We stayed for two nights from 7/18 (Sat) in a Japanese-Western Room with a large open-air bath. Just as advertised as “the largest in Hokuriku,” the open-air bath was spacious—a luxurious space where adults can fully stretch out their arms and legs. That said, it does require some consideration for women. Across the river is a long-established restaurant; during business hours their windows are left open, so you do feel conscious of being seen. About 30–50 cm around the tub has no screening at all, so I felt it would be helpful to have reed screens or bamboo blinds available so guests who are concerned can adjust them themselves. My husband didn’t mind at all and was completely satisfied—he still says it was the best open-air bath he’s ever had. Since there was no explanation on arrival, we weren’t sure at first, but we were amazed (and impressed) that we didn’t run into other guests in the elevator. The Room layout was extremely practical. Right next to the elevator is a walk-in closet with air conditioning, so you can hang clothes on one side and use the other side to dry wet towels and such. There is also a separate door and staircase used by attendants to bring in-room meals directly to the tatami living area without passing through. Because the living-room windows face near Korogi Bridge, people crossing the bridge could look down and make eye contact with us—shy guests might find this uncomfortable. About inside the Accommodation: there is a quiet, relaxing lounge on another floor. Each chair has great taste; I loved the design so much that I kept stopping by whenever I thought of it. There’s also a terrace overlooking the night sky and nature—it felt wonderfully open. The food was excellent—truly nothing to complain about. There were also hearty meat dishes that younger guests would enjoy; everything was delicious and we finished it all. In casual conversation with our attendant, we learned that the homemade desserts are made by the young proprietress herself. The melon bread panna cotta and strawberry mousse were incredibly good. They were so good that my plan to take leftovers from family members who don’t like sweets fell through (laugh). Overall, this Accommodation was perfect for resetting both body and mind. It was well worth driving eight hours each way in our own car. Thank you to my husband—and sincere thanks as well to everyone at Korogi-ro for your kindness and attentive service. Our attendant’s warm personality and gentle consideration were truly soothing. Even shop staff around Yamanaka Onsen town kindly spoke to us when we seemed lost. Although I’d known the name, this was my first stay. During a break in the rainy weather, I walked from Tonosawa Station, and it felt like a little hidden retreat. In hindsight, it was probably the right choice compared with taking the bus from Yumoto along the crowded road. From the moment I arrived, I received a very warm welcome, and the view from my room was wonderful—I could have spent all day doing nothing but looking out. There were fresh Japanese sweets on the desk as a complimentary treat; since many places offer only packaged snacks, this made me especially happy. There are quite a few stairs, but the property is a comfortable size, so I quickly got used to moving around and thoroughly enjoyed the baths. The atmospheric bath with stained glass, the open-air bath reached by walking outside for a short distance, and the bright private bath on the top floor—all had wonderfully smooth water. Most guests were international. (Not at all the inn’s fault, but I was surprised to see someone enter wearing swimwear and carrying a smartphone.) Meals were served in an impressive hall with a magnificent coffered ceiling full of character. The painted sliding doors were also beautiful—it was truly a rare experience. All of the staff seemed highly experienced; whenever I asked something they answered carefully, and I was moved by how proudly they worked. This is an outstanding inn filled with hospitality—somewhere I would love to return to regularly. My room had great views over the Hayakawa River; during prolonged rain it became quite loud, so if you’re sensitive to noise you may want earplugs. The building is full of highlights yet somehow warm and cozy as well—and maintaining it must be no easy task. It’s such a wonderful place that I sincerely hope will remain for many years to come.

I never expected to find a sauna of this quality on Miyakojima. The owner must be a true sauna enthusiast. Everything, including the Room layout and flow, is designed to satisfy sauna lovers, and the settings were already prepared upon arrival so we could start enjoying the sauna right away. Fragrances are placed throughout the Room, and while there isn’t an outdoor relaxation area, the indoor environment is more than enough to fully unwind (setting the Dyson fan to level 2–3 makes it exceptionally relaxing). The amenities were all exactly to my taste, and it was a thoroughly satisfying stay. A must-see villa for sauna lovers.

We stayed here for the first time on a birthday trip for my boyfriend, who loves saunas! We travel to many places, but this villa was beyond our expectations—absolutely amazing!! The Room, garden, and sauna were all very spacious and spotless, and the mountain views were incredible!! The BBQ dinner was delicious with excellent ingredients, and the portions were more than satisfying. The sweetfish rice for breakfast was also outstanding! We enjoyed the sauna a lot, and at night we had drinks while enjoying the bonfire and BBQ—it was truly a wonderful time! Above all, the staff’s service was exceptional!! I don’t usually write Reviews, but I wanted to share my gratitude for this wonderful Facility and the amazing staff. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back again, and we look forward to seeing you next time!

This was my first stay at Route Inn Hotel. The Room and Facility were clean, and it even had a large public bath, which I wasn’t expecting. Breakfast was also included and delicious, so I was very satisfied with my stay. I’d be happy to use it again on future trips!

Thank you again for your hospitality. Just three stops from Kyoto Station and also close to Karasuma Oike, it’s convenient yet quiet and comfortable. There are complimentary drinks, and alcohol is available at certain times. I’d be even happier if there were some Kyoto-style tea as well! I’ll be back again!

We stayed here to relax as a couple, and it was very quiet, just as we had hoped. We enjoyed both the indoor bath and the open-air Onsen, and the Room was spacious, allowing us to truly unwind. If we have the opportunity, we would like to stay again.

We were very satisfied with the hospitality, the meals, and the guest-only bath. Although it is a town-run Accommodation, the lawn outside was also well maintained, and we enjoyed a refreshing morning walk.

All the Accommodation staff were very polite and kind. The Onsen water felt silky and moisturizing, and the bath area was clean and well stocked with amenities, making it very comfortable. I found an Accommodation in Asamushi Onsen that I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

This Accommodation is very popular and hard to book, but I was lucky to get a Reservation and this is my second stay. The building is old, so you can hear noise from outside the Room, but once you get used to it, it’s not an issue. The meals are generous and delicious—I almost worry it’s okay to stay at such a low price. I still haven’t seen all the nearby sights, so I’d love to come again.

I booked this Hotel after seeing it on YouTube, and it exceeded my expectations—it was a wonderful Hotel with a nostalgic charm that still retains the atmosphere of Japan’s Showa-era bubble period. There are many stunning scenic spots both inside and outside the building, and the meals offered a wide variety of dishes and were very delicious. I will never forget the breathtaking view of Sagami Bay from the large public bath, Spa Rium Nishiki. We stayed in an Ocean Wing Room, which was also clean. However, there was only one towel in the washroom, so I would have appreciated having face towels provided for each guest. Thanks to you, our Atami trip became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much to all the staff!

We stayed here while hosting my younger sister’s two families for a memorial service. The elegant lobby, guest rooms, hot spring facilities, and meals—everything was wonderfully attentive, and we were very satisfied. We would love to stay again in the future. Thank you.

It’s wonderful to find such a large garden in the heart of Tokyo. I was able to forget about everyday life and truly relax. There were so many international guests that it almost felt like being abroad. The staff were also very kind, and I had a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

This was our second stay, having previously booked a room with Club Lounge access. The bathroom features a view bath, so you can enjoy the scenery outside while soaking. The view from the room is wonderful, and from the Club Lounge you can see Tokyo Tower up close, which really lifts your spirits. The food and sweets provided are also very delicious.

I stayed solo for my birthday. The hotel was filled with a lovely fragrance and live music, and the autumn-themed entrance flowers were beautiful. I had booked a “check-in from 5:00 PM, room type assigned on arrival” plan, but since my room was ready, they kindly allowed me to check in at the regular time. The room was charming yet elegant, with a relaxing atmosphere and a canal view from the window. The coffee machine and amenities were well stocked, and I really appreciated the complimentary Huis Ten Bosch hot spring voucher and next-day passport. For the Huis Ten Bosch Revue, I received an A-seat invitation ticket from the hotel and upgraded to an SS seat by paying the difference. They even sang a birthday song for me—it made my birthday truly special. In the evening I enjoyed a drink alone at the bar; it was quiet and very relaxing. Breakfast the next morning at De Admiral started with morning champagne, and each beautifully presented dish was served one by one—everything impressed me. Even though it’s inside the park, the hospitality felt like staying at a top luxury city hotel—an experience so good it could become addictive. Thank you very much.

The Room had a beautiful Tokyo Skytree view. The bathroom was separate from the toilet, so I could relax comfortably. Breakfast was delicious, especially the orange juice and omelet. Still, I was surprised that there were so many foreign guests.

I stayed for two nights. The location was convenient and close to the station, just as other reviews said. I arrived in Takamatsu by ferry and often traveled to nearby islands, so being close to the ferry terminal was also a key reason I chose this hotel. Both the room and lobby were clean, and I had a very comfortable stay. It was also easy to take an early-morning walk around the port. From the large public bath, I could see Takamatsu Castle and the harbor, which was very relaxing. I would stay here again if I have another chance to visit.

Whenever we visit Hokuriku, we always stay at “Notoya.” We always look forward to the warm hospitality from the staff and the delicious meals. This time, we stayed in a Japanese-style Room with a semi-open-air bath fed directly from the hot spring source, and enjoyed an all-sea-bream menu: a boat platter of sea bream, sea bream shabu-shabu, and sea bream ochazuke. The dishes were light and gentle on our bodies as seniors, and we were able to finish everything. The bath in the Room was also at just the right temperature, and we fully enjoyed the luxury of soaking morning and night while feeling the cool breeze. “Notoya” never disappoints no matter when we visit—we would definitely like to stay again next time. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

We escaped the lingering heat of the city and enjoyed an all-inclusive stay while breathing in the crisp, clear air. We had handmade pizza, plenty of sake, an Onsen, a massage chair—and even received a “Happy Birthday” gift. A wonderful way for a long-married couple to relax. We’d love to stay again. Thank you.

This was my first time staying in a room with a private open-air bath. The room was clean, and the open-air bath was very relaxing. Since it’s close to the sea, the sashimi was exceptionally delicious. Of course, the other dishes were also great—I ate too much. If I have the chance, I’d love to visit again.
