I had previously visited for a day trip to the Onsen and loved both the Onsen and the scenery, so I decided to stay overnight. The meals were excellent, the view from the Room was wonderful, and my stay was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the outdoor bath in the morning was so cold that it hardly felt like an Onsen.\n\nAs it is currently off-season, there was no shuttle bus on weekdays, which made things difficult. Even one round-trip Shuttle Service would be very helpful.

I stayed here mainly for the breakfast. Since it’s a sushi restaurant, I was surprised to be served octopus sashimi, and I was very satisfied. I’d like to stay again. If you’re staying here, I recommend choosing the Plan with breakfast included.

They kindly stored my luggage before check-in, which was a huge help. The front desk staff were very courteous, and both the Room and the unit bath were clean, so I had a very comfortable stay. When I visit Kyoto again, I’d love to stay here again. Thank you!

Next door is Sabakoyu, and across the street is the historic Nakamura Ryokan. At night, we enjoyed an in-room meal, then were moved by the owner’s shamisen performance and kouta songs. In the morning, the sunrise glowed through the shoji screens; when we opened them, we found a perfect location. The steam rising from the ohitsu rice at breakfast whetted our appetite even more. We were seen off by the proprietress and owner—hospitality that makes us certain to return.

I was looking for a place around Kitahama and chose this Hotel because it was affordable. The location was convenient, and the Hotel was just as comfortable as other Business Hotels, which I really appreciated. Since I checked in late, the process was handled over the phone, so I was a little confused at first... But I’d definitely like to stay here again when I’m in Osaka City.

We stayed for three nights during the New Year holiday for skiing. The bath operates on a time-sharing system, allowing families to relax together. The large bathtub was perfect for warming up our tired and cold bodies. The meals offered a wide variety of dishes, and both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. The staff kindly accommodated even our small requests, which was very helpful. Thanks to this, we had an incredibly enjoyable ski trip. Thank you so much! The ski resort is a bit far on foot, so traveling by rental car was more convenient.

The Facilities are old, but everything is well cleaned, and the price is affordable, making this Hotel a great choice for solo travelers or business trips. It is conveniently located within walking distance of a supermarket, gas station, restaurants, and bento shops.

The air conditioning was already on when we arrived, so we were able to stay comfortably!

On May 17, I stayed at the culinary Ryokan Ueto. That day, I was lucky enough to have the place entirely to myself, and I’m truly grateful. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by the proprietress and immediately felt it was a calm, lovely place. Unlike a Hotel, there is no elevator, so I carried my luggage up to my Room on the third floor. It’s a small but comfortable Room. The bath was also private—having the entire Ryokan reserved felt incredibly lucky. The water is on the hot side, but it was very relaxing, and then came dinner. Dinner was a full-course tofu meal. Dish after dish arrived; everything was delicious, and I ended up eating too much until I was completely full. (There is more than enough food to finish.) A peaceful day passed, and after enjoying breakfast, I found this Ryokan wonderfully homey. It was an overnight stay filled with thoughtful hospitality that I deeply appreciated. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. Culinary Ryokan Ueto—thank you very much for taking such good care of me. Thank you.

The Room, toilet, and bathroom were clean, making for a comfortable stay at the Hotel. Having separate toilet and bathroom facilities is convenient. If I may add, having a washbasin or bucket in the bathroom would make it feel more like home. The front desk staff were kind and provided clear and polite explanations.

After getting off the expressway and driving through town, we arrived while watching people fishing for ayu in the Oi River flowing alongside the road. At reception, we paid the Accommodation Tax and the dog fee in cash, then moved to our Room. The owner kindly explained how to use everything in detail. It’s a small but beautifully renovated riverside one-story private rental house, and this time we chose the bring-your-own-ingredients BBQ plan. The Accommodation also has a resident Shiba Inu “greeter” and a gorgeous cat who welcomed us—the cat even walked with us to our door. The kitchen was fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, electric kettle, dishes, pots, and cutlery, so all we needed to bring were seasonings and ingredients. For dogs, they provided a crate, toilet tray, pee pads, deodorizing spray, lint roller (sticky cleaner), and water bowl—so as long as you bring food for your dog(s), you’re all set. You can park right in front of the house, which made unloading luggage easy. We changed into swimsuits and headed to the river right in front of the Room with our two dogs. The high that day was 26°C (30°C in Osaka), so it felt a bit chilly for swimming; our dogs started shivering so we went back inside pretty quickly. We’d love to try again next year. In the evening we had a BBQ in the garden. The staff handled both lighting the fire and cleaning up afterward, which was very reassuring. There aren’t any tourist spots or shops nearby around this Accommodation, but it’s quiet with no traffic—just relaxing sounds of the river and evening cicadas. Thank you very much! Looking forward to staying again next month.

The place was very spacious, and the kids could relax and play freely. It’s an older house, but it was thoroughly cleaned—everything was spotless, comfortable, and pleasant. The amenities were well stocked, and I was surprised they even had phone chargers. There were lots of board games, which the kids absolutely loved. Because it’s a large house, it felt chilly in the mornings and evenings, but a fan heater was provided so we had no trouble. The kitchen had everything from cooking utensils to tableware, and we could use the drum-style washing machine as much as we wanted (detergent provided). It was an Accommodation with truly thoughtful touches throughout. We’d love to stay again.

This Hotel is highly recommended for anyone considering a stay around Lake Yamanaka near Mt. Fuji. What I appreciated most was the free Shuttle Service from the Fujisan-Yamanakako bus stop to the Hotel. It is available between 15:00 and 17:00, and being taken directly to the Hotel after getting off the bus made me feel very comfortable even on my first visit. If you plan to use it, be sure to make a Reservation in advance online or by phone. The location is also excellent, and Rooms on the Mt. Fuji side offer a stunning view of Mt. Fuji right from the window—truly a highlight. Being able to relax in your Room while enjoying that view feels special. All of the staff were very kind, and it was impressive how attentive and pleasant everyone was, regardless of nationality. The overall atmosphere was warm, and I felt at ease throughout my stay. Before staying, I had seen in a Review that “the shower room is a bit small,” which made me slightly concerned, but in reality it was a unit-bath style setup and personally felt like an appropriate size. It was easier to use than I expected, with no inconvenience at all. I also added meals on-site, and the eel course was excellent—I was very satisfied. There were plenty of dishes included, which was especially enjoyable for an eel lover like me. With great views, location, service, and dining all well balanced, this is a Hotel I would happily choose again.

The meal plan is incredibly affordable with two meals included for one night. At this price, the quality leaves nothing to complain about. It almost makes me worry about how they can stay in business. The building itself is old, but it’s kept very clean, and the Onsen is excellent. It’s great to be able to relax after dinner with friends or family in your Room with drinks. Next time, I’d like to come alone and take it easy. I stayed with a coworker, and they said they’d like to stay here again on a family trip.

It was new and very clean, which was great. We were happy that two face towels per person were provided. My wife said the security for the women’s large public bath was excellent. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and would like to use it again if we have the opportunity.

Thank you very much for today. This was, without a doubt, the best glamping Accommodation we have ever stayed at. First, the Room was very spacious, spotless in every corner, and extremely comfortable. What impressed me most was the bath. The jacuzzi bath was amazing, and amenities like ReFa shampoo and a hair dryer were provided as well—I could really feel the attention to detail. We were also completely satisfied with the meals. There was an incredible amount of food—meat, rice, rainbow trout, vegetables, and more—and it was the most generous portion size we’ve ever had at any BBQ facility. I’m honestly disappointed that we could only finish about half of the meat and rice because there was just so much. It truly felt luxurious and exceeded our expectations. Outside the Room there was a hammock that was wonderfully relaxing. Also, the barrel sauna—my first time trying one—was available 24 hours a day. Going back and forth between the sauna, the jacuzzi bath in our Room, and the hammock allowed us to enjoy an incredibly indulgent time. Within the Facility there were many activities for both adults and children—hands-on athletic courses like zip lines, a fishing pond, vegetable harvesting experiences, and more. It was so fulfilling that we didn’t have enough time to do everything. At the premium lounge, we could freely enjoy alcohol, soft drinks, snacks, and more—which made us very happy. Breakfast was excellent as well. Not only was everything delicious; even the tableware—including bowls—was beautiful and showed great care in every detail. It was my first time enjoying a breakfast where even the dishes themselves were part of what made it special. Above all else, what moved me most was how wonderful all of your staff were. In particular one female staff member greeted us with a smile throughout our stay and kindly answered all of our questions. Also when we accidentally booked/mistook our Room due to our own Reservation mistake (and ended up with another Room), you kindly changed it for us without hesitation—we are truly grateful. The Room(s), meals/food/dining experience , Onsen & sauna , activities , lounge , staff hospitality —everything about this place is outstanding . This is an Accommodation that genuinely made us think: “We will definitely come again.” It’s a bit far from Tokyo or other parts of Kanto; however it’s absolutely worth traveling specifically to visit . I would highly recommend it not only to travelers from Tohoku but also those coming from Kanto Kansai Kyushu—and even from overseas . The cost performance/value for money is truly exceptional ; this is easily one of those places where you can sincerely say “I’m so glad we came.” We will definitely return . Thank you very much .

The Facility isn’t particularly new, but it has two large public baths and was very comfortable. The Room our family stayed in was quite spacious, and the kids were thrilled. There is no toilet in the Room, but it was just outside and very close. Since it’s not an in-room toilet, we can’t bring a towel every time, so it would be helpful if disposable paper towels for drying hands were available in the restroom. One strange thing: the TV turned on several times even though we hadn’t touched the remote. When it suddenly turned on in the middle of the night while we were sleeping, it woke us up.

We stayed as a family with our 3-year-old and 1-year-old grandchildren. Dinner featured an abundant selection of seafood, all fresh and delicious, and both my wife and daughter were very satisfied. Being able to enjoy the meal at a relaxed pace in our Room helped the children stay calm, and we were able to spend unhurried time together as a family. In addition, we are truly grateful to the staff member who was very kind to the children and proactively supported us. Thanks to that, we felt at ease throughout our stay. This Accommodation is highly recommended for families. *There are rental bicycles near the Accommodation, and it was also a wonderful memory being able to cycle down to the seaside in the morning to take photos. We enjoyed quiet Kamakura in the early morning—it was such a refreshing time.* Thank you very much.

We stayed here again for our dog’s 9th birthday—our first return visit in three years. The location is truly excellent: the sandy beach just a short walk away feels like a completely private beach at this time of year, and strolling along the shoreline at sunset lets you enjoy an extraordinary escape from everyday life. During our evening BBQ, we were also able to take in a sky full of stars that we didn’t get to see last time. It was only for one night again, but thank you for providing another wonderful place to make special memories with our dog!

The best points were that there were five parking spaces right in front of the Hotel available for 700 yen per day, it was close to the station, and the Room was spacious. A few disappointing points were that there was no power outlet by the pillow, there was no bidet toilet seat, and I would have liked coffee (green tea was provided). Overall, it is an older Hotel, but it felt clean and I could stay at a reasonable price, so I had a good impression.
