I stayed in an assigned Queen Room. The Room was compact, but the high ceiling made it feel open and not cramped. The bed was queen-size, and both the mattress and especially the pillows were very comfortable, so I slept soundly. There was no bathtub, but there were three shower settings with strong water pressure, and everything felt clean—more than enough for a one-night stay. I made a Reservation during a sale thinking it would be just for sleeping, but overall the property felt new and very clean, and I was extremely satisfied with the value for the price.

It was close to Hiroshima Station, and the open-air bath was wonderful. When we stay in Hiroshima again, we’d love to come back. My wife was very happy too.

I stayed here for two days while attending an event in Mitoyo. The location was close and convenient. There was a convenience store nearby, and the free, spacious ground-level parking lot was a big plus. I like Route Inn because you can enjoy a large public bath. Breakfast was also very tasty and satisfying. I would stay here again.

We visited with children, and the staff helped carry our luggage, arranged an early time slot for the private bath, and prepared an adorable kids’ meal. They checked in on us in many situations, and it was a warm Accommodation where we truly felt their thoughtful hospitality. The meals were delicious, and we were especially satisfied with the sea bream dishes at both breakfast and dinner.

This time, I stayed in a corner Room (Type C) on the top floor (4th floor). Because it was a semi-open-air bath with 24-hour circulation, I could use it anytime without the hassle of filling the tub, which was great. I chose a Plan without meals, so I stocked up at a local supermarket before arriving, but the selection of frozen foods and boxed meals there was limited and overpriced—I wish I had shopped at Don Quijote across from Marine Town instead. The check-in process at the Accommodation is a bit unfriendly and may be confusing for first-time guests. You open the sliding window by the stairs on the 1st floor and operate via a touch-panel monitor, but you need to enter your Reservation Number or QR code. You also need to enter information for accompanying guests along with the Reserver’s details, so it would be better if this were explained in advance in the Reservation instructions. It also would have helped to know beforehand that you must pay a Hot Spring Tax of 300 yen per person at check-in. *Depending on the booking site, this information may have been provided. The Room was very clean, and unlike typical hotels, there are plenty of power outlets—so charging devices shouldn’t be an issue. There are also outlets by the bedside (upper area) along with lighting, which is convenient if you charge your phone while sleeping. Free Wi-Fi was available; with three other guest groups (judging by the number of cars in the parking lot), speeds were reasonably good. Getting to the Accommodation may take some effort due to rough road conditions. If you take the road marked “No entry except Minori Village personnel,” it works as a shortcut and you can reach it without problems; however, if you simply follow GPS directions, you may end up on narrow roads and taking a longer route—so checking in advance is recommended. If you’re lucky with other guests, it’s quiet and ideal for relaxing indoors at your own pace. If that concept suits you, I think it’s an excellent Accommodation.

Because there was availability, I was able to stay on the ladies-only floor. Both the room and the women’s bath had ReFa hair dryers. The numbering for Ikebukuro Station’s underground exits was hard to understand, and since the Hotel has two entrances, I got a little lost at first. However, when I went out after check-in, I realized that a subway exit is right next to one of the entrances.

This was my first time staying here. The front desk staff kindly explained everything, so I felt at ease throughout my stay. The amenities were well stocked, which was great. Inside the container house, it does shake a bit if you move around too much, which I noticed, but otherwise it was surprisingly quiet and I was able to relax. Having light snacks available was also very helpful. I would love to stay again in the future. Thank you for your hospitality.

The Onsen was wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were welcoming and attentive. My friend and I said we’d like to come again. The Room was spacious, and the view from the window was great. We were satisfied with everything.

Even my partner, who is picky about food, was very satisfied. The portions were just right. I’d happily return just for the meals.

It was clean, and there were no issues with the Room. Amenities are the type you bring up yourself as needed. I would be happy to stay again if I have the opportunity.

We stayed here to celebrate our dog’s 3rd birthday. Although the room was a bit old, there were no unpleasant odors and we were able to relax comfortably. The meals were buffet-style with a wide variety of dishes, including options for dogs, so both we and our pet were very satisfied. Best of all, every staff member clearly loves dogs and treated us with kindness and care. Thank you very much. We will stay again next time.

The Facility and bedding are clean, and the staff are very helpful. They kindly accommodated our additional requests, which allowed us to enjoy a very satisfying stay.

We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of 2 nights and 3 days. We arrived at Shin-Urayasu Station at 9:30 PM and were worried whether the local bus would still be running, but we were able to get on right away. It took about five minutes, and the Hotel was very close to the stop, so getting there was extremely easy. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were very helpful. Amenities and pajamas were available near the front desk, and everything we needed was provided, which was a big help. Our Room was a triple, but it didn’t feel too cramped; it was well cleaned and comfortable. We also appreciated having separate bath and toilet areas. Breakfast had a smaller selection, but there were many items that made us want to try them, and everything tasted great—we were very satisfied. They happened to be holding a strawberry fair as well, so our child was happy to enjoy plenty of strawberries. We especially liked the fun options such as cotton candy, chocolate fondue, and make-your-own waffles. We only visited DisneySea, but using the shuttle bus both ways made it very convenient. With how easy it was to get from the station to the Hotel, how comfortable the Room was, and how good the value felt overall, we’d love to stay again in the future.

I have been staying at Comfort Hotel Hiroshima Otemachi for over 20 years. The room was kept very clean, the breakfast was just right, and I was able to relax. I would like to stay here again during the Flower Festival next year.

As last year, you kindly prepared a train-view Room as requested, and my son was absolutely delighted (he was thrilled to see the Meitetsu trains from the hallway as well). The Hotel is conveniently located near the station, and breakfast offered a good variety. Although there is no large public bath Facility, we found it comfortable and had a pleasant stay. I love the calm atmosphere of Tateshina Tokyu Hotel and have stayed here several times. Its setting in the forest, the dignified yet unpretentious interiors, and the quiet time you can spend here offer a charm that is hard to find at other hotels. This time was no different, and it reminded me again how much I like this hotel. Also, though it’s a small thing, I really like the toothbrushes in the guest rooms. They’re comfortable to use, and I can feel the hotel’s thoughtfulness even in these details. I hope you will continue with the current ones. On the other hand, precisely because I’ve been coming for many years, there are a few things that disappointed me. The biggest one is that Japanese dinner has been discontinued since this year. On a Multiple Night Stay, we used to enjoy being able to choose “Western tonight, Japanese tomorrow” within the hotel itself. Especially for us—who prefer not to drive once we arrive and instead relax in the forest or inside—the option was very important. French cuisine certainly has its appeal, but having Western meals both nights makes it feel like a slightly different hotel than before. I would be happy if Japanese dinner becomes an option again someday. I was also sorry to hear that the garden pool, long loved by guests, has ended operations starting this year. I understand it was due to aging facilities (Facility), but combined with the end of Japanese dinner options (Facility), it feels as though some of what made Tateshina Tokyu special is gradually disappearing. One more thing I would love to see enhanced is the in-house library collection (Facility). This is such a quiet Hotel where you can relax while looking out at the forest—perfect for reading. The current selection feels lacking not so much in quantity as in curation quality. If there were more books that you’d want to pick up specifically because you came to Tateshina—on Shinshu’s nature and culture, mountains, architecture, travel writing, literature—it would make time spent at this Hotel even richer. I’m not asking for new facilities or services one after another. Rather, I hope you will continue cherishing and preserving what makes this Hotel unique. These comments come from someone who truly likes this Hotel—and I hope to keep visiting for many years to come.

All the meals were delicious, and the portions were just right. The staff provided excellent service, and we were very satisfied with the bath in the Room, which we could use at our convenience.

I’d been curious about the fruit sandwiches here for a while, and by staying this time I finally got to try them. Breakfast was buffet-style, with a great variety of both Japanese and Western dishes, which I really enjoyed. Everything I tried was delicious. The fruit sandwiches were excellent too—the cream was lightly sweetened, and the fruit was fresh and tasty. There were also smoothies and green juice, so the drink selection felt well stocked. The location was great: quiet yet convenient for shopping, which I loved. The amenities were SEKKISEI, which was a nice touch. The shampoo had a sweet almond scent that felt very relaxing.

Because I made the Reservation at the last minute, only a larger Room was available, so I booked that one. It was a bit expensive, but I was satisfied with the Room. The Hotel itself is a little old, but it has been renovated and improved in various ways. The meals were well thought out and I was pleased. I would like to visit again when I have the chance.

The property is very close to the station and easy to find. There are many places to eat nearby, making it very convenient and highly recommended. The Room was relatively spacious, so we could relax comfortably even with our suitcases open. Both the interior and the Facility were clean and well equipped, making our stay very comfortable. The hair dryer worked great. We were also able to borrow a hair iron at the front desk. The loungewear with Hikonyan embroidery was very cute. All of the front desk staff were very kind and helpful. It was a big help that they could store our luggage even after check-out. Thanks to you, we had a comfortable trip—thank you very much. Next time, we would like to book meals as well.
