Although it is located in Kitanagase, away from the city center, parking is free, so it’s not an issue if you have a car. There is a convenience store next door, making shopping easy. The Facility is well maintained. The Room was spacious and had a full-size home refrigerator, which was convenient for freezing ice packs. Perhaps because it gets plenty of sunlight, the air conditioner did not cool as well at certain times during summer, so some adjustment may be needed. For stays of multiple nights, there is also a washing machine, so I would like to use it again.

Great value for money and a convenient location. It’s not far from the Yui Rail station, parking is free, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby—no complaints at all. I’d definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Okinawa.

We stayed as a family of five. Since the Room rate was low, we didn’t expect much in terms of cleaning, but it was very clean. It was great to have a vending machine outside and on-site parking. There’s an affordable supermarket just a short walk away, there were plenty of Ubers available, and we had no issues with the location. There was more than enough space just for sleeping; I think even nine people could sleep comfortably. The spacious kitchen was also a plus. Small but appreciated touches included ice in the freezer, and the disposable toothbrushes were soft and felt higher quality—much easier to use than cheap ones. There were also two hair dryers, plus both a straightening iron and a curling iron. Overall, it felt like better value than the price.

I stayed in early March. The Accommodation had a wonderful atmosphere, and the Room was very lovely. Amenities and services (usage guidance, drinks, breakfast, etc.) were well provided, so I didn’t need to bring much luggage. The walls were thin and I could hear things like sneezing from the floor above (it was very windy and the pollen was intense), but I had read the notes at the time of Reservation, so it didn’t bother me. However, because the walls and windows are thin, I personally felt quite cold. Blankets were available at the Accommodation, but if you are sensitive to cold, it may be best to dress warmly. The location is also convenient—close to Seibu-Chichibu Station and Ohanabatake Station—and you can enjoy street food along Banya Street, so I recommend staying here if you plan to explore the area. I would like to stay again if I have another opportunity.

Everything was excellent. I’d love to stay again, but unfortunately I don’t have any reason to visit Yamagata.

I stayed for two nights during a motorcycle touring trip. The staff were very accommodating, making my stay extremely comfortable. I was pleased to find the motorcycle parking area under a roof. The location is very convenient, with the station and downtown area within walking distance.

It felt like staying at my grandparents’ country home. Though old, it had a TV and Wi‑Fi. The bath even had a Kerorin wash bucket. It had a charming, nostalgic atmosphere.

Thank you for providing excellent service. The house was clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped, which made our stay very satisfying. Fruits and bread were provided, allowing us to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Above all, the handwritten message added a warm and personal touch. We would love to stay again if we have the opportunity.

A charming, nostalgic Showa-era Accommodation. I stayed here on the way back from Kamikochi with a foreign friend who wanted to experience a traditional Japanese Accommodation, and this place was perfect. My friend was very satisfied. The guest room was quite old, but they appreciated that as part of the charm. The bath had retro tiled walls and featured a fairly hot Onsen, which they enjoyed. The meals were also very delicious.

This was my second stay. This time, I came looking forward to the delicious dinner, determined to finish it all as a personal challenge. I couldn’t finish everything on my first visit and was disappointed, so I made sure to arrive hungry so I could enjoy every dish without leaving anything. For the final unagi rice box, I could choose the amount of rice but went with a regular portion—so once again I felt like I was about to burst. If I come again, I’ll choose a smaller portion! The Room was clean, and it was great that Fukuroda Falls is nearby. The person who came with me said they preferred staying over New Year’s, but I thought both times were wonderful.

This is a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again.

Shuttle service to Animal Kingdom and the station was very convenient. The meals were delicious, and I was able to relax. I really appreciated being able to borrow a USB cable. The customer service was excellent.

A traditional and charming Ryokan. The calm and nostalgic atmosphere (like visiting grandparents' house) brought back childhood memories. There were plenty of manga, and we enjoyed complimentary Yame tea and coffee, spending a relaxing time. The restroom was very clean and comfortable. The family bath was spacious, allowing us to enjoy it at ease. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the open-air bath. Nearby, there is a highly-rated yakiniku restaurant where you can enjoy local meat at reasonable prices—it was fantastic! The owner and his mother were very kind, making our stay incredibly pleasant. Thank you so much! We look forward to staying again in the future!

The view from the window, though across the road, was very beautiful, and the sunrise was stunning. The staff responded kindly to various requests, and during our Multiple Night Stay, it was very comfortable. We also enjoyed a BBQ with ingredients we bought ourselves. I would love to stay here again! As a side note, if you stay here, I highly recommend trying the bread from Bakery Misaki at the nearby Calico Resort for breakfast!

I booked this the day before with breakfast and dinner included because the Accommodation I originally wanted was fully booked, and I wanted to watch the fireworks festival from Sakurajima. It was my first time on Sakurajima, and there’s an abandoned Hotel nearby—when I first drove past, I mistakenly passed by this place too (laugh). Check-in is normally from 3:00 PM, but since I arrived early, I called and was kindly told I could check in from 2:30 PM. After a short walk around the area, I checked in at 2:30 PM. I was also able to reserve the private bath for 3:30 PM, so I relaxed in my Room for a while. About the private bath: if you unlock the seaside door, it connects to the men’s open-air bath area. Also, it shares a wall with the men’s changing area with about a 10 cm gap at the top, so please be cautious about privacy. The Onsen water is extremely hot; there are instructions advising you to pour water over yourself with a bucket to get used to it before entering. Passing beyond both the men’s and women’s baths and heading outside down a short slope, there is also a mixed-gender bath located about 1 meter from the sea. Meals are not served in-room; breakfast and dinner are served at a dining venue past the front desk, and both were very delicious. The Room is a Japanese-style tatami room with futon bedding. The in-room bath is an old-style light-blue unit tub of about 1.2 m square. The toilet feels like a Western-style seat added onto an original squat toilet setup, so it’s quite small. The balcony offers stunning views of Kinko Bay, but due to volcanic ash and being close to the sea, railings and other metal parts are quite rusty. Still, considering how thoughtful the staff were as well as the price overall, I think it’s a very good Hotel. By noon that day when I went to scout Sakurajima Lava Nagisa Park and Yunohira Observatory Deck, many spots were already being held with sheets and camera tripods—so after dinner we drove to the Sakurajima Ferry parking lot, parked there, walked to the pier area instead, sat comfortably at our own pace while watching fireworks—and we were very satisfied.

We stayed as a group of three: two adults and one elementary school boy. As many others have mentioned, the food was absolutely amazing. Even for us, a couple with big appetites, there was so much food that we couldn't finish it all. The fresh sea bream and spiny lobster sashimi were incredibly delicious. The fried shrimp was perfectly crispy with a light batter, served freshly fried. It was even better than the spiny lobster fry we had at a famous lunch spot earlier that day! For breakfast, they kindly made sunny-side-up eggs for me when I mentioned I don't like raw eggs, which was very thoughtful. The owner, hostess, and even their staff (perhaps their daughter?) were all so warm and welcoming. It felt like they truly valued "once-in-a-lifetime encounters." Although the building and facilities are old, everything was sparkling clean, making our stay very comfortable. We were told there wouldn't be a toilet in the room but were pleasantly surprised to find a clean toilet in our room after all. The futons were fluffy and comfortable—perfect for someone like me who has back pain. The bath uses Onsen water that left us feeling warm and relaxed; of course, it was also impeccably clean. If we visit the Ise area again in the future, we would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you for such an enjoyable time!

The day before, we stayed in Takamatsu and traveled for about 5 hours, so we were a bit tired and couldn't visit the lighthouse on the Sadamisaki Peninsula. We stayed as a family of three with my wife and child. We were warmly welcomed by the young hostess and the hostess, who guided us to our room. The room featuring Ebisu holding up a sea bream was very clean, with every corner thoroughly cleaned. The bath was spacious and allowed for a relaxing soak. In the evening, we were greeted by Kintaro the cat before dinner. The Ise lobster served at dinner was incredibly sweet, and we also enjoyed fresh sashimi caught using single-line fishing methods—it was delicious! Everyone was satisfied with the beautifully presented dishes served in exquisite tableware. Breakfast surprised us as it came in an elegant multi-tiered box; it had so many items that it felt like another dinner! We left completely full. On our way back, we stopped at JA's direct sales store in Iyo to purchase 10kg of early-season mikan at a great price. We definitely want to stay here again next time! We're also considering traveling via Kumamoto or taking the ferry route from Saganoseki.

This was my first stay! The biggest disappointment was the musty, moldy smell as soon as I entered the Room. There was also a dead cockroach in the indoor crate area, so I chose not to use it. Dinner was served as a course meal. It was very delicious! I felt sorry for the dog that joined us because it kept whining. With all those aromas, it must have wanted to eat too... Breakfast was also delicious! However, it was disappointing that coffee was served before the meal and didn’t seem to be offered afterward. I had been informed in advance about the scaffolding, so that couldn’t be helped. Having an Onsen in the Room is amazing! You can bathe whenever you like, and there was even a dedicated baby-bath-style “dog bath,” so our dog could try an Onsen for the first time! I just wish I had known about the scaffolding at the time of Reservation (tears).
