Thank you very much for taking such wonderful care of us. This was a truly top-tier Accommodation that exceeded all expectations. I understand you are now in your 18th generation—when it comes to Onsen Accommodations, nothing compares to a long-established inn. Of course, both the large public bath and the in-Room bath are fed directly from the source with free-flowing spring water. The staff were exceptionally attentive—so much so that we almost felt apologetic for receiving such kindness. Above all, the dining was outstanding, far beyond anything we had imagined. The tableware was also beautiful throughout, including pieces inspired by Rosanjin’s works, making each meal a delight not only for the palate but also for the eyes. The Kaga cuisine was delicately seasoned yet deeply flavorful. Everything was immaculately cleaned, and the view from the window was truly soothing. While preserving the charm of this historic inn, the property has been beautifully renewed with touches of contemporary art woven in seamlessly. Naturally, many Rosanjin works are displayed throughout the building as well, and they were well worth seeing. I also suspect many guests may not notice this—but in the lobby, Rooms, and bathing areas: there are countless chairs everywhere, and most appear to be high-end pieces. I can only imagine how much has been invested overall; especially the chair inside the elevator must be quite expensive. Even details like lighting and clocks have clearly been chosen with great care. We visited with very high expectations for an Onsen Accommodation, yet everything surpassed them by a wide margin—truly impressive. We would love to return again soon.

This time, my parents and I stayed here. We’ve stayed about four times, but it had been a while since our last visit. The staff’s service here is truly outstanding. I’ve stayed at many Accommodations, and this ranks among the top one or two. Thank you very much.

We stayed to celebrate the youngest of our three sons’ birthday—this was about our fifth visit. The room has evolved into a family room, and with the slide, swing, and bouldering wall, they played nonstop. All three were very happy and said they want to come again and stay again. Thank you as well to K for taking such great care of us during our meals—it made the memories even more special. Next time, we’d love to visit for our second son’s birthday. Thank you in advance.

First, the young woman who escorted us to our Room had beautiful skin, and her professional service was very soothing. The two types of Onsen were great—especially the brown one, which was pleasantly salty and exactly my kind of Onsen. Maybe it was just my imagination, but my skin felt incredibly smooth afterward. This is just my personal opinion, but if the spring source temperature is low, I might soak longer if that small bath were a warm (lukewarm) Onsen. The Room was stylish as well. There were plenty of yukata and towels, so I could use fresh towels whenever I wanted with no stress. The free drinks were also very convenient. We only had breakfast, but the rice was glossy and delicious—I’d like to visit next time with dinner included.

We stayed for one night from July 27 with two families. From the gentleman on the parking staff at check-in, to the young man in charge of our Room, and even the shop staff, everyone provided warm, friendly service that made our stay truly comfortable. In particular, my son became very fond of the staff member in charge of our Room and still proudly displays the letter he received at check-out. Thank you so much for being so kind to him. The Room was spacious, the view from the window was wonderful, and every dish was delicious. The Onsen had excellent water quality, and my skin felt smooth after bathing. Guests of many different age groups were staying there, and after experiencing it ourselves, we completely understand why. It’s a wonderful Accommodation where anyone can relax and enjoy their time. We also appreciated the complimentary Onsen eggs and “a little beer” service, which helped our whole family have a great time. We would love to visit again.

From check-in to the room, everything went smoothly, and the Onsen, coffee, newspapers, breakfast, and parking were all free. There were also plenty of dinner options at the places you recommended, and we were very satisfied. We’ll be switching from other Business Hotels! The staff at check-in and in the breakfast area were very friendly. Thank you.

After watching the Awa Odori, our family of four stayed here. We couldn’t find anywhere in Tokushima City with two Rooms available, so we chose this place by elimination—but we were very satisfied. The Rooms were connected Rooms, with two Rooms linked by an internal door when opened. The beds were bunk beds, which our kids found really fun and enjoyed a lot. The bath was available until 9:30 a.m., so even though we checked in at 11:30 p.m., we could relax and enjoy it. The water had a slightly salty quality and the temperature was just right—excellent overall. Breakfast focused on organic ingredients and was served buffet-style; everything was delicious. We hadn’t heard of this Hotel before, but it was clean and very nice. We’d definitely like to stay again if we have the chance.

I loved Azumino when I visited three months ago, so I came back—and this time chose Accommodation Nagomino. Surrounded by vivid greenery, everything was wonderful: the scenery, the building, the Facility, the meals, and of course the baths, as well as the excellent hospitality from all the staff. We were informed in advance that due to last week’s heavy rain, the Onsen pipeline to the Accommodation had been washed away and the Onsen supply had stopped, but fortunately it was restored on this very day—what a relief! It’s not a price range we can visit often, but I would definitely like to return in another season.

During a weekend of heavy rain brought by the autumnal rain front, I was finally able to stay at a long-established Accommodation in Unazuki Onsen. I could feel the president’s and proprietress’s heartfelt hospitality in every detail. Soaking in the open-air bath while watching the swift flow of the Kurobe River, enjoying dishes that highlighted seasonal ingredients and beautiful tableware, and experiencing excellent service—all were wonderful. At the Selene Museum of Art, I was able to view magnificent paintings of Kurobe Gorge while overlaying them with the scenery from the trolley train window. It truly healed my body and mind from within, so I would love to return to experience again this Onsen culture that blends wellness and tea ceremony.

We stayed with our 3-year-old and our 2-month-old baby. We chose this Accommodation because the Room has a private open-air bath, and in-room dining—now quite rare—meant we could relax even with small children. About two days before our stay, we received a confirmation call and were grateful for the details about the Shuttle Service pickup location. When we told them our children’s ages, they kindly said, “We’ll make sure your Room is thoroughly cleaned.” The Facility felt a bit dated, but the Room was very clean. Everyone at the Ryokan wore hakama, which looked wonderful. Since we arrived with children, they guided us to our Room first, and being able to complete check-in in the Room was also a big plus. We were welcomed with matcha tea and warabi mochi, which helped us unwind after traveling. With only eight guest Rooms, it was very quiet throughout our stay—comfortable like having a private villa. They had already laid out futons so our child could lie down anytime, and they spoke warmly to our older child by name—thoughtful service that really stood out. Every in-room dining dish was delicious, especially the fish dishes. The private open-air bath attached to the guest Room had a lovely hinoki aroma. It rained on arrival day, but the next morning we enjoyed a bath while looking out at the sea. There is also a reservable open-air bath on the rooftop; after putting the kids to sleep, my spouse and I took turns using it. We even enjoyed stargazing at night—such a special memory. Thanks to all of their thoughtful care, this became an unforgettable family trip. We would love to stay again when we visit Izu. Thank you very much!

It was truly the best two days in between the rainy season. I was able to let go of my everyday fatigue and stress. The view from the bath over the Kikuchi River was so breathtaking it felt like I could be drawn right in—I could have looked at it forever. The meals were refined and delicious, perfect for me. In particular, the Shichijo rice was outstanding—shiny and absolutely delicious. The front desk service was excellent as well. I would definitely love to visit again.

The Facility was very luxurious yet refined and relaxing. The hospitality was excellent, and the meals were truly delicious. The Onsen water was clear and colorless, but it lived up to its reputation as one of Japan’s Three Famous Hot Springs, said to have been favored by Masamune Date. It doesn’t make you overheat easily and keeps you warm for a long time—an exceptional spring quality that warmed both body and mind and soothed me deeply. Next time, I would love to stay in a Room with a private open-air bath. I will definitely return.

This is what a great Accommodation should be. It met my expectations—and exceeded them. From the complimentary herb water made with herbs from the garden to the various cordial syrups and even a sake bath, every detail was thoughtfully considered. The olive kaiseki dinner left a strong impression of Shodoshima. I truly hope to return.

I had a Multiple Night Stay, and to be honest, it exceeded my expectations. Although I couldn't see Mount Fuji from the Room I stayed in, I enjoyed a blissful time on the beautiful garden terrace where the day seemed to pass by in an instant. The medicinal stone bath was incredibly relaxing; after just one soak, my body felt thoroughly warmed to the core. By the second time, I even started looking forward to the bath preparation process itself. The Room was spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. During my stay, housekeeping cleaned while I was out for the day during my Multiple Night Stay. Returning to such a spotless Room felt like coming back to a brand-new space—it was truly impressive! The staff were kind and greeted me warmly every time we crossed paths, making my stay all the more pleasant. When visiting Lake Kawaguchi again, I will definitely return to Hana no Yado Yumefuji! We stayed one night in a second-floor Room starting 2026/6/6. Our group was two adults, one 2-year-old, and one Pomeranian. The Room was stylish, clean, and spacious, and the private open-air Onsen bath was more than large enough. The water temperature was easy to adjust. Even though it was June, we didn’t notice any insects, and it was wonderful to be able to bathe 24 hours a day at whatever temperature we wanted. The only reason this isn’t a full 5 stars is the lack of a view (it didn’t bother us at all at night). We were surprised to find an indoor puppy area in the Room that’s big enough for light running. Also (in a good way), even though the Facility is extremely clean, dogs are allowed to walk anywhere as long as they’re on a leash. The vanity has double sinks and is very comfortable. There’s also a front-loading washer/dryer, so staying two nights or more would be easy. The shower room is very spacious, which made bathing our 2-year-old much easier. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances and tableware for cooking, but we ate out this time. Within walking distance there are great sushi places, buffets, loco moco spots, and an infinity-style scenic footbath with amazing views. Shirarahama Beach is about a 20-minute walk from the Hotel—an excellent location. Within about 10 minutes by car are Toretore Market as well as recommended yakiniku and pizza restaurants. They offer free rental of an outdoor wagon: we loaded our 2-year-old and our Pomeranian into it and walked to Shirarahama Beach. At night we went to a buffet about a 3-minute walk from the Hotel; after our child fell asleep we enjoyed Onsen time with drinks; the next day we bought delicious bread from the attached bakery Hotel before sightseeing. Thanks to all of this, we had an amazing holiday. We will definitely return—if I had to nitpick: - I would have liked a baby guard to prevent falls (we pushed the beds together and used pillows as a barrier) - I would have preferred an enclosed toilet room (this is also why it’s not quite full marks for the Room) We’ve stayed at many pet-friendly Accommodations before, but considering location and value for money, this was by far the best. We will absolutely come back. Apparently Rooms on the third floor have ocean views—next time we’d like to stay there.

We stayed here as a couple in August. It was very reasonably priced, yet everything was excellent overall. The meal included wagyu beef grilled on a ceramic plate, and even if it was cooked a bit too long, it was still very tender. The other dishes were also delicious. The portions were generous, and we were completely satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. The staff were friendly, and the building was clean. We’d love to use the bath again. If we have the chance, we would definitely stay again, and we would recommend it to others as well.

We stayed three times over three weeks (as a couple, our eldest son’s family, and our second daughter’s family). We were satisfied all three times. Both our eldest son’s family and our second daughter’s family (each staying on different dates) said that if they travel to Shirahama, they would be happy to stay at least one night at Shirahama Koganoi.

I’ve always loved Mt. Fuji and have wanted to stay at KUKUNA for a long time! Because of work, I often end up making a Reservation close to the stay date, and it’s usually fully booked (it’s so popular). This time, a spot opened up just a few days before, and we were able to stay! Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, so we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji during daylight. Still, our Room with an open-air bath was clean, spacious, stylish, and incredibly relaxing—it completely melted away our everyday fatigue. The food was also excellent: creative cuisine and a buffet, along with attentive service. This trip was also to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. When we mentioned it, they kindly gifted us a wonderful dessert and photos, making it an unforgettable trip. The Onsen in the large public bath was very clean as well—we soaked at ease and felt truly refreshed. The sauna was great too. We’d love to stay again (if we can get a Reservation!).

Relax in an Onsen in the mountains while gazing out at the sea. This location was simply unbeatable. And above all, the food was truly delicious! This time we enjoyed a French dinner. French cuisine at an Onsen Accommodation—more satisfying than we ever imagined. In the morning, it was a complete change to Japanese breakfast. The views, the Onsen, and the food—everything was exceptional. It was a luxurious time that left both our hearts and stomachs full.

This was my first stay. The front desk guidance was clear and very kind—my first impression was excellent. The dinner included in the Plan was plentiful and delicious. The only disappointment was that my Room was on the side without a view. I’ve already made another Reservation for the near future, and I hope to have a great view next time.
