I stay here 2–3 times a year. There are two baths, so it’s nice to be able to choose depending on my mood. This time I stayed one night and used them four times. The greenery around the open-air bath was vivid. Meals are buffet-style all you can eat, but perhaps because of my age I can’t eat that much anymore, so I enjoyed small portions of what I liked. Everything was delicious.

It was the weekend right before the Obon holidays, so every Accommodation was expensive and I was looking for somewhere affordable. Since it was cheap, I didn’t have high expectations, but it was clean, the shampoo and other amenities were POLA, the room size was just right for a solo stay, and I was satisfied with the breakfast curry and bread. I was able to park at a nearby parking lot for only 600 yen. This is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again when I visit Kitakyushu. Thank you very much.

True to its name as an Accommodation with Onsen, the hot springs left our skin silky smooth and helped us feel refreshed. The hospitality was also attentive, and thank you for making our stay so comfortable.

My main purpose this time was to visit Arashiyama, so I stayed at this Hotel in Shijo-Omiya. The nearby bus stop is also conveniently located, with many bus routes to various areas of Kyoto. The Room had an unusual design—a Japanese-style Room with beds—but it was comfortable. If possible, I would have liked a floor chair. The large public bath was also nice, but the only drawback was that the shower pressure was so strong it hurt when sprayed on my face. Also, I heard the women’s public bath was extremely crowded on Saturday night, so it would be helpful if the TV in the Room could show how busy the public bath is, like some other hotels do.

Dinner features a full-course pufferfish meal. Breakfast includes freshly cooked rice in an earthen pot, thickly sliced grilled salmon, shaved bonito flakes (a rare treat these days), fluffy rolled omelet, large soft pickled plums, lightly pickled cucumber and daikon radish, and more—showcasing attention to both ingredients and hospitality.

Superb Rooms overlooking Miyako Blue and an outstanding cocktail hour—this is exactly why I strongly hope to see the “lounge operation” perfected. As a newly opened Hotel, I had been eagerly looking forward to it since last year. After actually staying, I was overwhelmed by the refined, upscale concept and beautifully crafted spaces on par with Mirage. As a devoted heavy repeat guest who truly loves Shigira Resort, I can say that—just like the Allamanda main building—the hospitality and service quality of the staff are top-tier. What impressed me most was the design of the Executive Ocean Room. Being able to soak in the bathtub at leisure while gazing out at the Miyako Blue sea right in front of you is pure luxury, and personally, I found this Room’s spatial design among the best on the island. Due to our flight schedule, we used the lounge starting from cocktail time, and to be perfectly frank, it surpassed Mirage within the same resort. The selection was extensive and everything was exquisite. My spouse and I do not drink alcohol, but there was one exceptional fruit juice (it’s so delicious that I’d rather not name it for fear it will become too popular) that made us feel its cost must be even higher than many alcoholic options—resulting in a thoroughly satisfying evening even for non-drinkers. Breakfast is also very stylish, with excellent presentation and taste. However, from a professional perspective, one suggestion: there are too many liquid items such as various smoothies, which leaves you feeling overly full of fluids. I felt there may be room to reconsider the overall balance of offerings (the proportion of beverages). And precisely because everything else was perfect and we were extremely satisfied overall, there is one—and only one—major point where I would ask for strict improvement: the Executive Lounge tea time. After breakfast, we went to the lounge with high expectations based on how wonderful cocktail time had been the night before—but were shocked to find it almost completely empty of food. Promoting that state as “tea time” as a perk for club-floor guests is clearly detrimental to a Hotel with such strong branding. I strongly request prompt improvement. The facilities are excellent; staff quality is outstanding; cocktail time is truly superb—which makes only this gap at tea time feel especially wasteful. This Hotel undoubtedly has what it takes to be among Miyakojima’s very best, so I hope that by my next stay your lounge operation will have been updated into its ideal form.

In winter, you get out of the car before reaching the Accommodation and walk the last few minutes to it. It surprised me at first, but the moment the sound of cars fades and only snow and the river remain is truly memorable. Rather than feeling inconvenient, it feels like a quiet shift away from everyday life. Inside the building, water keeps running to prevent freezing, reminding you that people are living here deep in the winter mountains. There were even a few insects that had woken up from hibernation, but they weren’t causing any trouble—it felt like they were simply part of this place. The Onsen is more comfortable if you let your body adjust before soaking rather than rushing in, and the fine sand on the bottom of the bath felt fresh against my soles. Unlike an overly polished Onsen, it really makes you feel immersed in nature. The tofu served at night had a gentle flavor, but the freshly made tofu in the morning had a slight bitterness that actually stayed with me. It felt like tasting the local water and soybeans as they are. At breakfast, they also shared a recommended way to enjoy tamago kake gohan: mix only the egg white first, pour it over rice, then place the yolk on top—trying it was a fun moment. I found myself wondering how long it had been since I last laid out my own futon; I was surprisingly good at it and felt quietly satisfied. Even using an unfamiliar type of Room key felt refreshingly different. When you turn off the lights it becomes truly pitch-dark; even waiting for your eyes to adjust feels pleasant, and in the morning I naturally woke up to light filtering through shoji screens. This time it was about a five-minute walk from where we parked; if I’d left my smartphone in the car too, I might have experienced an even slower sense of time. Many guests were not only families but also solo travelers, which made it especially memorable that I could relax comfortably on my own. In everyday life there aren’t many chances to remember this kind of pace—but once you visit, it’s a place that somehow feels easy to settle into.

We stayed here two years ago and returned this time with two dogs and three family members, and once again everything was outstanding. The Room, garden, and pool were as spotless as if they were brand new—just as beautifully maintained as before. We were allowed to enter before check-in time, and the owner welcomed us warmly with a smile, saying “Welcome back.” Our dogs were thrilled from the moment we arrived—running around the garden in excitement and jumping into the pool right away. Last time we requested a barbecue, which came with plenty of local vegetables and premium steak, and breakfast was a generous menu featuring delicious eggs. This time we chose not to order meals because we wanted to try different restaurants nearby, so we walked to a place close by for fresh oysters and seafood rice bowls. The rock oysters were especially delicious, and my husband and daughter loved them. We also visited dog-friendly cafés and a seafood grill restaurant. There are supermarkets and many dining options nearby, which is very convenient. In the mornings and evenings we walked with our dogs to Kujukuri Beach; the wide sky and shoreline felt incredibly refreshing. We have stayed at other villas and Hotels, but this place is still the best. Pools where you can swim together with your dogs are rare, so we truly appreciate it—and we’re very grateful to the owner. The amenities are well stocked (including a washing machine and cooking utensils), cleanliness is exceptional, and everything is well managed—so even guests without dogs should be able to enjoy a wonderful holiday here. While relaxing by the illuminated pool at night, we decided to have some wine from the wine cellar—it was excellent. We had such a comfortable stay with our dogs during these two fulfilling nights that left us feeling refreshed. Thank you very much.

It was a quiet, relaxing, and stylish Accommodation. From the Setagaya-Daita ticket gate, the lush green path felt like arriving at a sightseeing spot you wouldn’t expect to find in the city center—it was wonderful. The late-night ochazuke and breakfast were both delicious, the Room was spotless, and I slept soundly—an amazing staycation. I worried the bath might be crowded if there were day-use guests, but it wasn’t at all; both at night and in the morning I had it all to myself, which was great. It was very clean as well. There is no cleansing oil or face wash in the bath area, so be sure to bring your own from your Room. I couldn’t make it to the tea lounge or bar because I was already full, but everything looked delicious. My child happened to be quiet so it was fine, but since this is a calm Accommodation, energetic kids might stand out. I didn’t see many families with children. Also, there are shoji screens in the Room, so if you have a child who might tear them you may feel on edge during your stay. At meals they provided a child’s chair and cutlery for us, which was extremely helpful. Going far for an Onsen can be tough, but here you can relax and enjoy an Onsen and great food with satisfaction comparable to an Onsen resort—right in central Tokyo—so I highly recommend it!

The Room, service, bath, and meals were all excellent—we were very satisfied and would like to come again. The only disappointment was that fine feathers came out of the duvet and floated around, causing sneezing and itchiness when sleeping. A fully enclosed duvet cover might be better.

The location was great and the property was clean. The male staff member at the front desk was very kind and helped us warmly and courteously. We had an issue where YouTube in the Room froze on a still image, but he came right away to fix it and handled it quickly. I would like to stay again, and next time I’d like to include breakfast. The large public bath was also clean and helped me relax after a long day.

I finally got to visit my favorite oyster Accommodation, “Ikadaso,” which I’d been wanting to try for a long time. The summer rock oysters were huge and so creamy! The full-course oyster meal was incredible—absolutely delicious. From the phone support to the welcome pickup and the meal service, everything was pleasant and made for a very satisfying stay. I’d love to come again. We also enjoyed sabiki fishing from the raft and caught mackerel and horse mackerel.

We stayed here to express our everyday gratitude to my parents-in-law. The facilities offer a quiet, understated luxury, and the staff provide thoughtful, seamless hospitality. My parents-in-law were deeply moved by this first-time experience, and it reaffirmed that choosing this place was the right decision. Although it wasn’t for an anniversary or any special occasion, it became a wonderful day that reminded us how precious time like this can be. Thank you very much.

I recently stayed here for one night and two days with my grandmother. The staff were extremely courteous, and they kindly assisted us with the Shuttle Service and more, so we were able to spend our time comfortably from start to finish. The Room was wonderful, and the location was perfect. In particular, the open-air bath in the Room allowed us to relax without worrying about others, and we enjoyed a truly luxurious time together. My grandmother was very happy as well, and it became a wonderful memory for us. I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

It was a wonderful Accommodation. We stayed with five women and four children. Everything felt very clean, and even the amenities were branded, which got everyone excited! Everywhere you look is photo-worthy, and best of all, the BBQ while watching the sunset was amazing. It was still a bit chilly for the season, so we couldn’t use the pool, but we’d love to come back when it’s warmer. The staff were also very kind—thank you so much. It was an excellent Hotel with nothing to complain about.

Excellent service, excellent meals, and excellent baths & sauna. This was our first trip with our dog, and we made wonderful memories. We’d like to come again in summer. It was an outstanding Accommodation.

I’ve stayed at various villas on Miyakojima, and this was a highly satisfying stay. The first thing I noticed upon arrival was the outstanding design throughout the entire space. Not only the building itself, but also the art and furniture placement were thoughtfully curated, making it comfortable to spend time here from start to finish. These days, many villas highlight ocean views, but this one offers a gajumaru (banyan tree) view. Personally, I’m tired of villas that rely solely on an ocean view while the interior feels like an ordinary house, so it was wonderful to feel the strong commitment to the quality of the space itself. It also felt rare to find an Accommodation like this on Miyakojima. Every angle looked great, and the atmosphere in person was far better than in photos. Judging by price alone, it may seem upscale, but once you stay here, you can truly feel that it’s worth the price. In fact, it made the difference from more budget-focused villas very clear. I’d love to stay again when I visit Miyakojima. Thank you very much.

Our second stay, following last year. Last time we chose a no-meals Plan and brought meat, vegetables, and other ingredients from home to enjoy a BBQ on the terrace. The terrace had a large gas grill, plus a table and chairs always set up. It was pouring rain outside, but the space was completely sheltered from wind and rain, so we could BBQ comfortably as if we were indoors. This time, since we planned to spend dinner with friends’ family in Omura City, we chose a breakfast-only Plan. Right after arrival, the staff warmly welcomed us and provided careful guidance and explanations about the Facility, while our dog enjoyed playing ball in the outdoor yard. Last time we booked a Room with a large garden but couldn’t use it due to heavy rain, so this time we chose one without a garden. Even so, there was still enough yard space for ball play, and there was also a dog run next to the Accommodation building. In addition to an indoor hinoki bath in the Room, there was even an open-air bath, so we could relax in the baths after returning from dinner and again in the morning. For breakfast, more than enough ingredients were prepared in the refrigerator, along with plenty of seasonings and tableware—so we made a luxurious morning meal at our preferred time and in our own way. For reference: my daughter had cheese toast with grilled bacon plus a fresh vegetable salad, yogurt, and soup; my husband had hot sandwiches with fried eggs plus salad and coffee—everyone ate what they liked and was very satisfied. One note: there were thorny plants growing in parts of the yard and dog run; it can be dangerous unless removed before letting dogs play. We ended up trimming some ourselves while saying it would be nice if it were mowed shorter overall. Even so, it’s an excellent Facility—we will definitely stay again.

I stayed for one night as a solo guest. This Accommodation offers an Onsen-focused experience, with a spacious Room featuring a free-flowing Onsen bath, plus access to the Onsen at the nearby roadside station. Breakfast is served buffet-style and includes local dishes such as noppe-jiru. It’s popular and Reservations may be hard to secure, but I’d love to stay again.
