I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. The Facility is new and spotless, and the bathroom and bathtub are properly spacious. The Room layout is also well designed—the door isn’t directly visible from the desk, so I could work calmly. Breakfast was high quality too, and the meat soup was delicious! They also served excellent fruit, and at this price with breakfast included, I’m very satisfied. It’s a Business Hotel that could easily feel impersonal, but I discovered some great books at the library café at night, and the staff’s posted recommendations for local restaurants felt warm and welcoming. I often stay at Hotels that cost JPY 20,000–30,000 per night, but this place is more than good enough.

I understand you are now in your 18th generation—when it comes to Onsen Accommodations, nothing compares to a long-established inn. Of course, both the large public bath and the in-Room bath are fed directly from the source with free-flowing spring water. The staff were exceptionally attentive—so much so that we almost felt apologetic for receiving such kindness. Above all, the dining was outstanding, far beyond anything we had imagined. The tableware was also beautiful throughout, including pieces inspired by Rosanjin’s works, making each meal a delight not only for the palate but also for the eyes. The Kaga cuisine was delicately seasoned yet deeply flavorful. Everything was immaculately cleaned, and the view from the window was truly soothing. While preserving the charm of this historic inn, the property has been beautifully renewed with touches of contemporary art woven in seamlessly. Naturally, many Rosanjin works are displayed throughout the building as well, and they were well worth seeing. I also suspect many guests may not notice this—but in the lobby, Rooms, and bathing areas: there are countless chairs everywhere, and most appear to be high-end pieces. I can only imagine how much has been invested overall; especially the chair inside the elevator must be quite expensive. Even details like lighting and clocks have clearly been chosen with great care. We visited with very high expectations for an Onsen Accommodation, yet everything surpassed them by a wide margin—truly impressive. We would love to return again soon.

As it’s a KDDI training Facility, I didn’t expect much, but it was spacious and clean, the food was delicious, and I liked it so much I could have lived there. It does feel more like a training Facility than a Hotel, but the generously designed guest rooms and minimalist interior were wonderful. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a large park as well, so we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves with our child. In terms of the Hotel facilities, I really appreciated being able to use the washing machine and dryer for free. I misunderstood the breakfast hours and arrived at the café 10 minutes before closing, so I could hardly eat anything, but all of the dishes looked delicious. I’d love to stay here again when visiting Puroland.

I have stayed at this Hotel many times since it opened. It’s a favorite of mine, packed with charm. The interior features abundant Hida-sourced wood, creating a calm atmosphere where warmth and luxury are beautifully balanced. Whether in the lobby or the guest Rooms, it’s comfortable everywhere. The Onsen is also outstanding, with blue mosaic tiles in the baths. They are not only visually beautiful but also pleasant to the touch, making it easy to truly unwind. There is an additional fee, but I especially recommend the private bath with a spacious deck—an indulgent experience in a fully private setting. Above all, my greatest pleasure here is dinner. This time, Perla caviar was served as an amuse-bouche—presented in the tin—which genuinely surprised me with its extravagance. From there, the course continued with spear squid, lobster, and Hida beef; every dish showcased superb ingredients along with the chef’s skill and sense of style. Each plate was moving in its own way—it was simply a wonderful time. The breakfast buffet is equally impressive. From local Takayama specialties to salmon marinade and their signature Hida beef curry, everything is so well executed that it hardly feels like typical Hotel breakfast—I was completely satisfied from the morning. Most memorable of all is the hospitality of the staff. Not only do they respond kindly and attentively whenever you need help, they also greet even casual travel conversations with warm smiles that make you feel truly welcome. If you stay here, I encourage you to chat with them—you’ll appreciate this Hotel even more. Room quality, Onsen, dining, and service—few Hotels deliver such a high level across every aspect. And despite that excellence, the Accommodation Fee is surprisingly reasonable; considering what you receive, the value for money is exceptional. For me, it’s one of my absolute favorite Hotels in Japan—one I will happily return to again and again.

It might be the perfect base for getting around. It’s not the best value for money, but even taking that into account, I think it deserves a high rating. Breakfast only offered Matsuyama-style sea bream rice; it would have been nice to have more options.

I stay here every time I come back home. The bath and breakfast are just right—always satisfying and relaxing. I’ll continue to stay here in the future.

The views from the window—an unmanned station and the sea—were beautiful, and we were able to relax at a leisurely pace. Every dish was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the crab and shrimp. The Accommodation was quiet throughout, with a soothing atmosphere that made time feel as if it were gently passing by, allowing us to forget everyday life and truly unwind. It’s an Accommodation I’d love to visit again in a different season.

On a whim, I decided to visit Himeji Castle and made a Reservation. Maybe because it was a weekday, I was able to stay at a very reasonable price. I booked a single Room, but it turned out to be a twin, so there was plenty of space and I could relax comfortably. The complimentary pillows you can borrow were especially great. The bed firmness was just right, and I slept soundly stretched out. I’m picky about pillows and use an expensive one at home, but this was even more comfortable than sleeping in my own bed. The tea bags available next to the front desk also had a wide selection—I tried rooibos and jasmine tea, and both were delicious. The bathroom was a bit small, but it was clean and well maintained. The staff were also very courteous. I’d like to stay here again if I have the chance. By the way, Himeji Castle is on the opposite side of the station from the Hotel, so you can’t see it from the Hotel.

The location is excellent, which makes shopping and dining very convenient. Today I came back around 3:00 PM and took a break in the lounge. There were also families with small children, but the parents properly reminded them even if they got loud, so it wasn’t as noisy as last night. When I entered the Room, it had been cleaned beautifully again today, and the amenities were neatly arranged. The woman I met near the elevator and the woman who kindly carried my paper bag—everyone not only cleans thoroughly but also greets guests with a smile, which really lifts my mood. It’s a small thing, but it’s also nice that the elevator arrives quickly.

Check-in is automated, and you need to pick up amenities from the front desk, but staff are always there to assist with check-in, and security feels very solid. The tea, coffee, and toothbrush amenities were on par with a luxury Hotel. The Room was also very comfortable for working: the desk and functional designer chair were great, plus there was a separate sofa and mini table, and plenty of power outlets. There are four wall-mounted hangers which is convenient, but there is no closet, so it may not suit guests with lots of clothes. A carry-on suitcase fit easily by the bedside. You can see the Hotel from the Shinkansen exit, and although the subway entrance has stairs, it’s right in front of the Hotel—very convenient. I’d like to stay again.

This was my first stay here. Because it’s a little away from the busy area, the surroundings were quiet. Still, it was very convenient—about a 5-minute walk to Sannomiya Station. Arriving by car was a bit confusing due to one-way streets (haha). The Hotel parking lot was full, but I was able to park at a nearby flat parking lot right away, which was also convenient. The Hotel and its Facility were very clean. The Room was clean as well. Two things stood out: there was heavy limescale around the sink overflow, and since it’s right in sight, it felt disappointing. When I tried rubbing it lightly, it came off easily (haha), so I hope this can be addressed. The other issue was that when I lifted the bed runner, I found several short white hairs. Hair is surprisingly noticeable, and I think many guests would be concerned too—not just me. This Hotel also has a large public bath. Since I went for a morning run, being able to use the bath afterward felt great. One more thing: the Room TV shows how crowded the public bath is supposed to be, but in the morning it displayed “crowded.” I hesitated but decided to go anyway—and no one was there. It didn’t seem to be real-time information. I’ve mentioned several points, but overall I think this is a very good Hotel. If I visit Kobe again, I’d like to stay here again.

I really appreciated that the Room was ready before check-in and I was able to enter early. Since it was a single Room, it felt small and a bit dated, but the bathroom was new, clean, and very comfortable to use. I was slightly concerned that the Wi-Fi connection was unstable. The location was convenient, and it was a warm and refined Hotel unlike chain Hotels, making my stay very comfortable. The French toast at breakfast was also very delicious. The front desk staff were helpful as well. I will stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay. I accidentally arrived at Glover Garden, so I called the Hotel and they kindly helped me. When I entered, they greeted me very politely: “Were you the one who called earlier? We’ve been waiting for you—you arrived sooner than we expected.” After that, every staff member continued to treat me with warm hospitality. That alone made me feel glad I chose this Hotel. In the lobby there are two counters—one open until 10:30 p.m. and another available all day—where you can enjoy as many drinks and snacks as you like. Since I arrived late, I do regret not getting there earlier so I could have tried more from the limited-time counter. The braised pork and chocolate were delicious; there was plenty of braised pork left, so if I hadn’t eaten too much at my dinner gathering, I could have finished it all… maybe next time. Still, the all-day counter was more than enough to enjoy. The lounge also has a great selection of books, so I stayed up a bit reading while enjoying tea and sweets from the all-day counter. It was such a relaxing time. Breakfast in a steamer basket was comforting and delicious as well—the yuzu miso was especially amazing. They also had loquat and mandarin drinks. I expected them to be sweet, but they tasted properly like tea with just a subtle hint of flavor. Personally (with my sweet tooth), the mandarin juice added to the all-day counter in the morning was particularly tasty. There is no Onsen (as expected), and while this is clear if you check in advance, toothbrushes are not provided for sustainability reasons. However, there’s a convenience store about 50 meters away from the Hotel, so it wasn’t inconvenient at all. I’ll definitely come again! Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

I’ve stayed here many times, and it’s always a clean, easy-to-use Hotel. The moment I arrived at my Room, I couldn’t help saying out loud, “Dormy Inn really is great,” and felt relieved. My friend who came with me felt the same way. There are so many good points: how practical the Room is, the spacious desk and sink area, the brightness, the large public bath Onsen, having all the necessary amenities, and breakfast with a wide variety of delicious options served in small dishes that are easy to pick up. The only disappointing thing this time was that the coffee didn’t taste good. Also, the door to the women’s public bath was left open. I would appreciate it if you could improve these two points. The food was delicious, and I ended up drinking a bit too much for the first time in a while. The bath was just the right size, and I could relax comfortably and warm up thoroughly. The Room was cleaned carefully, and the toilet was kept very clean, making for a very pleasant stay. I would like to stay again. *The weather was quite cloudy and not ideal for seeing Mt. Fuji, but the clouds cleared briefly and we were able to see it.*

There are two APA Hotels near Fukushima Station, and I chose this Hotel because it has a large public bath. The downtown area is on the East Exit side, but I used a major family restaurant on the West Exit side and did not find it inconvenient (there is also an underground passage to the East Exit). I also could not hear any train noise and had a comfortable stay.

I had visited before for a day trip, but this was my first overnight stay, fully expecting peak Obon pricing. Since it’s an Onsen Ryokan, I assumed the guest rooms would be Japanese-style, but unlike the shared areas with samurai armor and other traditional touches, my Room was a stylish and relaxing Western-style space. I also appreciated the in-room coffee machine service. Above all, the baths were outstanding. The alkaline water left my skin feeling wonderfully smooth. There were three beautiful private baths, and after 9:00 p.m. they could be used freely without a Reservation. Perhaps because many families with children were staying, it was quiet late at night—so I tried them all. Including the large public bath, every bath was at just the right temperature; no matter how many times I soaked, I never felt overheated or unwell, and I truly enjoyed Onsen to the fullest. There are several Accommodation options in Nakagawa Onsen, but when it comes to bath management—including temperature control and cleanliness—I feel an Onsen Ryokan is still the best. We also enjoyed table tennis, and even after checkout they kindly let us use the large public bath area as a place to change after playing in the river. They were also very flexible and extremely kind regarding Shuttle Service arrangements and other requests. Thank you very much.

My spouse and I stayed in a special Room with a private bath. The moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the breathtaking natural scenery filling the windows and the view of the Kurobe River. In addition to the large public bath and open-air bath, the open-air bath in our Room was also fed directly from the source, with fresh Onsen water continuously flowing. The temperature and water quality were excellent—so soothing that we wanted to soak again and again. Another highlight was that plenty of bath towels were available at both the large public bath and the open-air bath, making it comfortable no matter how many times we bathed. The meals felt less like experimental cuisine and more like carefully prepared Japanese dishes done right—simple, thoughtful, and beautifully finished one by one. The portions were just right, never overwhelming, and everything was delicious through to the end. The staff’s service was also perfect—not too close or too distant—and they spoke to us naturally at just the right moments, allowing us to relax without feeling any pressure. The Onsen, food, views, and hospitality—all of it lived up to its reputation. Thank you very much.
