The Onsen is wonderful. The views from the Room, lobby, and Onsen are full of nature and very relaxing. The building seems old, but it has been well maintained and was clean. The staff were all cheerful and greeted us warmly in clear voices, which felt great and made us smile too. It was also fun to try making our own jingisukan and kama-meshi for the first time. This is a reasonably priced Onsen Hotel that you can truly enjoy—I highly recommend it.

The luxury of having an open-air bath in the Room. I found myself soaking again and again—at night, in the middle of the night, and in the morning. The meals were beautifully presented and more than plentiful, and I also enjoyed a variety of local sake. And there was the coolness unique to the highlands. In every way, it was a wonderful trip where I truly felt relaxed and unhurried. Thank you very much.

The entire hotel was clean, and the staff were very kind and helpful. I’m glad we chose to have dinner at the hotel instead of searching around. If I have the chance to visit again, I would like to stay at Hotel Route-Inn Nagahama Inter again.

When I went to the front desk to ask if I could park my car before check-in, there were only foreign staff and I couldn’t communicate well. We stayed for two nights, and my wife lost the Room key, so I contacted the front desk, but again it was foreign staff and they didn’t understand—saying they would check—and that was it. However, with pre-registration enabling instant check-in via QR code and a Room mirror with tablet functions for instant check-out, I feel this Hotel is ahead of its time.

It was a compact, easy-to-use Room. The showerhead, hair dryer, and shampoo amenities were all ReFa, which was great. However, it was disappointing that the bathroom had not been fully cleaned. Since it’s close to the station, I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.

This is a very comfortable Hotel to stay at. I was very satisfied with the Facilities, including the cafe hours, the large public bath, and the sauna, and my stay was pleasant. Although I also stay at luxury Hotels, this Hotel—especially thanks to the staff—stood out as truly considerate and welcoming for guests. I also appreciate how you handled an unexpected incident. I would definitely like to stay here again next time.

This trip was booked at the last minute while keeping an eye on the weather. Luckily, there was availability, and we were able to stay at a much lower price than nearby accommodations. Not everything was perfect, but the room was spacious, the meals were very delicious, and we were satisfied with the service. No one in our family had any complaints. Our itinerary ended up being quite rushed, but everything went smoothly—perhaps thanks to this inn. Thank you very much for your hospitality; we were able to spend a relaxing time here.

The free-flowing Onsen water pours vigorously from the wall into the indoor bath, and in the open-air bath it cascades like a waterfall from the rocks—something Onsen lovers will truly appreciate. This was my father’s favorite place, and he was very happy. The meals were delicious and just the right amount. On the way to the large public bath, it was fun to see carp gathering where the spring water flows and bathing under it like a waterfall shower. The Room felt refreshingly cool with lush green trees outside. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

It was a wonderful stay. The food was delicious, and the wide selection of sake is heaven for sake lovers. Thank you to the staff for their excellent hospitality. The only disappointment was that our schedule didn’t allow us to use the open-air bath. We’ll be back.

While preserving the traditional machiya atmosphere overall, the Accommodation has been thoughtfully renovated with a focus on key areas such as the bathroom and kitchen—spacious, spotless, and highly practical. It was a comfortable space with an excellent sense of balance. Unlike a typical Hotel stay, it offered an experience that blends into the neighborhood, and I felt as if I were spending my very first day after moving in. There are many lighting fixtures, and being able to fine-tune them to suit different situations was very convenient. The complimentary local drinks—such as roasted green tea and cider—were a delightful touch that added to the travel mood. Everything from the teapot and cups to the tray and even the hair dryer had a refined design that was pleasing to look at. It was a wonderful Room combining quality with functionality. Under normal circumstances this would unquestionably be a 5-star stay, but this time I am rating it 3 stars. The guests upstairs ran around for minutes at night and again the next morning like shuttle runs, even falling loudly at times. It was noise at a level that would feel excessive even in an ordinary Hotel—and all the more so in a machiya-style place like Komado. Even if our floors were reversed and I were staying upstairs, it would still have carried through. It was extremely difficult to endure. I wanted to raise this through staff, but neither the main phone line nor the emergency contact number could be reached around 7:30 p.m. I believe this Accommodation’s core appeal is its high-quality feel that blends seamlessly into everyday life in town, so it was deeply disappointing that such noise is fundamentally incompatible with that experience. That said, if you are not paired with guests like we had this time, it will surely be an outstanding stay without complaint. Being able to look out onto the courtyard was also fantastic; it is illuminated at night and offers scenery different from daytime—I never got tired of it!

Conveniently located near the airport, I always stay here for early morning flights. The beds are spacious and very comfortable. Thanks to the flowing Onsen, I had a great night's sleep. I didn’t have time for breakfast this time, but I’d like to wake up earlier someday and try it.

Bath There were no foreign guests doing unhygienic things like leaving towels in the bathwater, so we could use the bath with peace of mind. We enjoyed the Onsen.

The hot springs, hospitality, and meals were all excellent, and we were very satisfied. The dishes were mostly seafood, but every item was delicious and truly satisfying. The service was also wonderful. We arrived early, but they kindly showed us to our room, which we really appreciated.\nThis is an inn we would love to stay at again.

I stayed here for a business trip. It’s just a stone’s throw from Yonago Station, and it felt like you head over to a sister property a short distance away to use the parking lot. That sister property’s lot is a bit small, and there were quite a few cars that looked like they belonged to people in the trade, so I parked with my heart in my throat—but now it’s a funny story. As for the Hotel itself, the standout is definitely the large public bath. It was so wonderful that they could honestly charge extra for it. It warmed me right down to my core. The trouser press in the room was also excellent—so good you’d want to shout, “Focus right here!” And finally, breakfast. They made generous use of local specialties from the Sanyo region. I’d spent quite a bit at dinner the night before at “Shoya,” so having breakfast included was fantastic. If I had to put an equivalent value on it, it easily felt like 3,000 yen worth. Overall, there wasn’t a single thing I could complain about. I travel to Tottori often for work, and I’d like to make this my go-to Accommodation from now on. One last tip: Kobuta Hanten on the first floor is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Chugoku region. Their extra-garlicky gyoza and “golden fried rice” were incredibly good—and surprisingly affordable.

Thank you for your hospitality the other day. When I told you I can’t eat raw fish, thank you for preparing alternative dishes. The food looked great and tasted wonderful, and we also enjoyed the complimentary extra dish. The bath warmed me up so well that I stayed warm for a long time afterward. The detox water after the bath was also delicious. It was great to be offered a draft beer as a welcome drink at check-in—it was the perfect refreshing drink after a long drive. I would love to stay with you again.

I stayed overnight in Shimonoseki and was looking for an Accommodation where I could truly look forward to the meals. Since there was a Plan that included both fugu and beef, I made a Reservation right away. The building is a long-established culinary Ryokan with a sense of history, and I heard that locals use it for weddings and funerals as well as to enjoy seasonal fish dishes. The fugu was served as tessa (a Kansai term), with thick slices and an exceptional sweetness. The Miyazaki beef was also tender, and the combination was easy to enjoy. The dishes may look simple at first glance, but each one is carefully crafted—far beyond anything an amateur can judge. The staff were polite yet relaxed, offering thoughtful, unobtrusive service that made my stay very comfortable. That said, I wouldn’t recommend it to travelers whose main priority is the Facility. As a long-established Ryokan, the building clearly shows its age in a good way, and you can tell it has been carefully maintained. This was my first stay here, but I would definitely like to return the next time I visit Shimonoseki. Thank you very much.

After moving from Yokohama to the Kansai area, we were looking for an Accommodation nearby that offers delicious French cuisine and allows for a relaxed one-night stay. In Yokohama, there were several great places in Hakone—about a 90-minute drive away—serving excellent French or Italian food, but for our anniversary we found and decided to try this place on Awaji Island through IKYU. For dinner, we enjoyed beautifully presented and delicious French dishes made with locally sourced seafood, meat, and vegetables from Awaji Island. As I’ve gotten older, the smell of Wagyu fat has become a bit heavy for me, so I asked if another meat could be substituted. They kindly changed it from Awaji beef to roasted lamb loin, which was excellent. From check-in onward we received pleasant service, and at dinner as well their thoughtful yet unobtrusive attention allowed us to enjoy the meal comfortably—we truly appreciated it. Breakfast was also a wonderful surprise: not a buffet, but served in a full-course style. The Hotel faces the road leading to “Ningen no Mori,” but it sits on a small hill; on the other side is forest. From our Room we could see the trees—it was quiet and very relaxing. The Room feels spacious thanks to its high ceiling despite its size. The property consists of three buildings with only a small number of Rooms in each one, so even though the lounge area is not large, it remained calm. We were able to enjoy wine at ease. Perfect for a short getaway. We also heard that venison is served in winter, so we would love to visit again during that season.

I have stayed here before and returned again after a while. This time, I was delighted to find that a new private sauna had been added. It was great to be able to use it freely at my preferred time without worrying about others, and I enjoyed it many times during my stay. The sofa had also been replaced, and as a repeat guest, I was happy to see not only new facilities being added but also careful maintenance and gradual improvements being made. The room was clean, the facilities and amenities were well stocked, and I had another comfortable stay. My dog also relaxed and enjoyed the dog run, so both owner and pet were very satisfied. I would definitely like to stay again.
