The modern Japanese-Western style room was very comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail for small children, such as pushing the beds together and limiting the height of the cushions. The meals were excellent, and the dessert pudding was especially delicious—I wanted to buy some to take home as a souvenir. Kinosaki in the rain also had a charming atmosphere, and we were very satisfied.

I have wonderful memories of the Accommodation’s atmosphere and hospitality from my first stay, and this time I returned for the first time in seven years. I heard that during the COVID period you improved the parking area and the path to the Accommodation, and it was even easier to access than before. The atmosphere is still just as lovely, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. I especially recommend the spiny lobster sashimi and the simmered golden eye snapper. This time, I also asked in advance for a birthday surprise for my friend, and you kindly accommodated my request. My friend was truly delighted, and I’m so glad I asked. Thank you very much for your pleasant hospitality and service. Above all, one of Hana Noren’s greatest charms is Toi Onsen, which helped melt away my everyday fatigue. At night I enjoyed the bath in my Room, and in the morning I woke up early to use the private bath. I truly love this time spent forgetting daily noise—the sound of flowing Onsen water and birdsong brought exceptional comfort. Thank you again for another wonderful stay. I was completely satisfied with everything. Next time, I hope to return again sooner. Thank you very much!

Soaking in the wonderfully heated, wood-fired bath and relaxing let us truly enjoy the essence of a hot spring inn. Above all, we were impressed by the meals. The vegetables and fish were very fresh, and you could tell great care was taken with the ingredients. Breakfast was a first-time experience for us—we could grill fish and other items ourselves and enjoy them piping hot. There was also a wide variety of dishes, and we couldn’t stop eating rice. We also loved being able to dine in a private room without worrying about others, at our own pace. I’ve already recommended it to friends.\n\nWe’ve added this to our list of hot spring inns we definitely want to visit again.

Recent accommodations often focus on being "Instagrammable," looking great in photos but sometimes falling short in reality. However, this accommodation, while the building itself shows signs of aging, is impeccably clean and offers a very comfortable stay. The bath includes a private open-air hot spring with flowing water, offering breathtaking views of the vast ocean from a scenic cape. During my stay, it was a full moon, and I enjoyed an unforgettable moment under the moonlight accompanied by the sounds of nature. Meals are seafood-focused! Breakfast features marinated tuna rice bowls. The half-buffet style allows you to adjust portions to your appetite. Even the pickles reflect the chef's dedication to quality—everything was absolutely delicious. The evening stargazing session was unexpectedly enjoyable with detailed explanations provided by staff. The staff members were incredibly kind and attentive, making every aspect of my stay satisfying. Thanks to their support, I managed to visit Nachi Taisha Shrine and Nachi Falls despite having limited time. Thank you very much! This accommodation is highly recommended for those who value authenticity over superficial appeal.

First, there were no slippers, so you can walk around the Hotel in socks or barefoot—it felt like coming home. In the Room there were water, coffee, tea, and jelly; it was great to take the water with us while sightseeing. After using the large public bath, there was free ice cream and free massage chairs. At night we enjoyed complimentary late-night soba noodles, and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options—we were completely full. Check-in and check-out were smooth with the self-service machines. It’s a Hotel I’d definitely like to visit again!

I was satisfied with everything. The dishes made with olive oil were delicious, and the room with a view of the calm sea was wonderful. Shodoshima is famous for its stone, and it is used generously throughout the island. It doesn’t feel cold; instead, it feels warm and comforting. The staff greeted us with smiles, and it was an inn that made us think, even before checkout, “We want to come back.”

As others have mentioned, the second-floor ocean-view Room offers a view of the sea through power lines, with part of a building that looks somewhat abandoned in the foreground. The windows were not cleaned well, so it wasn’t a view that impressed us. The Room had the kind of odor often found in pet-friendly Accommodation, and we noticed smells around the sofa, bed, and curtains as well. The shared areas were very clean and had no odor, so they were comfortable to use. That was great. The only thing that concerned me in the shared areas was that the foot-washing faucet at the entrance only dispensed cold water... Maybe I wasn’t using it correctly. Personally, I appreciated being able to try out TAVO carts and beds—an unexpected service. Since we didn’t bring our own cart, we were able to rent one and visit places where a rental is required. However, since we received a size 6 or 7 cart, I did wonder whether it would be suitable for smaller dogs. The bakery next door also tasted great, and overall it was a Hotel I’d like to use again if I have the chance.

While Accommodations with Onsen and breakfast and dinner included are wonderful, we were hoping for a stay that felt more like living locally. We stayed as a couple, and the simple layout—kitchen, dining area, bedroom, toilet, and shower—was impressive and made for a very comfortable stay. The owner’s mural was gentle and blended beautifully with the interior, creating a lovely atmosphere. We were told that in winter all rooms have underfloor heating so you can stay comfortable even in short sleeves, so we’d love to visit again in another season. There’s an OGINO supermarket nearby as well as a butcher shop; we enjoyed basashi and relaxed with Yamanashi wine (the kitchen knife wasn’t very sharp, but honestly it felt safer that way). Partway through our stay, the owner stopped by to check on us and shared stories about life at Lake Yamanaka—more than anything else, that became our favorite memory and made us feel at ease. It was a truly wonderful stay. Thank you very much.

Whenever I visit Osaka, I stay at this Hotel. This time, I noticed that the table in the Room was smaller than before, and the shower was a bit harder to use than it used to be. However, being able to make a Reservation for parking gives me peace of mind, and it’s a Hotel where I can stay comfortably. I’m always grateful that when I have a Multiple Night Stay, you provide amenities for the full number of nights. Thank you very much—I’d like to stay here again when I’m in Osaka.

Last summer, we stayed here for the first time and our whole family was thrilled to enjoy such an extraordinary getaway, so this year we extended our stay to three nights. Since we thought we might not make it by check-in time, we let them know we would be late, and they responded very pleasantly. Check-in was until 6:00 PM, but when we arrived around 7:00 PM and went to reception, the staff greeted us with a wonderful smile and said “Welcome back,” providing truly perfect service. Right after checking in, as we drove out for dinner, we noticed that the decorative lights that had been on earlier were now off—and realized they had turned them on as a landmark to help us find reception. We felt sorry for the trouble and were impressed by how thoughtful the staff were. Because we have a dog, we chose a type with a large dog run and BBQ facilities, and it exceeded our expectations. The Room was spacious and spotless, amenities were well prepared, and it was so perfect it was hard to find anything to complain about. We’d love to keep using it like a vacation home in the future, and I think it’s also ideal for multiple families or three-generation trips.

The property is comfortable and very well cleaned, and the open-air bath feels so good you’d think it was a hot spring. My companion mentioned that it would be nice to have a stool by the sink, so next time I’m planning to bring a foldable one. We’re hoping to come back again around this time next year.

We stopped by during a drive trip to Mt. Aso. We traveled with our 1-year-old child, and we really appreciated the thoughtful consideration for meals. The food was delicious, and the open-air bath was excellent. We would love to visit again if we have the opportunity.

The Room also has a private Onsen bath, and there are four private baths as well—an impressive level of facilities for a pension. The meals offered many dishes, were beautifully colorful, and were very satisfying. We felt thoughtful attention to detail throughout. This is an Accommodation we’d like to return to. We requested an after-bath beer at check-in; we probably should have put it in the refrigerator. It would have been nice to have local craft beer, and we only realized later that we could exchange the in-house wear size, so we rated it 4—but overall it’s basically all 5s. We could also see Lake Inawashiro from the Room.

Being welcomed back with “Welcome home” always puts me at ease from the moment I arrive at the front desk. It was very crowded during the Silver Week holidays, but even so, the staff’s warm hospitality—such as wiping my rain-soaked suitcase with a spotless white towel—meant so much to me. The bath was just right, and as always, the meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Whether it was the food or the wine, I truly enjoyed a deeply satisfying time. I have an intense workload ahead through next year, but when I’m worn out again, I’d love to come back for some relaxation.

Everything was wonderful—the hot springs, the food, and the hospitality. I’ve had kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) several times in Izu, but the simmered kinmedai at this ryokan was the best. I was surprised to see my daughter, who usually isn’t a fan of simmered fish, asking for seconds. The mini rice bowl—topping white rice with the sauce and fish—was absolutely worth making room for! Unfortunately, we didn’t have good weather and couldn’t do much sightseeing, but being able to stay at Hamanoyu made it a trip our whole family was truly happy with. We’d love to come again. I traveled with my elderly parents and my daughter. The hotel had very high ratings when I researched it beforehand, so we arrived with high expectations. It truly was an outstanding hotel that more than lived up to them. We were moved by the panoramic ocean view from our room. Everything was spotless and very clean. For dinner, we chose the seasonal kaiseki course; the restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere, and we enjoyed a relaxed evening savoring delicious dishes at our own pace. Each item was carefully prepared—beautiful to look at and absolutely delicious. My daughter and parents were especially impressed by the toro-taku. My parents are older and have weak teeth, but the wagyu steak was so tender that they could enjoy it without any trouble. They usually don’t eat much, yet they finished everything, which really surprised me. We used the large public bath, and the view from there was also incredible. The next morning, I woke up early with my parents and watched the sunrise from our room’s terrace; seeing how moved my father was made me feel deeply emotional as well. Breakfast was a buffet with Japanese and Western options plus a few Chinese dishes, so everyone could choose what they liked—we enjoyed it very much. The freshly made fluffy omelet and freshly squeezed orange juice were especially delicious. After check-out, the staff kindly assisted us all the way to the station, for which we are very grateful. I was able to give my parents a wonderful trip full of great memories. Thank you very much! We will definitely return again.

I stay here about once a year. The Mt. Fuji view is breathtaking, and the hospitality, Onsen, and cuisine are all outstanding in quality. The only minor drawback is that it can be hard to secure a Reservation—but that’s proof of how great it is.

From the moment you meet the shuttle bus driver, whose warm and pleasant service sets the tone, your enjoyable trip begins. This was our second stay, and just like last time, we truly appreciated the heartfelt hospitality. Last time we arrived late and missed out on the pancakes, but this time we were able to enjoy them fully and were very satisfied. We choose this property for its rare teppanyaki dinner option, and every time we are delighted with the meal. This visit also made for a wonderful birthday celebration. We hope you will continue to provide the same thoughtful and creative hospitality in the future.

We stayed this time for a girls’ trip. The food was truly delicious, and we’re always satisfied. The salt-grilled char is a must. Ice cream after the bath and relaxing time in the lounge were perfect for our girls’ trip. I always think I’ll try the footbath, but somehow never do. The freshly baked bread brought around in the morning and the limited-edition jam were the final, unforgettable touch.

The view of Matsushima from the Room was as beautiful as a painting. The meals offered a wide variety, and we were able to enjoy local flavors. My husband, who loves drinks, was very happy with the wide selection of alcohol. The view from the large public bath was also wonderful, and the amenities were well stocked. I only wished the Room had a few more amenities like those in the large public bath. We would love to stay again.
