, and this was my first stay. When I arrived, the parking lot was full, but they kindly directed me to a nearby parking area. At the front desk, I told the staff it was my first time and that I didn’t know how things worked, and they explained everything carefully. Although it was a weekday stay, there were many families with children. I wanted a hotel with a separate bath and toilet and a bathtub; even though I stayed alone, the bathroom had a chair and wash basin, and the shower head settings could be changed with a button, which made it very comfortable. It was clean, convenient, reasonably priced, and I was very satisfied. I have already booked another stay in November as well—thank you in advance for your continued hospitality.
