The food was exceptionally delicious, and each dish reflected the chef’s dedication and careful craftsmanship. The seasoning and presentation were outstanding, making it a delight for both the eyes and the palate. The high quality of the cuisine left a lasting impression, and it made for a truly satisfying stay.

This was a wonderful inn, just as the reviews said. Although the facilities are old, everything felt clean throughout, and it was very comfortable. The baths in particular were so good that they alone made me want to come back. The view of the Hakuba mountain range from the open-air bath was so soothing that I could have stayed there forever. Soaking in the indoor bath fed by natural hot spring water eased my fatigue, and I slept soundly through the night without waking even once. Breakfast and dinner were buffet-style with Japanese, Western, and Chinese options; not only did they cook beef steak and white shrimp tempura right in front of you, but there were also many dishes thoughtfully prepared using healthy local ingredients, which I really appreciated. I was also impressed by how quick-thinking and pleasant all of the hotel staff were. It’s a hotel I definitely want to visit again.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve been looking for an Accommodation that doesn’t serve meals buffet-style, and we chose Ayameya Ryokan based on its great Reviews. Throughout the property—not only the Room, but also the baths, changing area, and toilets—everything felt impeccably clean. The meals were full of thoughtful touches, such as a creatively arranged chawanmushi and tempura enjoyed with miso. It was quite a generous amount, but it was so delicious that we finished everything. The breakfast rice porridge was also a welcome treat. The Onsen had soft, gentle water, and I was able to soak slowly as if it were a private bath without running into other guests. (The open-air bath felt a little lukewarm for me.) I’d been staying mostly at large Hotels lately, so this time I truly experienced how wonderful a Ryokan can be thanks to the cheerful proprietress and the attentive hospitality of all the staff. It became an unforgettable Onsen trip—simply the best! To the proprietress: please take good care of yourself, and I hope you also get chances to relax and be pampered from time to time.

This was my first stay here. From the moment I arrived at the Hotel, the staff’s hospitality at the entrance was so attentive that it’s impossible to compare with other hotels. When I entered my Room, it was spotless—not a speck of dust—and I was truly impressed by the outstanding skill of the housekeeping team. In the evening, I used in-room dining and had grilled vegetables, soup, and focaccia. Everything was absolutely delicious and genuinely moving. If you stay here, I highly recommend trying in-room dining. This time I booked a Plan with breakfast included, so I enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant on the first floor. There were three options to choose from, and I felt it’s a menu loved by guests of all ages. I traveled here from Tohoku, and it took quite a bit of time and money—but this was an exceptional Hotel that still made me think, “I want to stay here anyway!” Thank you very much for taking such great care of me during my stay.

The necessary amenities were prepared in the room, which was reassuring. The location, twin room, service, Onsen, and breakfast were all comfortable at this Hotel. During our 4-night trip to Eastern Hokkaido, this was the most comfortable stay.

The Room, bath, and bedding were all clean, and everything was comfortable—I was very satisfied. The large public bath also had many different types of baths, which I really enjoyed. The lukewarm bath felt great, the sauna was hot, and it helped me recover from fatigue. There were many great points, but the breakfast was especially delicious—I was truly impressed. The seasoning of each dish, the portion sizes, and the freshness were at a level you rarely come across. I’d love to have it again. Thank you to everyone in the kitchen and restaurant. When I visit Matsuyama again, I will definitely stay here. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

This was a truly wonderful Accommodation—one I’d absolutely love to return to! Both the exterior and interior were beautifully maintained, with tasteful decor and a very comfortable atmosphere. With pet-friendly Accommodations, you can sometimes notice odors in the Room, but that wasn’t the case here at all. The cleaning was impeccable, and everything felt extremely fresh and spotless—you wouldn’t even guess pets are welcome. Because of that, it also made me feel we should be extra mindful of good manners (such as using dog diapers) so everyone can enjoy their stay comfortably. The meals were delicious as well—gently seasoned so you can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and you could tell each dish was prepared with great care. The signature French toast in particular was outstanding! It’s something I highly recommend trying. Above all, the owner’s warm personality made our stay even more special—we were genuinely happy to be welcomed so kindly. Both the indoor bath and outdoor bath were great, and we were able to relax deeply. We had such a pleasant time with our dog; the food was excellent; and the owner was wonderful. It was an incredibly comfortable Accommodation. Thank you very much. We’d love to stay again!

The building itself wasn’t particularly new, but it was very clean, and the bath was at a perfect temperature. Every dish was delicious, and thanks to the well-timed service—bringing dishes and clearing them away—we were able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. If I could make one request, it would be helpful to have numbered clips or something similar at the bath entrance to prevent mix-ups with footwear.

Everything was exceptional from pick-up to send-off. I stayed here after a weekend trek, and upon arrival we were welcomed with a welcome drink, along with a clear and courteous explanation of the Accommodation—brief yet thorough at all the key points. As for dinner, to put it in gourmet terms: “a blissful dining experience woven from artfully presented plates and a refined atmosphere.” In my own words: the ambiance was wonderful, everything was delicious, and I couldn’t wait to see what would come next! The private bath we used after the meal was also perfect—an open-air bath of just the right size, stocked with popular in-bath amenities that were gentle on the skin—so I could truly relax. The futon was very comfortable, and breakfast was healthy and vegetable-focused with delicious rice; the after-meal coffee in the lounge was excellent as well. Thank you for seeing us off so pleasantly at the end. We’ll be back! It really was an amazing weekend.

If you love Onsen, this place is truly heaven—there are 18 private baths. This was my third stay, and I still haven’t managed to try them all. The detached cottage “Aoi” has its own open-air bath, which is absolutely wonderful. I always end up completely satisfied just using the bath in the Room. The spring quality is a simple Onsen (slightly alkaline, hypotonic, high-temperature) with a pH of 8.3. It feels gentle on the skin and is easy to enjoy in a different way from more distinctive springs like sulfur Onsen. It’s comfortable for longer soaks, and being able to enjoy it many times during your stay is part of the appeal. Many of the open-air baths have a rustic, DIY-like feel. Numerous private baths are scattered across the vast grounds, and I can only imagine how much work it must be to maintain and manage so many. Because this Accommodation is surrounded by nature, things like insects and fallen leaves are somewhat unavoidable. In July there were quite a few insects, and when I visited last September I also had trouble with biting gnats. Even so, this Accommodation has more than enough charm to make up for it. The source spring has an abundant flow rate, and the source temperature is very high at 76.1°C. To bring it down to a comfortable temperature, adding water may sometimes be necessary. As an Onsen lover, I’d ideally like to enjoy pure free-flowing water without dilution—but with such a high-temperature source spring, I understand that temperature control can be challenging. Many of the staff are from overseas, but everyone speaks Japanese well and I’ve never felt inconvenienced. They are always polite and attentive. And despite being such a secluded hot-spring retreat, it’s great that the meals are genuinely delicious as well. This time we ordered sukiyaki as an extra dish; it was excellent and very satisfying. In winter this area apparently gets extremely heavy snowfall. Next time I’d love to visit in winter and enjoy an outdoor bath while admiring snowy scenery.

My first time back in Kinosaki Onsen in decades. I wasn’t sure which Accommodation to choose, but “Away from the hustle and bustle” was the deciding factor. Just as the Reviews said, the food was unquestionably delicious, and the tableware and presentation were wonderful. What impressed me most was the attendant who looked after us for both days without change. She always greeted us with a smile, our conversations flowed easily, and she made us feel at home. She also answered our questions about the onsen town accurately, so we could enjoy visiting the public baths with peace of mind. Because we had to leave early for our own reasons, they prepared breakfast outside regular hours, and even drove us to the bus stop in front of Kinosaki Onsen Station. With everyone’s help at this Ryokan, we were able to start our journey home safely. I can’t thank them enough—thank you very much. Her wonderful smile is my best memory from this trip. I would love to stay again.

A calm building nestled in the countryside, a gentle garden of mixed trees, tall windows, and spacious guest rooms and baths enhanced by indirect lighting—everything felt like an escape from everyday life. It’s a quiet place where adults can truly relax at ease. For our first unmanned check-in, it went smoothly after we entered the required information in advance using the email sent shortly before arrival. We made a Reservation for the breakfast bread set. After check-in, it was neatly placed in the refrigerator. The long-established roast beef was convincingly delicious! The bread was excellent too—and when we wondered where it was from, we found out it came from a famous bakery. That attention to detail really showed their commitment to quality.

Nice to meet you. This was our older siblings’ once-a-year trip to Tomakomai (meeting up with our cousins in Tomakomai), and we were very satisfied with the complimentary drinks and other services at the Hotel group’s izakaya. We also sincerely appreciate your thoughtful hospitality, including the Hotel ice cream and soba noodles after the Onsen. We look forward to staying with you again.

Each room has a private indoor bath and an open-air bath. You can choose premium ingredients for the meals, but even the standard ingredients are exceptionally delicious—especially the dashi. The menu changes with the seasons, and the seasonal kaiseki cuisine is outstanding.

Last time, the step inside the Room made it difficult to get to the open-air bath, so this time I made a Reservation for a barrier-free Room. The Room was clean, and of course the hot spring water felt wonderful. There was water provided in the Room, in the electric kettle, and even in the coffee maker—I've rarely stayed anywhere that thoughtful, and it made me very happy. The wooden decorative framework in the Room was also lovely. I’m not usually a fan of yukata, but the fabric was soft and comfortable to wear. There were cushion-style chairs in the Room; however, when sitting on them, neither I (with bad legs) nor my husband (whose legs and lower back have become a bit weak) could use them comfortably. We wished there were at least two standard dining-style chairs like those in the restaurant area—it was disappointing. If you could replace just two of the four seats with regular chairs, it would be greatly appreciated by elderly guests. The meals were delicious, and all staff were polite and hospitable. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

Located very close to Kirishima Shrine, we visited after worship and enjoyed a consistently comfortable stay, enhanced by the refreshing hospitality. We also savored a variety of dishes that exceeded our expectations, and I was happy to see my mother enjoy her meal even more than usual. There are many stairs on the way to the hot springs, but unusually for her, my 80-year-old mother said her knees and lower back felt better after soaking and she enjoyed the baths twice. The room has a sense of history, yet it was thoroughly cleaned, and even on the way to our room we were soothed by the aroma of tea. We will visit again with our family in the near future. Thank you very much.

Please remove your shoes upon arrival; guests generally walk around in socks. I loved it from that moment on! The room felt modern, was quite spacious, and very clean—so impressive. All-you-can-drink is available from check-in until 21:00. I don’t drink alcohol myself, but there was a great selection and my companion was very happy. I was a bit disappointed that the “milk” seemed more like a milk beverage, but there were plenty of other drinks. It felt wonderful to enjoy drinks while soaking in the footbath. For dinner we chose the top course, and it was my first time having such amazing meat!!! The salad bar was also very satisfying. The foreign staff member who explained everything to us seemed sweet and new at the job—I couldn’t help but want to cheer her on. Her smile was lovely! Not just her—everyone on staff was kind and had great smiles. There are two baths: the “Beauty Bath” and the “Health Bath.” The Beauty Bath is definitely more exciting. There were ReFa shower heads with a mist setting, and the hair dryers were Panasonic and ReFa as well. It was also nice that you can borrow shampoo. I’d seen reviews saying there wasn’t much for breakfast, but I was satisfied! The curry had a Japanese-style flavor and was delicious. The croquettes were great too—I ate a lot. I also loved being able to eat lots of cherry tomatoes at both dinner and breakfast (I wonder where they’re from). Maybe it just happened to be that way during our stay, but most guests seemed older, and since there aren’t many rooms overall, it felt calm and relaxing—which I really liked. I’d love to stay again. It’s also nice that you can play park golf—I didn’t try it this time, but maybe I should have!

I stayed here on a solo trip to Mt. Yoshino in Nara Prefecture to recharge. The staff were cheerful and kind, and the inn was wonderful, filled with warm hospitality. Every dish made with plenty of local ingredients was delicious, and the careful explanations when serving made the meal even more enjoyable. Although I was traveling alone, I truly appreciated having dinner served in my room at night—it allowed me to relax and savor everything at my own pace without worrying about others. Breakfast was served in a large hall in a traditional style, with tables and chairs set on tatami mats; it had a charming atmosphere that felt very special. The breakfast side dishes were all so tasty that they went perfectly with rice—I ended up having seconds. The weather was also on our side, and the open-air bath felt absolutely amazing; all my daily fatigue melted away. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. I would love to visit again in another season.

I traveled to the Agano River specifically for this Accommodation, and it was excellent. The meals were generous in portion and delicious, and the open-air bath felt spacious and was truly wonderful. I would love to stay again when I visit this area. Thank you.
